Jennifer Carbajal I went here for about five appointments for laser - I had a LOT of facial hair and after five appointments it was successfully reduced GREATLY! Staff are lovely and kind and super LGBT friendly. Def planning on coming back if I have any more hair removal I want done. Lasers used is generally pretty painless too! Def consider looking at their Instagram and booking an appointment!

Allison Pfeifer I’ve been going to Revive Medspa for all my aesthetic treatments—Botox, fillers, facials, and more—and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The entire team is incredibly friendly, professional, and skilled. Dr. Shaban is truly the best—knowledgeable, precise, and always makes me feel super comfortable and confident when I walk out the door! Their availability is excellent, their prices are very reasonable, and the quality of their work is unmatched. I drive 40 minutes to get here, and it’s 100% worth it. I wouldn’t trust anyone else on the Central Coast for my aesthetic needs. Highly recommend Revive Medspa!

Maree Whitten Dr Lebed’s staff is awesome! Dr. Lebed is such a professional but with a true heart. He listens, gives advice, talks about options and goes with what you’d like to do. He’s honest and really has your best interest in mind when suggestions or advise are necessary.
5 /5
Nancy Tedesco Dr Lebed is pleasant, listens and explains everything. His staff are pleasant, courteous and ready to help if requested. I never feel stressed when coming for an appointment and will continue to see him as long as necessary. Since I felt so comfortable with him I have sent my husband to see him as well.
5 /5
Tish Dougall Dr. Lebed is a great doctor. Thorough, knowledgeable, honest and professional. Answers your questions and makes you feel secure in your choice of him as your doctor.

KATHLEEN ONEILL If you are in need of a urologist for a surgery, you can find no better surgeon than Dr. Lebed. He is highly qualified and respected. I had surgery with him in October 2024, and he did repair the problem for which I came to him. He would rate 5 stars for me if he had fully communicated in advance how to care for myself after surgery.
4 /5
Cinde Lossing Dr Lebed is to the point, no nonsense, very informed kind of doctor. Answers all questions. You feel safe with him. The staff up front are fast, efficient and seem to enjoy their jobs and working together. Only downside was waiting almost an hour. I did understand Dr. Kebed was the only one working that day.

Christy Lochridge My outpatient surgery experience was outstanding. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, compassionate, and professional. The surgery was on time, which I really appreciated! As a nurse myself, I chose not to mention it because I wanted an unbiased experience. However, a few colleagues recognized me, which helped me feel at ease. Overall, it was a perfect day given the circumstances.

Denise McLean Always wonderful entry staff and always very relaxing. The Heart scan folks are always nice. The fact they occasionally have a therapy dog in the lobby makes it even nicer. The staff is always cordial and helpful. Phone call today was handled very nice. Love this place!

Kimberly Was in the emergency for lots of hours over three hours in the middle of the night with chest pains and symptoms like a heart attack was in the hospital because a baby was born and just happened to be there when this pain started went down to the emergency room saw got treated had a chest x-ray and so on and so on blood test The doctor on call that night in the emergency room proceeded to tell me that I just had bruised ribs and that was the end of that went back up to the hospital room and proceeded to do everything you do in your health, a newborn being born in your family the next day from my emergency room visit I had a doctors appointment went to the doctors. she ordered a sonogram said it definitely was not a bruised rib that there was mass to it and she wanted to take a sonogram definitely not bruised ribs more like a tumor. I said could it be assist? She said can’t tell you that Kimberley until we see the test so here I sit waiting for the results of my sonogram of the mask that is on my rib cage so I would give that visit a zero.

4.Dr. Rushdi Abdul Z. Cader, MD

Address: 1010 Murray Ave, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405

(19) Reviews Dr. Rushdi Abdul Z. Cader, MD:

Michael Smiley Dr. Cader is an excellent emergency medical physician! I have seen him provide emergency medical care to numerous patients and have received emergency medical care from him as a patient. He is extremely knowledgeable, very thorough and compassionate. He truly cares about being the best physician he can be, sharing his knowledge and providing the highest level of medical care possible to his patients. I would trust him to take care of my family without hesitation!
5 /5
Bryan Treanor Dr. Cader is the most caring and genuine doctor I know. We have had to take our children to the ER several times and were fortunate to have Dr. Cader treating them. He followed up with us and his expertise gave us a peace of mind. We are lucky to have Dr. Cader in our city.
5 /5
Mila Dorji Dr. Cader is deeply compassionate, gentle, and understanding. He demonstrates empathy and professionalism with his patients. He is also knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to explain and discuss medical care with patients. I have seen him multiple times and have always had nothing but the best experiences. Anybody would be lucky to receive his care in an ER!
5 /5
Omar Ricci Not sure what the negative reviews are about. Had a very good experience with Dr. Cader. Experienced a empathetic and engaged doctor. He did not rush through what was likely a everyday matter for him in the ER (my pneumonia). He sat and took time to explain how pneumonia develops and why it should be treated aggressively. In addition to the antibiotics and inhalers he prescribed, he showed me how to do deep breathing to help clear the lungs. Was patient and encouraging, and I felt I could trust him.
5 /5
Nick D. I am a local law enforcement officer, and I have been treated by Dr. Cader on multiple occasions where I have sustained injuries in the line of duty, with the most recent injury being a gunshot wound to the head. Dr. Cader was the emergency room trauma doctor responsible for my care in the previously mentioned incident. The fact that I am still alive and healthy today is a true testament to his expert level of care, and his professionalism. Dr. Cader is very attentive, and has followed up with me personally regarding each injury he has treated me for. I always know I am in good hands when I am under Dr. Cader’s care.

