Bobbi Bagwell New to town and made and appointment with Amy upon a referral. So glad I found her! She nailed my (long over due) color and cut perfectly! Great location and atmosphere, along with a stylist that was timely and listened to my preferences, and did a great job!

Melanie Hevel-Olson Tracy is always the best. I have never had a better hairdresser. She’s a sweetheart too.

Katherine Nguyen I was hit with racist remarks and the haircut I received did not turn out how I wanted it to be. I asked for a “hime cut,” basically layers, thin, wispy bangs, and a blunt face-framing piece along the bangs. I showed photos for reference. I specifically asked for “thin and wispy bangs that sit below my eyebrow,” but what I received was thick and chunky bangs that sat above my eyebrow. I had to have the stylist recut my bangs about 3-4 times because they weren’t straight. Along with that, when cutting the face-framing pieces, she didn’t ask how long I wanted them and cut whenever she felt like. Along with that, after sectioning out the amount of hair in the face-framing pieces, she added more hair without warning because it “fell into place.” Those pieces ended up being way too thick and I couldn’t do anything about it. I felt defeated because she had already cut too much off. The racist remarks were a whole other thing. At first, the stylist thought I was someone else. This initially doesn’t sound like a bad thing, but the stylist most likely said this because I’m Asian. She asked “Did you leave earrings here last time?” And I replied “I’ve never been here before,” and she responded with “Oh. Wrong one.” What does that even mean? Another thing that happened was when she was asking me if the length of the top layer in the back was short enough. I didn’t know what she was gesturing at, so I said “I don’t know what I’m looking at, I can’t see,” and the stylist respond “It’s because you’re not wearing your glasses!” I didn’t bring glasses into the salon. I have never needed glasses. I paid full price + tip for disappointment and for racist remarks. The stylist nailed the layers in my hair, but that’s about it. If you’re looking for a simple trim or someone to do your layers, go here. Don’t ask for anything too “out there,” because the stylist won’t be able to do it.

Elizabeth Woodward A warm welcome when entering the salon, the owner is new, so most of the reviews i read before my first visit are with other owners. One of the cool things this salon is doing is giving local artists a chance to show and sell their work for a month at a time. I will return for a second haircut and more cuddling with the owners dog.

I love the environment and how kind everyone is. They really know what they’re doing and they take your suggestions into consideration. I’ll always recommend this salon to all of my friends and family. I’m even having mine and my wedding party’s hair done this December on my wedding day, and we’re all so excited to spend that time at Serendipity Salon!

Allese Berry I am throughly upset that I paid $82 plus tip for the worst set of nails Ive seen. She hurt my daughter and as you can see, she has the audacity to say that my daughter is a "bleeder". Her finger was sore and hurt for over a week. Maybe dont cut into your clients flesh and they wont bleed as bad. She really hurt her cuticle on one of her nails to the point it wouldnt stop bleeding. The nails themselves popped off twice on the first day. I have to say she did fix the nails that came off but if you look at the pictures, the nails were thick and not smooth. She does not do acrylic properly. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I am very upset by the response the owner gave. No. My daughter did not like the nails. They were thick, didnt cover the entire nail, and kept popping off. She finally gave up after they popped off yet again. I have never seen nails done so poorly.

Roseann Zigan This was my first time here. Melissa was a wonderful person. She was easy to talk with and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. It was very clean. She did a wonderful job on my nails. I do recommend an appointment. She is very busy do to just opening in April 2024. Before Opening this place she worked in a salon in Benton City. She was there for many years. They also do Manis, Pedis, artificial, gel, nail art and more. Plus there is a licensed hair stylist. Theyre also looking for more licensed hair stylist if youre looking for a job.

Bettie is not only an exceptional stylist but also a great listener when it comes to understanding my hair color and style preferences. I have always been impressed by her skills and professionalism. Gabriella Van Corbach Very Disappointed. DO NOT let Laura anywhere near your hair. For a “professional” hairdresser with 19 years of experience, what she did was NOT okay. Laura was suppose to give my 4 year old a handsome haircut but she completely botched his hair and turned one of his most favorite things to do into a terrible experience leaving my son feeling uncomfortable during the hair cutting interaction. - LAURA PUSHED MY SONS (4yo) HEAD DOWN Instead of using her words to communicate. - LAURA ACTIVELY CUT HIS HAIR WHILE LOOKING AWAY - Left him in the chair midway to ring up another client who was displeased with her disabled husbands haircut which ended with Laura stating it’s the clients body that makes the haircut look poor. - LAURA MADE INAPPROPRIATE AND UNPROFESSIONAL COMMENTS She told my 4 year old son “you have a HAIRY neck” and when she tried getting away with not trimming the top of the head, I told her I still wanted the top trimmed and she responded with, “Well we tried” and seemed annoyed that I wanted an actual haircut for my son. - LEFT BALD SPOTS The finished cut was worse than a 10 year old taking a try at cutting his brothers hair for the first time. The back was uneven, the top was a mess.. uneven as well. The right side of the top/bangs was LONGER than the middle of the bangs and the left side of the top/bangs were SHORTER than the middle leaving it looking funny and somewhat intentional. The BACK?! The back she knicked two different bald spots which definitely looks the worse out of her Three areas of mess ups. Maybe after 19 years it’s time to retire or change careers because it’s just UNBELIEVABLE.

