I decided to ask Dr Cho all my questions and relate all my concerns through MyChart. He explained every detail I needed to hear about!! Dr. Cho has given me complete confidence through his impeccable expertise and knowledge.

Denise Paul The care at the Tacoma Wound clinic is consistently exceptional. My mother and I have been impressed every time weve been there, many times over the past several months. Scherrie, Marty, Brian and every doctor/ARNP weve had are truly exceptional in every aspect. Hospital and customer service in general seems to be on the decline everywhere else which makes this clinic stand out all the more to me. Highly recommend to anyone seeking help with wound care.

cyndy prichard Absolutely loved all medical staff, including Nurses, ARNPs, and Drs.! All were very concerned, caring, professional, and knowledgeable! Receptionist was hot and cold, actually making me cry one day! Never be late, even if a justified 10 minutes. A lot can happen from parking to the clinic! Give yourself extra time to get there, then add another half hour to it!

Joey Nichols I came here with my wife on a slow day and we have been sitting in the waiting room for 2.5 hours already. I have asked them where my Wifes name was on the list, they told me there is no list its all in rotation. Theres only 9 people here! ...Funny highlight of my day was seeing a rookie intern spilling water on the keyboard in the middle of the waiting room and trying to play it off like it never happened, he scooped up the ice and put it back in his cup.

Paul Combs I came in mid-morning of this past Saturday. I was sure I was having another gout attack. I was admitted quickly and only waited about 5mins for a further response. I was called in a looked over and finally met the doctor. He looked me over and heard my story! He suggested I have an X-ray as I had also stubbed my same toe! I think it was about 30 mins later I was xrayed (great X-ray tech) and another doc visit and I was done!Excellent debrief from Courtney about the " blue pills"! Lol!!! Excellent visit... THANKS TO ALL!!!

Wendy DiCroce Scheduling appts is ridiculous!!! The doctors/arnps and nurses are nice enough and do their job well, but you feel like you are just one of many patients they see each day. They dont seem to remember you from one appointment to the next.

David Cho Dr was very caring and respectful. He took the time and explained in detail while also showing me the picture of the kidney stone.

Doug Bryan Im sorry, but the person getting operated on should not be talking the doctor though all of the post operation procedures that occurred. The doctor should be prepared and have reread the last few notes to know what is going on with that patients file. I had to have 2 emergency surgeries. The doctor waited over 30 days to do bladder scan, then classified my surgery as none urgent because he waited. This was after coming to hospital emergency in extreme pain and hematuria.

Brittany Burch My mom was seen by Dr. Stone on 11/18/2022 with stroke-like symptoms. She was brought down to the ED by a nurse from her PCPs office also at St. Joes. Her discharge paperwork from her PCP said to head to the ER asap to rule out a stroke, which they failed to do. She had blood work done and a chest X-ray, but was not given a CT scan, which as a nurse I know is VITAL in diagnosing a stroke. She ended up having to go to TG a few days later with extreme stroke symptoms and was told that she was having an ischemic stroke and that with some of her symptoms lasting a few weeks, she also recently had a TIA (mini stroke), which is normally a precursor to a stroke, and if she had a ct scan at St. Joes it may have been prevented. So, as a daughter and a RN, I cannot recommend Dr. Stone. My mother could have died from his negligence.

George M Ablan Dr. Stone is the most knowledgeable Dr. I have had in any emergency room hospital. I told him years ago that he should be in private practice.

Jordan Field My doctor gave me a referral to this clinic and trying to schedule an appointment has been a nightmare. The scheduler that initially called me mistakenly said my insurance is not accepted, even though I verified with my insurance that it was in network. When I told them I’m certain it was in coverage, they placed me on hold for 30 minutes before ending the call without speaking to me. After multiple calls from me without reaching anyone at all, I finally spoke to someone about my referral, was placed on hold again for 45 minutes, and then the call was ended again without speaking to me. If this is any indication to the level of care you will receive here, I would not recommend.

