Ryan Tansy Just like everyone else, horrible customer service and experience. I keep getting hounded by a collection agency over a bill that was paid over 6 months ago. I provided the insurance bill showing it was paid. Still getting phone calls stating I owe $$. I have never had anything in collections.
They sent this to collections even though the bill was paid via insurance.
Trying to get a hold of a live person is next to impossible. Just stuck in a loop of endless on hold.

Lucerne de Moravia HEADS UP! Like everyone else in these reviews, I received a huge ($2000) bill because the nurse I was seen by in the ER belongs to this organization. Under the WA Balance Billing Protection Act, this is considered surprise billing and they CANNOT bill you anything if your insurance is not in-network. Contact support about your bill, give them this information, and then file a complaint with the WA state insurance commissioners office on their website if you need to. I did this and they immediately dropped my bill, no collections.

Lauren G I was "seen" at Sacred Heart (only saw nurses, never any Doctors). I told them I had new insurance, but they refused to actually take the information. When I reminded them later, I was told they had "found" my insurance. Since I have a state marketplace insurance now I thought it might be true.
Its been almost 2 months, and I only just found out through my hospital bill (not my physician billing bill) that they didnt have my insurance this entire time. I received a bizarre "Papaya Pay" text link that looks like a scam for a $1500 bill. If you click to expand it, which I had to send to myself in an email to get it to load on my computer and not my phone, it has zero phone contact information. I also wasnt able to tell if they had even tried to bill my insurance from that.
I called the number on the Spokane Emergency Physicians website, which seems to be a voicemail that just gets ignored. I have no idea what that number is even for. It took me a couple different calls to Sacred Heart, and speaking to people on 3 different phone numbers from them, until I finally reached the physician billing (844) 213-4632, by the way. They finally took my insurance to try to bill.
The other reviews here leave me suspicious that this will get handled correctly. This is no way to run a business. Healthcare payments are bad enough as it is, without this added nonsense.

Christine Barnes Edit: another call from the collections company after being told months ago that my sons secondary MEDICAID insurance would be billed, like it was supposed. These people are insane. Im ready to sue them. They are actively breaking the law by billing me instead of Medicaid.
I provided my sons primary and secondary insurance to Providence at the time of service, last year, like Im supposed to. Apparently this company did not get the memo and Ive been fighting with them since April to bill the secondary insurance. Over the phone, through email - I was told itd be taken care of. I continued to receive threatening texts to notify me that I would soon be sent to collections. Again, I contacted this scam of a company and was reassured again that I would not be sent to collections and they would take care of it.
Yesterday I received a call from a collection company. Im absolutely livid. I did everything I was supposed to do to avoid collections and time and time again they dropped the ball. I should get my lawyer involved, I shouldnt be punished for poor billing practices. As someone who works in medical billing, Im appalled by this company.
I called yesterday and all the woman could say was "Im so sorry this has happened. Well bill the secondary insurance then when we receive payment well reassess the collection status." I couldnt believe my ears. She acknowledged that they screwed up and Im still being punished? I said absolutely not and she escalated me to her "supervisors" voicemail and that shed get back to me in TWO BUSINESS DAYS. Complete insanity. I dont know who I need to contact to report this huge "mistake" but they need to be held accountable for their absolute stupidity.
Lastly, if theyd been capable of doing their jobs, they would have already gotten their money and in full. I know how collections works - the collection agency gets a big fee out of it. So not only did they waste my time and the collection agencys time, but they lost money. I cant imagine a dumber company.

Diann Rice So unprofessional and confusing where do I begin? I have about three different phone numbers supposedly for these people. I think they failed to bill my insurance properly but I can not get ahold of anyone to confirm. They are texting me at a time in history where scams are running high. Where is my paper statement? They are asking for over $500 unsubstantiated dollars. One number I called told me to call another. Even getting directly connected by the hospital...first they have no record but then acknowledge that they do have a record of my care....but I should call another number anyway. These people have put a lot of stress into their billing process. I guess they may be hoping for more patients in the ER if they stress us out enough. CRAZY! Now, after hours of work just trying to figure out where their true office is and who to talk to, to get my billing right...but no answers...looks like I will have to tackle this another day. I am questioning their ethics and their methods.
