Laura Gunn Ive had a really wonderful experience with MindPath in the past several months. I became a patient of Dr Ji after a particularly challenging year of my life that included my fathers sudden death. The empathy, kindness and expertise that Dr Ji has shown me has been unparalleled, and I have felt immensely supported as a patient of his. I always feel incredibly validated, listened to, trusted and valued not only as a patient but as a person, and his empathetic and caring work style should be a model for other psychiatrists.

Kelley Squires I love it and I love my practitioners however there is no way to get a hold of anyone except for during your appointment like I can’t talk to my provider or send a message or anything. I have to relay it to the front desk and they will talk to them. There’s no real way to email either

Emma Nava Do not go here unless you don’t want to get your prescriptions refilled. They don’t have a patient portal so there is no way to get into contact with your doctor unless you call the office. The office is less than helpful, so I wouldn’t recommend this psychiatric clinic if you need consistent medications and need to contact your doctors regularly.

Marcella Martin Dr Steindler has been my physician for many years. I live in the Inland Empire and travel 45 miles because he’s so knowledgeable, and he takes the time to go over my issues, medical options etc with me. He never rushes you and treats you like you’re family. Most knowledgeable and compassionate Dr I’ve ever known. I’ll travel anywhere to see him. Staff is great too.

Sanda Hnatjuk Bahic Dr Steindler is the best Dr I have ever seen, he takes time to listen, he is not rushing the patient, he had focus and went above and beyond to make sure that nothing is missed, even symptoms that look not significant to me. He is pleasant, professional, compassionate and resourceful, I felt confident and well taking care of. I would recommend him to my family and closest to me.

Robin Silver-Zwiren We have been a patients of Dr. Zwi Steindler since moving to Irvine in Fall 98. I have not had any other doctor, since the days of my pediatrician making house calls for myself and my siblings, that has taken so much time. Dr. Steindler reviews every blood test, X-ray and reports from other doctors carefully. He explains everything clearly and makes sure any of my family members understands and knows what treatment is necessary. All of us have at least two medical issues- and I have several more- and Dr. Steindler knows which medications may contradict with others which is not something all General Practioners are aware of. Most of all he gives us all the time to ask questions which he is willing to take time to answer. For my husband and I that is wonderful but for our children it means so much more: that their voice has meaning. I highly recommend Dr. Zwi Steindler as a family doctor. Now that he is in charge of a larger medical practice that has even more facilities I can assure you that the experience will be satisfactory. We cant all expect getting great news from our doctors but know that Dr. Steindler will be sympathic and caring and will be there every step of the way.

Maureen Lagasse My children are teenagers and have been seeing regular pediatricians/ primary care physicians since they were born. They routinely receive athletic waivers from their doctors every year. This year, however, we waited until the last minute to get the athletic waiver done, and so we ended up at Hoag Urgent Care for the first time ever. Imagine my disbelief when, within 20 minutes, the doctor identified the signs of a rare genetic disorder in my child and refused to sign the waiver! I argued at first, thinking he had to be wrong because my children are good athletes, and I have always been told that theyre perfectly healthy and have no medical issues. The doctor, however, stood his ground and explained that the disorder could prove fatal under the stress of athletic performance. He referred us to several specialists, including a cardiologist, orthopedist, and geneticist. Given his warning, and the fact that my own recurring health issues have been dismissed as "psychosomatic" for three decades, I took the doctors advice. The results from my childs first test confirmed his concerns. Dr. Zwi Steindler may very well have saved my childs life that day, and I will be forever grateful to him. I now have the necessary information to ensure that medical practitioners respond to my familys "psychosomatic" ailments appropriately, and that my children (and future grandchildren) are informed and prepared for ordinary situations that, for them, could be fatal. Thank you, Dr. Steindler! You are an honorable physician and a rare treasure in a system that is too often rushed, dismissive, and focused on profits rather than people.