TIM BARR Hello, my appointment was Sharon Barker. She is very detail oriented. Always helpful and kind. I feel she really understands me and my needs. Ask her about the two for one discount Colo/ Endo 2 for 1 special called "the Turn around" please! Im happy with her personable attention to details. Im sure with her in the mix of providers I will be in with the best served! Okay, okay the 2 for 1 special I was, ok, Im kidding! My bad. Thank you! Sharon Barker, youre the best, all kidding aside!

Joan Campbell-Horn They were nice but they told me the visit was around $150 and when I saw the bill it was closer to $310. I understand the deductible process and have no problem with meeting those aspects. It’s just principle, if you say one thing but another thing occurs, then that’s wrong. The visit was only 10 minutes so seems pretty steep for processing a visit. Figured other people should know before they go in.

Kelli JOHNSON The front desk and nurse were great however Jason Rodgers is a poor excuse for a provider. He had zero answers and seemed offended that I was there for a 2nd opinion. He was more worried about stepping on toes than helping me. I would never recommend him or this place because you might be scheduled with him. Every question I asked he answered with I don’t know or I can help you. He decided before he enter the room he wasn’t there to help. Its providers like this that lead to distrust of medical providers. His bedside manner was trash.

Joe Simpson Excellent physicians and medical care, unfortunately office staff has dropped the proverbial ball of late. Phone calls directing me to get lab work at laboratories "I provided addresses and suite numbers to". Orders were never received, so in order to get requested blood draws I would need to drive to the main office and hand deliver the lab orders to get correct blood tests. Frustrating at best your only as good as your support staff and they are the faces of the business, and yes this is buisiness

It was delivered on time and with care by Jesse Bynum. I appreciate his professionalism, friendliness and punctuality. Jeanie Peterson I cannot tell you how amazing it is to find a doctor that you can communicate with, that actually listens to you, I found such a doctor in a facility at 30809 1st Ave S, Federal Way on first Avenue, his name is Kamran Khan, A young man who listens to your concerns and your issues, who doesn’t dismiss your opinion even after he’s given you his. He’s good and when it comes to his patients, he is caring and concerned.

They scheduled our second shot while we were there. We have a number of friends who had their shots at other locations and were stuck trying to get an appointment for the second shot. HONEY B For my first pregnancy I went through this office which was okay. I have recently scheduled a new appointment here over the phone. I showed up for my appointment & I had to ask 3 different receptionist on how to get to the OBGYN clinic since they have moved since the last time I had been here. They also seemed confused as to where the clinic was at. After walking around for 20 mins I get upstairs & I check in. I now have a different insurance (which shouldn’t matter). As I am filling out paperwork I am now being told that I need a referral to be seen after the appointment has already been made, and was not disclosed to me before or after making the appointment. I am also a stay at home mom, which means I have a baby with me. Not even a year old. I am being told I cannot be seen & they had to cancel my appointment because I have an infant with me. This is my baby, it doesn’t make sense to refuse service because an infant child that still has to go to appointments with their mother. I am a stay at home mom for a reason. This being said I obviously do not have childcare for my baby. I am the baby’s child care. For all of this to happen to me when I get to my appointment when it could have been avoided, if I was notified over the phone, to what her excuse was because I “called the front desk instead of the call center” I wouldn’t have wasted my time to go there. The receptionist offered to reschedule for the next day as if she didn’t understand I don’t not have childcare for my baby. Although I came here for my first pregnancy & wanted to come back I might have to find somewhere else to go unfortunately. I am disappointed on how today played out & felt as if I was refused service for caring for my baby at the same time.

Ember Glenn I have never felt so cared for in a women’s health facility. I had just began looking into different clinics and I came across this one. My first appointment was with Natasha Haire. She was so personable and kind. I was so nervous and she provided excellent care but also made me feel so welcomed and supported. I will definitely be returning for her expertise. Thank you so so much, I highly recommend her to any gal in need of a new gyno doctor. 10/10!