K C This is a shame because I’ve always had such good experiences here until today when I called and was on hold for 10 min then by the time I got there ironically there were only two people in the waiting room and one of them was just checking out. I waited such a long time for even a quick second to ask a quick question and the two ladies at the desk just had their heads down ignoring the world. Funny how the sign I’m staring at states we don’t tolerate disrespect but the customer service today left a lot to be desired. Super dissatisfied. What a huge bummer.

George R My wife was experiencing skyrocketing blood pressure. We are talking 195/125. The public is often told to avoid the emergency room, the cost and the wait and go to your nearest urgent care center BEFORE going to any emergency room.. Well, that’s exactly what we did. Desperate to find answers and some sort of solution. We were immediately told at the front desk by Kristine that all they would be able to do is simply take her blood pressure period. I absolutely couldn’t believe that there was nothing else they can do. What a great way to drive business away from your location telling a patient an entire laundry list of things that they CANNOT do. I don’t blame Kristine as she is simply the representative at the front desk and she was cordial. And I do appreciate the heads up in advance. As I said to her, so there is no way I’m going to let my insurance company pay this facility $300 to $500 for this visit and all you can do is take blood pressure. I post this so others that are experiencing life-threatening skyrocketing blood pressuressimply do not waste your time in going to this urgent care center. There is absolutely nothing they can do. Possibly, I am wrong, but I think that something needs to be addressed here. As a result of this, we will never set foot for any procedure at this facility.

heather rehn Worst urgent care Ive been to. The people at marigold were much nicer. I tried explaining why I was there but kept being interrupted and told they dont do basically anything there. I was even told they wouldnt read my results from my other doctor(it was the weekend which was why i didnt hear from my regular doctor), but low and behold they ended up doing that. But constantly was asking each other why I was even there. Like dude do your job and help me or recommend me to the ER or something. I went there for for a possible uti or kidney infection. I was basically rushed out and told I was fine. My results had a lot of "out of range" numbers and was told it was no concern. But I had abnormal results. And wasnt not feeling well.

whitney enriquez The staff was super friendly and understanding. I felt comfortable and safe there. I also liked how friendly and kind the front desk was and she was super helpful for my first time busing Cottage health. Also loved how I could schedule an appointment online. Definitely will be visiting this urgent care again and recommending it to friends and family.

Mia Alexander I am extremely disappointed with the care my daughter received at your facility. She has been sick for over three weeks, briefly improved, and then developed a sore throat again. After waiting 3 hours, the nurse practitioner simply stated that it was “something viral” without offering any real treatment or solution. This determination was made without proper diagnostic testing, despite the fact that I had the same symptoms and required a Z-Pack to recover. While an X-ray was done to check for pneumonia, nothing was prescribed or recommended to address her persistent cough and green mucus. It seems it would be pretty difficult diagnose something as viral just by looking at a patient, and the likelihood of my daughter getting the flu twice within three weeks is highly questionable. Now, we will most likely need to visit the emergency room, something that could have been avoided with proper care at your facility. Additionally, while we were waiting in the car, your staff locked the doors without any notice or explanation. Other patients were left confused, with no signage indicating a temporary closure and no one answering the phones—even though your posted hours state that you are open until 8 PM. In the end, we paid for an awful experience, received no effective treatment, and my daughter still feels just as sick as when we arrived. This level of care is unacceptable.

Marissa Olivares Amazing! I have been to this location a few times with my kiddos. The staff is amazing and the rooms are all spotless. Took my daughter Saturday as a walk in and we were placed in a room quick! all the staff definitely went above and beyond! They did everything in their power to make my daughter feel comfortable while trying to deal with the issue of us being there. Also helping with my son to keep occupied who was just waiting there. I would recommend them over and over again!

Kinsey Angerstein The staff at the Broad Street Cottage Urgent Care were absolutely spectacular. From check-in to check-out I was so impressed. I hope to be healthy enough to not have to come back anytime soon, but if I find myself back inside your doors, Im happy itll be with such a caring and upbeat staff. Highly recommend!

Ronald Sexton Great experience!! I went in for a nagging cough. They worked through the normal vitals and medical history, thorough. The PA prescribed a few items to kick the problem after listening to my lungs. Though also showed me how to use an inhaler!! They were all very friendly AND called me within a hour on the X-ray results - yep, X-ray machine is onsite. Staff was very friendly. Id go back in a heart beat.

Heidi Hendrix I made my first appointment today and the receptionist was so helpful and kind. The office is welcoming. My long time friend had Dr. Spaulding with her first child and she was so pleased with the experience. I am looking forward for my 2nd pregnancy with him and his staff.

Alexandria Strachan I am so blessed to have had this doctor! This was my going to be my 5th c section and my first time as a patient with Dr. Spalding. I was completely worried and scared about the whole delivery. It ended up being the best delivery and recovery I ever had, compared to all my deliveries! I highly recommend them. The bed side manner and the transparency of the operation was amazing. If you get to have them deliver your baby then you are in great hands!

