Kusumakumari Vanteru I got dip powder nail manicure at this salon. The experience was not good, my skin was hurting when the nail artist was trimming the inner borders, and the nail filing shape was not at all good, all of them were uneven and the final finish had so many bumps. I would not visit this location again. The artist was uninterested and said another customer is waiting for her.

Johnny Duong I’ve been here a few times now. They have excellent prices and deals, do a great job (techs are all awesome) and it’s a very inviting environment. I came here this week after work sucked the absolute life out of me and I left feeling cleaned up, feminine & relaxed. Thank you for your amazing work Tina who is a new owner of this place & new management. It was just remodeled & grand opening last Friday. My manicure and pedicure are fabulous and excellent. Your skills and care are evident in every detail. Thank you & will come back soon.

Thalita Kirmse Kim always does a great job with my nails. I have been going to her for over a year now and she never disappoints. Whenever I want to try something different , I bring her a picture and she does her best to get exactly how I want. Last time I asked her for the “ donut glaze nails” and I have been getting so many compliments! Love it ❤️

Akansha Deepak Terrible customer service. When we got in to the store, the lady forced me to sit down and wouldn’t even let me select a nail polish color. Then once she started my gel manicure, I somehow managed to pick a color, but she refused to apply that color. Instead she chose a hideous color that clashes with my skin tone to put on me because SHE liked it. She also kept scratching my nails with her fingers and made them bleed. Save yourself the trouble and never go here again. Most of their paint colors are dried out and they do a shoddy job.

Kate Mina has such precision. In all of my years of manicures, no one has taken the time and had such a high quality outcome with dip or gel nails as this place. The other manicurists are also good! They are sanitary, professional and well priced. I live in Santa Cruz but work in Cupertino and I will continue to come back to them despite the distance!

Wenge Zhang La Bella Nail on Stevens Creek is a very friendly and clean nail salon. I have been going here for the past few months. I enjoyed the interaction with the friendly employees and the good quality of work there. I tried gel nail and loved how it looked even after a week. My nail used to break some times, it seemed the gel nail application also strengthened my nails.

Ramona Hockett Amy did an excellent job with my pedicure. Very clean, quiet, and relaxing. Prices were fair too.

Shikiko Washington Pedicures are consistent and fine, but their acrylic sets can use work. The two times I went, they have not been good work at all. Will not go back for hand nail designs/acrylics. Reply to owners: while I was sitting in the chair, I did tell the nail tech that I was unhappy with the design. She also knew that she took forever to get the nails done after struggling for over 2 hours (she had to keep restarting my nails since she did not know how to do most of the designs, especially with the hard gel technique) and I needed to leave (which we both acknowledged). In addition to this, I asked the nail tech if she was capable of doing the design before starting so we can be as efficient with time as possible. She told me yes, which was the furthest from the truth. If she would’ve told me no, I would’ve changed the design to something closer to her scope or just left (which was something I was originally planning to do). Next time, be honest about your skill set so customers dont have to be at the salon for over 4 hours for a mediocre experience. Thanks

Emma and Aldana Sisters forever Do not go here for waxing. Horrendous $35 for them to not even get all the hair. Wax wasn’t working for some reason. NAILS were really bad not what I asked for and I corrected her from the picture… said she would change it later never did then got upset. We ended up having another lady finish. Kim is amazing for acrylic nails. These picture are 40 minutes after the appointment. lol highly disappointed. I also included the reference photo we showed the lady.

Prices are very affordable, and it is evident that the staff care about their customers. I got a geometric abstraction kind of design on one of the nails, and the technician made sure that she did not miss a spot! I got bottles of water without asking for them. My daughter loved her full set nails too! It is evident that they stay on top of cleaning and sanitation too.

Havanna Herrera They charged me $85 for these nails that would usually only cost $45-$50. I would’ve even paid $60 with tip but $85 is actually insane for these simple nails.not only do some of the the French tips look shaky the Z looks like it was drawn on with a marker.

Thi Nguyen Got my nails done here for the first time. Tina and Lory did my manicure and pedicure pretty well. Loved the color. It lasted me almost 1 month (manicure) and 3 months (pedicure) without chipping. Definitely recommend this nail shop!

