Ron Macarty My wife was instructed by her M.D. to go to the ER due to the fact that he could not see her within 4 hours and she needed to be seen. After arriving at the ER at this hospital we were very impressed. The environment was very clean and organized and the staff here was very kind and attentive to her needs. We were beyond impressed with the level of care that she received and highly this facility to anyone in need

V McLean Fantastic ER Doctor!! Very thorough and compassionate. So thankful for the wonderful care. Room was blowing cold air -why 4 star instead of 5. Nurses were great about warm blankets. My husband moved his chair away from cold air and sat by door. Keep up the good work! We sure appreciate all the medical staff & what they do for others. May God protect you all!

Jan Rannow Everyone was great. Each person that I came in contact with was friendly, considerate, respectful and professional. I felt very confident that I was in good hands. The doctor and the anesthesiologist both spoke with me before the procedure. I received the results soon after. Thank you to all involved.

They were all great Saint Elizabeth is always great. The gal at the chicken when I checked in and I think it was around Five or 6 o’clock she’s always great. I’ve dealt with her before she’s cordial. Allen Wyse Picked up prescription on 12/23/20. Failing to read the large signs at the front door, we entered the lobby and were greeted by a gentleman who directed us to park on the side of the building in a pickup stall. Everyone in the lobby, including the kaiser greeter wore masks and were properly distant in the small wait area. Once in the stall we called the number on the sign. After identifying ourselves we were transferred to a pharmacist who reviewed our prescription. A Kaiser employee brought our prescription to us minutes later. Well done, Kaiser.

Sayed Reza Hashimi I’ve had my blood drawn at this facility twice, and both times I experienced significant issues that I feel need to be addressed. After my first blood draw, the area where the needle was inserted turned black and bruised, covering about an inch of my skin. Additionally, the process was unusually painful. I initially ignored it, thinking it might have been a one-time mistake. However, during my recent visit, the same issue occurred again, and it was the same person performing the procedure. The process was just as painful as the first time, and I believe this indicates a lack of proper technique or professionalism, as I’ve never experienced this issue elsewhere. I’m attaching a photo for reference. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to ensure better training or care in performing blood draws.

Marvin Sinderman I recently had a full knee replacement surgery at St. Anthony Hospital to take advantage of robotic instrumentation. Facility is new giving off good vib. Check in was a snap. Staff was great, efficient, informative, friendly and caring. I was able to leave the same day only after ensuring I understood how and when to take my medication and demonstrating I was able to walk. Very good experience

Melissa My partner had a procedure here after his ER experience. His procedure was punctual and quick without any hiccups. Staff were extremely friendly and very communicative/responsive. They took wonderful care of him which what was most important. The hospital facility is also well kept and comfortable.

Kendra Spohr Every guy doctor and nurse (day or night) in the ER are very nice, treat you like a human being in pain, and do their best to communicate. Every woman is TERRIBLE; Desk/nurse/doctor they bring a new level to “desensitized”. They are dismissive and quick to not listen but pretend to hear you. I’d recommend another hospital because as much as the guys are nice, they can’t make up for the lack of human decency from the girls.
2 /5
Phoebe Drummond They wouldn’t listen to me at all and said I was only in there for weed use when I told them I have the flu and my son was right behind me puking. I am a home care Aide and I got sick from my client but when I brought that up they said they could only test me for the flu if I could give them a stool sample (that is completely untrue) and when I also brought up the fact they will need an ultrasound machine to find my veins they wouldn’t listen to me either. Never going back here. Would rather drive to Bellevue or renton than be seen here again! Do better St. Anthony’s because no one likes your hospital anymore

Stan Urbas I "visited" St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, WA in order to have a total knee replacement with robotic assist on my right knee .I cant tell much about the surgery itself because I was in dreamland for the whole procedure. However I do know that with the robotic assist it was completed in roughly half the time allocated. The staff conducting the procedure was very efficient and helpful They answered any and questions I had and made sure I was comfortable as possible. Afterward the surgeon (Dr. Hadi) visited with my wife and explained how everything went and what the outlook was. My post-operation experience was very comfortable and uneventful. I was able to go home that afternoon to begin my recovery.

