Michael Montoya Came here today for my dads wound care appointment. The Nurse (Tim) was the one to help us out. Even provided us a bed to take care of a personal unrelated medical matter that required some privacy. They were extra accommodating to our needs on top of our regular appointment provisions. Things were neat and organized. Staff were on point & went above and beyond. Patient care was satisfactory. Facilities were clean. Definitely a 5-star rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you Kaiser Permanente! Robin Johnson Quality care. ER staff fantastic. Every doctor Ive seen were exceptional. They gave as much time as needed to explain and such. GI, Radiology, cardiology, lab were fantastic. Check in easy. Wouldnt want to go anywhere else.

Mary Mary Dr Egbert is an excellent surgeon and exudes so much enthusiasm before during and after surgery I felt cared as a person . I am in the. Physical therapy phase and currently doing PT at home daily. My expectations have been exceeded! Veronica MA. Is very personable, and empathetic . I love being treated like a person not a body part. Florilyn Sheene Marce Extremely Disappointing Experience - Lack of Care and Compassion My mother was in severe pain when we arrived at the hospital, yet we were left waiting in the lobby for over 6 hours. During this time, my parents requested a blanket for my mother but were told that blankets were unavailable, and if they provided one, other patients would also ask for them. This response showed a complete lack of compassion and patient care. After hours of waiting, my mother was only given pain medication, and no tests were conducted. We were then sent home without any further examination or treatment. It is unfathomable that a hospital would treat patients in this manner. I strongly advise avoiding this facility, as you can find better and more compassionate care elsewhere. This experience left me and my family feeling disappointed, frustrated, and utterly let down by the lack of empathy and professionalism demonstrated by the hospital staff.

Audra Wright-Alderson The ER and hospital Doctors and almost all of the nurses and staff including security are so competent and caring and provide the best care. Every organization has some bad actors but Kaiser Anaheim has done a great job at vetting and training their staff. They have saved my Mothers life and tended to the urgent needs of my children and their Father over the years. The recent care my Mother has received in the ER and on the 2nd floor has been amazing.

MacEachern Cait (Cat) This office has not been properly cleaned in weeks, or possibly months. I have never been in a doctor’s office as neglected as this one. I did not feel comfortable with receiving treatment at this facility. Dr. Ahmed seemed unconcerned with my objection to the cleanliness standard of this clinic, and her only suggestion was that I seek treatment elsewhere. Dr. Ahmed: please take control of your facility and take pride in your accreditation as a physician — demand better standards for care in your clinic.

Anonymous User Dr. Ahad is wonderful. I am near 30 and he approved me for a bisalp without any intrusive questions. Extremely respectful and kind. I would recommend him to anyone seeking tubal ligation or removal.

jasper m I went to my normal 20 week anatomy scan and was told my fluid levels were low and to follow up with Dr. George and i waited 4 weeks to have my follow up appointment. The doctor told me it’s nothing to worry about to just eat more food and drink more water. The next day I get a call from one of the lady’s in the front office says my authorization for a specialist was approved I responded very confused because the doctor did not tell me he was referring me to anyone because everything was fine. I did not think much of it so I went to that specialist on May 6th 2024 and that was the worst day of my life. I was told that my baby would not live to make it to term because I had NO amniotic fluid. May 8th I lost my baby at 24 weeks pregnant. For the doctor to lie to me and say everything was fine in my pregnancy when it most definitely was not was aweful. I will never go to that OB office again. The doctor always was late he was always in a rush. This is the worst Obgyn you can ever go to. Spare your health and your baby’s life and go somewhere else.

Fosha Family Diaries I’m leaving a review because since I’ve come to this place they’ve done nothing but waste my time. With an appointment time and all the wait is still about 1 hour until you can even get seen . Dr. NAYEEMA shows no concern for the pregnancy, doesn’t ask any questions or shows any compassion for her patients. Also, since I was unable to make an appointment, they sent me a letter saying how they can no longer see me at their office ! I thought that was very unprofessional and rude, though i planned to switch care for the remainder of my pregnancy anyway, I have never had a “doctor” tell me they can’t see me any longer . UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

BoomHill14 Neyeema Ahmed, the OB, was extremely unprofessional to my fiance, who is pregnant with our 4th kid. She walks in and when she gets seen dr neyeema Ahmed started to yell at her stating she is not putting any effort in her pregnancy all because when it was her 2nd Dr appointment we couldnt make it cause our car was broken down she called them and rescheduled about a week before the appointment we get a letter in the mail stating the office doesnt want to see her anymore and thats not right when things got out of our control. Also, our last OB retired and did not send this OB the paperwork from her current pregnancy, and Dr. neyeema Ahmed blamed my fiance for it. When we got our first referral for a ultra sound we had to reschedule due to car was still broken down and when we asked to get another referral they stated they had sent it but when we got to the ultra sound location they told us they never received it. We have never had this many issues with an OB before and never encountered so much unprofessionalism from an OB. We do not recommend this OB to anyone shes very rude her staff dont do their job right and always blame the patient. My fiance was the last patient to be seen, and they took 1.5 hours to finish her check-up appointment when all they did was draw blood, and they couldnt even do it. They are now transferring her to UCI to get another OB there but yet demanding test results when she gets her ultra sound and blood work done but shes no longer getting seen there so they will not get the results the new results will go to the new OB instead. Also, Dr. neyeema couldnt even tell how far along she is and give an estimated due date, and my fiance is more than halfway done with her pregnancy.

