KEVIN BRYAN My Mother was treated for a stroke after being life flighted from Corvallis. Thanks to the hospitals quick action they operated very quickly to remove a blood clot and she made remarkable recovery. All the Drs, Nurses and support staff were absolutely top notch. They really took great care of her. Especially during a strike. All the people who came from out of state were a credit to their profession. The Doctors kept us informed and were compassionate and attentive to her needs. The Food was awesome! So fresh and still hot when delivered. Plenty of great choices for every meal of the day. Overall a fantastic experience. Thank you all.

Jay Elle Surgeon Gary Ott chastised me for wearing a mask by showing me some papers stapled together that he said PROVES masks dont work. I told him there were signs throughout HIS hospital to wear a mask if you were compromised which I am. Gary would not let me take the paper home (I asked) so I snapped a quick pic of the cover page. Doing my own research I found a lot of this paper has been debunked years ago! No wonder he didnt want me to take it home and he was surprised I got a photo of it! After blowing toxic sunshine up my bum, he handed me his phone and asked me to read what was on it... Im feeling nervous because I had to be downstairs at a certain time to catch my Ride To Care ride. So I played ball and began to read what was on his phone when Gary said to me, "ALOUD!!!" I could not believe this man wanted to me to read scripture from the Bible out loud to him. I played ball because this AH was going to have a knife in my chest a few weeks later. This entire experience has played havoc on my mental health and I have not been back to see him once in the six months since my surgery. I will never see that man again!!! And his scheduler, Carol C, was a real piece of work telling me "just Uber to the store" if I didnt have any help because I did not qualify for rehab. She told me to have a Plan B. She was rude and condescending and apparently under the guise that I could afford to take Ubers back-and-forth to the grocery store. Now I wonder how she thought I was going to manage at the grocery store considering the limits Id have after open heart surgery???!!! Shes not very smart or helpful!!

Greg & Melody Herbert This incident is something we witnessed while our daughter was being seen in the ER. There was a woman in the hall next to reception in a wheelchair who was yelling. We first heard staff tell her they would not help her if she did not get out of the wheelchair. She did not get up, so they did not help her. She sat in that chair, alternately passed out or screaming from pain in her feet, for the whole two hours we were there. We managed to get a look at her feet, and they were completely black. The only time we heard staff even talk about her was when we overheard security making fun of her. I just can’t go to a hospital that can be so callous to someone obviously in need of assistance.

Jennifer Pereda My 9 year old and I have been waiting for over 2 hours since being referred by his Pediatricians office to go to the ER. I understand priority, but my kiddo is actively throwing up in the ER and cannot stand or walk bc of the pain he is in. We were told to come here, they can see he is in enormous pain and they still have no room for him?! This is insane. How can this place be so poorly run to the point that a case like his is not priority? This shouldnt be acceptable.

Kristine Wirta This is so sad. I grew up going to this hospital, as did my entire family. What happened?????. I did have a friend with bad respiratory problems and thank God Lauren M from the RT department was there to help her. L. M is very compassionate, knowledgeable and full of heart. We could all learn from and her love for humanity. This hospital has the ability to be great.....again one day. But not at the rate its going.

Marci Lynn We have visited Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, almost every day, this past week. Some days for happy reasons like visiting babies, and also for an emergency. Every single staff member we have come in contact with has been excellent! They are very professional, compassionate, and friendly! The facility is very clean and organized! The security is also very good.

Donald Hillis Ok so I have to say this rating has nothing to do with the Staff , everything to do with staffing. My daughter was trampled by horses. It took 7.5 hours and still waiting to find out what the X-rays and ct scans say. We are literally sitting in a hallway and have been for 2 hours after being taken from the lobby where we were for 5.5 hours. Its absolutely bs that they can’t move through groups of patients ; which I’m sure is do to a lack of staff. I would love to know how many doctors are on duty in the er tonight. It’s crazy that this is what our healthcare system is: BROKEN

Aya R Dont even contact here. I wanted to make an appointment with pediatric orthopedic, but the receptionist (Holley) was very rude, saying " Im not sure we see that kind of injury. I will call you back." without asking my phone number and hang up. My daughter has grade 3 turf toe and other bone issue that needs to be seen Dr, but how come the receptionist diagnose it????????? I called her back and she hang up! Stay away from here.

