Aliah Nurses, doctors, everyone I encountered while being treated were all kind, compassionate, and attentive. I was alone most of the time in the hospital and they all made me feel deeply cared for. Everything went smoothly and they did all they could to keep me constantly updated with my care plan and fit me in as soon as they could for my procedures. Beyond grateful. Thank you, thank you so much, to everyone that took care of me at Good Sam! You are appreciated!

Casey Carter 5 STARS for the nurses and caring staff who have been phenomenal!! 0 stars for the hospital and administration. My father has been in a bed in the hallway for 3 days next to the nurse station. Which means he hasnt slept or even able to shut his eyes for 3 days with the constant alarms, bright lights on 24/7, screaming crazies who somehow have a room, and with the nurses hustling around. He is in worse condition now, than when he entered the hospital because hes exhausted to the point of delusion. Unfortunately, my father is nice and courteous, but that seems hes being stepped over for those people who are raising hell, as they seem to get a room faster than those being nice. We have been told, "bed management" is finding a room, and I understand the hospital is busy, but this is inhumane. HORRIBLE! This hospital is far beyond capacity but yet the administration just keeps lining the hallway with more and more beds.

Craig Williams I had to go through diverticulitis operations at Good Samaritan hospital in Puyallup. The nursing staff has a night time nurse that is lazy and does not do her job. She was actually 6 hours late on my pain medication because she has to play these stupid video games that she keeps. Also, my account at the hospital was somehow hacked, I started getting fictitious bills from a second surgery company that doesnt even exist. I spent probably a total of 20 hours on hold with the hospital billing department and they never did answer any of my questions. There is no chance that I will ever go back to this hospital again. They are a bunch of bottom feeders.

Chelsey Carrera Such an odd experience in the ER this morning. I came in, quite reluctantly, after a 5 week cough, worried about pneumonia since clearly Flu A is rampant & turning into Pneumonia for a lot of people (I’m also a healthcare worker). I’m greeted by lovely staff at first, until I meet my RN, Erin, who blatantly and disrespectfully bats her eyelashes at her coworkers over 20 minutes—-insinuating a look of “are you serious? This girl is really here?” She then checks my vitals, I make small talk, she states there’s a lot of people that don’t need to be here right now and complains of the people coming in. I understand it’s busy, but you also need to understand that urgent care doesn’t do it all. We accept 1 walk in per 1-2 hours depending on the provider, so a lot of people are left having to visit the ER instead. Nobody wants to go to the ER to collect their 1k bill and wait for hours on end girl, please get a grip & have the decency to not be disrespectful in front of sick patients who are only coming here as a last resort. Sincerely, a fellow healthcare worker.

Dewi Setiani I would like to thank the L&D nurses who helped me go through the birth of my baby. I was so impressed. I couldn’t remember the name of each nurses who helped me. But I remember you all holding my hand, breath with me, supporting me, taking care of me, I was so scared but all the nurses were so kind and gentle. My baby was born in January and she has low blood sugar so she stayed in the NICU for a few days. Some nurses couldn’t get the needle in so my baby almost transferred to other hospitals, thankful for Nurse Sandy who was able to put the iv needle correctly. It was not easy for me but the nurses were so helpful and I will never forget all of you at good Sam for helping me to birth my beautiful baby and take care of her until she recover and come home with us. I really appreciate it ❤️

Daniel D. I was admitted to the ER after they discovered that my appendix was progressing towards a rupture and needed to be removed the next morning. I cant say enough good things about my experience here. The doctors and nurses all treated me extremely well. Its important to note that the people working here have not only one of the most important jobs a human can have (i.e. saving lives), but they also have to put up with a lot of B.S. and still take care of everyone to the best of their ability.

Mary Dempsey Nurse Michelle was fantastic and the guy who runs the CT scans was wonderful(the two "stars" of my visit). Dr. Harris barely touched me when I told him I had a painful lump and declared it to be my rib (its not). Then when he came back over 3 hours later to tell me they didnt find anything to explain my pain on my CT scan. I started crying (I have a chronic issue and have been passed from doctor to doctor) and he literally went to stand by the door to finish the conversation. No compassion or kindness, just acting like the ER is my first stop when its my last resort every time. Pain and vomiting and fatigue? He was just worried about emphasizing theres nothing he can do.The next nurse was a different guy who told me to be grateful they didnt find anything serious, which is totally the best thing to say to someone in pain desperate for a diagnosis (hint: no its not).

Ethan Tatum The nurse was terrible, he left me with no water, no remote for the TV, I asked for some chapstick or Vaseline 2× never got it. I told him I was nauseous and didnt even give me a barf bucket. I told them about my seizures and they just left me in the room, without checking up on me even one time. I left after getting a cather jammed in my arm and having a CATSCAN because I couldnt wait any longer for results. And I called but cant give me any of my test results over the phone, this place is a joke and the nurse I dealt with was cold and unsympathetic.