Marisela Robles This place deserves zero stars! Horrible record keeping! Sent an “invoice” with no transaction # and no phone number to call them, 2 years later. Does not state what the visit was for or what the amount being charged is for. Unprofessional invoice!!! I called to speak to them and handle it through them and ended up with no help at all. I had to call the insurance company I had at that time. Spent several days and hours on the phone. ONLY to tell me it was a mistake because my insurance representative did a 3 way call… they knew they couldn’t get away with it. This also happened to my mom. She was being billed for $1,000 for an appointment she had canceled ahead of time. They claim she was seen! They fail to updated their systems. The old lady in the front is rude, cuts you off when speaking and hangs up the phone. The other two assistants just keep passing the phone to each other when they don’t have an answer to your questions. Eliesko is the “bill representative” and she still couldn’t help me. The clinic is outdated. If you want service from 1950 and want old school typewriter health report, this is your spot. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!!

Pamela Elise Positives: - the medical profession I saw provided me with the necessary referrals quickly. - Saturday appointments are available so I do not have to take off work. Negatives: - I left two voicemails to make an appointment to follow up on labs and X-rays. Two weeks later, still no call back for appointment. - mailbox is full, unable to leave a message. - phone is rarely answered, which would not be a problem if phone messages were returned. - a specific requested test was left off lab order. I was told I would have to speak to the doctor have him submit another request and return. This is unfortunate, as I would have stayed with this PCP if there was follow through. I will be switching by the end of the month.

We waited over two hours and after that my client was taken to a room and gave her the prescription without taken blood pressure or anything else. They send the bill for that for the amount of $ 562.00 be aware of that.

Araceli Morelos Doctors are really good, but there is no organization from the rest of the staff. They lost my kids files, they have you waiting in side for long time. They give appointments at the same time to a lot of people. Like a said, the Doctors are really good. Staff real bad.

Msessie Hollis Horrible sitting here now had an appointment bat 10 got here at 945 its now 1043 and still have not been seen. I definitely will be changing Drs. When I asked why lady at the front dest said she didnt know why. But everyone who came on before me and way after me got called right away. This wouldnt be acceptable if I was late for my appt 40 mins I would have to pay the late fee to reschedule as well as reschedule my appointment. Then when I said I had to go they claim 5 mins and I would be seen but instead of seeing me ina actual room I am in the room with a bunch of vaccine refrigerator so its like a supply room with a medical bed in it. Just horrible. And I thought planned parenthood was bad. Tacky!!!

Dianna Rebollar Dr. Morinishi is an amazing physician who spends his time reviewing your chart and your medical history and he makes sure to answer any questions you may have. You never feel rushed with him. The reason for the 1 star is for the front desk medical assistant who is extremely rude. I have been with Moronishi for 20+ years and because of her, I am willing to leave his service. This MA is a female, caucasian, with pimples on her face. She makes sure to ignore you and is on her phone while youre standing in front of her trying to get her attention. She messes up the appointments and schedules you for the P.A. instead of the PCP ,and when you ask about it, she gives you a dirty look and is very rude about it. My family has been having issues with her as well. My mother tried to make an appointment with Morinishi and she asked for a Spanish speaking person to assist her and the MA hung up on her. My mom called a few more times and she would answer and hang up on her again. This happened for 4 days straight until I called and was able to make the appointment for her IN ENGLISH. If you want a great PCP, Moronishi is an outstanding physician. .. but keep in mind that you will be mistreated by a racist, rude, unhappy service representative. It is unfortunate that because of her, my whole family and I are willing to change our PCP of 20+ years. And if you ask why I would rather leave.... she has been working with Morinishi for about 10 years already. We have complained, and nothing was done about it.

Daryl Isobe Dr. Morinishi is one of the best doctors Ive had, but his office personnel are clueless, especially when it comes to patients who are covered under TRICARE. We recently received an email from TRICARE stating that our Primary Care Manager (PCM) has been switched from Dr. Morinishi to Dr. Yoshikawa. When I contacted TRICARE, they informed me, most likely Dr. Morinishis contract with them had expired. So, I called Dr. Morinishis office and the person I talked to repeatedly told me that I had to call my provider after I told her what had previously transpired. She didnt even bother to check if Dr. Morinishis contract was current. Ive had this problem before, but last time I informed Dr. Morinishi during an appointment regarding the problem. He took care of the problem, unlike the unprofessional office worker.

Cherie Tuua-Pua my family has been going to Dr. Morinishi since 1991 and we love that he takes the time to explain everything and go over everything.

Adam Lang This is the second time weve used this Urgent Care. Both times we had very good experiences. Wait times were not bad. The front desk and the Doctors and nurses were great. Very friendly. The facility was clean. And , today they were showing Tangled while I waited.

Cynthia Masterson Excellent staff all around! Had a terrible migraine. They immediately gave me an ive pack. I was seen quickly. Nurses and doctor were very quick and helpful.

M W My mother was seen there for nausea. She initially was seen at the ED but her 12 lead ECG was normal. She waited for 4 hours for glucose testing due to her not being compliant with her metformin. Not wanting to wait any longer, she went to the urgent care for her diabetes labs. She was told at this urgent care that they are worried about a cardiac event, and instead of being transported on tele monitoring via ambulance, they told her to have my non medically trained sister drive her to the emergency department. This is either negligent for having her travel by inappropriate transport or they just brushed her off not wanting to deal with anything. This care was not the standard of care.

yaremy frausto Took my mom in because she was feeling sick. Dr. Taylor was really rude. The way he spoke to her was unacceptable. He talked down on her as if she was an idiot. Repeated questions that she had already answered but because she didn’t answer with yes or no it was a wrong answer to him. She would answer him trying to explain how she felt but he just didn’t want to hear it. People go in feeling sick as it is. He really needs some retraining on how to treat patients. Worse doctor I have ever met.