Erin Jeon If you go to any nail salon in San Jose, come to Perfect Nail & Spa! All the ladies here were so sweet and welcoming. I walked in without an appointment and was immediately seated with Kathy - who by the way is so kind and does a great job at making sure your nails are absolutely perfect. The salon itself is clean, organized, and gorgeous and the prices were so reasonable. I was offered complimentary drinks, snacks and more. Would 1000% come again!

My nails were not shaped, just simply cut and lightly filed. The gel paint job was thick and gloopy and it did not cure properly. To the point where I had to ask her to do two nails over again because they were so bad and she still rushed it.

Mika Ho I went to this nail salon yesterday, and it was a terrible experience. The technician made me bleed while removing my cuticles, and they didnt offer a discount. They didnt disinfect the tools before using them. Even though I was bleeding, I still gave a tip, but the owner just said it was the normal amount and didnt offer any discount. This is how my wound looks a day later—its still bleeding and hurts when it gets wet. Im very disappointed and giving a bad review.

My husband gets his manicures with Mimi, who is not only meticulous but also so kind and personable. The owners are warm, welcoming, and create such a positive atmosphere every time we visit. I’ve been thrilled with all my sets this year, but my Christmas nails were truly a masterpiece—Jackie outdid herself! The photos don’t even do them justice. The attention to detail, quality of work, and friendly environment make this salon stand out. If you’re looking for a place where your nails look fabulous and you feel valued as a client, this is it! Highly recommend.

Swan Lenore (Gilyard) I enjoy patronizing this salon so much. Its CLEAN, never smells, and they are fast. My favorite nail tech, Nhi is pleasant and personable. She can carry on a convo and still do an amazing job on my natural nails. She listens to me and gives my nails a shape that doesn’t easily break. Loving the Chrome finish!

nandani chauhan Worst nail salon experience ever. I’ve given this place multiple chances, hoping it would improve, but it only disappoints me time and again. See the attached pictures for what I asked for versus what they delivered. The design is painfully asymmetrical and untidy, with noticeable bulges on every tip. The manicurist did an awful job and even over-filed my nails to the point where I bled. Instead of apologizing, she used a dirty brush to apply some yellow powder to the wound and carried on with her work. Throughout the session, she continued chatting and laughing in a language I couldn’t understand, which made me feel uncomfortable. At the end, she slapped some moisturizer on my hand, gave it three swipes, wiped off the excess, and said I was done. When I pointed out the glitter mess all over the edges of my nails, she casually said it would come off when I washed my hands. I paid a whopping $75 for this shoddy, careless work. This salon has the worst service, inconsiderate staff, and a completely ‘don’t care’ attitude. I will never go back.

R. Robinson I drove to San Jose from Oakland after seeing my coworker had a fresh full set asked her where she floor them done and she raved about her Perfect 10 expeI loved my nails. I loved the experience. There are a lot of places nearby to venture out to after your appointment or before. Make sure you call beforehand to book an appointment. Space is limited considering the National pandemic. Overall, I Appreciate the COVID-19 precautions. Ha did a great job executing. I definitely would return.

Sydney Burton Just visiting the area and found Winchester Nails, and they are an AMAZING team. My gel fill was completely painless and relaxing, and it turned out beautifully. The staff is lovely and friendly, and this is the best price I have ever paid for a gel fill. If I was a local this would be my go-to nail salon, hands down. Thanks so much!

Selected organic pedicure and both pedicure part as well as massage part were extremely relaxing. The lady who helped me, Holly, was very friendly and she was working with dedication. Nereida Ramirez BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! I went with my daughter and they ruined our nails. If you don’t want to end up with thin fragile nails don’t go there. They did gel on my nails and they over used the machine and left my nails very thin. They cure your nails and use the machine again after to clean nail polish instead of cleaning as they go. Next day my nail broke so I went back and ended up with two different nail colors. I had to go back again so they could change the color and with another broken nail. They continue using the machine all over again because now I had to get 2 tips on my nails. Even though I asked them not to use it. My daughter had gel as well on her own long nails but guess what?? They over used the machine as well and after a week 8 of her nails broke so she ended up trimming the other 2. I’ve been doing my nails for over 30 years and never!!! Had such a horrible experience where my nails kept breaking. When I talked to the manager and complained about how much they over used the machine she said oh it’s “normal” because of all the chemicals. Did not make any sense! Don’t waste your money in this place.

