She made sure I was completely informed about the treatment and the aftercare. I’ll absolutely be coming back and really appreciate the whole team over there at Anacortes Dermatology!

5 /5 Tracy B: Very friendly and efficient service. While visiting in the area I needed a short notice appointment. Nancy answered my call. She was very pleasant and helpful in providing me an appointment the morning of the call. Upon check in, Consuelo, Medical Assistant, gathered a bit of information about my concern. Dr Hines appeared quickly. He diagnosed and treated my skin issue with help from Consuelo. They made me comfortable from the start, were sociable, and extremely efficient while making me feel like they genuinely cared about my health. My compliments to an excellent staff and patient environment. If I lived anywhere close, this practice would definitely be my choice.

5 /5 Jillian Fisher: I visited Dr. Nygard yesterday for laser resurfacing and had a great experience. She has excellent bedside manner, made sure I was comfortable and informed about the procedure and answered all questions I had about aftercare. I would absolutely recommend anyone I know to see Dr. Nygard. The rest of the office staff was lovely as well!

2 /5 Joyce Rigby: I scheduled a cyst removal in person at the office and my spouse & I took off work for the appointment. When I spoke to the doctor, I was advised it was a consultation instead & they were not prepared with staff to do a procedure to remove the cyst. There should have been better communication regarding purpose of the scheduled appointment.

5 /5 Dawn Metcalf: Dr. Hines is a great Dermatologist. He has taken care of my skin, post cancer, for quite a few years. He performs full body scans in a manner that makes me feel completely comfortable and always has an assistant in the room. He also doesnt tell you a treatment will work 100% if he isnt sure and doesnt volunteer anything unnecessary (revenue enhancement) unless you ask (which I have). I have been to another well known dermatologist in Anacortes/Mt. Vernon and received "suspicious" test results one year later in the mail, claiming the letter got lost which is completely unacceptable! I have also been to a dermatologist that continually suggests (expensive) enhancements that I have not asked for. This has not happened at this clinic. I would highly recommend AD and Dr. Hines.