Teresa Johnson On 3/10/25, I was transported via ambulance to the legacy Salmon Creek emergency room. I was experiencing severe chest pain. Blood test and CT scan were done. However since that date, I have learned that the most definitive method to determine heart attack is to test for troponin in the blood. That test was not taken for some unknown reason. This is sad and potentially deadly error. The patient should not be responsible to know what tests are needed in a medical emergency. The doctors should be more responsible and thorough.

April Allen Love Dr Wilmington ! We have been going to him since my kids were infants and he’s always so comfortable for us and the kids even having conversation conversations that could be considered uncomfortable. He’s always very thorough. Make sure the boys have a very clear understanding of their bodies, their health and their choices. He never recommend something that he doesn’t think would be helpful to them and he always leaves it up to their parents, which is great not feeling pressured. He is absolutely wonderful.

Cascadia Views I will start off by saying I have a health condition that sends me to the hospital/urgent care a couple times a year. I have been thoroughly unimpressed with the quality and professionalism Ive experienced in Vancouver. Its been shocking, to be honest. I found myself needing medical attention again. I decided to try the Legacy Salmon Creek folks, because I didnt want to re-visit any of the places Ive been to previously. What a change! I mean, the ER was packed, so I spent hours just sitting there. Im not mad. Its our new insurance system posing as a healthcare system. But, they were processing people as quick as they could and did their best to assure us they were on top of things. The nurses were professional and everyone I talked to seem to really listen to me. I wont say going to the hospital is a good experience, but they did a good job of making suck less. Also.....a nice clean building!

Timothy Cole I’d have to make a list that would be too long for this forum. In short, I suffered a critical situation and instead of the dr focusing on the fallout and help moving forward, they wanted to focus on past details that weren’t necessarily important. I’m sure they thought these details were important and they were easiest for them to latch on to and focus on instead of the help and pain management I desperately needed. I lightly voiced my opinion to a staff member, they lied and falsely accused me of something I didn’t do. Hard to tell if the practice is overwhelmed or poorly managed. I suspect a bit of both unfortunately. Find a different provider if possible.

Campbell Brown I would be very cautious coming here. I suffered a very scary health concern and went to the ER in March. They referred me here. Dr. Foley did not feel that me losing my ability to see, hear, or move my body temporarily warranted an urgent referral. When I asked if they would please document in my chart that they didnt feel this was urgent, they decided update my referral to urgent and ended care with me. So youre not allowed to tell providers here that you dont feel cared about. THEY TRULY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU as a human being here.

Idahotwin Went for a physical 04/26/22. The doctor and I talked about a COVID booster shot but I never got one. They billed Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Employee program for it with a service date 05/16/22 ( I wasnt at the doctor office on 05/16/22). I called the billing department of Legacy as well as the Family Medicine Dept as well as Blue Cross many times. Just got the EOB from Blue Cross. They changed the date of service to 04/26/22 and it appears Blue Cross still paid the $60.47 for a booster I never received. After many calls Im done. It is Blue Cross Federal that didnt follow through yet Im very upset at Legacy Family Medicine for their billing and accepting payment. Perhaps Legacy paid back the $60.47 but is doesnt appear so. With that I would have to say the doctors, nurses, and PAs I have come in contact with are excellent.

Kitty Wallace For the last few weekends Ive had to visit this urgent care for a incision rebandaging (surgery related). I have had a wonderful experience with the check in desk and nurses. I never have to wait long and yes maybe my definition is different than others but I never make an appointment and and I check google first to see if they are busy. I feel this urgent care is a very comfortable place to go and since its the holiday I would like to also say that they have the best decorations in the waiting room.

Meredith L I am a 74 year old who needed a wound sewn up. The internet allowed me to make an appointment and my husband drove me to the appointment because I can’t drive in the dark. When I got there, the receptionist told me I couldn’t be seen because I had Medicare insurance and no supplements. I said that I did have a supplemental insurance. I was then told I couldn’t receive care. I told them I would pay cash. They said it was a state law that I couldn’t pay cash if I had Medicare! This sounds bogus to me. I think what they really mean is that they can’t charge me anymore than what Medicare would allow . If I had a pet with a wound needing to be sewn up the vet would let me pay cash! I’ve been denied medical treatment by this clinic even though I was willing to pay cash. Don’t go to this clinic. They only are concerned with how much money they can charge you!

