5 /5 Joanna Joanna: I moved here from out of state recently, was widowed within a year, and I own a German made car. There really is nowhere to get this car serviced anywhere within 100 miles, so I took it to a local place just for an oil change. A few days later I noticed oil all over the garage floor. I told a neighbor and she said the same thing happened to her after she took her car to the same place I had gone to, and told me don’t go back. She gave me Andy‘s name and address and said take it there. It was a busy Friday afternoon, and I couldn’t get them on the phone, and I really was fearful that something was wrong. I drove over to Andy’s shop and explained the situation. To my surprise, they actually took it right in to look at it. Tim came out a few minutes later and wanted to explain what he thought was wrong. He escorted me back into the bay to show me. He explained it and gave me his opinion of what the problem was. He even took photos for me to show to the shop that change the oil.I’m very aware of how fortunate I was to find a human being with this kind of empathy. I don’t know anyone here, and I have not had good experiences with any of the trades in Aberdeen. Tim gives humankind a good name. I am very grateful for the time he spent solving a problem for me, and for which he did not even charge me for time. Finding an honest business is difficult in the best of circumstances. To find one that is run by a genuinely nice person and honest without question is a rarity. I was so profoundly moved by his kindness that I am selling my car and buying an American brand vehicle that Tim and his staff can take care of. They have a new customer for life.
Thank you, Tim and Staff.