Carrie M Susan Clabots Sheets is great. I’ve been seeing her for several years now. She listens and explores every topic and even though follow through has fallen short at times since I’ve seen her she always makes things right. I am giving three stars for two reasons. One, the office is not technically up to date - it is a throwback to the 80’s only with laptops. Paper billing, no ability to pay online, no online chart to speak of (they do have a communication portal but it’s hardly used. Anytime I’ve tried to send a communication it goes unanswered because no one checks it and I end up having to call anyway). Two, I had never had the occasion to see Dr Loomis until recently when I needed a CPAP follow up and Susan wasn’t available. Boy am I glad I see Susan - Dr Loomis was a bit of a grump and I didn’t appreciate feeling dismissed at times during our conversation. It’s for these very reasons my husband, who saw Dr Loomis for many years, decided to choose a new PCP. A few positives, besides Susan, are that they do lab draws in-house and the office staff is very nice.

Jon Dr. Loomis is a fantastic physician. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and he takes the time to explain things to you. You can tell that he is passionate about what he does, and he holds himself to provide a high standard of care. I truly believe he is the best doctor I have ever had.

Kate P. I have been a patient here for about 2 years now. The staff care about their patients. I have had several in-office procedures and always feel confident in the doctors/nurses. The nurses are skilled at drawing blood without pain. They maintain good communication by calling regarding routine prescriptions, follow-up, and test results. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable. Love this clinic. I have seen every doctor and ARNP and am always satisfied with the care provided.

Diane Inman Susan Clabots-Sheets has been my primary care giver for several years and Ive seen Dr. Loomis several times as well. The care and knowledge that these two have is excellent and the personal concern they have always shown me has been far above what is typical in todays health care systems. I read a negative review about them that insinuated that they dont use conventional MD solutions but want you to heal yourself. Untrue in my experience. Whenever Ive had a health issue I have been given medicine options as well as possibilities for more holistic approaches to heal. I like it.

Cindy Scriba I cant say enough about my experience with Dr. Loomis and his staff!! Having been away for 7 1/2 years, I came back looking for a new PCP, I went on the internet and decided on Dr. Loomis according to that information. After leaving his office for my first visit, it dawned on me that he had been my parents physician for 30 years. As it turns out, I have a breast cancer issue that I had been holding on to for about two years ( not wanting to share my concerns with the doctors in the state I was residing in) I made the decision to share my concern with Dr. Loomis. His attentiveness to my concern and health issue has been impeccable!!! He has personally called me after hours to share results and been all over getting me to the best care available to me!!! Brian, the person he has doing the referrals, is amazing!!! If you are looking for a new PCP, please do yourself a favor and look at Dr. Loomis

Bill B This Tacoma hematology clinic failed basic cleanliness and infection control. A line of 15–20 people stretched from the waiting room into the hallway. The door sign required masks, but staff neither enforced nor emphasized it. A basic mask was available at the reception window, where a single receptionist handled the crowd. In the blood draw area, staff also ignored the policy. For immunocompromised cancer patients, this environment is unsafe.

Danielle Foss Wish I could put 0!! Where do I even start? Well for starters they are the only place in our city that Does not allow any family members in the treatment facility with them. Find that kind of suspicious, they lie and tell one person one thing and then when you try to go they say you need to be vacinated, and when that doesnt work they said "well we dont allow anyone past the first treatment anyway." So if supporting your loved one is important to you DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE. They seem to be hiding bad care and im suppose to just trust these mistakes made daily are not being made during his treatments!? Every appointment in office takes 2hrs for a 10 min fast talk with dr. The front desk staff seem really alouf and just sit behind counter with mask down and talk about other staff, yet if you call on phone you wait for 30 min for one of then to answer, they mess up prescriptions on a regular basis and then you have to drive down and wait for them to fix it, no apologies nothing.. the only thing they have done fast was get approval for insurance for treatment, lol i bet.. this place seems to just want your money. Do not recommend for such a sensitive time in life. And if you try to call said loved one while they are in treatment you cant even hear them because the nurses are talking loudly the WHOLE time.. how is someone supposed to relax during an infusion with LOUD women for 4 hrs straight!? Again 0 starts if I could. Wish it wasnt too late to go somewhere else. Also for a place that treats immune compromised people it is not very clean.

