The Best 7 Hair Salons in Kennewick, Benton (part 4)

Shauna Shepherd I am so grateful for a stylist that always gets it right! Even when I don’t know exactly what I want, Danielle takes the time to listen and takes what I think I want, along with her years of experience and nails it every time! I always get so many compliments on my hair! I’ve had it colored and cut multiple times, I’ve had extensions, my boys have had cuts done here and my daughter had a fun color and cut done as well. Between the 4 of us, we have scheduled with several of the stylists and they are all amazing. We won’t go anywhere else!

theresa Saldana Danielle did such an amazing job. It was my daughters first hair cut ever but she made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Her and my daughter now have a wonderful special bond.

Bobbie haug Danielle is amazing!! She’s one of the sweetest funniest and most real people I know!! She listens to what you want and more than delivers!! She gave me advice and was honest with me about what would be best for my hair and what would look best too! She’s very fast and efficient! She’s a serious rockstar in and out of the salon! So thankful I found a hairdresser who can beyond give me the results I hope to achieve with my hair!! She has a true passion for what she does and loves people so well!! Anne Francis I moved here from the west side of the state, where I had the same hair stylist for 10 years. I was nervous to let someone new touch my hair and I wasn’t sure who that someone would be. A friend recommended Artistry and I’m so glad they did! Danielle takes time and genuinely cares for my hair. She treats it tenderly and doesn’t cut corners. My hair always feels more full of life & strength after I leave. Danielle has been so generous to me over the past year - often giving my eyebrows a wax without charge. Jazmin just recently gave my 7 year old son some highlights and he LOVED the experience! She was gentle and inviting and made him laugh at the shampoo station! She used bright purple shampoo & styled his hair in funny ways - ‘old man part’, Mohawk, etc. He loved it and asked to come back again! The salon is clean & modern & I appreciate the music they play!!

Jazzmyn Gordon I received eyelash extensions from this salon and was very happy with them at first… Although, after a while I noticed that my lashes were not having a natural fallout, they hurt, and was not happy with how they looked at the end of the appointment (the lash tech did offer me a free mini fill after I told her I was upset with how they looked). I would book a 2 week fill and be done with my appointment is 30 minutes (usually 1 hr) or I would book a mini fill and be filled in 10 minutes (usually 30 mins). I really did enjoy my conversations with the lash tech but that doesn’t excuse poor technique. Having 6 lashes connected to one fan is unacceptable (attached picture). I also had a negative experience with checking in at the salon. Almost everyone seemed to be irritated when I would check in for my appointment and dismiss me with an eye-roll, very unprofessional. I have been getting lash extensions since 2018 and have never had such horrible application. I unfortunately can not recommend this place, in good faith, for lash extensions. I’m unsure about the rest of the services they offer but the feeling of not being welcome when checking in for my appointment leaves me questioning their professionalism.

Amz I love the hairstylist, Elizabeth, and am glad I found her again at the Kennewick Walmart. She is very understanding and flexible to work with. Her communication and caring nature for customers to understand and their needs I truly appreciate. Id definitely recommend her for anyone to get a beautiful haircut! Thank you Elizabeth. It was lovely to found you back.

dmurill I dont usually do reviews, but I think Smart Style deserves it. I have been going there for a few years now and having specifically Skyla cut my hair. My hair is particular challenging for to all the weird cow picks in different places. She takes the time to work with it and my hair is so easy to style after that. My only complaint is trying to schedule a hair cut with her hours, seems she is not wotking as much. I have had to go other places when I would rather be at Smart style. Thank you

Shaiann Grimes Liz is awesome. I have been using her services since she became licensed, and have followed her from her Richland store to Kennewick. She has great product knowledge and is great with all of my kids and their differing hair types. She is patient with my requests and her humor keeps me coming back! She is an asset to any work place.

Angela Landry Skyla is awesome. very personable and very efficient. She knows exactly how to cut hair to frame your face and pull out features. Please have her at the salon more , The company is very lucky to have her.

S P Jessica is amazing! She is truly the BEST! She is so kind, she gives me great tips and suggestions on how to make my hair healthier... She gives me great product suggestions. I absolutely love how she does my cut and color! I am so happy with how she does my hair every time! I am so thankful for her and Studio One!

Lyshelle Sorg I recently got my hair done by Alex. I only ever had one person touch my hair in 29 years so I was nervous. She did MAGIC on my hair. I am so beyond thankful. She had me in actual tears once I saw myself. She is worth a million dollars.

Brittany Lofton Ive never been this happy while leaving a hair appointment. Alexia just updated my balayage and Im OBSESSED with the money piece that she did for me. I cant wait to go back. Everyone there is so kind, the salon itself is beautiful, and the prices are reasonable for the amazing work that they do. Thank you!

Amanda Pomeroy I absolutely love Studio One! The vibe is incredible, and everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. Kathy, the owner and my stylist, is nothing short of amazing! Rachel Willison Ive been going to Studio One Salon for almost 5 years now. I see Kathy and she always listens to what I want and executes it perfectly. Shes so attentive to detail and has trained her whole salon to have the same mindset. Her whole team is highly qualified and I consistently am recommending Studio One to all my friends.

Laura Ayala My mom is very picky of how her hair is cut because she has short hair, and we’ve been looking for a stylist that KNOWS how to use the scissors correctly and what angle to cut. We are happy, we finally found the stylist!