Cindee Yandow Dr Spalding and his midwives have been amazing. I have been going to his office since 2004. He delivered my first, did my ectopic surgery, delivered my second, and will be delivering my third this July. I highly recommend his office.

Yolanda Robles I took my dad to ER in middle of night and our experience was overall great. He had to stay overnight and all of our nurses were compassionate and took good care of my dad. The docs, from the hospitalists to the urologist were also kind and informative and made sure our questions were being answered. The only feedback I have is to please provide more comfortable chairs for the person staying with patient in room throughout the day. The folding chairs are so uncomfortable and staff had a difficult time finding a chair from the moment he was assigned a room. Other than that the medical care was top notch. Thank you for taking such good care of dad.

Matt Lemmon The Emergency Room staff are hostile, abusive, and obnoxious. Josh the Triage Nurse is a ruthless bully who carries on his face a gruesome scowl to match his rotten attitude. This is the most hypocritical experience I’ve had in my life. Dignity? Respect? Kindness? Humanity? What shameless hypocrisy and False Advertising. One rotten apple spoils the whole barrel. I will leave this review in place until I receive a formal apology from the Board of Directors. The entire Dignity Health Organization should be ashamed of itself for allowing this gross abuse and hypocrisy to continue.

SloMo Bay 2 days before New Years Eve, my 79 year old mother in law fell and broke her hip. The nearest Emergency Room was at French Hospital. I’ve never been to this Facility and had no idea what to expect. Upon entry we were met by a friendly and helpful staff. They put our family at ease and took good care of her. The following day she had surgery (pins inserted). The surgeon, anesthesiologist, and nurse all spent time with her to put her at ease. Needless to say, the surgery went well and we were able to take her home the following day. I am a recently retired Southern California law enforcement officer who has spent more time in emergency rooms than I care to remember. I’ve seen the very best of service and the less than ideal. Based on that reference point I give French Hospital an unequivocal 5-stars. From patient care, to bedside manner, to family communication, this place was fantastic.

Celeste I had an asthma attack at about 2am that lasted 4 showers and a brown bag and finally decided to go to the ER . 9/19/19 at about 4:50 am , I walked in and couldnt breathe , let alone say my last name or birthday, I was immediately taken to a back room where I was given a breathing treatment and my vitals taken . The staff for that time period was beyond amazing Ive been to some pretty bad ERs and this experience was by far the best , they checked on me frequently gave me 2 treatments and also gave me a fast acting inhaler ri use in the mean time. Thank you so much to the Respiratory Team and the Fast moving ER staff.

Vivian Borden Surgery performed successfully on a tumor on the thoracic spine. Dr. Kissel is professional, very friendly, and very well respected. Hes the best. Highly recommend.
5 /5
Lynne Harrington I was diagnosed with a tumor inside my spinal canal pushing on my spinal cord. I got in touch with Dr. Kissel for a second opinion (the first opinion involved a fusion). Dr. Kissel did not feel a fusion was necessary. He did a laminectomy and excised the tumor. I had zero complications. Dr. Kissel explained everything very thoroughly to myself and my husband. He answered all questions honestly. The surgery was very successful and the pain management I received in the hospital was well planned. He visited me multiple times in the hospital and had several follow up calls post surgery. He approved all of the time off work that I needed as well as the physical therapy. For being such a serious and scary medical issue, Dr. Kissel made it as smooth as possible. I am so appreciative of his expertise and care.
5 /5
Erin Johnson Dr. Kissel and his staff are amazing! I had a herniated disc and was having horrible nerve pain for months. He really took his time to explain everything that was wrong and what he would do to correct it. I never felt rushed out of the office like I have with other doctors in the past. He was very kind and showed he really cared. His staff was very kind as well. I didnt have to wait long to have my surgery and it went well. I have zero nerve pain and can finally walk and stand without that horrible pain. I am so grateful for that! If you need back surgery, I highly recommend him.
5 /5
Kendelyn L I’d give him negative stars if I could. My life and my mom’s life are completely different after she went under his knife. She had a benign brain tumor removed over a year ago. He said she’d be home about 3-4 days after surgery, and should be back to normal activities like driving in 3-4 weeks. Instead, she was in the hospital for a month, many days in the ICU, and had to have multiple other procedures and surgeries. She was so uncomfortable and disoriented that they kept her in restraints for most of her stay. After the hospital, she went to rehab for a few weeks, followed by months of home health. She’s still not nearly the same person. It’s been the biggest nightmare we’ve ever been through; going from an independent woman, to someone who can’t even remember basic facts about her life and environment, let alone manage her basic bodily needs. I quit my job in order to care for her 24/7 as required after rehab. Words can’t express how much anger I feel towards the whole experience. Both of us lost our independence and still don’t know if/when we’ll ever get it back. I know the nature of cutting into someone’s brain is inherently risky, but we had no idea it could have gone this terribly. Please think twice before going to Dr. Kissel. There are many other doctors, hospitals, and treatment plans that will hopefully give you much better results. I pray your experience goes much better than ours. Life is too precious to spend it this way. We opened up an investigation with the Medical Board of California. I encourage you to do the same if you feel like you’ve ever been wronged by any medical professional and/or facility. God bless.

Brett Weathersbee Typical San Luis Obispo shopping center with more trees and shrubbery than parking spaces. Be sure and walk or bike here. Anything larger than a Mini is not going to fit in the tiny parking spaces. Typical and popular establishments are here such as a grocery store and lots of different fast food.