Jonathan Garth My experience started with Dr. Steindlers staff. Everyone one in the office was friendly, professional, and just plain fun to be around. After I was called back to the exam room, I met Dr. Steindler for the first time. Dr. Steindler is a fantastic doctor. Similar to the other review Ive read on this page, I waited a bit before I got the opportunity to see him. I am satisfied with waiting to speak with Dr. Steindler because he takes the time to speak with his patients without rushing them out of the office. This is a necessary trade off that one will find with a quality physician, like Dr. Steindler. While other physicians are pushing patients in and out as a way to increase revenue, it is clear that Dr. Steindler is caring and professional when it comes to patient care. He explains his diagnosis and treatment options in a way that makes complex things much easier to understand. I am very satisfied with the care I received from both Dr. Steindler and his excellent staff. Keep it up! Other practices can learn a thing or two from you.

hadi moradi Dr Saam is my family doctor since 2017 since I moved to Orange County , she is very caring and knowledgeable and pleasant, she will always be my family doctor, she not only excellent doctor but a very good human being. Marina Zemskaia I am very pleased to have found such a great therapist. I really appreciate it when the doctor is attentive and explains my diagnosis and instructions in detail. I have been coming here for about two years, and I am very satisfied with everything. I use PPO insurance, and whenever I need referrals for diagnostics or analyses, I can easily get them here. I am also very happy with the quality of cosmetic services offered. If you are unsure or hesitant about getting procedures like Botox, I can confidently recommend this place. The facility is clean, the staff is polite, and it’s always possible to reach them by phone during working hours.

Nafiseh Jafari Dr. Shida Saams office is well-equipped with comprehensive testing options, from blood work and urine tests to pap smears and EKGs, which made it convenient to get everything done in one visit. However, I felt the consultation itself was rushed. Dr. Saam spoke with me briefly, and with the door open, which made the conversation feel less private. I was hoping she’d come back to address some other health concerns, but she didn’t return, which left me feeling disappointed. Although the office is efficient, I wish there had been more focus on patient interaction and care.

paramita pal I would like to lower my rating to 2 stars due to an unsatisfactory experience at the reception. The staff member I interacted with (11/25/24 at 3:07pm )was not helpful in addressing my concerns. When a patient has questions or is unsure about something, it’s important to listen and assist rather than redirect them without proper guidance. I understand that a doctors office is a busy place, but so is everyone’s life. Please strive to show more understanding and value your patients time and concerns.

Jody Lee As this company has grown the care for human pain, suffering, & time has become completely nonexistent. Specialist take months sometimes 6+ to get appointments for then they get canceled because that doctor no longer works there. Then you get a new doctor after seeing fill ins & nurse practitioners & you show up to your appointment to be told sorry we forgot to call you to tell you he isnt in today. For a year my husband & I have been going through this. I think its time to find a new system to try & fight through because after a year we fill especially with his care we have made zero progress & he just keeps getting worse because there doesnt seem to be a doctor available to treat him. St Joseph Heslth should be ashamed of themselves. When my doctor joined them back in the 90s the care was still the same high level & standard as a private doctors office. However as this network has grown it has become worse than Kaiser.

Susana Diaz This has been the worst experience trying to get a hold of anyone in this claims department. Terry S. was emailed on my behalf on the 13 of Nov. I didnt not hear from her till the 3rd of December. Unfortunately for me I was in the shower when she called. I called back 30 min after her call and have left roughly a message a day, she had even changed her voicemail since my initial call. This has been a horrifying/ frustrating experience trying to talking to billing . Unfortunately, everyone keeps point me to talk with Terry. My only choice at this point is to file a complaint with the hospital system, a grievance with the insurance and try to get a hold of someone up the ladder. I will definitely post the end result. One and half months later, After having a conference call with the ins. representative and a rep from the hospitals billing department. The call that the St. Joseph staff made to my ins was reviewed and upon reviewing it, it was determined that the ins rep did NOT approve the services for my son under our plan. Therefore the hospitals representative made an error in scheduling us for therapy. I eventually filed a letter of grievance with the hospital and my claim was forward to the billing department. The lead supervisor" Martin did reach out to me at this point in time . He listened to my concerns and was very clear and well spoken when responding. After some discussion, the issue was resolved in about 2 week time frame. I do have to say that the last two representatives from the billing department: Mayra and Martin, did respond to my calls and followed through when they informed me they would get back to me "such and such date". Unfortunately I did not hear back from Terry. Overall this was a costly error by the rep who performed my ins verification request for services. I do believe that this process could and should be reviewed for improvement. I do suggest that all patients keep their signed copies of the paperwork and all documentation. Upon signing, make sure you review under which terms you are agreeing to services ( remember its a binding contract). If they make a false claim in error, they are accountable. But you will need to provide that documentation.