Sharee Butler We decided to try this place out. I love the feel of the place and the atmosphere was very inviting. Ellma was very nice and suggestive about ideas to try for my daughters hair. My daughters hair turned out very nice. I decided to make an appointment for my hair next day. My appointment went well I liked visiting with Ellma. My hair turned out a little different then I had originally asked for. So I went home and tried to get used to it and couldnt so I called the salon and talked with Elma about it and went and purchased the exact colors I wanted and she set up an appointment to redo it and try and get the color I wanted. She couldnt quite get it done at that appointment so I have to go back in 2 weeks again to try and get it like what I was asking for. Overall the experience is great for mood and feeling invited and if your looking for a biolage style she does that amazing as well and high lights she did to my daughters hair were great as well. I havent went to a salon in like 7 years so I dont know if the prices were low high or same as everywhere else but my daughters highlights were 180 plus tip and I was supposed to have a reverse ombre but I got a biolage the first appointment and after all said and done it was 260 dollars for my hair plus I had to go repurchase my colors at Sallys for another 40 bucks. So theres my review of Queens.

Jody Riedinger Easy online check-in with a courtesy text about 15 minutes before you need to be there. My mom gets a difference hairstylist every time, but she always gets great service, a great cut, and is treated well.

Jessica Ngo My husband went in for a men’s haircut. They do not know how to blend at all. Nor do they know how to lineup and clean side burn. We will have to go home and finish what they couldn’t. We even went back in to have them fix some of the mistakes we saw and they were rude. My husband tipped very well. If you want a great or even decent men’s cut, please look elsewhere

Donna Pearson Sara has been cutting my hair and has done a great job. She listens to me. I have been VERY happy with the results.

Chris Rodriguez I always come here and feel comfortable but this appointment was not one of them. I usually got cat and I wish she was there. The lady I had has short curly blonde hair. She was paying more attention to her own hair or cloths than my own hair. She had to ask multiple times what I wanted even tho I had notes she needed to print on the stand. She was more focused on having conversation with her fellow peers and laugh. I had the cord to the clippers or blow dryer hit me in the face multiple times. I had to question her on her hair cutting and asked if she can actually do my haircut instead of joking with her peers. I’m unsure why I tipped her. I don’t recommend her at all. Sorry.

Julie Whitney No waiting, Maria was fabulous and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. Very pleased and will definitely go back when I need my next haircut .

Valerie Csbn I actually loved going here because Ana knew how I liked my long hair styled and textured. Ana also went out of her way to always make great conversation with me. The reason I am no longer a customer of hers is because whenever I called and made an appointment Id be a little early or on time and she would let the people who walked in with no appointments get their hair done ahead of me. Id show up 10-15 minutes early prior to my appointments and I would have to wait 30 minutes to an hour to have my hair cut. I didnt understand why people who walk in and ask if she had time for them shed say yes to and do their hair first even though I always made sure to book an appointment. I put up with it for so long because she really was the best person I had found who understood what I wanted. But.... What drew the last straw for me going over there, is that I made an appointment on a Saturday. I arrived a few minutes early and I waited a good 15 minutes before I asked a girl when I would be seen because I made an APPOINTMENT with Ana. The gal said, "shes not here, shes not coming in today." They didnt even bother to try to fit me in. I left so upset, angry and deeply hurt. I really liked Ana, I loved the way she did my hair and how she took her time on it, but I didnt like and could no longer put up with her not following through with my appointments, the long waits, and the fact that she didnt show up at all. Ana, you lost my trust.

Angela Sauceda Ana is very professional and friendly every time we go in. I usually take my boys to get their fades at her salon. Shes the best but seems to hire good stylists because Ive always been content with the quality. Other salons Ive been to rush and leave some long hair or dont blend their fades well. Its usually not crowded either! Only complaint I have is that every time I really like how their hair turns out I keep the stylists name and when I call to ask for them they arent working there anymore. So Im not really sure who Im gonna get the next time.

Karen Hernandez I only go to Ana’s beauty salon to get my eyebrows waxed and sometimes threaded. No matter who does them they come out top notch. They take their time on making sure they come out as even as possible. I don’t trust anyone else to even come close to my eyebrows.

makayla hart Too Expensive, they made me pay $25 for a trim that only cut off an inch of my hair and they didnt even wash it before she just spritzed it with water. I do not recommend.

amy blaine Love the ambiance of Salon on 1st and Anita does a fantastic job of giving the customer what they ask for. She works with you on color ideas and her prices are very fair. Great hair stylist and comfortable location.

Kylie Glendenning I never leave reviews but I felt like I needed to. I haven’t been to a hair salon in years! I’m talking like 5 or more years because I was so scared of all the haircut horror stories and I loved my long hair. But I really wanted layers. I was afraid if I went they would cut off all my length and make the layers look choppy. But I finally took the risk and went to this salon. I showed the lady exactly what I wanted and kept repeating that I wanted to keep as much length as possible with layers. She was so understanding and professional about it. She asked me questions about how short was too short and when she was done I still had lots of length in my hair with well blended layers. For someone who was so scared to go to the hairdresser she calmed all my fears. Will definitely go back! Her name is Sherry I believe.

Constance Wikum If you want chemically scalped by Jamie who could care less and put dark dye in your Barbie blonde hair for almost 5 hour great then the owner could care less I have pictures and a time line then NY Jamies side kick. I thought we were friend I trust very few people with my hair. I even took her breakfast that morning. Just very sad and hurt she would do this to me my old hairdresser in Oregon said with 45 years of experience Jamie knew what the outcome would be. At first it was beautiful then they added a very dark dye to my hair then tried to bleach it out continuously for over 4 hours. Those products should never exceed 45 minutes. I did confirm with Loreal holiness. Also she scalded my scalp and kept putting my under a extremely hot hair dryer. I just stayed calm li ING through this nightmare. I contacted Jamie and Sheri no refund no apology no help what so ever. My hair is still getting thinner every day. DONT LET THIS BE YOU. My hair was extra long and strong before this.
