Tara Short Dont bother if you are sick. I saw Dr. Heifetz for many years. It was usually for well checks, but recently I got really sick. I was so sick that I went to the ER. Last time I went to the ER was 13 years ago when I was in heart failure. I had an upper respiratory infection but I was pretty sure I had a sinus infection also at that point and needed antibiotics. I was severely dizzy and feeling terrible. The ER said if I didnt feel better to follow-up with my pcp in a few days. Well, a few days later I called my doctor first thing Friday morning. The front desk tells me they will pass a long the message. Hours go by, and I havent heard anything, so I call again. This time they tell me it can take 3 business days for Dr. Heifetz to get back to me. This shocked me and I even asked "for someone who is sick?" Keep in mind I had already told them how I had just been in the ER and was feeling miserable. I told them I was willing to see anyone and was hoping to see a doctor before the weekend. They basically told me to go to Urgent care, which is what I did and was put on antibiotics for a sinus infection. While at urgent care, I did get a voicemail from Dr. Heifetz that was very dismissive saying how colds can last awhile and basically to just give it time. Keep in mind, she had not seen me or talked to me at this point, and I have had plenty of colds in my life and knew this was something more. This office has no sympathy and no triage capabilities. I was sick for 2 months and tried to reach my pcp, only to be offered an appointment a week out, which is a ridiculous time to wait when you are sick and in pain, so I didnt take it and instead I set up appointments with an ENT, cardiologist, and a family friend doctor on my own. A few weeks later I ended up in the ER again with severe stomach pain and again called Dr. Heifetz office to see if they could get me in sooner. Even the ER nurse had told me to be persistent and make sure they know to see you ASAP. I received a call back the following Monday to let me know that Dr. Heifetz couldnt squeeze me in on Friday ( yes, the Friday that had already passed), and was again told if I was still in pain to go to urgent care. I explained to her that I had already been in the ER and urgent care wouldnt be able to do anything more. The ER had recommended seeing a GI doctor. I tried to schedule it on my own, but they needed a referral from my pcp. I felt so frustrated and helpless at this point. What is the point of having a pcp if they cant see you when you actually have a problem? I have already found a new pcp. I am appalled with this office. I work in Healthcare too, and this is just unacceptable.

Dani Alger Dr Zimmermann is without a doubt the best doctor I have ever had. I was hesitant because it was our first time on an HMO vs PPO. So I had to leave doctors I had been with for 20+ years. I am an asthmatic and Dr. Zimmermann explained things better to me than I had ever learned about my condition for an asthma specialist. He is thorough and takes his time, never felt rushed. His nurse Rosie is also wonderful, always a smile and sweet greeting. I am very particular on cleanliness and aesthetics, the office is not only clean but beautiful with all the most updated decor!
Could not be more pleased.

Jp Patterson : Susan D. Heifetz, MD is the worst Primary care MD i have every had. EVERYTIME i go here i get asked 3-4 times about flu shot and COVID shots to the point i had to tell her i dont want any shots, and to stop asking me so multiple times. she consistently talks over me as i am explain stuff, she is ALWAYS LATE and admits to this... i try to go in on my lunch break and my appt visit still takes 2 hours. She prescribed me something that i researched and did not pick up. Had given me wrong advise the entire time i have had her for over a year now. I am now in the process of picking a new provider. I will never be back at her office. What a disgrace to actual health care professionals. This is why men dont go to the DR as much as they should my experience has been tarnished by her unprofessional and at points disrespectful stance towards me.

Jeremy Royer Had Dr Zimmermann for many years and he was great. Office staff and front desk though...cold, rude, unwilling to help you when you need. Wouldnt even relay a message to my doctor of 10+ years.

Heidi Melendez Very helpful and patient. They take all the time needed for an appointment. First appointment takes a little long but afterwards they are great.
