A E As soon as you walk in its a very open and clean facility. I havent seen the medical portion of it yet, as my appointment is not for a bit. However their dental staff is amazing! The receptionist was very kind and sweet. The dental hygienist was so kind and thorough during the x rays and Dr. Russell is the absolute sweetest dentist I have ever had in my life! I am so glad I established dental care through New health. I am praying that the medical portion is the same experience that I received in dental!

C. D. My husband saw Lisa M. She is phenomenal. She listens and takes her time. The MAs and front staff are not cheerful. But Lisa is well worth the few minutes you have to deal with staff.

Darlene Turner I went through two doctors and another clinic both ended up quitting and I found myself frustrated with the uncertainty so I went to Newport new health just to try it out I picked my own doctor and I have not one single complaint my doctor listens to me follows up on stuff and made sure that I could always get in touch and use my portal I absolutely adore the people that work there

Sandra Dawn This place is amazing I moved here just about 2 years ago before newhealth opened and had the unfortunate experience trying to set up health care through newport hospital what a nightmare after months of dealing with that train wreck I was very discouraged thinking I moved to a place with such horrible health care and ended up using Chaz health in deer park which had 0 issues getting my whole family in right away but it was a long ways to go for Drs so I was hopefully optimistic when they started building newhealth and man what a blessing to our community these guys are great ! Super friendly front desk we love you Christina! And Lisa malakowsy is such an amazing provider she always takes such good care of everyone in our family we never feel rushed she always takes the time to listen to our concerns and answer any questions we have. I have such peace of mind knowing she is in charge of my families health care

David Lewis A very new and ultra modern health care facility in Newport. They provide medical, dental, and pharmacy in a very modern ultra technology facility. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you live in this area, give them a try.

Jan Fries I had to get some lab work done. I was checked in immediately and went to the lab, where I was greeted by a very friendly and efficient worker the blood draw was almost comfortable! I always get good results when I use this lab. There are very skilled.

Tana Oliver The entire staff at the front desk, Keith Bell, PA-C, and his staff are professional, courteous, and caring individuals. I continue to choose this facility for my health care even though they are out of network for my Medicare Advantage PPO plan. The service and care cannot be found anywhere else in my experience. Outstanding facility and group for all your medical or hospital needs!!

Charlie Hollaway Accidently stabbed myself while carving. Got to the er about 9pm on a Saturday. The staff Bill, Michelle, Janelle, Amy and Dr Peterson were quick, professional and pleasant to deal with. Great instructions for home care and excellent follow up.

Joe Smalley Came in with debris in my eyes. Great staff. Registration was quickest I could imagine. Triage was quick. Treatment was prompt and successful. Left healthy in under an hour.

Debbie Cone I found out this morning that the clinic has a Express Care. I walked in, was seen by Dr. Keith Bell with a wait no longer then if I had a appointment. Dr. Bell, checked my symptoms & I was out, just as quickly as I came in. My influenza A apparently spending too much time in my lungs. Thank you, this evening Im already feeling a tad better!!!

brooke Frame This hospitals emergency room traumatized my 3 year old. I would rather driver a hour to Bonner General than go to this hospital ever again (even though they are five minutes down the road). We brought my son into the emergency room due to pneumonia. His breathing was labored and he had a high fever. The nurse at first seemed nice enough. When my 3 year old didn’t want to take the fever medication two nurses held him down to try and get him to take the medication. He was screaming and stressing out to a point where my husband had to step in and get the nurses to stop. I had to leave the room with my infant. It was too much. They crossed a line. By that point the damage was already done and my son’s lip was busted and bleeding. The nurse didn’t even apologize for what she put him through. They brought a new nurse in afterwards. After we got my son to calm down my husband and I were able to administer the fever medication without the support of the hospital staff. My son used to be fairly easy at doctors and dentist appointments and after this experience he’s completely terrified. Additionally I have been time and time again either ignored by medical staff for my own ailments or misdiagnosed. I’ve seeked second opinions each time at facilities in Sandpoint and actually received the care I needed. It’s better to make the drive to Sandpoint or Spokane to get actual care from experienced professionals.