Nicole Henderson Its expensive. And youll probably have to wait a while. But dont take that out on AFC Urgent Care - thats the fault of the American healthcare system. As far as the things that these folks CAN control - they do it well. My husband and I walked-in for his persistent sweats, fever, and developing cough. Dr. Becca ran comprehensive yet reasonable tests to help determine the root cause. Even though one of the swabs wouldnt be able to give a definitive answer in 2 days, she made logical guesses as to how to treat his condition and prescribed cost-effective and efficacious antibiotics. After the fact, she was able to confirm her diagnosis with help from the radiologist. Good folks here doing the best they can. Thanks for helping my husband to feel better, Dr. Becca.

J W Thank you to patty and Jackson! The doctor wrote a prescription and sent it to the pharmacy. The pharmacy told me insurance won’t cover it, and they’re waiting for a response from the doctor. Well, it’s a walk in clinic. So I called AFC back and told them the problem. They had the doctor on duty at the time rewrite the reaction and sent it to a different pharmacy. Patty and Jackson mentioned with goodrx the prescription would be $30. So instead of going back and forth with the doctors and insurance, these two lovely people saved me time and money and the hassle. Thank you so much for helping me resolve the issue so promptly and saved me a lot of money. They went the extra step even though it wasn’t part “of their job duties”. Thank you guys!!! I will recommend this place!!

Future Goddess I’ve only ever had good experiences here. Brought my cat here for the first time a few months ago because we suspected something was wrong with him. Turned out to be feline diabetes. We got him on insulin now and everything is going much better. Any time we go in for an appointment all the staff are so nice. I felt like the vet really listened to me on the last visit when I was concerned about the glucose monitor on my cat. We talked through it which I really appreciate.

Kelly Ham I am reviewing this for my mother. I have medical advocacy for her, which is clearly stated in her records. She was hospitalized for five days at Saint Claire’s Hospital, which is a long ways away from our house due to it being the only hospital bed available for her. My issue is that on the very first night she was Admitted, a doctor came in and asked her if she had a heart attack, would she like him to save her life or let her go. What kind of a question is that to ask an 84 year old who is very ill and not thinking clearly. He should’ve asked me. My other issue is that for five full days a doctor or nurse never called me to update me on my mother‘s condition. I had to call my mother and by chance a nurse or a nurse practitioner had walked in, and I requested to speak to them. I never got an actual update from a medical professional themselves. How in the world are the medical staff supposed to understand this patient when they are severely ill without speaking to their family. I know that every hospital is understaffed and I get that. But you don’t know what kind of a person you’re dealing with when they’re very ill. You can only learn about the patient if you speak to their family.

Karen McAllister I’ve always had great experiences here although I see the other comments that depict negative experiences. I’m actually surprised as I have honestly never had a bad experience at st Clare. Wait times at the ER may be long, but they are everywhere. I feel like people may inflate the negative experiences at st Clare. Anyway. Good health to all!!

K DeLauder I think the staff in the ER are rude and insensitive. The staff need to understand that they are being PAID to be there. While the patients insurances or themselfs will COST them thousands of dollars People come to the ER on some of the worst days of their lives. They do not want to be there. But they are. The staff at this hospital treated me like a burden. Constantly talking negatively about me at the nurses station, which was rude and unprofessional. They ignored my request to give me my INSULIN after I had asked them multiple times to give me insulin because my blood sugar was high. Yet they took the insulin I had away from me. After having asked the social worker to ask one of the nurses again she said "Well I have diabetes and its not that hard to manage" i then asked "which type" she said "I do not have to tell you that" (I have type one which is much harder to manage by the way). So this indicated she had type two and was being rude and mean. It was just cruel. Why was someone being cruel to me on my worst day? She should be fired. They ended up moving me to the hallway and did not even give me a blanket after I was shaking and crying. My friend had to ask for one. After I got upset, I heard from the nurses station, "we got a rise outta her." If I ever needed to seek the help that I needed and this was my only choice, I would not go back. This place was awful. I would just suffer or die.

