Ami Trivedi We’ve been coming to Royal Nail Bar for years for mani and pedi. They always do a really lovely job. This time, I was excited to take my 2.5 & 5.5 year olds there. Grace really went above and beyond at making the girls feel comfortable & sooo beautiful with their sparkly rainbow nails. Thank you, Grace & RNB team! You all rock!!

Brandy Amarillas Wow, I had such a great time last Friday. They accommodated our reservations. At other salons I make an appointment only to wait 20-30 minutes. They did beautiful work on both mine and my friends pedicure. I also enjoyed a nice refreshing vodka cocktail while getting my nails done. These ladies were so hospitable. Ill be visiting again!

Ruthie Thomas I’ve been to this place twice before and they did a good job and were quick. I just get an acrylic overlay, no color, for a polished look and to help my natural nail grow. Today, I asked him to just round out the corners so I don’t poke myself. I guess that meant ‘rounded’ and before I could stop him, my pinky nail was filed inward at a ridiculous angle. When I pointed it out, the solution was to file my nail down more and more. On top of that the acrylic was uneven, missing on some corners and left in large clumps on others. I pointed it out and he put more acrylic on and sanded it down, but I literally had to point out every single area. I hate microscopically watching like this and pointing out every flaw, but it’s a service I’m paying for, and as I work with my hands in people’s faces (makeup artist) I need them to look presentable. However, it got to a point I just wanted to be done and leave considering after every sanding, he filed my nails down so now I’ve been left with fractions of my original length. Additionally, now apparently they want you to pay cash only, even though card was accepted beforehand.

Create Opulence Definitely give this salon a try. It is a great location parking is not a problem. Service was pretty great. I got a dip on my natural nails & a collagen pedi with gel. My nails were overdue. I also didnt get the easiest color choice. Red glitter dip isnt easy. All came out even, shaped nicely, no cuts and skin areas are smooth.

May Serrano This is my second time visiting Lavender Nail and Spa. I got lucky that I got Mai again to do my manicure and I love the way my manicure turned out. She also gave me a pedicure. The pricing is also not too bad. I will definitely be getting my nails done by Mai again. Parking can be a little bit hard though.

Marissa Chinn Ok this is my go-to nail salon now only because its close to home and prices are decent for acrylics. After I switched from gel manicures to acrylics, I noticed a big difference in quality. I still get gel for pedicures, but so far seems ok. Maybe its because my favorite technician, Tammy, just does a quality job regardless. I love that she takes her time no matter how busy the salon is and shes very attentive to the details.

They always go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with everything. Ruby is very talented and on every occasion she makes sure I’m in love with my nails every time. The salon itself is very clean, welcoming and has many color options. 10/10 I will be back!

Adriana Rodriguez I went in to get my nails done a while ago and the girl who did them said I needed a new set when I asked for a fill. I wanted to know why I needed a new set when I had just gotten a new set the previous time I went. The girl begins to do my fill but starts huffing and puffing when she drills at the previous 3D art. I said ok you know what if you think I need a new set I will take it. The attitude was horrible until that point. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable to even make any requests. These are MY nails. IM PAYING YOU to do them. These are not your nails and this is not your money. If you think my request is stupid or unreasonable thats fine but dont huff and puff like a child over a service youre offering. Thats unprofessional, distasteful, and ghetto. She could have just explained to me (without an attitude) why she couldnt fulfill the service requested. Once my nails were finished I even tipped $15 which people might think Im crazy. But thats about how much I tip for a job well done (the nails came out really good) and this was in exchange for me never going back. I always tip at the very least $10. I will be taking my $10 tips back to Dublin and Oh My Nails in Hayward will never see me again. Next time keep your workers in check. If you see your worker/coworker with an attitude make sure to remind them you are there to provide a service, not lose customers. (The attached photo is not of the actual nails but what I requested)

Kathryn Huber The salon was packed when I arrived, which typically means a positive experience and repeat customers, however, as a walk-in customer with no appointment, I was still seated immediately. All the employees were very pleasant and friendly. The lady who did my nails did an excellent job, she even completely redid one finger because I complained it looked crooked. She went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied, even though I was being super picky and particular about the shape and length of my nails. I definitely would recommend this salon and will continue to go here in the future. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was kinda hot in the salon and also a fly kept buzzing around me and I was so annoyed I almost swatted it myself.