Dee Cee Calling the hospital on 11/21/24 at 2:25pm to find out if I have any debts to pay the hospital. The main person to pick up the phone was so rude, cut me off, and refused to give me her name after asking twice. Then she transfered me and again a super rude woman. Never had this issue with Newport Hospital before and the manner in which my call was received both times tells me that these two women were right near each other. Never could get the answer to square up my account. Cant say I did not try to find out!

Shannon Sylvia The most pleasurable experience I have ever had in a medical facility. From the front desk to the nursing staff. Even custodial, because the place has always been immaculate.

Patricia Albo Newport Health Care Center is the neighborhood Hospital. Ok, so Im not being politically correct here calling it Newport Hospital as it used to be. I guess its been a while since I lived up there. Its an alright hospital, people from a small town work there so you know theres going to be a small town comfortableness going on here. Sometimes its even your very own neighbors taking care of you when you are a guest at this hospital. The nurses where my family member frequently stayed, (no names mentioned) were just like family to all the rest of my real family and our patient was very well taken care of when he stayed there. He loved the staff and sometimes we had to talk him into going home! That should be proof of how well he was taken care of!

Sarah Monaco This place use to be a decent doctors office. Now they give you the run around and make it so difficult to get an appointment, if you are sick you have to wait days for an appointment after calling them back several times because triage is apparently to busy to call you back.

Alissa S I called the emergency room seeking medical advice (obviously I’m not a medical professional) for not being able to keep anything down for over 6 hours. Pregnant WITH covid and influenza a. The response I was met with was “You can do whatever you want.” Yeah, never would’ve thought that I a person in a free country would have free will to do as I please. I understand why you guys have a “no aggression” rule, you’re all too incompetent to actually do your job and people obviously get mad often from the incompetency. A hospital is supposed to save lives, not put them at risk.

Decima N If you value your health, please do not go to this clinic. The physicians at this clinic will miss diagnose you, over medicate you, and they will withhold medications that could provide relief for you as well. After being a patient at this clinic for five years, I finally was fed up and went to a different doctor, my new doctor can’t understand half of my medical records that was sent to her because none of them makes sense. The medication that was prescribed to me was done with zero blood work to see if the dosage was correct. Blood work that should’ve been repeated every six months was never done outside the initial check either. I was repetitively prescribed medication that my insurance would not cover and then could not get a hold of my doctor for days and would be forced to go to the ER to be treated. At one point I was even prescribed a medication that reacted poorly with something else I was prescribed by the same doctor and had a mild seizure. When I informed the clinic and my doctor of this, I was told repetitively that I don’t know what a seizure is and that’s not what happened at all. I must’ve been confused and fainted. (Even with witnesses who saw it happen) My current doctor thoroughly believes that I should’ve filed paperwork with the state for malpractice.

J U I have zero issues and nothing but praise for the care I have received. Recently had pneumonia, urgent care wait was minimal, doctor was awesome, and the docs nurse phoned my house twice over the next few days to inquire how I was doing. Nice folks, professional, caring, couldn’t ask for anything better than that :)

Sara Jean This would be a 5-star rating if it weren’t for the receptionists. They are cold, mean, and treat you like dog poo. Sitting in the waiting room and I’m listening to them badmouth patients as I type this. Making jokes about them and gossiping. It’s a bad look. They will do anything they can to avoid doing the job they are being paid for. I get anxiety just checking in. The doctors here are amazing, however. I feel bad that the face of the clinic is reflected in the ladies of the front desk and not in them. Do better NHC.

Daniel Millage Ive been coming to this clinic for years. The service at the front desk is excellent. The receptionists are efficient, polite, and professional. The rest of the staff is also great, friendly, and professional. I will continue to recommend this clinic to friends and family.

Maureen Baxter My husband was a patient. He had blood drawn and was told he had a life threatening disease and that he needed to have other tests done. We went in to have more blood drawn and they said they didnt need to. A month later he called because we hadnt heard anything and they said that they had a note sitting on his chart saying that he needed to come in and get more blood as drawn. They NEVER called him he had to call them . Absolutely not acceptable. Now we have to wait the time to get to another office to be seen. I wouldnt recommend the clinic for anything unfortunately.