Kit Leighton My wife and I have been going to this clinic since 2021 and our experience has been almost always awesome through all the providers weve seen here. Early on we saw Ariel Carmichael and loved her, though after a year or two she left to go work at a womens prison (and we wish her the best of luck in her new career). After that we saw her mother, Peggy Smith, who was very kind but had a tendency to forget to take notes and forget what we talked about between visits. She left too, and then we saw the clinics head doctor (and I think owner?), Mitral Hanjani, for a few appointments. Her bedside manner left a bit to be desired but she always took our concerns seriously and was sure to explain everything clearly to us. Now we we see Kathrine Harshman, and shes the best weve had since Ariel. She took a bit to get used to the clinics computer and messaging system when she was first with us, but now that shes got a handle on it shes just fantastic. She always takes everything seriously and has good, fresh ideas for how to treat things and is very thorough in her diagnostic process. She knows a lot about psychiatry and many other specialties despite being a general practitioner and always has something useful and insightful to say when working with specialists. She even fixed a botched podiatry procedure when the podiatrist went visited harmed my wifes foot (and were definitely not going back to that podiatrist!). She always seems to be educating herself and works on the cutting edge of her practice, knowledgeable and such! Her bedside manner is also awesome, shes so kind and really seems invested in our health and well-being. Overall our experience at this clinic has been very good and much better than when we worked with Kaiser Permanente in California, even though Kaiser was still pretty good! I highly recommend this clinic and encourage you to ask for Dr Harshman!

Traveler12 World Dont come here if you are in an accident of some kind. If you are able to leave, then leave! They charge me an estimated 62k for about 28 hours of stay. I left on my own when I could. They failed to notify my insurance within 24 hours so my insurance did not cover. It got paid off and 7 months later I received another bill from an unknown company about pathology testing that I had to pay. What really got me was the CT scan that cost about 35k. Unless youre dying, do not get any CT scan. You get separate bills such as ambulance fees, different payment services for different doctors, and etc...This was all under 28 hours of being in the hospital...

Nicky I was dissatisfied with the service I received during my recent visit. Upon arrival, I saw a doctor for 5 minutes then was told to wait in the waiting room and i will be called but after that, I was not seen by anyone else. I waited in the waiting room for 4 hours without receiving any further attention, results, or assistance. Then a nurse came out and handed me discharge forms and said I was discharged and that I needed to follow up with my primary care Doctor. This experience was very disappointing, and I hope you can address this issue to improve the quality of care for future patients.

The medical staff are very polite, easy to understand my pain. Took exrays n cat scan. Looks they are through to seek problems. Mandy n WARNING DO NOT BOOK HERE (or Valley Medical in general for that matter) THEY DO NOT HONOR APPOINTMENTS * I wish I could even leave a review about a provider. I have unsuccessfully been trying to establish care with a new primary care physician for the last 6 months within the Valley Medical network. I started in January at the Kent Station location with Dr. Kopicki and had my appointment canceled days before my appointment. It was an understandable reason but still no apology nothing. So then I booked with Dr. Herzog at the Cascade Clinic shortly after that. I booked my appointment online and selected the first availability several months out into the end of June. Months go by Im looking forward to my appointment as Ive recently developed a chronic illness and Im hopeful to start having it managed properly. Fast forward to the beginning of June and I receive a voicemail that my appointment with Dr. Herzog has been canceled. Wait, what?! Again?! I call back and ask why and they just say "shes not in the clinic that day". Ummm ok why was I able to book that day if shes not in the clinic? "I dont know maybe she changed her schedule". Again, I understand things happen but that lack of concern, explanation and empathy was just really upsetting. So I try to move on and ask when can I reschedule? "End of September" What?! So through no fault of my own I will have waited 9 months to get an appointment with a primary care doctor? I ask if any of the other providers at ANY of their locations have an earlier availability? "No" Why Valley Medical does not save have black out times for emergencies and instances like this is beyond me and a sloppy way to run things. I asked if I book in September do I have any Guarantee my appointment will be honored this time? "No" If you have managed to keep reading to this point all I can say is if its not to late, work like hell to keep yourself healthy. We are on a collision course with our health care in America and it will only became more and more difficult to obtain care. Goodluck