A Dubz I have been trying to get someone to help me ALL DAY. I called the Vancouver clinic to get some answers about a form FMLA is requesting regarding my visit. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and was out of work for a few weeks. FMLA requested a form for my doctor to which my doctor said I have to come in and get re-evaluated if I wanted FMLA for more than one week. The Vancouver clinic transfer me to battleground for some reason and when I was asking why I need to come in and pay them more money to be re-evaluated when Ive been back to work for weeks. They could not give me an answer and so the lady hung up on me. Very unprofessional and I will not be coming back to their clinic.

Images reviews: Urgent Care | Vancouver Clinic Salmon Creek 2

(76) Reviews Urgent Care | Vancouver Clinic Salmon Creek 2:

John Breen They are not Urgent Care in terms of billing your insurance. They are a "Stand Alone" facility and will bill your insurance as a "Office Visit" not urgent care. Took our daughter in who was sick and she was swabbed for strep & flu. They billed us toward deductible near $700 and we owed over half of that after insurance. We went to Urgent Care knowing that our insurance allows a lower cost Co Pay but they are playing games. They have Urgent Care all over the place but will not bill as urgent care. This is complete false advertising and based on the other reviews saying the same, one should take this to KGW Investigates.
1 /5
Taylor Polan This facility is NOT an actual urgent care, despite the large "urgent care" sign on their building. If your insurance covers urgent care visits, this place will not be covered. They openly admit they “care for people urgently” but legally cannot bill as an urgent care facility—because they are not one. So why advertise themselves as such? It’s misleading at best, and at worst, another example of the medical industry taking advantage of people. To make matters worse, the front desk staff misrepresented our coverage. When we arrived, we specifically asked them to check our insurance, and they confirmed that urgent care was covered with a $5 co-pay. We were charged the $5, assumed everything was fine, and proceeded with treatment. We later received a bill in the four-figure range because, surprise—this facility isnt actually an urgent care and doesnt bill as one. We did everything we could to verify coverage, but because of their deceptive branding and misinformation from their own staff, we’re now stuck with an outrageous bill. If they can’t legally bill as an urgent care, they shouldn’t be calling themselves one. And if their staff doesnt even understand their own billing practices, how can patients be expected to? If you’re considering going here, double-check with your insurance first—or better yet, go to a real urgent care that doesn’t play games with your wallet.

Ashley Soy I’m visiting the area from out of town and came by because I was experiencing terrible ear pain. All of the staff (front desk, nurses, doctor, etc) were extremely friendly and kind. They patiently listened while I listed my symptoms and were able to give me the first pill of the antibiotic I’ll be picking up tomorrow so that it would start kicking in to relieve my pain. Will definitely go here again if we’re in need of urgent care!

Luke O’Flannigan Front desk was definitely under qualified to check people in. I handed her my daughter’s insurance card immediately. And then she started typing things on the computer and asked me if she could see my daughter’s insurance card? It was in her hand? The nurse was okay but rushed through things and didn’t have any bedside manner whatsoever. The doctor came in thinking my daughter was a boy. And also had terrible bedside manner and just seemed to be in a rush. I get its urgent care and working in healthcare is hard. But this was poor service. I love my pediatrician for my daughter through Vancouver clinic. But honestly thinking of switching to a new one. The nurses and check in staff have all been rude or to be blunt kind of stupid.

Edward Stratton Columbia River Mental Health is a Medicaid meat farm. They had one mental health provider - in their 80s - who was available to meet in person. That didnt work out, and they placed me with a virtual therapist from Louisiana, all while charging me full price for a lesser service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you have private insurance.