Justin Rosen Dr. Patel has been my wifes and my Primary Care Physician for the past 10 years. He is excellent. Dr. Patel always finds time to fit us into his busy schedule. His evaluations are thorough and proactive ensuring we stay healthy. We love his new office too.

martha valencia I normally dont post reviews but in this case I need to. This place is very unprofessional. I went in explained from the beginning what I wanted and knew they couldnt provide the service so I asked to be referred to a different clinic. I gave them the name of the clinic/address and they still referred me to their own clinic that also does NOT provide the service I need. This has been going on for a week now and I have to keep calling to follow up. They do not understand how time sensitive this is although I have explained many times it is. Once I am finally referred to the clinic I need to be at I will probably reconsider this review. For now this is such a horrible experience on top of what Im already going through personally.

Despite it being the weekend, I was able to see a doctor promptly, which was a huge relief given my urgent medical needs. The efficiency with which the staff handled everything was truly impressive. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The reception staff were incredibly professional and helpful, quickly processing my information and ensuring that I was comfortable while waiting. The waiting area was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. When it was time to see the doctor, I was escorted to a private room where I was met with the same level of professionalism and care. The doctor took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly examined me, and provided a clear and concise explanation of my condition and the necessary treatment. I never felt rushed or overlooked; instead, I felt genuinely cared for and valued as a patient. The entire team at A&C Urgent Care demonstrated a high level of expertise and compassion. They will only talk to you over the phone. Because they are too important to see you in person . Instead you will get a student or worse a NON LICENSED PA Not even a nurse . So this place basically does not care about treating injuries, but they will do what ever the insurance company wants them to say. If your hurt they will try and say your not hurt , and SIDE with the insurance company. This place is a medical scam dream. Getting paid by the state or insurance, without actually trying to heal the injuries. Do yourself a favor avoid this scam health clinic, and go to a hospital with real doctors and nurses. Do you trust your health care needs to this strip mall clinic ? Beware

Siloam Won My dad stayed at this facility for 4 days to treat fractured femoral neck. Every staff member was doing their best to provide necessary treatment, fulfill his needs, and transfer him to a nursing facility after the discharge. Also, they have been very helpful, answered all questions, and followed up on requests whenever I reached out. My dad mentioned that he did not want to leave because he was so satisfied with the service every step of the way. Thank you West Anaheim Medical Center and all staffs who took care of my dad. Our family could not have asked for more and grateful for your exceptional care.

Kimf Foster This was the best hospital Ive been to. They took me in with in 4 minutes. Great care, even the blood draw was easy and Im a had stick. Usually have to use an extra ray to find a good vien. Not here. And the Dr was very knowledgeable of my problem. Would recommend anyone to go there.

Patricia My wife is writing this but this comes from MY HEART : My time spent in ER , DOU, Med Surg was amazing the staff is professional and very friendly helpful the rooms are clean and bright so you won’t get depressed. They called me Uncle Buff because I ask them too it’s my nickname. The DOCTORS listen to me and explain what was going on with my body and what they needed to do and what I needed to do. I will recommend West Anaheim Medical Center to anyone who needs help GK

Dan A. I am not a hater type of reviewer but two incidents come to mind that I need to mention. In mid-October 2023, I had a mysterious infection. I drove myself to their ER where they gave me a tetanus shot and I still dont have a clue what my infection was about. They did a quickie attempt to sign me up for Medi-Cal but failed. The hospital bill was $5000+ for me being there 4 hours and getting a tetanus shot. A month later I sign up for Medi-Cal and qualify.. starting date being Jan 5 2024. Theres like a 3 month window in which Medi-Cal will cover medical expenses prior to approval. The window seems clear and kosher to me but the hospital has not been very helpful coordinating with Medi-Cal and instead call me regularly and send me bills in the mail often. West Anaheim Medical, I dont have money. Ive seemingly given up on caring how this is harming my credit. I feel helpless and hopeless and West Anaheim Medical is doing nothing helpful. As far as Im concerned, West Anaheim Medical dropped the ball on Medi-Cal, not me Fast forward to late November 2024, my dad falls and fractures his shoulder probably due to cardiac arrest.. he goes to West Anaheim and gets rushed through and out days later before Thanksgiving. My dad is in a far worse situation now than when he was taken to West Anaheim Medical. A week later I have to call 911 again and now hes at UCI. Oh BTW West Anaheim Medical, my mom has alzheimers and my dad has his issues.. Im the only one around to help them. I am so overwhelmed, no income, and with issues of my own, that you are on your own in regards to billing and collections. I do not have the time, will, or even mental energy to connect you guys to Medi-Cal. Thats what your billing/collections people are for. If theyre not effective, thats your problem and you have the choice and power to try and re-train them or fire them but chasing after me will get you nowhere. West Anaheim Medical, you guys deserve this bad rating. All I can say is I spared you from naming other serious issues I observed. If you are reading this and have fallen in between the cracks of no insurance, no money and no public assistance either, this is likely to be the start of additional stress for you. Go elsewhere. william Ronald I have just stayed two days at West Anaheim Medical Center and it was a very excellent experience. The emergency room staff was friendly and caring. The nurses and doctors who treated me were totally first rate. I would sincerely recommend West Anaheim Medical Center to anyone looking for a good and wonderful hospital staff!

