Skiler Padilla I can’t recommend Peter enough! I hadn’t stepped foot in a salon since 2017 due to an awful experience, but I knew I needed a professional for a big hair change. Peter completely exceeded my expectations and made me feel so so comfortable from start to finish. He’s incredibly kind, thoughtful, and personable—he really listened to my ideas, but also took the time to explain what would work best for my hair. I left the salon absolutely in love with my new look! I went for a dark red color, a cut, and help with my bangs. Peter even introduced me to flat bangs, which I didn’t even know existed, and they suit me perfectly! The whole experience was amazing, and I’m so happy I trusted Peter with my hair. If you’re looking for a stylist who truly cares about his clients and has the skill to back it up, Peter is your guy. I’ll definitely be back—thank you so much, Peter!

Suzanne Potts Jessica did such an amazing job! I’m always nervous going to a new stylist when traveling and she immediately put me at ease. She understood what I wanted and executed my vision perfectly! If I lived in the area, she’d be the only person I let touch my hair.

Carolyn McGarvey Peter styled my hair for several years (and worked many miracles) when he worked in Tucson, so I wanted to visit him at Bloom Salon when I was traveling in Napa. Peter always makes me feel incredibly comfortable and leaves me feeling beautiful every time he does my hair. I am sorry he has left his Tucson salon, but Bloom Salon is extremely lucky to have him!

Keana Daneshmand My experience here was great. I went in to dye my hair a dark red and they not only gave me exactly what I was looking for, but my hairstylist Bre was professional and so funny! I had a great time and even though I was on a major time crunch, she got me in and out as quick as she could giving me an hour to spare. They also gave me a hair treatment and the price was much cheaper than I had anticipated. Overall, ill definitely be coming back!

Justine Labbé Edited: Would easily give 0 star if that was possible. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The price is pretty high as well so you would expect the customer service to match it. They literally never replied to me when I tried to contact them through email, phone or online days before appointment. Never got any reply, I finally sent a last email in the morning of the appointment, being concerned to have heard from no one. And then, they withdrawn $200 without any service provided. When I emailed them again asking for answers, an employee finally replied saying they never received anything and half accused me of lying. Few hours after, Kyle Estudillo emailed me that they did, indeed, received my communications and then stopped replying to me. Absolutely unprofessional. Avoid this place if you willing to pay a lot of money for quality service and expect high customer service level. Because you ll not find that here. Heard poor customer experience from relatives around me since this happened to me. So I m not surprised anymore. Disappointed by the way they handled all the situation and could not even reply to me before the appointment. I was not expecting to be treated so poorly when I booked this appointment. Not a professional way to treat client from my opinion. You can definitely find better hairdresser around.

Monica Casillas Gutierrez I was fortunate enough to have met Brittany about 12 years ago. I was searching for a new stylist (after my previous one moved out of the state.) Since day one, she has been simply amazing. Professional, friendly, creative and knowledgeable, truly everything you would want in someone whos handling your precious hair. She is the absolute best colorist in town, hands down!

Susan Orenstein This salon changed my sense of what a salon can be - it has become one of my favorite places in Napa, and I always leave in a happy mood with an amazing haircut (and other things) I love. I started going because I happened to meet Erin, who embodies all its great energy -- as the boutique manager she is also your own personal hair, skin and beauty consultant, who can advise on whatever you might need. She is extremely knowledgeable, positive and easy to talk to, and her suggestions are thoughtful and on the mark. She has remembered details about my skin and hair routine, making the perfect suggestions of samples to try (which have become my new favorites). She is not just a trusted guide on what can easily feel like an overwhelming array of products, but is always so supportive and brightens your day. Erin introduced me to Brenna, an incredible stylist who has really enhanced the look of my wavy hair (both color and cut). Brenna also has a wonderful down-to-earth, easygoing vibe, mixed with her own singular expertise -- on our first consult, she gave me styling tips that transformed my look, and she has given my hair new vibrancy. I also love walking through the salon with her, picking out fun pieces of jewelry or bags to consider. The salon offers truly unique pieces at very reasonable prices -- I receive many compliments on items I have purchased there. Really, every person Ive encountered at Bella Capelli has been lovely, and I feel so comfortable walking in. Im not someone who especially liked going to salons in the past, but now I really look forward to it and have gone to some of their special events too, which have been great. I highly recommend checking it out, and saying hi to Erin and Brenna!