Rich Johnson Why are we having a mental health crisis in this country? Look no further. State health care funnels their customers to this "health care facility" and they proceed to absolutely wreak people in their care. My wife lost her 29 year old son unexpectedly and was absolutely destroyed. After waiting weeks just to land a intake and another few weeks to see a counselor he proceeded to tell her that I, her husband, was enabling her. Read this again.. my wives son was dead and I was enabling her. She went back a year later as she was still dealing with heavy depression. The second time around they put her with another counselor but due to constant cancellations on their end she logged one session ( which involved zero input from the counselor) in a several month span. Then they let her know the new counselor was moving along. At this point they went to schedule her with the first counselor! Yes she had informed them she didnt want to see him at the second intake due to his comments. Their board of directors are all either paid very well, are involved at the major hospitals in the area, state rep, the sheriff, or another clinic that makes a business of "helping" people on state health care. So are the directors that arent pulling a salary not profiting as well? Read the reviews people..this place should be shut down.

I never received a phone call or any kinda communication. I had to travel a hour and a half to get there on top of it all. 3 hours of my day wasted. Thanks for nothing.

Remy Watts Ive seen the negative reviews of this place, but Ive always had a positive experience. The dentists here are knowledgeable and helpful, and they dont push you to do anything that is unnecessary (like a lot of dentists are known to do nowadays). Eric Brown When my current therapist was on paternity leave earlier this year, I was referred to Dr. Debbie Patton at this clinic. Bull. The front desk lady is rude and unhelpful and also apparently the manager is never in.

Carolina Lopez If I could give this place zero stars i totally would. I took my newborn baby to his first appointment on Monday the 25th and they asked me to sign in so the can check him in. We arrived 20 mins before his appointment time and we waited 15 min past his appointment and we noticed that people who were just arriving were being called but not my son. I went to the front desk and asked how much longer until he was seen just to find out he was never checked in and now the has to rush to create him a chart and try to make it in time for the provider to see him. Almost and hour later he was seen and the MA was afraid to even grab my sons leg to measure him properly to the point where he put in my son’s chart that he measured less than what he did at birth not sure how that is possible. After being seen by the pediatrician she asked to see him again in 2 days which brings us to today November 27. We arrived at the clinic with plenty of time before his appointment and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by this lady who right off the bat gave us a nasty attitude. She asked us to sign in and I let her know that I wasn’t going to sign in because last time I did that he was not checked in and was just forgotten she then advised me that if I didn’t sign in my son was not going to be seen. She then had no choice but to check us in and told us that my we would have to wait an hour for my son to have a single nurse visit just for them to check on his weight. We ended just leaving as this had been such a horrible experience and would never be returning back to this location for any reason. I had never been to a Seamar location with horrible customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST THEY ARE SERIOUSLY THE WORST

Christina Storm No option to give zero stars but thats exactly what they deserve. I took my soon for his first appointment as a new patient. I made the appt on the 27th for the 28th. I was so happy to able to get him in so quickly. Given the fact it was for the next day I repeated the date and time back to the person scheduling the appointment just to be sure and she confirmed with a "yes". I said great well see you tomorrow. The next day the 28th, as we were driving to the appt I decided to call and make sure we had the correct address and again confirmed his appt was today, which was answered with another "yes". When we showed up 20 minutes later and even 10 minutes early for his appointment we were then told his appointment was for the next day. How can that be??? I confirmed it twice. We live almost an hour away from this location. Not that easy to make the trip into town and now for no reason. I decided to call another Sea Mar location and to my surprise they told me that indeed my sons appointment was made on the 27th for the 28th. The woman behind the counter straight up lied to our face. She almost made me question myself that maybe I had heard the date wrong but now I know I was right. How dare they treat people like this. Stay clear of this location if possible. Ive read in other reviews of this exact situation happening multiple times. They dont care what inconvenience this makes on anyone.

Tara Watkins If I could give y’all a negative one I would but I can’t. The family birth center sucks y’all need to listen to the parents more. We know when our bodies are ready to give birth. Your Degree will never tell you as much as I can tell you about my body. This is very sad disappointing, Y’all need better staff and better training. Your food is ass. Y’all have no taste. The fact that it took a man speaking for y’all to listen is diabolical. It’s sad to me That some mothers have a traumatic experience/birth due to their doctors, not listening. Your nurses are a 10 out of 10, but your doctor stank. That’s why you’re built like a Vending machine sitting outside of Walmart.. DO BETTER