Mickeyz S Great experience during the child birth and nice nurses, there is a lady that goes around and asking about the food she interrupted our friends and family time to tell us about the food and explain the goods about it which isnt needed at the time and ruined the experience of first time visit and to top it off car tires were stolen from their parking structures, 1 star for the security that was working that night, plus they told me its not their first time it has happened. what a joke.

Roxanne Rodriguez The staff are amazing. The hospital itself needs MAJOR updates. Elevators dont work, ac doesnt work, the bed table is so stiff its hard to move. I honestly dont know how this hospital is still functioning. The cafeteria is in the basement. The own needs to stop the construction in the basement and get to work on updating everything else. Never see a hospital like this.

Spezialkrafte 03 Ive visited this hospital several times to see my friends who became patients. Observing the staff that they have, very professional, hard working and seems going beyond at all times. A number of them have displayed great interaction with patients and families. You seldom get this now, person to person treatment. I just hope that the Providence group take care of their employees. At the end of the day, you need great people to run a tight ship!

Joshua Kent My daughter and I went here yesterday. Both of us are extremely ill. My daughter had a fever of 105.5°. She was the priority person we were there for. The nurse that checked us in couldnt even get an accurate temperature reading on her because he kept trying to do under the tongue despite the thermometers being capable of doing under the arm. An hour went by before they finally got a temperature reading on my child. Her fever was 104°. They had to bring in ice packs and administer fever reducers despite me repetitiously asking prior to getting to that point to check her. They were downright negligent and their behavior is extremely dangerous, especially for small children. Im appalled by the service that we got there. These people should be held accountable for this type of behavior its disgusting.

Elija slinkard I voluntarily came here because I was having a panic attack. When I asked to leave, they placed me on a 5150 hold without evaluating me at all which is illegal. The entire time I was here, there wasn’t a single therapist or therapy group offered. The “occupational” therapy was literally them letting everyone go outside and do nothing for 30 minutes. No instruction, no guided activities, nothing. The facility was also so disgusting and unclean it made me incredibly nauseous. Do not send your loved ones here if they need help. This place did literally nothing to help but pump people full of medication. Because I’m pregnant they couldn’t give me any meds so I was forced to sit there and do literally nothing all day. Not great for anyone’s mental health at all.

Serena Sonoma I had one appointment for psychiatry with Hieu Tran and will not be returning for any follow up appointments. Not only does this psychiatrist seemingly have an unwillingness to listen to patients but also offers undependable advice. I was given a 5 day prescription for my anxiety disorder and had to jump through several hoops as the pharmacy attempted to contact Hieu Tran and were unable to get ahold of him. I contacted him myself and he showed a complete lack of interest and urgency in prioritizing my mental heath needs. I wish I could rate lower.

Julia I I originally left this review on yelp but they removed it. they also removed another low rating. I do not recommend this place if you have a specific mental health issue (or trauma related condition), or are looking for any kind of therapy/group/actual support other than medication. During my 10 days there, I went from being voluntary to being given a 5150 then a 5250. I can only imagine I was given them because I pushed back on taking the medication (which I explained to the staff members multiple times Id had bad reactions in the past and was not comfortable with them giving me medication I wasnt familiar with. I was then met with an attitude by multiple staff members, especially Cheryl). From the very beginning things were confusing, at times traumatic, and overall lacked real support for someone who was going through a mental health crisis. At one point I had felt so defeated by the staffs lack of listening skills I started to shut down and could no longer speak due to the stress of everything. And instead of trying to help, staff members sat there silently, stared, tried to push medication, and one even physically moved away from me. From lack of privacy (having a nurse stare at my personal text messages for too long), to loud noises all night with the doors slamming shut constantly, to witnessing staff mistreat other patients (nurse Angie taking a walker away from a patient who needed it and had borrowed it with permission from another patient), to being hesitant to express any emotion without repercussions (witnessed another patient get tranquilized for having an emotional reaction and left the room another time when witnessing staff, with one holding a big needle, start to surround another patient who was taking too long on the phone). This facility and most of the stuff seem to lack empathy, understanding and the ability to actually support those with mental health issues. Not to mention the lack of actual mental health education and skills in the groups that were held every day. Instead of building skills or having group therapy, there were music classes and bingo. While having fun in a place that is so sterile and uncomfortable might be important- so might be building useful skills to help oneself once youre discharged. And youre lucky if you get any face to face time with a therapist- but they wont seem willing to sit down with you and discuss what youre truly going through. The resident psychiatrist (dr. Ishmail) will also only meet with you for 30 seconds and base an entire diagnosis on those 30 seconds. Even then, it seemed like the staff only lightened up once I had started complying with their "treatment" (pills and going to groups). For days I tried to explain to staff the past reactions I had to medication, yet I was still met with annoyance that I wasnt just immediately taking the pills. You have to push back a lot in this place to make sure they understand you know your own body. They also seem to hand anyone and everyone a 5150 then a 5250 who protests any part of their treatment. The outdoor areas are a joke- painted white brick with cement tables. The white will blind you when the sun is shining and theres little to no comfort when being outside other than being able to feel the breeze. It was also shocking for staff to have no reaction to my many complaints about not being able to go outside and how that is one of the main things that improves mental health. It seemed as though we were only able to go outside when the staff felt like it. And even then- there was nothing to do other than to sit or pace along the perimeter. Inside, the only things to do with our free time when not eating or going to group were to sleep, color, read or watch tv. The only highlights were the food, the kitchen staff, and some of the other staff members who actually seemed to care (Jocelyn, Beatrice, Kasey, Miguel, Veronica, and a few others)