Despite my thin hair, Brits expertise makes it look full and voluminous. She is not only enjoyable, lively, and knowledgeable, but she also pays attention to your preferences. She has that special touch, understanding exactly what you want. Brittany has been cutting, highlighting, restoring, fluffing, and fixing my hair for years. You can rely on her. These are the kind of recommendations you seek when looking for a new salon, stylist, or skincare expert - the ones where you wish you had a trusted source. Brittany is your go-to for hair, while Erin is perfect for hair products and addressing aging skin concerns. I adore these women, as I trust them to enhance my appearance and confidence.

Karen Feazell Whirlwind is one of the best places to get your hair done. The staff is so professional and sweet and Stacy. The owner is really on top of things. The salon is always clean and she always decorates for different holidays. I just love to stop by sometimes and see how she’s decorated it. I always get my hair done here and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s one of the best highly recommend.

Susan Bell Whirlwind Blow Dry Lounge was my hairstylist for my June 3, 2023 wedding. Stacie was a fantastic communicator and helped to oversee all the wedding planning with my wedding planner. Lucy and the team handled my hair on both my rehearsal dinner and wedding day. On my wedding day, the team handled all eight of my bridesmaids and my mom, the Mother of the Bride. I am so pleased about the experience with Whirlwind. It took me a while to finalize my wedding day style, and I appreciated their patience and flexibility in allowing me to do different trials along the way. I absolutely loved how everyone looked on my wedding day and they totally brought my bridal vision to life. I would totally recommend Whirlwind to other brides or anyone who is looking for an amazing hair experience while in Napa.

Katelyn Kelly Visiting from out of town, I had a blowout done by Thomas yesterday before a dinner celebration. The service was excellent and my hair turned out perfect for the occasion! I will be sad to wash it. If I am ever in the area again I would definitely come back!

Nicole Lucy was so patient and understanding with me and how I wanted to my makeup done. I did 3 very different makeup trials and she killed it on the day of the wedding!! My bridesmaids and moms all looked stunning too, and makeup artists were patient with everyone during the getting ready craziness! I came a few days ago to get a haircut and a beard trim and the lady with the apron was being rude and seemed like she didnt want to cut my hair since she rolled her eyes when I walked in, I was charged $55 on my card when their board said a different price, Do not come here!

J. Candelaria Great haircut. I was a walk in and I only had to wait for one person to finish up. Very comfortable atmosphere and my barber was amazing. Listened to what I said and was in and out in no time. 22$ for my hair cut and it looks great. Definitely check out this small gem located next to Ranch Market.

Bob Morris David is the best! He knows how to cut, color and do high and low lights. So, whenever were in town, we make an appointment to have David do my wifes hair. Every few months works out great to do the highlights. The cutting is the problem in-between. I try to do so trimming, but of course this is touch and go with how it turns out. Late time I trimmed too high and uneven line. Best if you just go see David by appointment only!

Austin Martin Great service beautiful salon, but a review will be a review the thing people should know about this place is that its a business that has other hair dressers in it so when placing a review please post about the salon and not the hairdresser themself or at least mention that your opinion is this way because so and so did my hair.

Valeria M David is a really rude unprofessional guy who likes to harass people. Don’t waste your time coming here if you want to be disrespected.

Christine Blanton David Putnam is by far the best hair stylist in Napa. I have been going to different stylists for 10 years now since I moved to Napa from SF. He took my fine thin hair and gave it texture and volume and transformed my hair. He understood exactly what I wanted and actually listened. He cares about his clients. He is a creative master and technical hairstylist and I highly recommend him! Be sure you make an appointment before you go to the salon because he gets very busy.

Beth C. Michelle is meticulous when it comes to your hair needs. I love my hair being dyed a specific way, and she nails it every time. Id highly recommend Michelles Salon to anyone looking for perfect hair.

Jessi Lucas It was perfect. It was an hour wait. So not good if you are in a hurry. But if you have time its worth it. They are all very nice. They dont rush you, even when there is a lot of people waiting. The prices are great. And there skills are on point!! I had a design done, and it was much better than the place I went previous. I just found this place. But I wont be going any where else!