Sara Malhiot Dr Kopicki is extremely disrespectful of your time as a person. Our very first appointment she was late nearly 45 minutes. Our following appointment I was late 8 minutes but their policy is to give patients a ten minute grace period. She refused to honor that grace period and set my appointment back 90 minutes. I am beyond displeased. The lack of mutual respect for my time is unreal. At this point, I will be sending a bill for my time. Why can’t I value my time the same as she values hers when she’s in complete disregard of it at all?

Theres a very comfortable nursing room where a mom can go and quietly and comfortably breastfeed their baby. In the middle of my pregnancy we moved to Puyallup and I continued to have my WIC appointments here because I like the staff so much. Highly recommended

Brittany Luciano Always have had a good experience here. Very clean….staff is always friendly and helpful. I’ve never once had an issue and I’ve been coming here for all four of my children since we moved to Kent in 2015. They offer a ton of services and are always trying to find ways to help your family with anything you need. Being able to do phone visits during Covid has made it very easy to get WIC benefits during the pandemic.

Jodie Allen My attending doctor and her nurse were kind compassionate and helpful. However, the trouble started after my doctor got the pain under control and discharged me. I had to wait in the lobby for my ride to pick me up, so my attending nurse gave me a pillow and blankets to rest in the lobby while waiting for my ride home. It was four in the morning, I was exhausted, still sick, and just wanted to lay on the double chair quietly. Then trouble walk up to me, it was a security service the hospital hires, the man told me to "Sit up like a normal person." What does that even mean? He continued to tell me that I wasnt sick and if I didnt sit up in the chair he would kick me out. I was scared of his aggressive behavior and threats, so for my protection I took out my phone to record him. This enraged him. He demanded I delete the recording. He handed me a small yellow paper with illegible writing. I was dragged out of the hospital. The experience was surreal and frightening. There was no other patients in the waiting area at the time. If there had been I would bet I would not have been treated like trash. I have never experienced anything like this, and I am still in shock what was done to me. It was also the dirtiest hospital I have been to. The bathroom smelled of urine and there was trash on the floor. It was disgusting.

Alicia Johnson I went to the hospital with extreme chest pain on Jan 19th. I thought it was a severe case of heart burn. I ended up getting admitted and had to stay overnight. I don’t have enough words to express how thankful I am for the treatment received by the Dr and Nurses. Thank you Dr Thomson and my nurse Felix Tang, you guys did great overall. The whole staff was amazing I just can’t remember all the names who played part. I appreciate You guys Thank you again

Diana Lara Amazing hospital! I recently gave birth at St. Francis and let me tell you, the staff was amazing. Kristin Smith and her team are so great, I couldn’t have asked for a better provider. I had a very difficult pregnancy and they were with me through every step, and when it came time to give birth in the hospital- what an experience! Everyone was so kind, compassionate, and caring. 100/10 ⭐️

Patricia Flores The ER department is a joke. The islander lady at check in is AMAZING. The rest of the staff suck. I’ve had flu like symptoms for two days now. Normally I don’t go to the doctors or ER. I went in because my blood pressure was 163/107. I got there and my blood pressure was 202/103. They discharged me without even rechecking my vitals.