Devin Sitcler Most of the individual people we spoke to were very patient and nice, but I would absolutely not recommend coming here if you are struggling with your mental health. The entire process is not at all comforting and will honestly make your suicidal tendencies worse. We waited over 12 hours just to speak to someone over Zoom for about 10 minutes because there are no in-house psychiatrists or mental health professionals. There are also zero accommodations for people on the autism spectrum. The entire environment is incredibly overstimulating and even while having a breakdown nobody would help or accommodate my partner’s needs. They also apparently switched up his lab results with somebody else’s because the psychiatrist we spoke to (on Zoom) said that he tested positive for amphetamines and fentanyl which was absolutely not true, and then said that there were just “a lot of patients that night” and things probably got mixed around. That is absolutely unacceptable. I have a lot of empathy for those who work in the ER and I’m not blaming anyone individually. Again, the nurses and the person who was watching us were very kind and made things more bearable. But I want everyone else to know that this is not the place if you are having suicidal tendencies or are on the autism spectrum because it will be an absolute nightmare and waste of your time.

E Val i had a very good experience with the staff and doctors at this hospital. they took good care of me. the reason Im not giving 5 star is because there was a long wait time of 3 hours to be seen by a doctor. staff said they were really busy so it makes sense. luckily i was only there to get stitches and nothing more serious.

B K The office never answers the phone. They are always in a hurry and make the patient feels uncomfortable asking them to do what is their job to begin with. I and my daughter were new patients establishing a pcp. Of course, it is hard to schedule with the MD himself. Im okay with seeing the PA. It is weird for me to be scheduled for a physical and dont get examined or touched. I mean no one looked in our ears, mouth; we werent touched. In addition, being an established patient does not differ from being not. In short, the staff just want to go home. The office lack professionalism, sympathy, and none of them should be in the medical field. I wonder if the doctor knows how his staff act! I will never know because Im finding another pcp for myself and my daughter. I felt that I need to update the review because after I posted it Dr.Beshai gave me a call. He is nice and professional. I really appreciate that he did call me, and Im hoping the conduct and procedures of the office gets modified because there is a difference between the Dr and his office staff.

Jerjan Alim I’ve been coughing non stop since mid December. Sometimes it disappears for a day then comes back more violently and I can’t breathe, sleep, work. It’s been affecting everything. It got so bad I Went to the ER a few days ago & Was told it was a 6 hr wait. Went to THREE health care clinics and the consultations alone were $215- $275!!!!! This place consult was $45! I was able to be seen right away, get antibiotics and cough syrup there, nebulizer treatment, blood sugar test, and work note for $190! If I want to, I can come back within the week to opt for an antibiotic shot without a consult fee. I immediately feel better after the breathing treatment and just took my first pill of antibiotics. Many communities/ the whole country needs more places like this. Staff was very helpful and kind and Dr. Nguyen was awesome.

Just 36hrs before my visit to the Anaheim clinic, I visited my free Canadian Healthcare provider that under diagnosed my condition and under medicated me. Monica Gamble One month ago, I visited the UCI Emergency Room after being involved in a car accident, and I am just getting to a place where I am comfortable enough to share the deeply disappointing and unprofessional care I received. When I arrived, the 7am-7pm shift was still on duty, but when they left for the day it was clear that the staff’s priorities were misplaced. My assigned nurse, Oscar, failed to introduce himself and never once checked on me during my time in the ER. Despite begging for pain relief for over an hour, I was ignored until Dr. Lily intervened—though even after her help, I waited nearly another hour for medication. To make matters worse, I was left cold and naked under blankets in a hallway until Dr. Lily kindly helped me into a gown. The charge nurse, Kate, was the only one who displayed a shred of compassion, bringing me water and socks while giving me a lousy apology that it was a busy night. She stated that they all help each other, and I let her know that wasn’t evident to me. After this interaction she checked in on me one more time in 10 hours. None of the nurses passing by would even give me a reassuring smile. Meanwhile, I observed Nurse Oscar assisting the same patients repeatedly and engaging in horseplay with female nurses, rather than addressing the needs of all patients equitably. When Nurse Cherry eventually took over my care, her bedside manner was cold, adding to my frustration and discomfort. I accepted it because at least she was consistent. As a nurse myself, I understand the challenges of this profession, especially on busy nights. However, everyone who enters this field knows the importance of providing equitable care to all patients. The lack of professionalism and empathy I experienced was unacceptable and disheartening. I sincerely hope the staff at UCI ER reevaluates their approach to patient care to ensure that no one else endures the treatment I did.

C They billed my insurance the high maximum and beyond for a 30-45 min for each of my daughters. Just to get a medical clearance to play sports and for my other daughter just to find an ABA therapist which nobody ever called us back. Horrible care, no empathy. Just to get the maximum amount of money from people. I understand I have a high deductible but never thought my bill would be over $1,000 for a talk. I have no clue how or if I can pay this bill. I feel completely let down. Please everyone do your research before going to a new Dr. I wish I did before coming to this place. Im also contacting other agencies about this over charging patients. I looked up the codes that were billed and the maxi is nothing close to this. I contactes the BBB as well which this place has an F rating already. Ralph Solis Avoid this ER at all cost! Wife was brought here due to paramedics thinking she was having a stroke. The nurses were too busy flirting with the paramedics to administer any aid to my wife. My wife was fine and transported back to our primary hospital for overnight observation. I usually give nurses the benefit of the doubt because of what they do, in general,. However, this was completely unacceptable behavior from both the nurses as well as the paramedics that seem to just be hanging out here.

