Tony López I have been a customer for 10 years. Meyda and Lorena are the best. Great service, fast, and very professional. I would recommend to make an appointment or call ahead. Prices are very reasonable! Plenty of street parking or parking lot next door. Closed on Sundays but open until late (8pm ish) Monday through Saturday.

S Carroll This is a really unfortunate review. I enjoyed Berthas company, and she was a kind person. Shes the salon owner and an experienced stylist. Unfortunately, the cut I got was not at all the cut I asked for. I asked for layers all around, but strangely, only the sides were layered. Unfortunately, the back of the hair isnt even. Ill need to go get a corrective cut somewhere else. This was a disappointing service and just not the cut I asked for at all. Updating this review. 2/19- After three calls to the salon and no reply, after posting this review for a month, finally a reply in writing offering corrective service. I already got a corrective cut and the new stylist at another salon was shocked at this poor work. "its uneven and looks rushed". Really bad form for a salon owner to not take responsibility for poor quality work when given the chance. If you have long hair and want to keep long hair keep looking for another salon.

Dina Yared This is an amazing salon, and I’m so glad I found it when I did! I injured both wrists in an accident, and I needed help washing my hair, especially since my hair is so thick and curly. Bertha washed, conditioned, detangled and styled my hair every week for a month. I can’t thank her enough for the kindness she showed me, and for helping me with my hair throughout my recovery process. If you are looking for a salon, look no further! Book with Bertha!

Sam Feldman-Crough Bertha does a fantastic job. I am admittedly not good at describing what I want, but I know when it looks good. Bertha gives me exactly the cut I want - the kind of cut that looks great from day one until the day I next come in, which is hard sometimes with short mens hair. She seems to understand just the right way to make it look natural and relaxed, while precise enough that I can style it daily without much fuss and still get compliments. Shes also great to talk with and so friendly. Everything I want in a stylist! Ill be seeing her for years to come, guaranteed!

penelope milich I went to Be hair studio in hopes to get to my natural hair color of a light brown/ dirty blond. I have a bit past shoulder length, thick, 3b hair, and i have bleached and box dyed my hair prior to this appointment. The last time i colored my hair was a year ago with box dye and the color turned out to be too dark and uneven so i scheduled for a color correction. I got a consultation and a test strand done of bleach with Bertha to make sure my hair wouldnt react with it. I feel like I made my end goal pretty clear of having an even light brown color like my roots. The salon had good service and the staff were kind and professional but Im sad to say i was very disappointed with the results. Instead of a light brown i got a very yellow blond with random highlights of platinum and all over uneven color.

Huang Venus Atmosphere is really nice, they just renovate the interior and add some greens which is really confort. Hair stylist is doing great job for my hair. Love it love it. They have the best price in town for hair cut. For the best result for hair cut, you could ask Mr. Hua.

Jam Zhang The haircutting skills at this salon are decent, but the styling doesn’t really suit me. They tend to prioritize their own taste, which I find rather average. The main issue is that they don’t consult the customer’s opinion during the haircutting process, often leading to dissatisfaction and regret. I’ve been wearing a hat for two weeks straight, hoping my hair will grow out quickly. My first time there, and also my last time.

K M I had a great haircut and overall experience at Honey Salon with Joan. She was very attentive and kind. After discussing what I wanted she pointed out some areas that needed adjustment since the last haircut was growing out a little sparse. I love the end result, she cut nice long layers defining around my face like I wanted. Her little poodle, Suki is a delight. Highly recommend her.

Lara Hull Joan has fantastic style and just ‘gets it’ when I describe what I want! Makes my baby fine hair look great in a pixie cut or an a-line bob. I walk out feeling like a million bucks and get so many compliments on the cut!

Lovead W Booked an appointment (press and curl) two weeks in advance with Tawoda. Called to confirm the Friday before my Tuesday appointment. Arrived 30 minutes early to my appointment, Tawoda arrived 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment time and said that she had no knowledge of the appointment. She checked the schedule book and saw my scheduled appointment there then asked me if I could come back in a couple hours because she just received a call from a client in Concord to go do their hair. She insisted that I just come back in a couple hours. She was completely inconsiderate of my time, I had taken off from work for this appointment and the shop owner did not take accountability for her error. I told my mother to never return to this salon. I would NEVER recommend this shop.