Cheyenne Allenbaugh This is my 3rd time at the Er over the last few months. Amanda was an excellent nurse & Dr Smith made sure I was comfortable, confident, & healthy before I left. Thank you all so much. Its always better to be safe than sorry.. I want to also thank Peg for letting me know whether there was a long wait or not. Lindsey refused each different way I asked which made me not want to come in at all, & unnecessarily uncomfortable. She said it was policy to not say many people or few people and really I just wanted to feel a little better going in since I have children who would be babysat for the duration.

Amanda Crocker I literally can not understand why this hospital only has 2 stars. Apparently form the reviews the problem lies in the ER??? Idk but my 22 year old daughter has been admitted for in patient care and the staff we have experienced, from the housekeeping to the nursing staff to the ultrasound techs and even the cafeteria staff. ALL HAVE BEEN PHENOMENAL! Her nurses have treated her like she was their own. Crescent and Erin are quite possibly the best nurses we have ever dealt with. They really care and it shows.

Desi R. Run, do not walk. RUN from this hospital if you can. Go to Kirkland. It may just save your life! And probably will. My mother came here several times and they were awful. They mis diagnosed her on several levels and several occasions. No one we ever saw was capabale of saving anyones life or properly diagnosing anything. They really didnt care or give much thought to anything we told them or anything they did.. Little did we know it was cancer eating away at her the whole time. As an elderly smoker, you think that wouldve at least crossed their mind. They blamed pneumonia, they blamed back and sciatica pain... chalked it up to whatever but never further investigated and led us to believeshe would get better with meds... They never gave the scans she needed and always said it was something else. Bumps on her head They said they were probably cysts and nothing to worry about. NO SCANS. Kirkland scanned immediately and we learned they were lesions from cancer. I wish I could give these peolle negative stars. Kirkland diagnosed her within minutes and had her in IMMEDIATELY for all scans. Anything and everything. They knew it wasnt pneumonia right away.. Well never forgive ourselves for coming to Evergreen ER in Monroe. Ill live with that regret forever. Please learn from our mistake and go to Kirkland.

Diana T My personal rating is 10 stars! Went in Saturday with side effects of heavy chemo. Not only did they hook me up with the very best care, they took the time to educate me and hold my hand. I cant say enough about Natalie, Lisa and many others that I did not get their names but know all efforts put forth resulted in the care I received. I cant imagine how difficult their jobs are. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR CARE! BLESSING EVERYONE AT EVERGREEN HEALTH MONROE!

Melissa Castro I’ve been a longtime patient at this office because I truly appreciate Dr. Nepal’s care, but the management issues have made it increasingly difficult to stay. I was turned away from an appointment due to Evergreen’s contract negotiations—a frustrating experience that was handled rudely by the front desk. After waiting months for a reschedule, I received a voicemail canceling my appointment yet again. Now, when trying to reschedule, I’m being pushed out more than three months, after already waiting over eight months to be seen. Evergreen Health, your patients deserve better. Please take accountability instead of placing the blame on the doctors.

Jeremy Papke I set up an appointment as a new patient with a well-reviewed PCP at Evergreen Health in Monroe. On the day of the appointment, I realized I didnt know which location to go to. I got no reminders or confirmation requests with that information, which I have gotten from most other providers Ive used. I called in and was told to go to the Medical building by the hospital. When I got there, I didnt see any signs for primary care so rang the bell at reception. No one came. Several minutes later a receptionist appeared at a different desk and she directed me to the building across the parking lot, 2nd floor. When I got there, there were no obvious indicators of where primary care was located. I saw only Urgent Care. Thinking they must practice out of the same office I went ahead and checked myself in. I told them i was there for a primary care visit and gave them the doctors name. When they called me back, I told the nurse practitioner why I was there and she informed me that those were primary care concerns, not urgent care. Primary care is on the other side of the building. It turns out when I didnt show up at primary care on time they considered me a no show and gave away my appointment. They couldnt fit me in for ANOTHER TWO MONTHS. They also said it "happens all the time" that someone will go to urgent care thinking its primary care. If this happens all the time, maybe its your fault and you should take some steps to fix it. Hey, I have some ideas: - Better signage - the one you have is tiny and a joke - Send reminders with the address, suite number and instructions to "go up the stairs then take two rights to get to PCP - dont go straight to urgent care" - Try calling or texting people if theyre late rather than just giving away their time slots. I mean, put in a little bit of effort, people - Train your urgent care receptionists to actually listen to people, and maybe check for appointments with other departments before checking into urgent care. Im baffled by how poorly this business is run. The medical care may be great...if you can actually get it! Ill let you know in two more months. Response from the owner 3 days ago "Hi Jeremy, thank you for sharing your experience. We are committed to providing you with the highest quality care and service, and we take your feedback very seriously. Please give us a call at (425) 899-2267 and a member of our patient relations team will be happy to speak with you." Two things: 1) Ive already made some suggestions to directly address my issue, which Im sure no one has read. 2) You have my contact information. Make the effort.