Patricia Mendez Recovery was awful, room was hot no ventilation whats so ever. I kept opening the door, and nurses kept closing it. Was in a stuffy room with no hot water for 3 days. The toilet was leaking and would get backed up with soap I believe. On top of the the charge nurse SHERRI was rude. I was told my daughter (15) was able to stay with me when i registered and did the maternity tour(i asked). When asked around 5 if someone was staying i said yes my daughter, 20 min before visiting hours was over, nurse came and asked again and again said my daughter. Then I was informed that she wasnt allowed due to age. She went to talk to the charge nurse SHERRI which then came in with an attitude saying she couldnt stay and she has been working there 12+ yr and never heard if such thing. At this point I am mad and telling her that is what I was i formed and if they would of told me sooner I would of made other arrangements to have someone else stay with me. But since she was on a power trip told me my daughter had to leave since visiting hrs was almost over, and I had to spend the 1st night alone. Charge nurse sherri needs bedside manners courses, I understand they must deal with this a lot, but we are all different people and should be treated with respect. She had come in already heated and started berating me instead of talking to me. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL. My last time there was 2010 and loved it, but after this experience, I can see why the rating went down.

RT( Brenda) The housing keeping staff and kitchen staff were so sweet and helpful. The facility as a whole was poor quality and didn’t provided great care. There were time that we need help and couldn’t find anyone. We were in the dark most of the time when it came to treatment plans. We were happy to leave the facility.

Elizabeth Ganshirt My father had a massive stroke and was transported to this hospital. In reality, there was nothing any medical professionals could do to save him. But the ICU nurses and doctors ran tests and monitored him tirelessly. They also performed countless small tasks to keep him as comfortable as possible while he was in a medically induced coma. They were all so kind to my large family as we gathered to visit the man we loved before he eventually passed away. I felt that Chris and Megan and the other nurses were careful to maintain my fathers dignity. And I appreciated the candor of a neurosurgery physicians assistant named Jane. I was also grateful for the palliative care/hospice team. They had a plan in place to provide hospice services in the ICU so we didnt need to arrange a transfer. Thank you for caring for my father with such respect and dedication.

william Ronald Unfortunately on Tuesday December 17, I chose Anaheim Hospital on La Palma in Anaheim. My treatment was fine until I was discharged. That was when their customer service stopped and chaos ensued. After I was left for 3-4 hours in their loud and very disrupted Emergency Room , they woke me up with my same chest pains from Cardiac issues I had this year. And they told me at 5:30AM I must leave and they told me they wouldnt be able to get me a bus pass to make it home to continue my recover from Cardiac surgery in the year. You see my car had recently been stolen and bus travel was the only remedy! In fact the nurse even said to me in a mocking tone to me after she informed me that they had had no bus passes , "What will you do to get home?" In the Waiting Room , a Security Guard and a extremely disabled lady were involved in a very loud argument. I was has happy to finally get out of that place! William Staats MBA

Allison Zieman I had a wonderful experience with Sean Wu for my pulmonary function test. This review is more for him as someone who works at the center than the center itself. Sidenote: The person who checked me in was not great. For anyone who has not had a pulmonary function test, I found it very difficult to do. For me, the process started with an arterial blood draw. Sean very quickly and easily did it and I appreciated his willingness to draw from my preferred arm. For the pulmonary function test, Sean carefully explained every different test (there are several) and if I had to do the test over again because I struggled to do it, he was very patient and explained new ways to think about how to do the test. For example, one way included showing me what the results looked like and then letting me know what he needed to see for a good test. He also smartly gave me a nebulizer treatment after a few tests when it was pretty clear it was a tough breathing day for me. It was wonderful to have someone so patient and kind help me take a test that Id rather never have to do again if I could!

It would be a good thing to have a rating of this is for the facilities. This is for the employees. The staff that we really loved and I can’t remember everybody’s name was Kim, Naz, There was a really nice girl. I can’t remember her name, but I wrote it on a report, there was a gentleman with a long, gray hair and glasses that was really sweet, and then there was Deveryn I think that was his name.. He’s an African-American gentleman that works on the second floor. The former people mentioned work in ICU. They were the greatest. Nurse Nora on the second floor was a horrible nurse. I watched her try to place my mom‘s breathing tube back in her nose and she could not get it in; my sister had to tell her you don’t have it in her nose. Oh….Watched my mom sitting in a bed that had been deflated and was sunken down. She didn’t know how to fix it. She was a horrible nurse. The nursing staff on the second floor with the exception of one girl and I don’t know her name. She has black hair with a blonde streak. She was for sure the greatest. The doctors overall they were horrible no communication,no talking with the family ( The exception was a Dr. Noble… She was fantastic. She communicated to us. I think we spoke with her once or twice. ) as a family, we didn’t really know what was going on because we never talked with a doctor. we get there and find out my mom’s going to be moved and it’s like no one told us ; no communication with the family. I never saw a doctor once the whole time I was there that’s a shame. Who’s running this facility. I guess it’s true what they say when you can’t afford the best medical, then you don’t get the best medical you would think that as a hospital as a hole, they would want to give their all and their best to the patients, but they don’t. I observed nurses walking around talking huddled together not doing anything. There were two nurses in ICU both males that were as lazy as can be. I saw one of them tapping on their cell phone when they should’ve been checking on their patients. it was just a horrible, horrible experience for my mother. I would not suggest this hospital to anybody unless it’s absolutely necessary. But for your loved ones if you can avoid this hospital do so. It doesn’t appear that the hospital and most of the staff at least 90% of the staff should really rethink their nursing careers in their careers of being doctors. I think lwhen you go into nursing or you become a doctor or you run a hospital you should be concerned about the welfare and care of the patient; This was something that was unfortunately lacking at this hospital .