Sanskruti Desai I went to this place and booked an appointment prior to coming! I had to wait an hour even though i had an appointment. I wanted different nail person but they assigned me kim and i thought it will be fine. I wanted dipping powder and she kept insisting doing acrylic gel thing. I had to tell her multiple times and she finally agreed. Even after it was done, i told her i don’t like it and she didn’t change. I had to come back and they fixed it.

Michelle Gonzalez I had pedicure and full set walk I’m done yesterday. Nails looked ok, but I have a photo shoot and an interview on Monday so I noticed they weren’t going to cut it when I got my pedicure. They fixed some things but while at home I just knew something else needed to be done. Called up, and the owner said she’d open up for me on Sunday to fix everything. Not only was she incredibly nice, and apologized, making sure I knew no matter what if I’m not happy to please come back but she delicately fixed all my issues quickly. I’m happy to say this is my fav place and I finally feel comfortable to maintain these beauties. Before and after photos posted. Alisa & Cindy are so nice, and do an amazing job!

Sonnye Bettencourt I had a wonderful experience here! Joanne took care of me. Shes really a great nail artist! I called them before they were open the day before my wedding and they answered! I told them I needed a really good nail artist because a different shop did a terrible job on my wedding nails after I left in tears the day prior. She told me to come in now. I made my way right over and Joann is who helped me. She asked for a reference photo, did exactly what I asked for and went above and beyond by even adding in some bling. I absolutely loved her artistry and will be back!

hope caldwell Let me start this by saying: the ladies here are very nice. This place is unfortunately disgusting. Not one cutting tool is sanitized. The staff are constantly eating and leaving their food out and uncovered. Not one staff member sanitizes or cleans their hands even after they eat. They have a whole table of the blue sanitizing liquid with nothing inside, with food containers next to it. Every table is dusty and crusty. Save yourself the risk of infection.

Tiffany Phu I got a gel mani pedi without making an appointment and they accommodated me quickly. I liked that they had 2 people working on me at once so it’s more efficient. The place is very clean, friendly nail techs, and I enjoyed the quality of work. I would be back!

Megna Bhan If I could give zero starts I would!!!!! Got my nails done on Monday and they started peeling Tuesday morning. They are so rude went to go get them removed after such a horrible job on the nails and they kept moving me from one desk to another, talking in their own language loudly yelling at me. After such an horrible job I had to get the nails removed and they charged me ten dollars for that when it was their technicians fault. This is my first and last time here, and I advise not going here.

Alondra Carranza I came to this place because my friend recommended it , and because the reviews have beautiful nails, but the person that did my nails rushed and was harsh they need to focus on the person they’re doing nails to not the Next person coming in , my PLUS is that I didn’t get CUTICLE OIL after my nails were done , you can see in the picture how dry and messed up they are. And they charged me 60$

Manisha Kumar Helen is amazing. I went to take off my bridal nails which were acrylics and she took care of my nails so gently. I got a lavender gel manicure and she proceeded to work efficiently but very good. She also gave me a hand/arm massage. I work on the computer & also an esthetician so my arms and hands are constantly sore. Thank you Helen. You did a wonderful job. She is my go to now!

Erica Jackson Long is amazing! He’s literally my favorite nail tech. Definitely call if you want him - He’s very popular and is the owner so his schedule is pretty booked but its so worth it!

Nohemi Gomez This was my first time getting my nails done since 2011. My first time was with a very tired lady that my family requested to come over to do all the nails of the ladies at the house. It was awful for me, and I stayed away from nail salons for a very long time. With my birthday approaching, I decided to come here on a whim. Everyone was so friendly and the workers really seemed to enjoy working there. While they mostly speak between each other in their language, it didnt bother me. The two ladies that worked on me were very gentle and sweet. I had pedicures and gel nails for my feet and nail extensions with powder dip on my hand. They had a wide variety of colors and glitters. I would give 5 stars if it wasnt for the fact that some of my nails are slightly crooked. I notice very small details since I have a bit of OCD. The tip of one finger is missing a little bit of glitter. Overall, my nails are lightweight and evenly done. My toe nails were made to look their best in their natural state, and for that, Im so very thankful. I can file my nails to be as even as I want them to. I got Medium Almond Shaped Nails. Pink shade 34 and a glitter that has white, baby pink and baby blue. My toes are 152 pink. The ladies have gentle hands and a careful eye. I will consider coming back for holidays ahead.