Liz Lacoco The ladies that helped me out at this Lab were very professional, friendly, and comforting. I had a Cuesta Phlebotomy Student perform my draw and she did great and everything was smooth sailing. I went around 4pm on a Monday, and although there were about 3 patients ahead of me, the wait time was less than 15 minutes and the waiting room was pleasant with a coffee/water bar that offered various complimentary treats and juices. Great experience, will continue using this Lab as long as I am in the area.

Louise Kohler Doctor Ramberg performed a very complicated surgery on my cervical spine in 2001. He had to remove hardware (titanium plate and screws) from a prior cervical (failed) fusion and relocate to an alternate position with a fresh plate and screws. (My spine had fractured from C-3 through C-7 in 1988). If I could give him a thousand stars, I would!!! Without his phenomenal skill, I doubt that I would be alive to write this review.

Joseph K. Dr. Donald Ramberg and his entire staff are wonderful. I had surgery in June, 2019, at Sierra Vista Hospital here in San Luis Obispo. Dr. Ramberg, his staff at the office and everyone at Sierra Vista were caring, patient and very responsive to any of my questions and inquiries. This was the first time I have been in a hospital for surgery. I cannot over emphasize the excellent care I received from Dr. Ramberg and his staff. Thank You One And All!!
5 /5
Laura Turney Dr Ramberg has been my doctor for many years and has done all 5 of my surgeries on my back and neck. Hes a wonderful doctor with a good bedside manner. He gets right to the point and doesnt leave you in pain. He sends you to the right people for what needs to be done. Surgery is the last step, if it can be avoided hell make sure to take evrry step to help get you back on your feet. If it wasnt for Dr Ramberg, Id be in a wheelchair unable to walk .Thank you Dr Ramberg.

Adam Macari Anything less than five star review for this person then you just had a bad day or something because Dr. Ramberg is by far the best neurosurgeon there is in California. In my opinion. Not only did he completely fix and revise a pre-existing fusion. He did a double fusion without half the pain I had with the prior surgery. Instantly out of surgery. My legs already Had zero pain and an exorbitant amount of strength back to them. All the weakness was gone and 90% of my pre-existing pain was immediately extinguished. his bedside manner is next to none. He is the nicest most informative neurosurgeon. I’ve ever dealt with and I’ve dealt with quite a few seeing how this is my fourth back surgery. I truly believe that he finally did what it needed to be free of pain and limitations. I would recommend him 1000% to anybody who has a complicated issue with their spine or neck. He was recommended By other highly respected doctors and it’s for a reason because he is damn good at what he does

Dustin Anderson The Noor Clinic is amazing! The staff were very welcoming, and pretty funny too! Everyone seemed to be happy to be working at the clinic. The wait time was short. Dr. Elizabeth Cartozian was amazing! She spent more time with me in 1 visit, than the last 5 visits at my previous Primary Care Doctor. She listened, made suggestions, and didnt make me feel stupid that I was behind on my health while trying to better myself. The diabetes Doctor was super cool, and he had a lot of info for me. So, THANK YOU to everyone at Noor for helping me out when I didnt have any other options. I had lost my insurance and was waiting for the new insurance to become active. They still took me in as a patient until my new insurance kicked in. They were very helpful in getting me an appointment as soon as possible. I hope one day I will be able to give back to this wonderful clinic that helped me in a time of need!

Karina Saldivar This clinic is changing lives for the better, and doing so purely funded through the generosity of the community who provides donations, and a few grants here and there. What this clinic offers is medical, dental, and vision care to anyone uninsured or who doesn’t qualify for insurance. The staff and volunteers are fantastic. Nice people who actually care.

Greg Webster I was referred to to Noor by French Hospital because, I couldnt afford a colonoscopy. The doctor there told me I didnt need one (I was 47). I said, that the hospital said I did because, there was an obstruction in my bowel. They told I would be put on a list, and have never received a call from them after several calls. As a result I almost died at the beginning of the summer. French Hospital (Dignity Health) stepped in a month ago, and funded a colectomy, otherwise I wouldnt be here. I think the Noor Clinic is a horrible medical facility, and they dont really care about people who are in need.

Char Sheridan NOOR medical clinic has become very pathetic and sad. Certainly not what it used to be or advertised. Too much discrimination, prejudice and uncaring under the new CEO, David Parro. This is Not a Clinic you would want to give a Grant or Donate $ to! Unless you want to continue to support the above while this incompetent CEO gets paid to stay home and run off the last of the patient caring supportive competent staff.

Dee L So glad I came across this opportunity in SLO, All the people that work here are very helpful and friendly and its a Godsend for those trying to keep up with their health care and unable to afford the traditional method. I would highly recommend anyone needing assistance with health concerns calling to make an appointment. Thank you Dr Nooristani and his colleagues for the tremendous opportunity in this challenging world with typically no alternatives to treatment except the emergency room. Also anyone wishing to volunteer, especially health care workers please call to see if they need extra hands on and pay it forward to help those in need.

Gregory Laubsch Very challenging to work with. 1. Making an appointment nearly impossible, getting someone on the phone is the first step, takes about an hour after being on hold and hung up on. 2. Paying a bill, same situation, 1 hour to get someone on the phone, then system not working call back. Doctor seems knowledgeable and good but no phone calls allowed to the office, (seriously) a phone center takes the calls and makes the appointments. No video appointments, no questions over a portal. Basically very hard to work with in general.