1000 Names Worst Emergency department Ive ever dealt with in my entire life. If you need to go there for emergency services m, heres what to expect: Massive overcrowding. Ignoring patient concerns as well as the concerns of their family members. Lie after lie after lie. Literally nothing they say when they wanna discharge you is true. Even the Social worker was a lying u know what and I honestly wouldnt be surprised if someone firebombed the whole department one of these days. To make a long story short: if you live in the Federal Way/Auburn/Tacoma areas of WA and your paramedic asks you if "St. Francis is okay" Yell NO at the top of your lungs cause they will NOT treat you if they have a lot of patients already they dont care if you sit in their lobby and leak blood all over the floor. I had to beg these negligent fools for a pack of gauze while sitting in their waiting room with an open wound that required stitching for 4 hours. I literally started scabbing over cause I sat there for so long so I just left. Good news is my impromptu lip piercing from a doggo healed up real nicely. Thank goodness Ive always been a fast healer and know a thing or two about minimizing scarring cause it sealed up almost perfectly and only left a thin line outside. I cant speak for what the inside looks like but really I dont care so long as Im not dribbling drool or experiencing any temperature sensitivity. Frankly, I think our scars are beautiful cause its proof we lived and tells a story. Mine is a nice pretty line and constant reminder that the emergency department should be avoided at all costs. Instead of processing patients for a transfer somewhere that can actually handle them they send them right back out to where they got injured in the first place. But not before billing their insurance and trying to extort family members for the cost to transport someone who can barely walk back to THE PLACE THEY FELL... "Gee, thanks for covering my VENOMOUS SNAKE BITE with a bandaid, guess I can get back to that Viper Pit I love so much now..." If you think THAT is a good emergency department, you might wanna consider psychiatric evaluation cause you may be as delusional as they are. BTW they LOVE using patient phones to contact relatives cause they know they probably wont be recorded lying their "should be fired immediately" tails off just to dump a patient. If someone from the facility sees this, I hope theyre not the same someone who flat out lied to me, promised a callback and flaked, then just dropped the patient here without contacting me to tell me if insurance covered the transport or not. The cherry on top: they chose the most expensive option which Is an ambulance just to spite me for daring to question their decisions... If I get that bill Im contesting it and talking to some kind of Administrator about exactly what was said to me. Also, Im sincerely looking forward to this "Kathy" person who has all the answers for me calling today, too. Ill literally eat my socks if I get a call from anyone from St. Francis today. Ill even throw in the shoes if her name is "Kathy". But Ill be sure to choose a different hospital when the medics get here to take me away, I can guarantee that..

Katrina Apgar KP is awful. You cant get an appointment to save your life. their response is go sit in an urgent care for hours on end. Those poor drs in the urgent care ask you why you are there and you should not go to urgent care you should see your primary. it would be great if any primary dr actually stuck around or had an appt available. Appts are months out or 1-2 hours out of your way and you have no choice but to go to urgent care or to go to another facitly thats not kp and pay more. Im personally advocating for my company to switch away from KP. stop accepting more patients if you cant take care of them properly KP. What a joke for insurance.

Teri Clough I have been going to Whidbey health walk-in urgent care clinic for several years and Kaiser has always paid the bill. So in June I had to go for a urgent visit and the bill was rejected by Kaiser saying that they are no longer contracted with kaiser. But they are the only ones on the island to go to for walk-in urgent care. I will find a different insurance company. We pay over $1,000 per month for this insurance policy and it will not pay for an Urgent Care visit? That was the only visit I had all year so far and they wont pay it! Dont waste your money and time Ive spent hours on the phone trying to remediate this.

Christina Coonradt Kaiser Permanente of Washington is 100% greedy and DOES NOT actually care about their patients only with how much money they get. Kaiser use to actually be a decent health insurance company but in jstu a few short months I have seen it go down hill quickly all for THEIR bottom line with no consideration for what it costs their customers and patients. A multimillion dollar company just worried about money and not how their changes affect people, its disgusting. To make matters worse they dont care, the share holders and the board members still make their money and get to go home to their huge houses at the end of the day when the rest of us are just trying to survive.

Mario Ragucci Its a brand new facility and very modern. These corporate training and admin buildings are a pleasure to get to from Seattle on the 150 Kent bus. What made it so nice is the Interurban Trail because you can walk from the bus stop at Ft Dent Way and enjoy the walk or bicycle ride without hearing cars roaring around you. There is a protected and recessed new pedestrian path from the Tukwila Train Station to the facility. So if your using transit from Seattle like me, you just take the 150 Kent bus and when you get off at Ft Dent Way, you just cross the street, which has a generous sidewalk, and you walk one block to the Interurban Trail and its a protected walk or bicycle ride, relaxing, but most of all a good distance from any traffic. Bus + bike = 30 minute relaxing commute from Seattle.