Shayla Selva This was the place I recommended my family and friends and even trusted enough to bring my co worker who is extremely picky. Nina is great but unfortunately became busier and running 2 businesses can be challenging if you want to book her. Then the next best manicurist left and I had no choice but to keep getting someone different all the time. Unfortunately this last time was the last time. Turns out I got a pedicure that ended up giving me an infection that took almost 2 months to heal! My doctor said it was caused by unclean or unsanitary tools. I had come in to do a pedicure and had asked the young lady to please remove what seemed to be an in grown and she did. Although very painful I trusted her enough to do the work to avoid a doctor. This was a mistake because apparently I ended up getting an infection caused by using unclean tools. I was on antibiotics for 10 days and could not wear closed toe shoes. I was in allot of pain and discomfort. I loved the this place; it was my go to place where I can just Relax for an hour and a half and forget all my troubles but I will no longer be going there. Nina is amazing! She always was very clean and cautionary with me but I cannot speak the same for all of her staff members. I wish them the best though.I have not gotten a professional pedicure since then out of fear and I am very skeptical to trust another salon but I know I will find the perfect one for me.

Keda Williams I am a new customer who just moved to the Hayward area from Richmond and this was the closest nail shop to my apartment. I called to make an appointment for a pedicure upon arrival. Tran was very kind sweet and nice and did amazing job on my pedicure, this will be my new favorite shop and I can’t see myself going anywhere else honestly, one of the best service I’ve ever had in a long time. Thank you for the awesome job you did and you’ll see me soon. I see from the reviews about pricing honestly to me her prices are very reasonable compared to other shops that I’ve seen or heard from my female friends how much they’re paying for a simple pedicure you can’t beat if you want GEL have to remember yesterday‘s price isn’t today’s price we’re in inflation at the moment so everyone has to slightly rise prices to make ends meet but it’s worth that extra. Lis Ray I have been looking for a Nail salon since I moved to the East bay. I am so grateful to have found this place! Very friendly and the prices are reasonable compared to other places. Trinh did my nails just the way I like it! plus the lady who did my pedicure gave me a good massage which my feet really needed. I highly recommend this spa and will be returning again and again. Maria Peralta I decided to give this salon a try since it’s really close to me and I really like it. The two ladies that have done my pedicure have done a good job and take their time. The place is clean. It’s been rare that I have to wait & when I have or seen others wait. They try to get work done in a timely manner. Trinh is great!! She seems to be well organized and caring. I’ve had full sets, gel, and hard gel, and the work has lasted plus the prices are fair.

Briana Banks This was my first time here at Aria Nails. I found the establishment on TikTok. Greeted at the front, staff were inviting. I came in for a pedicure. I’m a French girlie, so that’s the route I went! Tee did my pedi and she was awesome. She took her time, was very gentle , friendly and she also made sure I was satisfied with my base color. The shop was also clean annd aesthetically pleasing. I will definitely be back. Thank you Tee.

Dana Ho This place is the bomb. I guess excited every time I come here. Best pedicure / manicure I ever had . This time I opt for acrylic, I was skeptical at first but they came out great. Jocelyn Sandoval First time here.. Great experience! Plenty of parking. Salon was clean and quiet. Got gel-x nails not many nail shops offer gel-x. Got a pedicure done at same time. Will definitely be back. Appreciate the discount for cash payment.

Happy Love Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend I visited this salon for a manicure on my birthday, expecting a relaxing time. I asked for a simple manicure with no gel or color. During the service, the technician used a coarse file on my nail beds. I trusted her as a professional, but when she said she was done, my nails were full of deep scratches. I politely asked for a finer file, but she pretended not to understand, called over another technician, and walked away. The second person was upset with me and only offered to apply a top coat, which started peeling off just hours later. Overall, I left feeling anxious and disappointed. The service was poor, and the experience was stressful. I do not recommend this salon.