Ecotrell Cotrell I was recommended to this salon for my wedding. First she passed me on to an unexperienced stylist. When she arrived she was kind but unprofessional. Said she had practiced my hairstyle that I sent to her ALL week. It was clearly her first time doing the hairstyle. It was a rats nest. I had to redo it myself. I was very disappointed. She didnt seem to care the day of. Now I cant get a word back from her or the salon. Too bad people feel that conducting poor business is acceptable.

Deanna Ludaescher Great! Courtney Phelps cuts both of my sons hair about every 6 weeks. They love going to her, she is beautiful, young and fun. She always engages the boys into to talking about whats going on in each others lives, mostly work. And for my oldest son its usually college and work and how much he enjoys having his own apartment now. And whatever is going on in Courtneys life of dance and competitions (she loves doing that sooo much). Its kind like her calling in life. Recommend everyone to try this shop, it is comprised of young adults who have relevance to things going on for the 20+ people in Napa and you get a great hair cut while you gossip. Wouldnt take my 2 sons anywhere else!! Props Courtney = youve got my vote

Sabrina Labra Beto is so amazing. He has been cutting my husbands hair for about a year now so we decided to take my 11 month old in for his first cut and Beto was so patient and did a great job. He was so understanding about it being so new for my baby, worked with my baby to make him comfortable, and also did a fantastic job with the haircut! (Both my husband & baby have curly hair).

Grey Skold Always a great cut and a good price. Find the barber that suits your style and you’ll be golden. In general, you can’t go wrong though. Loads of parking and walk-ins are welcome. Nice decor and waiting area. They’ve usually got sports center going or whatever local game is currently on. Be sure to tip your barber!

Upon hearing my desperate situation Cassie took pity on me and gave me the best haircut I have had in a long time!! Josh Hsieh Came here for a hot towel shave, and it said on their website that they offer it, for head and face with a beard line up. Barber said she can only cut the head with clippers. I said that was fine because I have a hurt shoulder. She stopped after shaving my head. I asked about my beard and she said I never said anything my about it. I havent been n to a barber in years because Ive always done it myself of. What a horrible experience. Wouldnt recommend this place to anybody.

Andreas Aguilar Got a haircut today at Stags barbershop booked an appointment with Edgar. Arrived early so waited patiently for my turn in the chair which is fine. When I was greeted by Edgar he wasn’t very polite and when I told him what I wanted but he seemed to be irritated and in a bad mood but it was whatever I’m sure it’s been a long week since it was the day before Christmas Eve. Got my beard and hair and after only 20 minutes he was already done. After he handed me the mirror to ask if I liked it, he didn’t even do everything that I had asked. And after I noticed, he remembered he said just said “oh I forgot” I felt very rushed and not valued as a customer at all. After this experience I know I will not be returning my business to their shop again.

Rochelle Nelson Hannah is the best hair cutter in Napa. Ive gone to hair school and I know what to look for. Ive had many people ruin my hair. Ive gone to some of the best hair salons in Napa. In fact, the last cut I got cost $300. I had to go back to Hannah to have her correct it.

Randa R I am not usually one to leave a negative review, this place was my favorite to get a haircut at. However, I went today to get a haircut for my little brother, and the lady that cut his hair seems to be new. She was rude, and didn’t listen to what we preferred. When my mom saw her cutting too much hair she got concerned and told her that’s enough, she ignored my mom’s concerns and told her to go sit and let her do her job. My brother usually doesn’t complain when cutting his hair, but he started crying and saying she’s hurting him, and she didn’t care. Later on a different lady came and took over, because she saw that my mom was frustrated. For someone to work in this industry must be, polite, understanding, friendly, and most importantly listen to customers concerns and preferences. And she clearly didn’t have any of these features. Choosing this field because it’s easy educational steps, and because it makes you good money isn’t enough, so please be better at choosing your workers as people concernes and feelings matter!!!!! I wish I knew her name, unfortunately I don’t, but I hope one day she’ll get treated the way she treated us!!