Sarah A. Overall I had a good experience! My usual nail spot was closed and I needed a last minute appointment. I called this place 10 minutes before arriving and they were able to accommodate me and my friend. The ladies who work here are super nice and attentive. I subtracted one star because the woman who did my nails got a bit of paint on my cuticles and used the drill to remove it after my nails had been cured under the light. It was a bit painful. Parking is also difficult and you’ll more than likely have to park behind the building in a parking lot that doesn’t feel safe. I would probably still go back!

Kathlen M I have updated my review from what I previously wrote to reflect my new experience with Winchester Nail. After seeing my previous review online, the manager contacted me and asked if I’d be willing to come in and let her fix my nails. I accepted and am really pleased with the final result, this is exactly what I wanted. Thank you Tu! You can tell the manager really cares about her customers and providing results her customers are happy with. I was here for the first time about 2 days ago and didn’t have the best experience at first. I am now learning that it was an issue with that nail tech and doesn’t reflect the overall business. I wanted burgundy french tips and chose from the swatches and when she applied it, it looked red. I told her on multiple occasions that it wasn’t my desired color but she didn’t care and was very visibly annoyed with me. Fast forward to today, I am really happy with the final result, though I will say this could have been avoided. But I have great respect for a business who cared enough to reach out and try to make up for the initial experience. Thank you!

Jen Wheelock I had an amazing experience at Orchid Nail Salon today! Kim made my feet look amazing! My feet take a beating when I’m training on the trails. This is my first pedicure since the Pandemic so it’s been a minute. When you book your appointment that hour is yours. There is no one else ahead of you. So you arrive on time and Kim and the other nail technicians will take good care of you.

Nicole Salman Louie and her team are incredible. I have been to A LOT of nail salon. Louie may be the best and most talented person to ever do my nails. She is great! I even let a time nail (see photos) and she made me a fake one (also see photos), and you couldnt even tell! Shes very talented.

alexandria delguidice THEY SOMEHOW DELETED MY REVIEW— beware! So this was my first time coming here. I really wanted to love this place a lot. But look at my nails. For one it took 2.5 hours to do my nails. All I wanted was stiletto nails. It’s been 3 days and look at my nails! My gems came off the next day. The nails are peeling off of the gel and my nails are chipped! I had Kim and I spent $100 on these nails including tip. These people delete negative reviews and are extremely defensive and hateful when someone writes negative reviews. DO NOT COME HERE!! They deleted my review instead of offering a refund or offering to fix it at all.

A L These girls are the hardest working team in this field/profession, but its not just their skill sets alone. They bend over backwards for clients. I have witnessed them in difficult situations that clearly were not by their doing, and yet Louis, Kim, and/or Sara are always willing to listen and find solutions.

Sharon Arroyo Hernandez I had high hopes for this place, because of all the nail art they have on yelp Before they got started on my nails I showed them a picture of what I wanted and asked them if they were sure they could do them, I told her that if she couldnt then thats fine, I would just get something more simple, the lady said yes she could do them and told me it was gonna be $70. I thought It was a but pricey but I didnt mind because the nail pictures on yelp and on their website looked like they were high quality. When she first applied the nails, one of them looked crooked and I asked her if she could re apply it. She said it was fine and that it would "fix" it self after she applies the acrylic. Again I trusted the process because of their website pictures. 2 hours later she finally finished and my nail was still crooked and the lines are so shaky and thick I cant even get them re-done tomorrow because Im leaving for 3 weeks on my vacation. Im so sad and disappointed, I wish she would of told me she couldnt do them and I would have picked something else. $70 is a lot of money for the low quality nails I got. My pedicure was nice I guess.