Danh Tran Tee was my last-minute nail tech this time around, and she did a fabulous job on my nails...Im very happy with the nail designs and color that we both agreed on for the holiday! Ill definitely see her from now on..

Yasmeen Hussain I came here for the first time to just have a pedicure done. The woman who did my pedicure was amazing. I think she goes by Cindy. Disappointed their basic pedicure doesnt include lotion because all pedicures should. What I was more amazed by was a customer who walked in to have her nail fixed from getting a pedicure previously a few days ago. They fixed it free of charge and were even willing to completely redo all her toe nails because she couldnt remember the matching color. Luckily they were able to find the matching color. The woman who came in was very particular and a bit quirky so her personality may come off as being difficult, although she was very polite. Staff was very nice and accommodating to her.

PButta Glasper Ivan did an amazing job , I showed him a picture and he delivered!! His was even better than the photo! Pleased is an understatement I’m very picky and I am so happy I found Ivan!!! The salon is beautiful and clean everyone is friendly and professional

Lilianna Rose Lux nails & spa is my go to !!! I’ve never left that nail salon unsatisfied!! I added some of my favorite sets Ivan’s done ! Definitely recommend him for nails and Lynn for pedicures !! She’s amazing as well ! A very welcoming staff. I love it here!!

Emma Chang July 2022: updated to 5 stars! Rose did an amazing job removing old gel and completing a gel manicure in 45 minutes. She was gently in removing my cuticles and always asked between steps if I was satisfied. This set was $40+tip. You get 5% off if you pay with cash! March 2022: I got a gel manicure for $35 plus a shimmery topper for $5. They are offering 20% off at the moment since they opened recently. They offer chop shop prices in a very luxurious setting. I asked for a nude and black ombre but my tech tried and failed at it, and the other techs didnt seem to know how to do an ombre either. She nicked my flesh when trimming my cuticles and I bled quite a bit so I hope she is more careful with future guests. I have left over gel on my skin that will flake away in the shower, so you really are getting what you paid for. She was pretty quick and finished in about an hour. I think Ill come back and try with a different tech.

Kristina valencia I came here for the first time because I seen the google reviews and they were good. My first impression of the place is it is clean with alot of seating and very welcoming and kind workers. I was greeted and asked what I came in for. I was seated instantly and showed the picture of what I wanted. Helen was my nail tech. She was so nice and recommended me to get gel x because I wanted acrylic me being my old-school self.. I decided to take her advise and Im so happy I did. My nails have never looked this beautiful and feel so light. I will be coming here regularly. Thank you Helen for your kindness and work. I am glad I gave this salon a try.

VIOLA I came to the salon for the first time today to renew my gel nails and I am very happy with the nails that Wendy did for me. Her work is precise and careful. The salon is beautiful, the manager at the reception is very nice. I am glad that I came here today. I will definitely come back next time. I recommend it to every lady who wants to have beautiful nails.Thank you Wendy !

Gricelda Hernandez LMT Ethan, Diana and Mari were amazing. The nail spa is super clean and beautiful every time we visit. We get our hair washed and massaged here, our pedicure and manicure. We love it here, there is plenty of parking space and all kinds of food around the shop is the perfect spot in the city of Hayward even two blocks away from the freeway entrance.

Julie Le I had an amazing experience at this nail shop! I initially had an appointment at another salon at 11, but they were starting on someone else when I arrived. Thankfully, I called this place as a walk-in on Saturday and was seen in just 10 minutes! The aesthetic is beautifully clean and inviting, creating a perfect atmosphere to relax. Jacy was incredibly professional and quick, ensuring my nails looked great in no time. The prices are fantastic for the quality of service provided. I loved every moment of my visit and will definitely be coming back soon. I highly recommend others check it out—you won’t be disappointed!

Hayley Hickson I come here every two weeks to get a new set with Tiffany and every month I get a pedicure with Mei Li! Tiffany is an expert nail artisan and she takes great pride in her work - whatever vision you have, she will do her best to recreate it! She’s a natural artist and can create her own ideas if you feel adventurous! Mei Li gives a great pedicure and you will leave soft and refreshed! Both ladies have a wonderful presence and will make you feel perfectly at home!