Cathy Herholdt Nurses are great, but the doctors here are all very odd and lack any confidence, making them seem not knowledgeable or capable. Zero bedside manner and very little professionalism. The hospital facility itself is nice and clean, but the ER is frequently packed and staff seems overwhelmed. We’ve only ever been seen by a PA in the ER. Never an MD. Seems like this is where the doctors who can’t get a job anywhere else work.

Holly Fife Had an incredible ER staff last night when my 14 year old had mysterious side pain. Everyone was so kind and helpful from the triage, nurses to the radiologist and surgeons! They listened to my kid and made some tough calls and had him in and out of surgery in hours! I cannot recommend them or thank them enough for keeping my kid safe and comfortable through it all.

Leslie Corbin DO NOT GO to the ER at Yakima Memorial Hospital. My 88 year old mother was having symptoms of a stroke and they asked her a few questions when we arrived and she was barely able to answer. We were sent to the waiting area even though her left leg pain was at a 10 and she was having chest pains. After waiting for around 45 minutes, with my mother in excruciating pain, I asked one of the admitting nurses who kept calling people back who had come in after us. Though I was not yelling at her, she yelled at me stating “we are not here to be yelled at - we are just doing our jobs.” And she continued to yell at me as she walked across the waiting room to the admitting desk. She came back a few minutes later, and very rudely told us that our room was being prepared for my mom. Once we were in a room, we waited an additional half hour before anyone came in to see her. The doctor seem very unconcerned. Even though I told him she had had a blood clot in her leg a few months before and had been seen at the hospital for it. Also, it was possible she may have doubled up on her cancer medication which could cause serious side effects , needless to say, when they finally came in to give my mother something for pain after she had gone and had other tests done, she flatlined and died. They were very callous about her death. This was on a Thursday night. Friday we were trying to go through all of Mom’s paperwork to find her insurance information. We didn’t know anything was open on the weekend to call and make arrangements. I received a call from the hospital late Sunday evening and was told that we needed to figure out what to do with our mother’s body because they had too many bodies in the morgue that needed to be taken care of. If I would’ve known, we would’ve had to wait so long I would’ve driven to Ellensburg or Toppenish. I will never take a loved one to Memorial Hospital again. I have talked to other people in the community that have had awful experiences and lost loved ones due to the level of care at this hospital. Something needs to be done!

Paula Mcgeary I took my husband to Multicare. He has been in this hospital 5 times this year but yesturday was very different. With congestive heart failure and many other problems. We waited over 5 hours to go to the back and were seen by the most unqualified doctor. Who asked my husband what do you want me to do? Didnt look at last charts to get familiar with his problems and offers a stage 4 kidney patient a diuretic and releases him. Didnt check him and acted like he didnt want to touch him. He was in such a hurry he didnt want to answer my questions. My husbands has been admitted every time he walks into a hospital but this time. He can take his pills and keep them as I will not give them to my husband and cause kidney failure.

Gabriella Aguirre Went to the ER last night. They were pretty busy so the wait was long. With only 1 hospital in yakima, thats to be expected. They did their best to see me as soon as they could. The nurses were nice and listened to what I had to say. The lady who came to draw my blood, she mustve been tired because she didnt do too great. I had to get poked a few times .. which for me has never happened before. And I got a ruptured blood vessel... ouch. It hurts. But it was done in the end. The doctor I saw was Dr. Paul Guernsey. & he was so nice. He explained things, had great people skills, and genuinely a nice dr. You could tell.

Marissa DeWeese Memorial has been the most horrendous, traumatizing experience every time we have had to go. From my mom coding, to my labor nurse yelling at me, to tonight when I had to take my child with a 103+ temperature to the ER and we were left the last ones in the waiting room. With no explanation as to why they cant take my LETHARGIC, DROOLING, CLEARLY ILL AND DEHYDRATED toddler into a room to be seen. Amd to be refused to have her temperature taken by the triage nurse on staff telling me "Im only one person". Yah Im sorry that the place you work for is so clearly incapable of hiring decent staff to take any sort of accountability or anything. Im so beyond angry. I hope for all of your sake that your children dont end up this ill EVER because your own coworkers could care less.