Lucky we snagged an appointment before the holidays because her books fill up fast—she’s THAT good! She absolutely nailed the lift and vibrant pop that Miya wanted for her thick Asian hair, which is no easy feat. The customer service? Impeccable. The vibe? Maha Bilal I don’t normally leave reviews and I tried to be happy and thankful when I left but I have never received such a horrible haircut. The second picture is immediately after the haircut. The third picture is before the haircut. I asked for a trim and long layers, she gave me the choppiest “layers” and literally blindly picked up sections of my hair and chopped them off. She didn’t even wet my hair. They are not even on both sides and somehow the back pieces are shorter than the front, so my hair looks incredibly thinned and choppy. She gave me curtain bangs that were uneven, way too low for my face, and harsh. I also came from a Groupon that said it was a deep conditioning treatment but really it was a CBD treatment that lasts 5 washes. I went in on Valentine’s Day morning thinking I’d look nice for my partner to celebrate, but I came out feeling so much worse. Besides this she was unprofessional (other review was right about the trauma dumping and talking a big game). She picked up the phone in the middle of our haircut, and hung up immediately after she realized it was a tax agency. She was friendly and chatty so I returned the energy but she also just had a super weird vibe that made me uncomfortable.

Jaradie Chhun Katie is an amazing person and talented! I booked an appointment with her for a women’s haircut, wash, and style. Katie is friendly and funny. She made sure I understood what she was going to do about my hair and educated me on hair maintenance. The products she used for my hair smelled good and made my hair feel smoother.

K L I have very fine and thin Asian hair and was long over due for a haircut. I came in with very long, lifeless hair down my back and left with a fun bouncy bob and dark brown highlights. I’m really loving the result! I had originally just booked a short appointment for just a cut but Tina kindly did highlights for me as well. Melinda nielsen I have naturally brown hair and have been doing an icy balayage for quite some time now. I booked an appointment with Justin, and explained that wanted stay icy and needed a touch up. When I left my hair was more of a brown the blond and no color melt was done for the roots and hair wasn’t styled. When I reached out about the color not being what I requested Justin told me that he doesn’t really do that kind of style. I’m not sure why he agreed to do a style he wasn’t comfortable with, and It really didn’t turn out anywhere near what was requested. The salon was super cute but I won’t be returning.

Sinath Neang I moved to Oakland two years ago, and Tiffany has never disappointed me with her talent for haircuts. This past weekend I also decided to get my hair colored for my wedding by Tiffany, a balayage style. I wanted a light ash color and wasnt sure what was possible because my hair was black. She gave me good advice, even when I wasnt sure what I wanted or know whats the right decisions. She was thoughtful and patient with me. Afterward, it turned out beautiful, but I told Tiffany I wanted to be lighter and to even out the orange due to my hair being black. She had me come in for another session, so she could make it lighter and even. After the second session, she even gave me treatment for my hair to take home. Tiffany is not only a professional, but shes talented at what she does, and she cares about her clients happiness. Shes the best hair stylist I have had. Thank you for always giving it your best! Lise Shin Last time I had my hair colored was back in the 90s so I have no idea what we were looking for. Tiffany was patient and explained the different processes. For graduation gift and for getting good grades, my daughter had requested partial balayage. The outcome was perfect, the highlights had a natural looking effect.

Nikki London Tiffany is amazing!! She knew what I needed and saved me from cutting off more hair than necessary. I thought my hair had been badly damaged but she explained that it was just extremely dry. She recommended a B3 treatment, which only took 15 minutes. Hands down, it has proven to be the most effective of all the products and treatments I have ever tried. Not only does my hair feel like silk each time I get it, which is every time I see her, but it lasts up to 2 months. So, every 12 weeks, I see Tiffany for this treatment and a cut. I couldnt be happier with the results. I can continue to straighten my hair with a flat iron or blow dry and not worry about having to shorten the length of my hair. Thank you, Tiffany!! Rose Briner Lupe is great. She is great for any color you want. It is very difficult to find a salon that does colors outside of the normal spectrum. Shes very fast. Normally that type of job takes twice as long as she took. They also do waxing and makeup.