Coach Dean This once would have been a 5 star review. Kaiser has gone from wonderful to awful. Excellent providers. Nice architecture. Often over an hour wait to see a very rushed (no matter how good she may be) provider. Website constantly has issues, calling in to make an appointment can take over an hour, if they can even get the system to work to make the appointment. edit: I see Kaiser has posted their automated reply below. Ive emailed, Ive called (some calls over two hours, when you have so many dissatisfied customers, its a long wait, and everyone in your overseas call centers, that take the calls, say they are not empowered to do anything, or they claim to fix the issue, and dont). Nothing gets fixed. Maybe spend less time shopping for new planes, and start fixing the mess you created. Rant over.

Kristina Brooks I met my new practitione, Sana, who was caring and very supportive. The assistant (sorry I don’t remember your name) gave the best non-painful flu shot. The office staff was responsive and very helpful. I am glad I found this healthcare location 12 years ago. You’re all the best, keep doing what you do!

Andrea Peace If I could give this "doctors office" zero stars, I would. I have been a patient here for over 16 years, and the quality of care has steadily gone downhill. From the extreme lack of availability of the providers to the rude front staff, and the lack of communication, this is an office to avoid. The communication is beyond deplorable, and its so difficult to get an appt, by the time you get an opening, its not even worth your time to go, especially since they cancel appts without warning or notice. Highly recommend that everyone stay away from this poor excuse for health care.

Kelly McMeekin The SERIOUS lack of customer service and care at this facility now since Bob and Maddy retired is really quite sad after the amazing practice they built. I was a patient for over a decade and have NEVER experienced anything like it honestly - to not receive a return call (4) or email (last attempt) is bonkers to me - especially when the initial call was made 2 weeks ago. Our family of 6 is more than happy to find a new, closer provider who takes client care seriously.

Brooke Peterson I have been going here for several years and have never felt supported by my primary care doctor or the staff. However, no issues were big enough to find a new PCP, as it can be difficult. Over the last few years, my doctor has attributed every problem I bring into my weight, not listening to my concerns, and overall making me feel unsupported. Mind you, the issues I have come i with have nothing to do with my weight. I have requested the last several appointments she not bring up my weight and continues to do so. I experienced my final straw this week. Last Friday, I called in for a prescription refill that I have been on for over ten years. The pharmacy stated I did not need an appointment and said they would refill the medication. I called today, Wednesday, because my pharmacy had still not received the refill (I am feeling quite ill by now), they stated that they denied it because I needed to see the doctor. Not only had they not told me I didnt need an appointment, but they hadnt bothered to call me and tell me about the change. They refused to refill my medication without an appointment, despite it being a very non-controlled substance and one I have been on for a very long time. I really do not recommend this place or Dr. Mahal to anyone who wants to feel heard or receive quality medical care. This place is outdated, rushed, runs behind in scheduling, has horrific communication, and the medical care behind it all is bad (at least for this one doctor, unsure about the rest of the staff). Note that reception and those who answer the phone are always kind and empathetic, I appreciate those staff and have always had a good experience with them.