Megon K After having two salons cancel on us, we walked in to Great Clips hoping they could see my 9 year old. They told us the wait was 20 minutes but we only had to wait a minute. My daughter walked away so happy with her hair cut. It was a great experience.

Nathan Barrientes Most disappointing job I’ve had. Never would want to work here again. Management is poor and salon cleanliness is a big issue. Would not recommend getting any services here. No one cleans up all the hair at the end of the day. Hair is left in the drawers, all over the stations, chairs, floors, you name it there is 20+ other people’s hair on it. Stylist here have 2 minutes in between every guest to wash hands and disinfect their station and tools, this business even expect them to do it in faster than 2 minutes. Do you think that they’re all washing their hands? Or use hand sanitizer between each guest? Well I can tell you most of them, DO NOT. For this to be one of the busiest Great Clips in the area, you can definitely tell. It’s dirty, and girls are smoking their vape pens in the back room. POOR MANAGEMENT.

Evalena Dalsbo The hairdresser was really friendly and nice, and she tried to do what I wanted, I think...? But uhhh my hair got royally screwed. I asked for a trim with some mild layers and my bangs blended in. The front looks good to me, but once dried, you can tell that the back looks horrid. The layers are choppy and uneven and the distance between layers is yucky. She also trimmed off way more than I asked for (about 3 inches vs 1), which wouldve been fine if it had looked good. Just dont go here if you have long hair, I shouldve learned my lesson by now.

Lauretta Pri Were here right now and its been less than five minutes and two of the ladies have been obnoxious. The first one wouldnt let me finish asking about hairstyles and just kept talking over me to tell me she didnt need to discuss what I wanted, just needed to know who would go first. She finally just bypassed me and started talking to my kids instead. She was intensely condescending. The next lady said my kids hair had too many tangles, its less than two inches long and there was one tangle in the back where hed slept and turned his head back and forth. So I asked her if shed like me to comb it and she said yes and I combed it in literally 15 seconds. She said I didnt need to look at her like I did. I looked at her like someone who brought their kid in to have their hair done and was doing half of it for them. I realize working with the public is hard, and things get busy or tense, but this was ridiculous and unnecessary. I always tip, but I didnt. I tried to do the transaction for my kids separately so I could tip the lady who wasnt rude, but they couldnt figure out how to do that. Im never coming back here again.

Rey I’ve been bringing my son here for over a year we’d always get the same stylist she has short red hair she’s amazing and patient. Yesterday was a very different experience and we will never go back. We got the blonde lady with cat eye glasses she seemed like she was having a bad day. My son doesn’t like the feeling of clippers and she straight up asked me if he was autistic very unprofessional the rest of the haircut she was in such a bad mood talking under her breathe threatened to stop in the middle of my sons haircut if he kept moving because her back hurt and told me not to request the haircut he got again because he wasn’t old enough for it ???? I told her he’s never had an experience like this and she said well I’m not gonna baby him. Very unprofessional very uncomfortable experience will never return again. Mind you I still tipped her because I know servicing people isn’t easy especially kids but she was straight up rude.

Randhawa Manie (Manie) Genuinely happy faces will welcome you at the counter n ask if u have online check in? ( wow tech savvy, u can check in online such tht u dont have to wait in the queue. Ur friendly hair stylist will check u in the computer n make u seated at ur dresser. Just tell them what u want n it will be fulfilled. Most of the merchandise is buy one get one 50% off but i m guessing there will be different bogo offers at different times.

Lindsay Reeser Took my 4-year-old son in for a haircut, and while the stylist was very nice, the cut was awful. She styled his hair with gel and combed it to the side, so I didn’t notice how bad it was until later that day. After his nap, it was clear that nothing was even, and the sides and back weren’t properly cleaned up. He has never had an amazing haircut here, but it was always at least passable—this time, it was unacceptable. My husband took him back the next day, and a different stylist, who was incredibly kind, fixed it right away. She knew exactly who had done the original cut before we even said anything and admitted that this stylist regularly does poor haircuts and covers it up with gel. If that’s the case, why is she still working there? This experience has really made us question whether we’ll be returning.

Seren CC Cashiers never reminder the customers to use any coupon in their account, even do not reminder for birthday customer to claim their Bday gift. So what is the point of entering phone number and checking first / last name for checking out!

Dawn P I recommend you go to any other Ulta but this one. The staff are always rude and unhelpful. They close early and stuff is always out of stock, or in the back.

candace marsh It was getting a lil late, so I made it a point to hop on line really quick to ensure they were open. Just as I approached the door of the Richland Ulta at 8:52, an employee walked up and locked it. I checked the time on my phone again, as I stood there in disbelief. At this point , there were now 3 employees, smirking as they put forth a valiant effort to NOT make any eye contact with me. I almost never write reviews but being that this wasnt the first (or second, or third, or...) time that I have experienced poor customer service at Ulta. My biggest complaint & the main reason I typically take my business elsewhere is the empoyees. The gossip & "mean-girl atmosphere is not for me.