Ronen Antebi I always get my haircut here. I live very close so it’s super convenient to get my hair done. Today my experience getting a haircut was horrible. I’m assuming the lady who did my hair was new because I have never seen her working there before. I specifically told her that I didn’t want my hair shortened and I didn’t want to change my hairstyle. I just wanted my bangs to be a bit shorter so it doesn’t cover my eyes and I needed my hair to be fixed up. She did the complete opposite. She would grab clumps of hair and cut it all off and she made the side of my hair way too short. Not only that but it wasn’t even at all! One side of my head was long and the other was a bit shorter. Parts of my hair weren’t completely cut and still had some long parts. It was like she was trying to make it seem like she knew what she was doing. She kept cutting more and more to the point where it was too late to tell her to stop. Once she was done, she didn’t make my hair look all nice. She didn’t comb it out or spray it with water or put in gel. I was also left with lots of hair on my neck, my clothes, and in my ear. I am completely mad. Next time you get your hair done here, request for a certain person and make sure it’s someone who knows what they are doing.

Jennifer Byrne So, I found this gem when my hair got botched at a Supercuts. I was the type of girl with long hair that only get their haircut once a year. Never was an issue until IT BECAME AN ISSUE. Jasper saved me the 1st time in correcting my haircut while hanging on to as much length as possible and I was forever grateful! He explained what was wrong with it, gave me options, and really took his time with the process and styled it to perfection. The second time I sat in their chair was when I made the WORST decision by not returning. I work in SF and had virgin hair and wanted a big change so I decided to get a balayage at a salon on Polk street. My hair turned into a bumble bee with a tinge of greenish hues and awful highlighting. I was traumatized! I decided to reach out to my lifeline and made my appointment at the RIGHT salon. Not only did they have to correct a horrendous color job but also a bad haircut once again. One side was longer than the other. Mrs. Tat Tat came in for the W! She truly is an artist, magician, and hero. Thank you both so much for your patience and magic hands. I can firmly say I will NEVER go anywhere else but L’Amor Salon and you should too. You will genuinely appreciate the abilities of their entire team!!! I feel so confident, back to my usual self and ready for my 40th birthday and upcoming wedding!

Lily L This review is for Jasper, who really took the time to explain why certain styles might not work on my thin/fine hair. I wanted curtain bangs, and he advised against the shape of the reference photos I was showing him because my face is round. Instead, he explained he will do a longer version curtain bangs so that it doesnt leave my face looking bloated. It came out perfect! He explains every part of the cut in depth to understand why certain layering styles or techniques is not flattering for my hair type and face shape. He makes sure to explain first, have you in agreement before even cutting. So many hair stylists in the past would just start cutting away, ignoring what I specified because they think it looks better, or they only listen to what I asked for without considering it may not be the best for my hair; they often do not inform me they could end up thinning it more. Jasper is my go-to person now for any haircuts! I havent had such a great haircut experience in a long time!

Anam Khan Barakzai I got a cut and color from Jasper and he was amazing. Cannot recommend him and the salon enough. Everyone was friendly. Jasper talked through my options for what color I wanted and what we could achieve (I have black hair and didn’t want bleach). The cut was awesome too because I’d had it cut shortly before elsewhere and had been unhappy with how it looked. Jasper gave me the cut I wanted. He was so fun to talk with and super kind - even after my appointment, Jasper has amazing customer service skills and I look forward to returning.

Anne Castrillon I told the hairstylist to cut my hair one inch, no more, please be careful, and of course she ended up taking more than 2 inches off. i just wanted a trim as i was growing my hair long, now she set me back nearly 4 months! I didnt want short hair, but here we are. she was kinda rude and didnt talk the entire time which was really awkward also

Lisbeth Garcia i didnt wanna leave a bad review because jorge really tried to fix my hair, and hes actually really good at what he does. But the blonde lady who cut my hair cut way too much hair and way too short, i asked for bangs and even showed her pictures for reference, as dramatic as it may sound but i havent stopped crying over a haircut i didnt ask for.

x x Everytime I come here they do such an amazing detailed job and such skilled work I worked at a beauty salon in Fremont for a while and I drive 30-40 minutes because I’d rather get my hair done professionally done here where you leave so happy and feel sexy rather than the half work done or the sloppy ness you may not see anything wrong but other salons are sloppy and just want to get the hair cut over with this salon takes there time details their job beautifully . Today I sat down as my hair was being done and watched amazing work on a few gentleman getting detailed sharp fades and alignments . You may not find the salon easy driving down the street but trust me Hollywood status hair styles and work I come here before a photo shoot or an event and my hair has always taken so long to grow but treatment they do to your hair here is amazing I walk in with thick rough hair and leave with Silky straight hair .