Mary Cortez I used to love this place. I have been seeing the same doctor for well over 10 years. I recently really felt like I wasnt heard when I went there. The medical asst. did not even schedule the appointment properly. The reasons that she put down for that appointment and the time allotted for it were not the actual issue while I was there. This is not the first time that theyve made mistakes. I understand we are all human, but when were talking about my health and my life, its very important to me that things are accurate. My concerns were not met even when the doctor came in, and I was shocked and disappointed and yes a little sad because she has been a big part of my life being here in this state. She has seen me through many things, including my husband passing and the severe depression and mood swings that came afterward for me. The pain in my body that riddles me and my mental health battles all of these things, which keep me out of work. I literally changed my insurance in December so that I could keep my doctor. They were no longer taking My Humana Medicare anymore. I had to change doctors or I had to change insurances I picked insurance so that I could keep my wonderful doctor who I thought cared about me. I am in the middle of changing my eye doctor, however. I asked my doctor if she could please give me a courtesy refill of the drops for my glaucoma. I was having issues with the eye doctor who wanted to charge me $70 to come in when I had never paid a copay before in my life. With my new insurance I am going to find another eye doctor and I asked her if she could give me please I courtesy refill by the time it would have run out in a month I would have a new eye doctor and have this taken care of her response was Im not an eye doctor and I said to her she could see it all. I was not asking her to take over care. I was asking her to help me get the drops I needed just until I got a new doctor in the next couple weeks. Doctors will do courtesy refills. Your PCP should be able to do this for you. I was not asking her for any narcotics. I was asking for eye drops just for a month so that I could get a new doctor. As I was talking to her, she walked out of the room. I said to her that my eye Health was important and I didnt want to start losing vision, the whole reason for the job is so that I do not lose vision and it controls the pressure in my eye. I have been having pain and swelling in my legs. This is not the first time Ive had this happen. The very first time this happened they directed me to the emergency room where I stayed there for 8 hours just for them to tell me nothing was wrong that I should put up my feet wear compression stockings and cut back on my sodium. I dont add any extra salt to anything, and I do not eat a lot of salt. My point is that I took their advice, and then when it started flaring up again, I reached out to my doctor. Nothing that I needed was taken into consideration. I think after 12 years or so, maybe just maybe they could have at least pretended like they cared. When I called to ask for an administrator the first woman that answered the phone listen to my concern and I was not rude and then she told me and her exact words were can I put you on a brief hold while I absorb all this and gather my thoughts to figure out what I should do next. I was mortified that she said that to me I guess I bothered her because I wanted to talk to an administrator. I ended up calling back and I got somebody else and what they do is they dont want the call to go to an administrator so they told me they were going to transfer me to their patient care team where I left a message and still to date have not gotten a call back. I actually called twice and its sad but I guess nobody in MultiCare really cares after having me as a patient for a very long time. I wasnt rude to anybody I didnt talk to anybody in an ill manor. I just dont understand why I was met with the kind of attitude I was met with. I really thought I had made the right choice by staying with my PCP who Ive been with for year

Mike Woodham This was a great experience. Since I had completed Pre-Check-In using MyChart, after noting that I had arrived, I was told to take a seat. My name was called early & I was taken back for weighing & to have my vitals taken. Both the P.A & my Doctor listened to my concerns, and did the appropriate steps, while being friendly in the process. I would highly recommend Kent MultiCare for your medical needs.

Larry Hutchinson Very poor performance! I came into the doctors office with pain In my ribs and shoulder because of a biking accident on Thursday. The x-ray showed several things and the doctor prescribed Lidocaine patches. She also was skeptical that my insurance would cover them. I spent most of the day on Friday, talking to my insurance carrier, my pharmacy, and trying to get through to somebody in the doctors office. I had to endure the pain Friday, Saturday, Sunday Monday and finally when nothing was available on Tuesday, I Purchased six patches for $7.99. The original request from the doctors office was for three months and would’ve cost $700 out of pocket. It turns out the patches were not at all helpful for the pain. My disappointment Is the fault of my insurance for never okaying the patches. However, I am disappointed that the doctor or someone else never checked back with me, after knowing my insurance carrier was not filling the prescription, to offer a different prescription for me to alleviate the pain. There are plenty of staff on hand that could easily make a follow up phone call to the patient to see how they’re doing. this is where I think the doctors office failed.

Chris S Called at 2:45 on New Year’s Day to ensure they were open. The girl said they take patients until 4:00pm. I said that I would be there within the half hour. I drove across town with my son and arrived at 3:10 pm There were 2 patients in the waiting area. The girl, very rudely, said that they just stopped taking patients. If you stop taking patients at 3:00 for a 4:00 closing, then put it on your website. However, that would be a lot to ask for the clueless staff.