Jennifer Frame I really like Dr Silvers personality but this visit he seemed rushed. I had another issue aside from my sinus infection that needed tending to. He asked me to make another appointment in five days to get that taken care of. It’s causing me pain and that seemed a little off to me. Wont keep me from going back but I would like all of the complaints handled at one appointment. No one likes multiple doctors visits, or multiple copays.

Colton Rice Went in for my orientation and let the dr know I had a few concerns I’d like to look into, his response to that was “I’d be more concerned with maybe getting a gym membership than any of that other stuff, id be surprised if you make it to 60 years old” I brush this off and let him know my ears have been itching to witch he responds without ever looking at me “ it’s allergy’s just take some allergy pills” , like others have said he just makes snap judgments without ever actually looking into the issue. I’m aware I’m over weight but I ain’t 400 pounds and what an awful way to talk to someone. This guy genuinely doesn’t care about people and is just here to collect money.

David Zamora They told me to go in 15 minutes before my appointment and I did but when I got there I was standing there for almost 10 minutes before anyone even helped me out. Then when it was time to see Dr. Silver he probably only saw me for 5 minutes or even less. He barely let me get a word out, it felt like he was trying to rush me out of there. I had better experiences at med-stop because they actually sat down a heard me out. I know the doctor’s office gets busy but if the doctors at Med-Stop can hear me out my primary physician should be able to as well. They even had me get COVID tested before seeing them. Even though I’m fully Vaccinated. I understand that COVID is serious and so I was fine getting a test but what I am not fine with is trying to make an appointment with my primary physician and not being able to until I got tested. Then getting the results back, calling them back to make an appointment, bringing my results as instructed, and then having them not ask or look for them. It felt like I could have seen Dr.Silver sooner instead of wasting that time getting tested. Even the doctors at Med-Stop we’re confused that I had to get tested before seeing Dr. Silver. One of them even said “so doctors aren’t seeing sick people anymore?” I’ve had this issue for over a month now. I been to Med-stop, the ER, back to Med-stop( to get help and the test), and then my primary doctor and out of each experience the worst one I had was with my primary doctor. Which shouldn’t be the case. I’m am very great full for the work that all the healthcare workers do, and I have so much respect for them but today I didn’t feel that same respect reciprocated back to me in a time that I needed help.

Jo Whipp A doctor who tells a patient that they are not worthy to be alive should be unable to practice. He assumed he knew what happened leading up to the accident. He assumed the worst. Even if he had been right (he was not), telling someone that they dont deserve to be alive is criminal. This does not include the lack of proper care received for a severe head trauma.

Jennifer Hope Eibschutz is one of the best specialists Ive ever seen in my decades long career as a patient with multiple autoimmune diseases. He talks to your other doctors even if they arent local so you can get the best care for you. Hes also right across the street from a hospital which is comforting when being treated with certain medications. He has an excellent bedside manner as well like a best friend you havent seen in years. A very knowledgeable best friend. Hes also very aware that even if certain blood work comes back negative, that doesnt mean you cant have that particular illness. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Sue King I have been a patient of Dr. Eibshutz for several years and he has been excellent ! He has always addressed any issues I have had with my LUPUS/SLE ! I feel blessed to have him as my Rheumatologist after seeing many over the past 27 years ! I believe after you are diagnosed with LUPUS you tend to blame all medical problems on this ! He has assured me at different times that a particular medical issue was not LUPUS related ! Always having blood tests that back up his diagnosis ! I would highly recommend Dr. Eibshutz to anyone suffering from LUPUS and other medical issues needing a Rheumatologist⭐️

Stan Silva Hes a good doctor but his staff is lacking. Playing phone tag and leaving messages. I was told that I couldnt have my lupus medication renewed until I see him next month. Ive been taking that medication for years and its kept me out of the hospital. I know that if I dont take it my life becomes difficult quickly. I requested they ask him to renew it before my appointment and I was dismissed and told that would be illegal. That makes no sense since it isnt a controlled drug and I dont think he would want me to stop taking it. Was told to go ask another doctor for a Rx. I just wish they would have asked him thats all I wanted. I hope Ill be ok until I see him. I look forward to my appointment with him.

Sharron Kepler Just had my first appointment with Dr. Kuang MD. He was very fast and to the point and asks what you want/need. He didnt examine me but he also had my records and is ordering an MRI on my cervical spine which is something I was trying to get Lags to do for years and years. He seemed like he cared what I wanted as a pt. and what actually worked for me. He is the only pain doctor that didnt push injections on me like a used car sales man. He said it was my choice! I am so astonished and so happy to hear a doctor finally say it is MY choice as a pt. I know it is only my first appointment by hopefully things will continue to go good. If not I guess Ill be back on here. Also the office staff was very nice and seem to go out of there way to help you. Especially Courtney and Ovi (I think is His name, sorry if it isnt), he went out of his way to rush my insurance authorization through and she went out of her way to tell me how or what to do to get m doctors referral in. In a world of offices not giving a *Bleep* they seem like they are nice and human and treat you with respect.

jim gausling Probably the most impersonal doctor I could imagine. I arrived to my first appt at 9:15 for a 9:45 appt. At 12:15 they came in and said the Dr left and I would have to reschedule. I thought I would give him a second chance, and his Atascadero office was so cold, they were advising people to wait in the hallway. Unfortunately 90 minutes waiting in a freezing waiting room increased my pain level several levels and it was also increasing the pain caused by increased spasms. He never took his mask off, and I couldnt understand half of what he was saying. He didnt examine me??? We had a consult from the opposite side of the room from each other, with zero examination. He is telling me he wants to inject into my spinal cord, but DIDNT EXAMINE ME!! Yes I was frustrated, but seems counterproductive for a pain doctor to increase pain levels at each appointment.