Emily Simpson I was taken by ambulance last night to PH and they told me I had the flu with no testing, just looking at me. I was incontinent and my stomach pain was unbearable. I needed fluids and something for the nausea. They told me the waiting room was full of people like me and it would be an 8 hour wait. They put me in a chair and I asked them not to because I was afraid of fainting and falling out of the chair. I had fainted off my toilet from the diarrhea and throwing up with no fluids earlier, for hours. They told me to "act like a grown-up and sit up in the chair." I was pushed to the waiting room and I asked for water and the nurses said no. I literally sat in a less than 1/3 full waiting room pooping myself. No one else was as sick as me or in that condition. The nurses said they couldnt help me for flu. Which I didnt have. No fever, no body aches and Ive never vomited while having the flu, I have no sore throat or stuffed nose. I am beyond disappointed in Peacehealth. Yall were disgusting this morning. The nurse that told me to sit and didnt care if I fainted, shame on you. You are disgusting. This was not a cry for help, I actually needed help. I know Im not the only one getting treated like this. Shame on you! I had my son delivered there. Ive brought my daughter in for help many times and the group of nurses there last night, you need to find another profession and how to read a room and actually check on patients.

Tara Nelissen Leaving yet another 1 star review. My husband went to this ER for extreme testicular pain. He was told there were NO WHEELCHAIRS available. That is unacceptable. He was told there were no doctors working from 4am to 8am. There was only 3 nurses working from 3am to 8am. It is ILLEGAL for nurses to perform emergency surgeries and many other procedures. There were two females whom my husband spoke with who were patients who were there hours before he got there that didn’t receive emergency care. One who had INTERNAL BLEEDING and the other with 3rd degree burns on her thighs and arm. I’ve called and left a formal complaint as well as through the website you see in the review replies. This hospital emergency department lacks attention. For years you see bad reviews with comments about the staff and how it operates. And people threatening to sue. Why after YEARS of it being in this state is there NO CHANGE. I can only imagine how people have sued them. Don’t respond to this review about talking to patient services because I have. Make some damn changed so you stop KILLING people.

alicia magana Went in with chest pain. Was asked to leave while still having chest pain. ZERO pain medication received, including Tylenol. One Xray, Lab tests, and 2 EKGs done. Then basically thrown out by charge RN, because I asked for Toradol (NOT A NARCOTIC) one too many times, I guess. You’re not allowed to speak up for yourself, meaning don’t you dare ask for pain medicine (even non narcotic meds) for your 9/10 CHEST PAIN. Oh yeah, I did get the baby aspirin (per protocol) which the nurse could not even bother to put into a med cup. Btw…… Never saw an MD, even the DR ordered the tests, and I never received the results of my tests (again, before being thrown out by the charge nurse). Those people (the nurses and DRs included) ARE NOT THERE TO HELP PEOPLE. THEY ARE THERE FOR A PAYCHECK.

Jamie Blakley I usually experience a bad time in our ER anytime I have to go, including nurses treating me horribly while I was in the middle of a miscarriage. I had to go today however, Dr Theodore Thomas saw me and for the first time ever I was treated with respect, and kindness. The wait was long but I actually received care, so it was worth it.

Michelle Bean Had my appendix out recently. The ER was packed, it took about 5 hours to get called back. To be fair, I had no fever and my symptoms were only vomiting and severe stomach pain. The PA was kind and quick to order nausea and pain meds along with bloodwork and CT scans to quickly diagnose appendicitis. The nurses in the ER were excellent, kind, efficient and prompt to respond. My pre-op nurse was amazing! I felt calm and well taken care of in a stressful situation. The surgeon was excellent, confident and explained everything well. My only complaint is I wouldve liked to stay overnight after surgery. My surgeon had given me the impression I could do that but the post op nurse I had was eager to get me out the door. I know it may seem odd to want to stay but some people have busier homes than others and I couldve used the rest. I think thats the norm now anyway, get people out of the building, but I have good insurance and sometimes people have been through a lot already, leading up to surgery.