Mae Aldridge-Lane My husband was in the ER for about eight hours, no bad review on the facility because I totally understand how busy things get. I want to shot out to some excellent and above and beyond nurses in the ER and in ICU. Spencer and CJ in the ER were excellent. Their demeanor and care was far better than I ever expected in an emergency room. Now the ICU staff. Sara and I think she is a full-time staff nurse there, and Melissa a per deim nurse, had excellent bedside manners. Sara was a night nurse that did not let her, what I am sure I would’ve had, fatigue prevent her from being kind, considerate and informative. Thanks Sara. Now Melissa, was so kind and one that really used great nursing judgment and utilized her skills as a nurse well. She explained prior to performing any task, and followed up with needs. Thanks Melissa, you will be an excellent NP once you’ve completed your studies. I am not from Washington State but must say, I was very pleased overall with Auburn Medical. Thanks team!

Vance R Baker Low star because of one ER Nurse, Rosemarie. Rosemarie will act nice in the beginning but quickly change on You and transfer You to another Nurse. She has horrible customer service skills and is extremely rude!!! Hospital was nice and they took care of Us. Didn’t allow Us to leave until they made sure everything was safe. Casey and Geggrey, ER Nurses were Amazing!!! Although RoseMarie is no Saint!!! The other Nurses are Awesome!!!

Shelly Collins The nurses where fine and actually feel bad for what is happening to me. They do seem to have to waste a ton of time moving patients from one room to the other . So whom ever is in charge of this needed to be replaced. I have been moved 6 times in 5 days. Mostly between 1am and 3am . Rest is a key ingredient in getting well . That does not happen here. I am writing this from my hopefully last room . I went from quiet room to a loud room with a old lady hacking up mucus and talking to herself I think . I am not pleased with my experience. I have been here in the past and new had any of these issues. Super frustrating as a normally ez peasy patient. It take a lot for me to complain . But this is a shit show . Rm 461

Dillon Tierney My spouse was admitted for gallbladder removal and pancreatitis. Since she needed to pump, her first room was in the maternity ward. Right away, a white nurse assumed she had diabetes just because her bloodwork showed low glucose—even though she had been fasting for two days due to being unable to keep food down. This assumption had nothing to do with her actual medical condition and everything to do with racial stereotyping, as she is Indigenous and brown. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only incident. In the surgical unit, another white nurse treated her with the same racial bias. Later, she was moved to a different room, which had a picture of a brown child on the wall and Spanish-language materials, as if her appearance alone determined she didn’t speak English. A staff member even mentioned they were expecting a patient who spoke Spanish but then realized my wife wasn’t the one they assumed. So, they moved her again—forcing her to endure unnecessary pain simply because of their racist assumptions. The actions of your staff were not just offensive but physically harmful. My wife was already suffering, and instead of receiving proper care, she was subjected to racial profiling that led to unnecessary distress and pain. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and no patient should have to go through it.

No reason to have a mediocre job and still answer the phone with poor attitude. It’s always the medical field. Wild.

Semra Qazi If this is your first time coming to this place I’d suggest camping out the day before to avoid being late or ask for a tour in advance. Also don’t except them to care about their patients because they DO NOT CARE I have been trying to schedule an appointment here since JUNE as I am in need for a new PCP and this is the closest clinic to my house that takes my insurance. I finally got an appointment in for today, September 5. My appt was at 9:45 I left the house at 9:00 the check in was at 9:30 on my way to the appt. there was an accident right by the light to turn in so I called the number given in the MyChart and no one answered as i was put on hold for about 10 minutes. Finally I got in the center and parked in the garage after struggling to find a spot. The place is so big I accident went to the wrong building and got lost. I had 3 different staff members and a doctor walk me over to the correct building. I even told the doctor helping me how I’m running late bc I got lost and she said “don’t worry just tell them you got lost, you’ll be fine” When I finally made it to the actual office building by 10:01 the lady at the front desk said sorry the doctor can’t see me because I missed the grace period by ONE MINUTE. I asked if she could call the doctor to see if he could still get me in explaining to her how I got lost and how there was an accident on my way here and that I tried calling. She didn’t care enough to mention ANY of that when calling the doctor. I cannot believe doctor HAMZEH SALTI (who is a resident) did not see me because I missed the grace period by one minute when I had exhausted all the resources to get there on time from my end. I left the clinic in tears crying out of frustration knowing I can’t see the next available pcp until another 6 weeks.

Michael Diep Horrible care and service. They will prevent you from getting medicine that you’ve been taking for 5+ years unless you consent to them constantly running tests on you. They rotate doctors out as fast as you replace your toilet paper and the doctors that leave are the only ones that understand. They want to charge up your insurance and copay to line their greedy pockets. Find another primary care. As this one is a complete scam. Also avoid Dr K Lucifer at all cost

In the meantime Ive already had to go to emergency once because of the atrophy on my arm that turned into an abscess, Ill have to go back. Dr Walsh got mad at me because Im almost deaf and couldnt understand what she was saying so we had an argument and shes at a hair up her butt ever since and refuse to see me until sometime here in September. My primary care physician he quit after I went to emergency care. Im going to find a new doctor somewhere somehow sometime because I dont think this place is even fit to take a dog to!!!!!!