DEAN PARK Had an opportunity to spend 2days after an ankle surgery 2wks ago, and there isnt a thing to complain about anything from start to finish. About 12 different nurses had to deal with me and they were all kind and professional making me look for excuses to stay a but longer.

Gdog Rocks The physician assistants have a wonderful demeanor when taking care of patients and are very pleasant to talk to. Dr. Amin is very pleasant and positive as well. But we waited for over an hour in the room and we were only there to get the results of my brothers procedure. Once they discovered that they forgot we were waiting for the doctor to come in and speak to my brother, they finally walked in. By the way, the first assistant who took my brothers weight and blood pressure is a beautiful girl. Wonderful way with patients and very efficient. Would love to know her name. Shes absolutely gorgeous.

Kim Ellerbe I have requested a copy of my medical file, I walked into the office, the girl made the copies and the upper staff yelled at her and told her she was not giving them to me. They told me to sit down and I refused being I WATCHED her make the copies. They called me into the office about 30 minutes later when I told them I was NOT sitting down and needed to go to work. They said they would give them to me but were SO BUSY and would fax them. I had signed the paper from my PCP requesting the release of it. This was 2 weeks ago and they were supposed to fax it that same day. Im watching the calendar because I WILL be filing a complaint with HIPAA. More so after reading the reviews and they had the audacity to tell me to use them again for my next colonoscopy!

Rohit Vakharia Absolutely terrible at communication. I’ve been at hospital for almost 4 days and seen him once. He doesn’t check in, give updates, etc. I had a procedure done and he never came to talk to me after — just left. Was supposed to have procedure done on Wed but he decided not to answer his phone all day so they fasted me for no reason. Had procedure on Thursday. Have not heard from him or his office until today (Saturday). He didn’t bother to show up himself to discharge me. Stay away from this doctor.

Alissa M The office staff has no idea what they are doing. I called to get an appointment however when I got there suddenly they didnt. I told them that they were listed on my insurances website as taking my insurance and was told that they do but they wont take mine. They wasted an hour of my time would not recommend them to anyone.

Saif Hamdi I went to this medical center to do a 5 panel drug test I made sure to tell them that I need this test for the PUC because it’s for a commercial driver they gave me one that was not for a commercial driver and when I called them back they were rude and told me it’s not our fault and we will not send any results to the lab either.

Keith Gardner I go to Golden west all the time in fact Dr C is my doctor Hes a great guy knows his stuff and will make sure your know what is needed to feel better and He knows his meds Im sure most do but I had a strange combo of meds when I was with a large medical place that starts with a K, Doctor C took me off of two and replaced it with one and have never felt better !

Keila. I Rivera Had my first surgery done yesterday And what an amazing experience I had. I was very nervous. The nurses are very sweet they kept me company all the time before surgery and after they never left my side. If I needed anything they were always there. The surgery team was amazing they kept telling me jokes and helped me stay relaxed and calm. I’m so great full my first surgery was an amazing experience

Kathy Cooper Today my husband had a operation scheduled for 12:30pm with an Oncology Surgeon practicing out of Anaheim Global Medical Center, Dr. Melinda Lamb. We waited two weeks for the hospital to contact us about a Radiology appointment my husband needed before the surgery. We were not told by the doctor if the appointment would be on the date of the surgery or before. A few days before the surgery date, I called Dr. Lambs office to let her know we have not heard anything from the hospital. Her nurse/receptionist says just to wait, they will call. GREAT! At almost 5pm the evening before the sugery, we get a call from the hospital asking my husband to be there at 6:30am. I ask her why since the surgery isnt until 12:30pm? We cant arrive that early, we have an 8 year old to drop off at school & the school grounds arent open until 7am. I dont have anyone else to drop him off. And we live more than a half hour away. The hospital representative calls the Radiology Dept to see if we can arrive at 7:30am. The Radiology Dept doesnt even open before 8am so they said, that was OK. Due to an accident on the 5 fwy and the Google GPS taking us to the back of an Urgent Care instead of the hospital, we we arrived at 7:45am. The intake nurse said it wasnt a problem the same situation happened to a few patients that morning. She started taking us back to Pre-Op only to be stopped and reprimanded by my husbands surgeon, Dr. Lamb, for not arriving at 6:30am. I tried to explain, she told me not to speek and just cancelled the surgery. She said, "she can not be upset like this before surgery." She was very unprofessional. JThe Radiology Dept still had plenty of time to complete their part before the surgery. Four hours and 40 minutes and they only needed 4 hours. If the hospital had called at least 24 hours in advance this situation would not have happened. The intake nurse was so upset about it being cancelled she came out to our car to apologize. Also, the hospital needs to update their procedures so their patients can provide their health information ahead of time electronically, like so many other medical facilities. The staff we got to see were very nice and accommodating. The only other comment I have about the hospital is it looks really old inside. The surgeon is a whole other issue. Very unprofessional and lacks confidence in herself as a surgeon if 15 minutes affects her ability to do a surgery. I highly recommend you avoid Dr Melinda Lamb whose office is in Costa Mesa and only practices out of this hospital.