Lisa Huizar I should explain my rating is not for allenmore hospital as much as the lab technician that didnt want to assist me and my special needs daughter this Sunday 11/17/2024. My daughter needed lab work requested by her endocrinologist ASAP. I was excited that Allenmore was open on Sunday so I could get them done, as they were so urgent to getting my daughter the medication she needs. Again my daughter is special needs ( down sydrome) to be exact. We came into the laboratory department at about 10 am and there was 1 couple waiting in the lobby with a baby. The red headed attendant or lab technician took care of them about 15 min after my daughter and I arrived. We filled out the sign in paper 1015am and sat down to wait. A kind lady with her mom came in when I was setting down my green sign in paper. She aldo filld her green sheet and then sat down to wait. After the couple came out the red headed tech went to the computer and it took her 20 min to print out the lab papers which I assumed were for my daughter but when she came out she called the older ladys name. I was upset because I was going to be late and the ladies daughter heard I was running late. She told the tech I was next but she was so rude and said I got there 25 min after everyone. At this point there was another couple there too. The tech then said what your last name anyways. I could tell she wasnt going to help me but I still tried to wait for my daughters sake. I honestly think she was just racist as I am Hispanic. It saddens me that she didnt even care my daughter is special needs . She is also only 12 Anyways I dont people like this should work in a job that is so important for all of us. Eventhough the daughter of the older lady tried to tell her I was next she just didnt care.

TIM BARR Hello, I use the anti-coagulation clinic. The people there are great! I have been going there for several years. Everyone is pretty friendly. It takes time, of course, like most everyone to get to know the folks there. When you may be scheduled for 4 - 5 weeks apart for the Inr tests. They are very professional. I dont recall ever having an issue with anyone. I did miss an appointment a month or two ago. They were very understanding. I explained I must have not written dome on the calendar. I did not believe it when I returned home later only to notice. I had written it on the calendar. I just missed it.

Bucaria Cindra (Rella) Had to get a steroid infusion, but was treated so nice made to feel as comfortable as possible. Every single day I was there EVERY employee treated me with so much care and compassion it left a lasting impression on me. The facility was clean and well taken care of theyre doing something right there and Im glad because it made my situation not so bad.

Sara Stewart It does take a while to get scheduled, but Dr. Lein and the team were very nice at my appointment. She listened to me and took my issues seriously. I feel well taken care of. She’s very pleasant and has a very distinct laugh that makes you smile. Get there early, it’s a little confusing to find the right building and office.

Nadda Nope What. A. Joke. This place is nothing more than a fishing expedition for your wallet. I went in for a very specific issue, and I went along with diagnosis stuff at first. I did find it odd that I was being asked to get more bloodwork done when I arrived with recent results, but Im not a doctor. I found it really weird when I was getting referred to totally unrelated specialists without reason. So, I went to one final appointment to get a physical and discuss how the meds were doing. The "physical" was less comprehensive than a basic initial visit, but for some reason, I was getting billed extra for unauthorized services. I fought them on these charges, because I did not want them. The "services" were implied as being included in the physical, yet were billed in addition. Honestly, I wouldnt have fought them if the services were value added. However, a depression screen that wasnt reviewed and a hearing test that was no more comprehensive than a basic conversation? I think not. Their front desk is clueless about the billing, and their billing department fought with me, trying to justify the charges, without listening to why I was contesting them. Even in their final letter, they would not acknowledge WHY I was contesting the charges. Then they remove me from their patient list and threaten me with collections? I dont contest fair bills. I dont contest bills I signed up for, even when I dont like them. I only contest those trying to take advantage of me, and thats exactly what you can expect from this place. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere ethical.