My ONLY concern is the lack of interest his SLO office manager seems to take in his patients. He deserves so much better. Youre the best Doc!

Orris Cowgill I visited Dr. Levitan with an MRI and an X-Ray, he did not look at either, he stood behind me asked me to move left then right then bend forward. He then prescribed 2 lumbar facet injections and a radio frequency ablation. I do not know why he would not look at my MRI before prescribing a procedure. I ask Dr. Levitan to look at he MRI before proceeding, which he indicated he would and then call me. A couple of weeks went by and I received a call from his office for scheduling for the injections. He never looked at the MRI or called me. He billed my insurance $375.00 for this 10 minute visit. I felt as though I was in an assembly line as opposed to visiting a doctor. I have found another doctor.

Christine Mathiesen I saw Dr. Levitan for about 5 years . He was my first doctor for my back pain. He tried to help me and I did the epidural injections. He always takes the time to sit down and chat with my during my exams. He is a consumate professional. He is not like some pain doctors that will give you whatever you ask for. We have both been patients there for many years (albeit with a rotating staff and locations). Was not given a reason, and when she pressed, the office staff member hung up on her. Very unprofessional, and when in need of medical care, negligent. I’m not sure if and what type of accountability for their actions might be pursued, but I will be leaving their practice. Certifried Ive noticed quite a few negative reviews, so felt I should write about my experience. Ive only started using the VA in the last 2 years because I had private insurance before. Its so hard to get a private doctor in this area that I went the VA route this time. I have had MUCH better care from the SLO VA clinic than almost any other doctor Ive been to! Dr. Naik and her team are fantastic. I use the VA app to send messages and always get a response within an hour or two. Scheduling online appointments is a breeze and Ive had appointments the very next day. Everyone at the SLO VA clinic is so helpful and professional. I have private insurance still, but always use the VA when possible. They also send out many "care in the community" referrals so I dont have to go to LA to see a specialist. If youve experienced issues in the past, I encourage you to give them another shot!

Felt like I was going through airport security check. Couldnt take my lighter in, got my ID scanned, got a visitor pass with my information and photo printed and stuck to my shirt. The only thing missing was the walk through Xray machine scanner and a pat down. Im still tripping out on how much information is collected and kept to profile us on systems. The hallways were confusing the way they curved around and the lack on Signage telling you where your going. I think I had to ask directions three times before I finally found the room. Staff were nice and helpful though. They were kind to my husband who was the patient.

Casey Bachant I gave birth at this hospital because my OBGYN is in the building next to it and delivers at Sierra.I came into the hospital having pain in my chest while I was a week from giving birth and waited in the waiting room for an hour. I did like my actual doctor but did not like the midwife who was on shift for my birth. She did not listen to my requests during labor. I ended up having an emergency c section as did the other women who were there that night (that’s a pretty odd coincidence in my opinion.) I stayed for 5 days after my c section. The first nurse we had was giving me pain medication that apparently the other nurses did not agree with. I simply told the next nurse what the previous one gave me and she told me they don’t do that. This caused me to get frustrated with the new nurse because I just had major surgery and was trying to take care of my baby, not figure out medication. Other than that the nurses were nice and helpful during my recovery. I did have to come back to Sierra as my baby had a fever. When the er doctor saw my baby he saw that there was blood on her ear drum and accused me of sticking a trip into her ear canal for some odd reason. Then he asked me if she had vaccinations and then went on to ask me what month they are given to an infant because apparently he was unaware. He pressure me into doing a flu swab on my baby because he felt like it was so important even when I asked to do a bladder infection check first, he stated I should do them at the same time or I’d be waiting around double the amount of time so I reluctantly agreed. The bladder infection check came back clear and he then said she just had an ear infection. Gave me some prescriptions and said we could leave before the flu results came back because it wouldn’t change the result of what he was giving me. So why was he pressuring me so much to do the swab if I left without any results?? Then my fiance asked what temp fever we should bring her in at and he stated 106.00. That is appalling to me. Not to mention when my fiance went to pick up the prescription from the pharmacy the pharmacist asked who this was because he wrote one of the prescriptions wrong. He wrote it for an adult, not an infant. It’s as if this “doctor” had no experience at all. I will not be going back to this hospital, it’s a joke.

Adam Macari Your staff at Sierra Vista Hospital is next to none. I’ve been injured a lot and have to deal with a lot of medical facilities. In this. By far is the best. The only is the staff the best that I’ve ever experienced. The hospital itself is the best. They’re super nice. they attended everything you need. Their attitude is nothing but happy and cheerful. This is definitely the best care facility you could possibly go to on a Central Coast hands-down. There’s no contest and trust me. I am so picky about this kind of stuff.

