Shelly Orr You can NEVER get a hold of anyone! You can only get an appointment if you take the day off and go into the campus in person. When you do get appointments, they call and cancel the appointment. Then, you have to repeat the process all over again! Also, their webpage sucks because you have to log into three different pages to access your canvas and a significant portion of the computer science classes are taught online using books you have to pay for but don’t get to keep. This school is a joke!

Islas Nathania I started going to Pierce in late September, I dropped out of Pierce because they were no help at all what so ever & told me that It was likely that I was not going to be able to get into the pre-nursing program. So I decided to leave within the 2 weeks they give you to drop classes without charging for them and yet here I am being charged over 1,000 dollars for the 2 days that I actually attended their school. I tried contacting them so many times to get help to pay this off and even ask why I was being charged if I had left in the time period they gave me to drop out. I have emailed, called and gin in person so many times and have yet to be helped at all. The advisors and financial are literally the worst its like they couldn’t careless. Overall, I suggest not going to school here they’re the worst.

Hanh If youre a student who uses Disability Accommodations in Pierce College, be aware that if youre struggling to take quizzes, tests, and exams, the ADS Office staffs will "always install a school security camera" near you so you wont be cheating which I think its ridiculous cuz thatll make my anxiety alot worse from being watched what I do and overthinking for nothing. I never had this issue before, Im not saying I cheated. Im saying its awkward to be watching every move you do unless you dont mind it. Other than that they also dont allow you to use any notes except for a listed plain vocabulary words on blank paper thatll not help you often, this dont make sense to me like what ADS are here for exactly? Do they really care about our success, then let us do what we have to do. Makes me curious, do they want us to fail for profit, by retaking some classes everytime we pay them(if failed a few times) without a refund?

Ashlynn Jones i’ve emailed them twice, tried calling a few times and no one responds. the only way to get an answer is through zoom on tuesdays. so if you’re not available for that, there’s no way to contact them

Nicole Swan ZERO STARS!! One of the worst departments on campus by far and the WORST department I’ve ever experienced in my college career (and I’ve been to a few colleges). This department waited 3 months after I submitted my FAFSA to tell me my forms were wrong. They didn’t even tell me what was wrong, all I received was a vague message about it. Then, it took me a month (dealing with 4 different people) to figure out what was actually wrong with my forms as no one could tell me why my forms were flagged. I got my forms fixed and resubmitted within 2 weeks. Now, over a 1 month later, I have had no response to my emails, phone calls, and no one is available for zoom calls to figure out if my forms have been re-evaluated. I can’t go in person as I work the one day they are open for drop ins and classes start in less than 2 weeks. This has been a huge waste of my time this summer, it should NOT have to be this difficult and frustrating to get answers. I guess I’ll be borrowing money from someplace else to take care of this terms bills. This department needs to do better for its students in terms of communication, offer more drop in hours so those who work can actually swing by when they aren’t working, and hire more staff to fill student demand.

Erik H. Gyms/HEC closed early every time I come to campus. With no end insight. Theres a paper note on the door sayin they close at 2pm now. That signs been up for 2 weeks. The hours online still say open till 6pm. Nobody in HEC answers the phone here nor do they answer it at the Lakewood campus. know one seems to know whats goin on. You cant get anyone on the phone Some staff on campus are not aware the HEC exists. A staff member said she thinks the HEC is on the other campus. Incorrect. They are at both campuses. Very frustrating the lack of responsibility and communication to the students.