Cate I really liked Julie Cunningham, but would not recommend this office overall. The billing and front office are lacking/non-existent. I feel that this practice is ran with a profit over patient relation mindset.

Destiny McFarlan After already making a payment on a bill that was not past due, and planning on finishing the final payment the following month, we received a notification from the office that they "have our card on file" and will be pushing through the remainder of what we owed. I called and requested they delete our information and not run a payment. They stated that charging credit cards that are on file (note-with out consent) was their standard practice. They gave in once we contacted them and asked them to stop. On a previous interaction, we were questioning a bill that looked double charged, they initially refused to schedule any appointments to discuss the results of the procedure until the bill had been paid, even though we were actively working with billing to make sure it was accurate. Only after I told them it was illegal to withhold medical results for payment did they also give in and schedule an appointment. The doctors are fine, but the reception and billing departments are difficult to deal with and have practices that I cannot support.

d20 Dave Used to be great, but the last few times Ive tried to get an appointment its been almost a month wait. For acute issues (potential infections) this is unacceptably long. Ive taken to using the MyChart messaging system for medical advice, because at least thats reasonably prompt. The problem is theyre one of the best for the quality of the medical providers, being that theyre residents who are up-to-date. Not sure where else to go, but Im starting to look for alternatives.

Givonna Marquis I was able to get an appointment quickly, within a week. The provider was very compassionate I felt that she heard me and came up with a good care plan and I received follow up from other departments. Overall I am very pleased with my visit there. I literally wanted to cry I was so happy.

Kara Kegg Terrible experience with the receptionist. They canceled on me and she made it impossible to reschedule in a timely manner. I ended up having to go in person and basically beg to reschedule my time sensitive appointment. They apologized at my appointment but I feel like the receptionist that I spoke to should have sensitivity training or something because she doesnt know what people are going through. Absolutely unacceptable for someone that works with people that may be receiving the worst news of their life. Again, they canceled on me and hung up on us when we were upset that they wanted to reschedule us for a month out.

Me Im new to Tacoma and needed a womans clinic. After living all over the USA, I found this clinic to be extremely professional, fast appointment, friendly, completely sensitive and informative. Ive had uterine cancer, children, complications, full hysterectomy and general checkups my whole 50+ yrs. I trust my new Drs and staff. Very conclusive and thorough. Samantha Audria This was my first time making an appointment with this location and it will certainly be my last. I asked the ultrasound tech for pictures because I noticed that when my exam was done she didn’t give me any prints. She then says that they send them to the phone number on file. This is my second pregnancy and I have never heard of any place that does it this way but I said okay. Mind you my husband came with me but because I have an older baby he wasn’t allowed back so we were really counting on those prints for him to get a glimpse of baby that I am currently carrying. The tech never sent the pictures. I called and asked about this and the receptionist stated that she would remind the tech to send the pictures and still they never sent those pictures. Not to mention during the ultrasound the tech kept jiggling my stomach to get baby to move because her arm was covering her heart. I wasn’t bothered to much by this but what bothered me was her saying repeatedly “come on baby, your giving me a hard time, omg come on move” like I stated previously this isn’t my first pregnancy and I have been seen by alot of different techs since and I have never had this experience. She didn’t even help me up when we were done and seemed to be in a rush.

Courtney S I had a great experience for my 20 week ultrasound. They were running a little late today and were so kind as to call me ahead of time, so we didnt have to sit in the waiting room longer. I didnt catch the receptionists name, but she was very kind and patient with me. Alisha was my sonographer and made the hour pass by quickly with her knowledge and wonderful bedside manner. She was also super helpful when my partner had to leave a little early. Overall a wonderful experience.