Ashley Keener I had high hopes for this place since it had good reviews, but want to warn others to CHECK THE PRICE FOR SERVICES PRIOR TO YOUR SERVICE! When we went to pay the lady at the counter gave me a total and no breakdown. I asked her if she could break down the costs for us and she seemed hesitant which made me feel like I was being overcharged. I was already feeling a type of way because I had a bad encounter with my pedicure. She broke it down on a post it note(shown in pic) andseemed hesitant to give me a menu so my fiancé had to go and grab one so I could compare prices. I asked why my fiancés manicure was $50 instead of $45. She said it was because he asked for a longer massage. I sat right next to him and told her he did not so she agreed to “discount” it the $5. Then we went over my full set and I asked why my full set was being charged $75 instead of $65. She told me that it was because my nails were really long. I showed both her and the lady who did my nails that I definitely did not have long nails(photo attached). They then proceeded to tell me that the gel full set is $55 and the ombré is $20 more. I asked why there was an ombré cost for $65 under the gel cost and how that was different than what I got. The lady then proceeded to tell me they just changed their prices but did not change it on the menu yet. So I was given a false reason for the $5 charge for a manicure and THREE different explanations for a $10 overcharge on my full set. It was very shady and I now know I need to always ask for a breakdown when I go anywhere because of the way I was treated here. In regard to the services, my fiancé was happy with his manicure and pedicure. I was also happy with my full set. My pedicure on the other hand I was not pleased with. ESPECIALLY it being an $80 pedicure. I first asked if she could apply acrylic on my big toenail since I previously broke that toe and the nail was messed up. I told her I wanted it to match the other big toe nail. She added so much acrylic and made it so wide on the sides. It was drastically bigger than my other big toe. I asked if she could file it and you could tell she was annoyed. It got to the point where the lady doing my full set had to step in and fix my toe. We ended up doing the other big toe with acrylic since it was so much bigger and it was $10 to do the two acrylic nails. I told her I wanted square nails as long as she could make all my toe nails square. She just made my big toes square and did not file the rest. (See pics of my toes) At this point I was over it and decided I would file my nails and fix it myself because she had such a negative attitude when I was asking her to fix it. All in all, 3 of the 4 services were good. BUT the interaction at the end during payment is reason enough for me to never return. Please at least do your due diligence to make sure you are being charged correctly.

Kam De Leon-Fong Jacy and Ms. Be (Nguyet) did an amazing job tag teaming my nails. I wanted to get a mani and pedi that would last for my wedding ceremony and after. This is my first time getting acrylic extensions, and chose to schedule an appointment with Jacy due to someone recommending her on these reviews. I had originally scheduled my mani and pedi with Jacy, but Ms. Be was available so she helped! I asked for cat eye French nails and wanted my nails a little longer than my nailbed. I chose gel for my pedicure and Ms. Be was also able to do the cat eye design on my toes. Things to know: - Schedule an appointment ahead of time, over the phone is best though they do have online scheduling. - Very spacious and clean facility; they offer you free tea, coffee, or water and have a bathroom onsite. - Updated prices in person on a menu, plus extensive services like waxing and lash extensions. - Bring cash for tipping. You can pay via credit card but there’s a $2 service fee. They also offer Zelle, Venmo, and Cash app options! I am pleasantly surprised with my first appointment, as I am a very introverted person. The whole appointment was relaxing, and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you to the Little Bird Nail Bar team!!! I got so many compliments on the nail work that I had gotten done. Overall I spent $160 (services, tip, and card fee) for everything!

Clarisse Piczon I got both a mani pedi and it was a great experience. My mother and I made an appt prior and was seated promptly with 4 ladies getting straight to work on us! Sara, the sweet woman who did my nails, understood the assignment fr! She did exactly what I asked for in my inspo picture, with a very crisp and thin pink french tip, but made it even better by recommending a little nail design. She constantly checked on me throughout the process if I liked my nails, and was upfront about the prices and add-ons. I highly recommend Sara, as she’s highly skilled, and gorgeous too :) would love to come back. But unfortunately I’m from out of town!