Marlen Rosas First of all, we decided to go to this hospital because last time we went, my boyfriend was treated so well by the doctor, I don’t remember his name but he spoke to my boyfriend like a human and was very kind and made our visit feel comfortable. This time around we got Dr. Kyle Kelson. Right off the bat he came off as rude and spoke to my boyfriend in a condescending matter. Yes you are a doctor but please treat people with kindness and respect!!! He also came off as very confrontational and unprofessional when he couldn’t understand what my boyfriend was saying. He made our visit super uncomfortable and I would recommend he take some classes in order to treat patients like he actually cares about them…. The nurses were wonderful but also please train your nurses better, this is the second time they struggle to find a vein and cause further pain than comfort. The first time a nurse blows his vein, which only causes more pain for my boyfriend. Also when my boyfriend asked for alternatives the doctor said “I don’t know”…

Lolen East One of the most unprofessional experiences with a physician that I’ve ever had in my life. Severe back pain and doctor Kuang saw me once in person and then two more times via TeleMed. I also received two injections from him, which didn’t help at all. That’s not his fault I guess, but when I called to ask about the next step for my pain, because the medication I was on wasn’t working, I could not get a callback from his office manager or him. I left six messages over a period of a weeks time and every time I talked to one of the staff, they told me they left messages for the office manager and the doctor and that’s all they could do. They apologized profusely and I’m pretty sure they have to do that a lot because the doctor just doesn’t care enough to call his patients. The office staff was actually pretty nice to me and I could tell they had empathy for me and they felt bad because the doctor that is supposed to help patients with pain would not call his patients back. Finally on the sixth business day after leaving all my messages, I got a call from someone who said the doctor told her to call me and tell me that he would not discuss anything with me until my next appointment with him which was weeks away, and also would be after my pain medication ran out completely. In every message I left, I explained the urgency and how much pain I was in, but not once did I use foul language, yell or say anything except how much pain I was in. Yet after my last call to his office Dr. Kuang had the audacity to send me a letter telling me I was being discharged because of my unprofessionalism. I have no clue what he’s talking about but he really should not be allowed to practice pain management. He is horrible at it. I would advise anyone seeking truly professional pain management to look elsewhere.

Karla Hotchkiss When I started going to Pain Management, I was seeing Dr Kia, absolutely adored him, he was kind patient and cared. He the got moved down south. Now I see Dr Othman. He’s a great Dr with a great bedside manner. He is fair and listens to my needs and complaints. I am glad he is my Dr. and the Staff have pretty much always have been kind and willing to work with me.

May West The staff here is horrible, by far the worst Ive ever dealt with. Careful not to talk to them as they lie and make up stories. If they dont like you it will be a nightmare.

Rick Candito I had/have no problem with Dr Kuang. However the staff took over refilling my pain meds for the VA. Only one prescription has been refilled without incident. Right now I am dealing with what Nurse Erica has done. She refilled a 30 day supply, but refused to make my next appointment within those thirty days. I am out now. She scheduled my next appointment for two weeks after my thirty day supply ends, would not schedule it sooner. The people who answer the phone seem pleasant, but the staff does not do their job. Their job is to make appointments in a timely manner and provide pain management.

allison carranza moreno I went there after going 3 times in a week and half. My hemoglobin was low but by the time i got there it was right above 7 so they sent me home. I went again after half my face swelled up, other side drooped, and my legs and feet swelled up. I waited 2 hours and I couldnt stand the pain of sitting there anymore and told the lady Id be back tomorrow hoping they werent so busy. I am a complicated case. Sierra Vista put in me in the hands of Dr wogu and he has ruined my life. I have no quality of life. Ive been on iv antibiotics for 5 years. He did so much damage to me and I could sit here and wrote about it, but thats not what my review is about. I went back like I told the lady I would and they were not busy so I got a room fairly quickly. The Dr did some blood work, did a catscan, and blood transfusion. They sent me home and I got a call the next day from a nurse telling me one of my culture came back and I have an infection in my blood. Now I already have Pseudomonas which is why I have to give myself iv meds 3x a day through my port. I asked if I was being admitted and he said he wasnt sure they just needed to redraw blood. I got there and of course they admitted me. I was told I would just be there a couple of days and I could go home. When I got into my room I had the worst nurse Ive ever had in all my years being hospitalized. I was venting on the phone with my mom and she came over and asked me if I wanted the paper to sign myself out against medical advice. I told her Im venting to my mom. I also showed her all the meds lie 5 times on my walgreens app and I finally had to write it on a piece of paper for her because she just couldnt get it right. Even after I wrote out the meds, dosage, and how many times a day I take each med she still had it wrong. She was very condescending and her name was something like fong. I also overheard her talking bad about me to another nurse right outside my door. So unprofessional. Im one of those that match energy so when she was acting like I was an huge inconvenience in her life well I matched her energy to a t. I asked her for a turkey sandwich and she told me we dont have those here. Which when I got my roomate the next day her nurse offered her turkey sandwiches multiple times. Any questions she responded incredibly rude. I never got a menu the first 2 days I was there. I was just served the worst tasting food Ive ever had. It was inedible. The day I left a girl finally came and told me what was for lunch and if I wanted to substitute for something else. An infectious disease Dr came and saw me and told me my last culture tested negative. I asked him if I could go home, because I was told I was only going To be there a could of days. He said he will see. Another Dr came in and asked him if I could go home and he said he would talk to the other Dr. And let me know at noon.well noon came and went and i asked to leave. Which they let me leave. I shouldnt be treated so horrible by their nurse. It should not take 2 days to get my medications right. Also, we should not be served with food we did not want and were not given options until 3 days in. I thought when tenant no longer owned it things woul get better but that didnt happen I also reached out to the patient advocacy months ago about what Dr wogu did to me and explained I have no quality of life and how Ive had put my kids in therapy because they are so scared Im going to die. Not one person ever reached back to me after I sent the email. So this told me they really do not really care about their patients. If you can avoid this hospital do so at all costs.