Shawn King Great clips in Napa. Wonderful experience, my 11 year old daughter got her first real hair cut this time. She would usually just get a trim once a year but this time cane with a picture and got it cut to her shoulders. It could not have been better a better experience. And affordable too!

So I decided to give the Great Clips in the Silverado shopping area at Trancas and Soscol and Im glad I did. Patty cut my hair and did a great job with all my waves and thinning going on. Cindy Stahl Received a terrible hair cut on July 3, 3017. Based on 3 prior satisfactory haircuts, I trusted stylist Tami, even though her technique as she was cutting my hair looked "unusual" to me. She used a curling iron on my hair, so I didnt see the extent to which she randomly "chopped up" that front section of hair that frames your face and cut it far too short until the next morning. This random "chopping" occurred elsewhere. Even though I didnt want a layered style, I cant even describe what Tami did as layers. Im baffled and confounded as to why she cut my hair as did.

Marney Tyler I had a fantastic experience at this Ulta location. I don’t visit Ulta very often, I’m not much of a product girl. I went for something specific. The associate who greeted me was incredibly nice and helpful. The associate at checkout was nice and helpful. I’ll absolutely return to this location for future needs! Kione Garcia I would like to echo my experience that was similar to another reviewer. Eyes were definitely on me and my teen daughter the whole time we shopped and then their attitude changed when I spent hundreds at the counter. I am a tomboy but my daughter is a proud girly girl. I wish this staff would come into the 21st century and realize that people of all colors, all fashions can shop make up. But this IS Napa.

Tanya Rivas I gave her a picture for reference and she did the complete opposite. I wanted a brown ombré dye and my hair is literally white... She may be good at haircuts but she has no experience with dying hair. I was very frustrated because it took her 8 HOURS to basically ruin my hair. And she didn’t blend it either.... there is like a line of where a different color starts... no ombré, no blend.

Jessica Parlett I found this place on groupon and saw that Shellie Rivera had a good deal going on so I had messaged her about getting my hair cut and dyed. I was excited to get my hair trimmed and to get my hair colored. When I arrived she seemed nice and listened to what I wanted but it took 30 min just for her to get all her stuff ready and the dye ready. She dyed my hair and I love the color but she left hair dye on my face and asked her to get it off but didnt get it all and it was stuck on there. She started cutting my hair and all I said I wanted a trim so she started cutting my hair and it looked like she was doing a good job and then she blow dry it and didnt straighten it just left it all wavy and ugly so I didnt really get to see how my hair was but it took 3 hours for everything and waS late as is so I had to rush out of there with out looking at my hair and she charged me 124 for everything and I was shocked when I heard that amount when the hair cut and dye was suppose to be 39 on gropon. But I got the hair treatment that cost 45 so it should of been 84 total but she charged me an extra 20 for one ounce Extra hair dye which she never said anything about charging more or I would of had her not do it. And and then another 20 that have no idea where that came from but I didnt even realize that she over charged me until I got in my car so I had text her and called letting her no that she overcharged me and I didnt get anything back for a few days. I had to call the owner about it and she said she would let her no to call me but still didnt. And then when I got home I straighten my hair and just cryed becuase my hair was not even at all and she cut the front way to short and the back was longer and looked horrible. It was a diaster so I tryed calling her and finally answered after few days and told her and she said ya I overcharged u and that I can get the money and I been trying to get it for two weeks now and she never texts me back to meet or calls me or never answer the phone. I cant even wear my hair down until it grows and I just cryed for days and doesnt even offer anything or say sorry. I would not recommend her at all or this place.

Antonia Allegra It can be difficult to find a hair cutting stylist who understands cury/wavy hair, believe me! Without question, my curly/wavy hair LOVES Norma, who is one of the two excellent hair-cutter/stylists at Your Style Family Hair Care in the shopping center on West Imola just before the swooping bridge headed East, over toward Soscol/Home Depot. I have been absolutely happy with Normas cuts for more than five years and look forward to many years/haircuts to come. Norma and Josefina are the friendly, welcoming artists who can see just what your hair needs, and no reservation is necessary! This means, like a barber shop of the past, you just enter on your own schedule, sit for a few minutes while someone elses hair is being cut for about 20-25 minutes, then its YOUR turn. Within minutes, youre out the door, thanks to either of the hair-cutting wizards.