Gretchen Sancere My dad went in for Afib. We were there 7 hours. I asked the nurse to please give my dad something to eat. He was starving and not diet restricted. She was so rude!!!! Acually argued with me about how long he was there and telling me that she just came on shift and he was just going to have to wait. I asked if I could go get him something and she rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Horrible, scary time for us and she treated us like we were an inconvenience. I was afraid to ask her for a blanket for my dad. It’s like this every time we’ve had to go there

Wayne Hall I was for a very long time the most critical person of St. Johns Hospital. I have avoided using it and drove pass to get to Vancouver, up until 1 1/2 years ago. Since then, I have had several tests/procedures that has changed my opinion. Although not serious or life threating, my experiences have been outstanding. The teams that cared for me during these procedures have been wonderful. Well done to the latest team of Kelly, Kim, Breanna and Ann Lynn. The card mailed to me was a special touch. Thanks for making it a pleasant experience. p.s. The ER is another story. There has to be a benchmark facility that can be used as a "best practice". I waited 6 hours in the ER and finally left and traveled to Vancouver and got superior care, quickly.

Jennifer Day ER physician was great! Had surgery and I was really pleased with the care I received. Friendly, knowledgeable and they did a great job fixing multiple severe fractures that were dislocated. I was scared but they made sure I was calm and answered all of my questions.Dr Jake McLeod performed the surgery and I never once doubted his competence.

Rebecca G This place is not where you should go to ER. Ive been here for damn 4 hours, and still, Dr. does not come! It is beyond disgusting since we pay alot alot alot to Dr and they cant friggin go fast. It is an ER for crissake! Plus, this town is so small, and they still cant even hurry. I have dogs at home that need to peeeeeee!!!!!! Never will I go this place ever again! The nurses even chatted and laughed and are not even working! What kind of hosp is this!

D Reynolds The emergency waiting room was chaotic with sick kids screaming and full of people with issues. The various intake people, receptionist, triage nurse, and registration were excpellent. Everything happened fairly quickly, (maybe within 15 min), and then we waited another 10 to be taken to a room. The hospital and the staff are absolute professionals and we deeply appreciate their work and dedication! The emergency doctor was spread thin but spectacularly kind, quick, and very through, and she explained our questions. Thank you. The basic issue in WA it seems, is that there are not enough doctors for the served population, so things can get a bit slow.

Kit Blake I have been here more times then I care for, and each time felt completely disrespectful and like a waste. They will make you sit in the waiting room for hours, regardless of the ailment or how busy they are, charge ridiculously high fees, ignore your existence when you do finally get rooms, and are just straight rude to patience. My last experience, we showed up at 6pm, and werent able to leave until early morning the next day. She wasnt given a room until 10:40pm, which we sat in for an obnoxiously long time. While in this room, we hear an older man a few rooms down, yelling for help, only to be ignored for minutes, and when they finally came to him, they were completely rude and nasty to him. All the while, you can clearly hear other nurses and doctors chatting and laughing outside. Overall, I wouldnt recommend anyone to this ER/ hospital.

Riot Zenkner If I could rate our experience early this morning as a negative I would. My son was urinating blood starting at 1230 am, we reached the ER by 12:45 am and were left waiting in the ER waiting room for 3 hours they took a urine screen and ultrasound of his testicles during that wait, then when we were placed in a room finally the nurse came in once when we entered the room and only came back in to check when I hit the call light after another hour of waiting and didnt seem to have much care what so ever, 2 hours later and the doctor still couldnt give my son the time of day. We left at 530 this morning without being seen. Will be going to capital medical center if any other emergencies arise. Absolute shame on them for the lack of bedside manner or care for their patients.

K N Sadly our family has used the services here multiple times. The staff here are very compassionate and do everything they can with limited resources. We actually go a little farther to come here rather than the larger hospital in olympia because of the staff. I only gave 4 stars because their resources are limited. 5 stars for the staff!

DENNIS WEBSTER These other reviewers must be nuts. Dr.Aranda-Michel is rated No.1 in the country by U.S. News. for a reason. Being best of the best is hard to beat. His surgery crew is Top Notch. His nurse Tatyana is incredibly smart. Diagnosed Vitamin B deficiency and hours later Quest lab verified. Spoken with receptionist several times and enjoyed the interaction every time. Its a busy office so get over it.

Raemaris Glenn Maybe this place should look into getting rid of Melissa first. The attitude is unreal. My father is having trouble after surgery and no doctor has called us back. We were told by the staff that she was getting off in 6 minutes so nothing she could really do. All this could have been prevented if the staff and Dr. actually cared. Doctors take an oath to treat everyone with respect and to provide care to their patients. I took that oath and I would never treat my patients like this.