Amanda H. Our family is incredibly grateful for the exceptional care provided by Twin Cities Hospital during my grandma’s final days. The entire team made sure she was comfortable and well cared for, advocating for her every step of the way and working directly with our insurance to ease the process during such a difficult time. A special thank you to Crystal in the DOU and Ester in Med/Surg—both of whom went above and beyond to ensure my grandma was treated with compassion and dignity. Their kindness, attentiveness, and warmth made an incredibly painful time as easy as possible for both her and our family. We truly cannot thank them enough. We also want to recognize Kim, the charge nurse in the DOU, who was so kind to us one of the nights we were there. She brought us a comfort box and took the time to talk with us, offering support when we needed it most. The team also made sure we could stay in the room with my grandma, preparing a refreshment cart, a reclining chair, and warm blankets—small gestures that made a big difference in those final moments. One piece of feedback: the case manager (I didn’t catch her name) who came in to discuss insurance changes had a tone that felt a bit cold, especially given the fragile state of my grandma. While we understand these conversations are necessary, a bit more sensitivity in those moments would have been appreciated. Overall, we are deeply thankful to Twin Cities Hospital for their care, kindness, and support during such a difficult time.

EspressoMarie I was forgotten by the nurse who conveniently had her name tag obscured with a sticker over her name. She gave me a gown and I said I needed the restroom to leave a urine sample. No one came to take my sample or vitals. I wasnt given a call light even though I was not able to stand steady. I wasnt even offered a blanket. Then I heard the doctor, Dr. Williams, coldly tell the patient next door that they are looking at cancer. He then peeked his head into my room and proceeded to ignore my concerns saying repeatedly that he had read my "record" not "chart". I asked if any imaging could be done, I came in with neurological symptoms, he said he wouldnt do a CT because of the radiation and that it wouldnt show anything anyway. I asked about MRI, he said they dont have MRI coverage on the weekends. He left me in tears saying behind his shoulder that he would order blood work. I never saw the nurse again after that except that she popped in to take the urine sample. I was cold, in tears and crying so loud they must have heard me. Finally my mother had had enough and asked if I wanted to leave. I tried to get off the bed, but slipped and fell. I heard someone ask if I was alright and that she would get someone. That someone never came in the time it took my mom to help me up from the floor and get me dressed. As I was leaving, lab came by but I was already done. No one tried to stop me or ask what was wrong.

Mallory Dean I had to unfortunately make a trip to the ER this evening. Every single person that I encountered tonight, from the front desk, security, the intake nurse, the ER nurses, xray tech and doctor were so nice! Quickly got me in and out, alleviated pain, and even sang happy birthday to me. Hands down the best trip to the ER I’ve ever had.

DJ Peck Worst hospital you can go to on the central coast. There is always a line out the door. You will sit in a hospital bed for hours before you were seen by a doctor. They are extremely unorganized. They will ask you simple questions like which pharmacy and still mess it up even after you answer their question. Just left there a few hours ago. Should’ve driven to San Luis. It would’ve been faster.

Ken Bell Honestly should be zero stars. On March 28th I was discharged from rehabilitation. My discharge coordinator Jessica faxed over all necessary referrals and approvals from my Doctors on required medical equipment. It is now April 7 and I still have not received my equipment yet. My daughter had to purchase necessities or I’d be in a difficult situation. Every time we call it’s the same excuse, we are waiting on Dr approval. Approval has been faxed 3 times, Along with follow up calls. I’m to my wits end with this company, it’s like being stuck in a matrix of irresponsibility. No customer should endure this.

Kristin Sullivan Terrible customer service. They say theyll call and dont. My item is now a month overdue and they have no explanation other than, "were working on it." So typical of for profit healthcare in this country.

Jeremy Teitelbaum The WORST medical company in America. They are my only option for insurance covered CPAP supplies, and they constantly send things and bill the insurance and when I order send the wrong supplies and refuse to reimburse me. I wont even use them with my insurance. I would rather pay full price from other CPAP suppliers than deal with this incompetent company.

Karla McLean Gabrielle is phenomenal! Very refreshing to be able to talk with a person who seems very pleasant and friendly and answered all my questions.

Patrick Fidel One would be better off to die peacefully in their sleep w/ no supplies from Apria than to go through the stresses of misbilling, incompetence, late fees, and mistakes, than die of a stress related heart attack in working w/ Apria. They hung up three times on my insurance carrier while we were on the phone trying to get their misbilling mistakes rectified. Apria cannot even fill an order correctly. All inquiries are directed to offshore locations where no one gives a dam_. Even if they did care, they couldnt fix the problem w/ their incompetence. It is a shell game going round and round. Giving them one star is way too generous. Get ready to spend hours on the phone going nowhere. One cannot even access a supervisor, probably because there are none.