Jennifer Nelson I was traveling in the Seattle area for work and came down with a few concerning symptoms. After contacting my regular doctor back home it was decided a trip to an urgent care was probably the best route which is nerve racking as you never know what you’re getting into with an unknown care provider but I was out of state and needed care. A quick google search brought up this urgent care as the closest so I stopped in and was greeted at the door by staff who pointed me in the right direction. The waiting room was full of people so I knew there would be a wait which was no problem. The staff is a very diverse mix of people and they were happy to help in anyway possible. I was quickly checked in and placed in line and received a text message with a link letting me know where I was in line. I went to my car and began the waiting process and kept checking the cue to see where I was in line so I could head back inside when the time was close. After about an hour there were still two people in cue ahead of me and my phone rang from the clinic. I was told they had a room ready and to come back inside where I was immediately taken to the room and my vitals checked. A few minutes later the PA came in and asked a few questions and ran a quick test and determined the symptoms were what I suspected they were. She called in a script and I was back about my day with the total time being about two hours out of my day. I see there are some negative reviews about this place but they really did earn a five star rating not only with the treatment process but the staff interactions as well. Healthcare workers are overwhelmed trying to meet patients needs and a little common courtesy and patience go a long ways. Thank you to the entire staff today for a positive healthcare interaction!!!!

Emily Van Dyke The staff is nice enough and the visit was fine for urgent care, although I would not want the doctor as my family practice doctor. The main issue came after the visit, having to wait two and a half days for a call back when I was promised one to get my prescription. They do not ever answer their phone and there is no voicemail. They promised theyd call in a prescription to my preferred pharmacy instead of the standard they originally sent it to, then never did, forcing me to drive an hour out of my way because they cannot be contacted. Worst experience ever and I will not be back.

Rosalene Mullins Great urgent care! The receptionists are caring, patient and laid back which is great when youre already not feeling well. The wait time was okay, only about 10 min. I was seen by an ARNP, which was perfect for what I was being seen for. She quickly understood why I was there, had a discussion with me and we decided on a treatment plan together. I loved how she listened to me and her level of caring and concern was super high. I would go back and recommend anyone needing urgent.care go here as well.

Jay Jay I was required to go there for a preemployment drug screen. First I went to the Seattle location and there was a paper sign on the door stating they were closed for the day. The next closest location was Kent, and by the time I arrived I was very ready to get my test done. I informed the desk people I really really really had to use the bathroom and was treated with complete indifference. After 10 minutes of waiting I inquired about how soon I could expect to wait and was only told yes I know you really have to go, with no time given. It appeared I was the only one waiting for a drug screen and was left waiting for more than 45 minutes. I could only sit in discomfort for so long and only made it about 15 min total. Lucky for me I was left waiting so long I had to go again by the time I was taken for the test. I wouldn’t go there even if my life depended on it, much less for something routine.

Stephanie Lethrud Unless you know how to self-advocate I do not recommend. My last pregnancy I had to go above and beyond for myself in order to get the care that I know I deserve and that I have received before. Being a first-time parent is very frustrating it doesnt seem like they hear what you are saying. There was one instance when I told them that I had poor fetal movement and in my chart later that day it said good fetal movement. I have had three different consoles to get my tubes tied and Im still waiting to get that specific procedure. Making appointments and keeping appointments seemed to be very difficult countless times my appointments were rescheduled

Sogand Hoveyda I cannot recommend Dr. Michael Berger enough! He has been an amazing doctor throughout my time as his patient. Unfortunately, I’m moving out of state and can no longer continue under his care, but even then, Dr. Berger went above and beyond. He used his own resources to help me navigate the women’s health system in the state I’m relocating to. Dr. Berger is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and kind—everything you would want in a doctor. I truly wish we had more doctors like him. I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff and nurses, at MultiCare Kent OB/GYN especially RN Jen, who was always available to answer any of my questions. Wishing all of you the very best, and thank you for everything!

My advise is to stay clear of this doctor at all costs.