Aaron Smith Called to schedule an appointment after getting referred. I understand being booked out but the woman who answered the phone said “we are booked until the end of time” was absolutely floored that anyone would say that to a prospective patient. Haven’t even been there and wouldn’t recommend this place.

Brooklyn This place is rated 1 star for a reason!! DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT GASTROENTEROLOGY. I came here after my PCP helped me more than they should for my IBS-C. I came here because they are supposed to help people with gastro problems. The PA I saw, Sarah Gale, told me she was not familiar with Trulance, literally one of the most commonly prescribed drugs for IBS C. She asked me "what I wanted her to do at this point" after going through my history with her and the things I have tried. This was the biggest waste of time and money and it made me feel really hopeless and un heard They also will not fill out any form of paperwork for your work, not FMLA, not State paid leave, not accommodation paperwork, nothing. I have NEVER had a doctor deny this and it is unethical. Do not go here.

Jane S. Do NOT go to this facility for medical care. The Triage nurse goes against Drs orders to delay colonoscopies greatly increasing the likelihood you will get colon cancer and die. Got a referral for a family members colonoscopy (from PCP). Patient has high risk for colon cancer (family members had it, he has polyps every time one is done, getting a colonoscopy and removing polyps prevents colon cancer so it is critical to get these done on time). Past colonoscopy results, based on polyps found, said do a colonoscopy every 3-4 years and one was due when the referral was done. Susan (a triage nurse) has and is refusing to move forward to get a colonoscopy, not even setting up a Drs appointment (always done first), despite the patient being a high risk colon cancer person. Excuses are flimsy and meaningless and opposite of what current Drs are saying: Examples: - He is getting a cardiology test (routine tests are done every year to monitor a cardiology "wait and see" condition) so we dont do them. This is not "new symptoms are happening and there is concern, this is a routine annual test. - He might be taking blood thinners in the near future that can not be stopped so we need to wait a year (he has been on blood thinners for over 10 years with successful outpatient colonoscopies done every 3-4 years during that time, they are paused for the colonoscopy then resumed afterwards - stroke risk is very low and cardiologists supports this), - He has heart conditions (that she could not pronounce and obviously didnt know what they were or she would have used the laypersons term) so he has to have his colonoscopy in a hospital not as an an outpatient (successful outpatient colonoscopies have been done several times already). It is now 3 months since the referral. The interventionist (main) cardiologist told her in writing a few days ago that the colonoscopy needs to be done in the next month as they want to do a procedure at that time (new technology so there is a higher chance they can successfully correct his heart condition) but did say "if medically necessary" (he doesnt tell tell other departments how to do their work, he lets their Drs say that). Being at a high risk for colon cancer and colonoscopies preventing colon cancer sure sounds like medically necessary to use but a gastroenterology Dr needs to make that call (based on previous colonoscopies and polyp sizes found) and Susan has refused to set up that appointment (always the first step to getting a colonoscopy). Susans response was to immediately "close" the referral "because he might be on blood thinners for a year". We called and stated clearly to her that he has been on blood thinners for 10 years [with regular colonoscopies while on blood thinners, they are temporarily stopped and started back up afterwards with the cardiologists blessing]. We stated that he likely will no longer be on blood thinners after his procedure. She then read the heart condition diagnoses [she cant pronounce it and obviously didnt know what it was or she would have used the laypersons terms] and said the colonoscopy would have to be done in a hospital not as an outpatient. The cardiologist did not say this needed to be done, he has had several outpatient procedures and surgeries in the last few months to prepare for the upcoming surgery. Again, Susan is making a decision on something she has no knowledge about instead of letting the cardiology Drs and a gastroenterologist Dr determine what should be done. During this 3 months, we have pushed Susan saying what is the point of delaying things for cardiology to do their things [without even asking cardiology if a colonoscopy can be done] and end up with stage 4 colon cancer [and likely die]. She just continued to drag on even asking a cardiologist if it was safe to do a colonoscopy. Find another center to do your colonoscopy rather than here. I knew someone who had colon cancer - a nasty experience with life long complications if you are lucky enough to survive. And so easily avoided.