Meghann Hodskins I would give zero stars if I could. My technician rushed through my pedicure in 7 minutes…. And spent 25 on the polish because she did not know how to paint nails. My feet are still rough, my cuticles are chopped up, my polish is uneven and I paid $50 to basically still need a pedicure.

Alexa Westerbeck Im pretty new to acrylics and had an unfortunate experience at another salon that resulted in a very laborious process to remove them. Celine took such good care of me, was very patient and was always checking in to make sure I was happy. It was a completely painless experience (the last place had me grimacing the entire time and I had sore nails for two days) and I could not be happier. She was very meticulous and was not rushing through the process at all. Thank you!!

Irene Guzman I really enjoyed my experience. I walked in to get a manicure and pedicure. The place was really busy and they were still able to get to me quickly. I was there for about an hour and a half. Both ladies were really nice and did a great job. Thy did my manicure.

I have followed manly from her last shop just because she’s that Great! She is not like some stories you here where they recommend a bunch of unnecessary add-ons, she’s the type that will tell you I will clean your feet but not put the gel or any powder so your nails will get stronger or say your nails need a rest to prevent damage! Manly doesn’t care about making the “Big Sale” what she cares about is her work and the quality and helpful support she brings along with her brilliance. She’s gone out of her way to bring me nail polish for strength and anti bacterial medicine for and when my feet are in their wild zone phase ! I come religiously to manly. I started out with almost no nails on my feet but manly brought all that back with the proper sanitation and cleaning! She truly is the best ! Ask for Manly for your pedicure I promise you’ll never be disappointed or go to anyone else , she gives you what you need , in addition to what you want !!!!

Claudia Anukam Honestly, this was one of the worst gel manicures I have ever received. The nail tech that was doing my nails was too rough when doing my nails and it was not a clean finish. Instead of using a brush and nail polish remover to clean up the sides that smeared polish, she used her own nails. She also filed too close to my skin and now my index finger is so uncomfortable. I only went here because my nail tech was booked that day and I needed my nails done for an event. Also, at the end, she asked, “do you have money for tip?” I always tip but I have never had anybody ask me if I was going to tip. Overall, it was just a bad experience for me. I will not go back.

Bhanu Sethi I wouldn’t recommend this place at all for nails. They changed prices later at the time of billing. My finger even bleeded during the nail art scrapping. Also they said they can exactly match the design in the picture I showed but later it was no where close. They didn’t even have the same colors, so I felt it was like betraying the trust of a customer. If you don’t have the right resources, you shouldn’t commit to the service. Also, the staff is less, so you get divided attention. She did my base coat and then made me wait for 15 minutes as she had to manicure someone else who was also waiting since long. Lastly, when she saw unhappiness from my side with the service, she said it would have been better if you used extensions- this is something they should recommend in the beginning instead of an excuse when the service doesn’t turn out to be upto the mark. I have been to luxury nail salons in bay area who have done an amazing job with better prices too! Bad experience!

Shruti Seth I walked in today to this place and the whole staff was very rude and mean I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. They have treated really badly. I only asked them for removing my acrylic nails and she was super aggressive and disrespectful in giving the service. She started taking off the nails and in between she said “it’s very hard to take your nails off” which is really annoying and she left the nails in the middle of the process. She also said “you can go to different places” which is really weird on her part. The worst place I have ever been to.

Grace Reasonable price, don’t expect good customer service or good results tho. The lady H who did my pedicure doesn’t have very good manner. I asked about to remove the dead skin from my feet, she said if you want more, you need to pay more lol but I guess that’s the culture? I told her that the color wasn’t even and she said I know I know, not very patient. That they keep talking in their own language makes me feel awkward.

Komal Sheth I usually go here and the services are good but today the person who did my manicure completely ruined my nails design and was struggling to do it. My nails are small but quality and design is not good and what I wanted is not worth the money I paid. I asked that I wanted matte nails but my ring finger nail is not, my little finger nail is also not smooth finish and I wanted fireworks in middle which clearly does not look like it. Edit: Thanks to the staff they called me back and fixed it and this time the other person did a much better job.