Rachel Mckenna Horrible staff.,spent a total about 2 minutes with me. Nurses are even worse, they make little effort to take of you (even after i assured I would be.) They will ignore patients for hours, just chat with their coworkers.

Susan Andrews I am visiting my family in Anaheim. I live in Texas. I lost my balance in my sons kitchen and the corner of the kitchen counter went into my left ribs. After four days my pain got worse. My son took me to the emergency room here and I was taken to get X-rays. The doctor Jason Vecchia was very understanding and the staff was friendly and professional. Thank God I didnt puncher anything but they treated me for cracked ribs. They were fast and efficient. Thank you.

Stephie Cornell I can’t speak highly enough for this ER! Little known gem in Anaheim. I’ve lived here 42 years and didn’t know this “community hospital“ existed. I’ve been to the “big box” ERs due to my family having a genetic disease. They DO NOT compare to this gem! You are a person here, not a number. They couldn’t have been more kind nor more helpful! Shout out to Paul, Alexis who was AMAZING! and the first RN that took care of us, tho sadly I don’t remember his name. Truly amazing people in the ER. Sadly, don’t know about the hospital as at the time of this writing, we have been here for 2 days waiting for a bed to open up in a hospital w an Opthamalogist specialist that we need in addition to our other problems. But if they’re anything like their ER dept, I’m sold! One other thing, I NEVER write reviews but these guys went over and beyond the call of duty! I will always come here first from now on!

Ginger Alice This hospital did not treat me kindly. This being said they did attempt to treat me for a real medical condition unlike St Francis in Lynwood. I would not come here again but their paperwork will be helpful to my primary care provider.

Denis Vaduva If I could give them zero stars, I would this is the worst hospital in the world. The security in the front popped my tires because I couldn’t move it for 30 seconds because I was holding my daughter. Wow unbelievable I wouldn’t come here even if I knew if I was going to die. The lady at the front office is very unprofessional. Wouldn’t let me leave. Told me I was detained as if she was a police officer, and then stuck up her middle finger. Do not go here.

Danielle Chavez Shocking to see so many negative reviews when my experience wasnt negative at all. I was in the ER for about 2hrs, got checked, given proper meds, a shot, got xrays, and was diagnosed with a sprained ankle and broken finger in 2.5 hours with a few ppl ahead of me and after. People were nice and helpful as much as possible and did the best they could. Were quick and seemed to know what they were doing. It was not dirty. It was not messy. People were not loud or strange no matter the type of people they were. It was late so I know some people were tired. Receptionist didnt say Thank You or Youre Welcome and didnt seem to wanna be there but again, I am assuming it was because it was late. Staff and all were tired I am sure but everyone else seemed to be able to use their manners. But what else can anyone do at an ER?

D R This is the worse emergency room you can find. Even if you feel like you are going to die please stay far away from Anaheim regional. Way better options available than this place. They will treat you like a drug addict. The nurses can’t even put in needles without getting blood all over your clothes and dripping on the ground. They treated my wife for something that wasn’t even close to the problem. They have no idea how to diagnose like I said they will think it’s drugs, they must deal with it a lot. Though in the end the have code of ethics which I didn’t see followed at all. I believe they took out their anger for me on my wife who was the actual patient. The nurse that put the needle had to have purposely messed up her arm and made her bleed for something that is so simple. After two times going there this being the second they still didn’t know what it was and prescribed her stuff that in the words of the UCI doctor that we went to said that those pill won’t even work for what’s wrong they will not help you throw them away. The UCI doctor literally took away all her pain and the constant throwing up with a simple shot. Prescribed her what she needed she needed and has been totally fine since. After we left Anaheim regional and 1 day after taking what that doctor prescribed we ended calling an ambulance she got so bad they actually made her worse with what they prescribed. She was so much better literally back to herself within 5 min at UCI emergency than she was in like the 12 hours she spent at Anaheim regional emergency. I got kicked out because I told the doctor he had no fckn idea what he was talking about and all he knows how to do is prescribe. Well I was wrong according to the UCI doctor he can’t even prescribe the right pills. Also the UCI nurse was shown picture of what the other “nurse” did to her arm when putting the needle and the UCI nurse said, was she knew? how’d that happen. The look on her face was disgust she was clueless to how that could happen unless that “nurse” was new and even new that was still unacceptable. The best thing is we have pictures as well as all the paperwork from both hospitals a line of evidence that these people are not what they are licensed to do. One doctor 5 min problem taken care of . Another “dactor” 12 hrs and made worse. It really matters where you go and I would stay far away from Anaheim regional. It’s also very dirty and nasty the “nurse that made my wife bleed didn’t even clean the blood that dropped into a pool on the ground she left it walked out the room. Another nurse cam to my wife out the room for ultra sound or something brought her back opens the door first noticed it was on the ground didn’t let my wife in the room until she cleaned it then let her in.

Meka Gibson Omg the staff here in this ER is the definition of team work. I wish I could thank everyone who had a helping hand in helping me today. I can say that I’m happy that I choose to come to this ER even though it’s not close to the house . Not many times you can go to the ER and feel like they are listening and actually care.I was spoken to like an actual human being. I was greeted with smiles and caring attitudes. I even got a few laughs and jokes. Everyone made this experience such a pleasant experience. From the lady at the front desk and even the guy who pushed my wheelchair to get some test done. Even my discharge process was pleasant.Even while EMS bringing people in I could still hear names being called for people to get treatment.So they are the definition of team work makes the dream work.