Marjorie Bradley Coastal Fertility changed our lives. My husband and I struggled to have a baby for five years before we were referred to this practice. The people working there are so caring, supportive, and made us feel like we are in this together. I got pregnant on my second IVF attempt with Dr. Werlin and gave birth to our beautiful daughter in April. We are very grateful to the entire CF team for this incredible addition to our family. Highly recommended.

Alissa Myers I had the privilege of working with Dr. Behbahani during my IVF journey and she was amazing as well as her team. Everyone made my wife and I feel very comfortable and listened to all of our concerns. Dr. Behbahani is very thorough with all of her testing to make sure you have the most success. As stressful as this process can be everyone was so encouraging and helped our family grow! We highly recommend them for all your fertility needs!

Vic Mahillon My wife and I feel so blessed to have come across Dr Werlin and his wonderful team. This place makes you feel like a family from the second you walk into the office. Obviously we are coming here because weve had a tough go at fertility and family planning, have a million and one questions, etc. However, the staff at Coastal Fertility is incredibly empathetic and always ready to lend an ear, crying shoulder or answer any questions we may have (no matter how silly!) We have now entered our second trimester with twins and would like to spread the glorious gospel about this place. Looking forward to returning soon with our babies. THANK YOU!!

Maggie Medina Im a new patient, I called Dr. Hamiltons office to make an appointment but I was told that I couldnt get an appointment until I fill out some paperwork. I asked if I can make an appointment anyway and fill out the paperwork at my appointment and they said "NO, you have to fill the paperwork out first, then we will call you to make an appointment."! Its apparent that they care more about paperwork than actually helping people and making them feel better. With all these bad ratings that Ive see and my own personal experience with this doctors office...she (Dr. Hamilton) should lose her license and her practice due to the lack of care for peoples well being and sub par customer service. What a DISGRACE!

Teyebeh Malakoutian I have been a patient for years and love working with Alvin. Lately, they don’t answer phone calls, or call back. I was in the ER a few days ago wish severe foot pain and need a referral to my orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist and no one is calling me back. This office is not the same. Dr. Shawn Hamilton needs to get her office together.

Nicole I haven’t even met the actual doctor I was given a nurse practitioner that didn’t even read my new patient forms. They sent me the wrong dosage of one of my medications and said it couldn’t be fixed till the next appointment I had to personally check what I typed in the form to prove it was their fault and all of a sudden they could fix my dosage. I’m in stage three kidney failure and apparently that’s not concerning to them at all they were wanting me to wait till the middle of the month to fix the situation. Secretary is rude as hell may he never have to deal with someone like himself. I will be switching doctors I recommend going anywhere else. This is the second bad experience with them in only a month.

Mel L I’ve been a patient at Dr. Shawn Hamilton’s office for a few years now, and I’m extremely disappointed with the care (or lack thereof) that I’ve received. Not once in all this time have I actually seen Dr. Hamilton herself. Every single visit or consultation has been handled by a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner. One of the most frustrating aspects is the way they handle radiology results. After waiting for the results, you’re only offered a phone appointment with the PA on Fridays—apparently, that’s the only day the PA is available. If you need your results earlier, too bad. You’re forced to wait, regardless of the urgency of your situation. While I understand that many healthcare providers work remotely these days, and that it may not make sense to have staff on-site if there aren’t enough patients, this system has serious flaws. For someone in pain, the delays are unacceptable. My experience has been a constant cycle of waiting: waiting for an appointment, then waiting for radiology, waiting for the results, and finally, waiting to be referred to a specialist—who, of course, you’ll have to wait weeks to see as well. The bottom line is that it takes over a month just to start getting any real treatment or relief from pain. This office’s approach to patient care is sorely lacking, and I can no longer recommend Dr. Hamilton’s practice to anyone in need of timely and effective medical care.

Alison G Dr Molly Rossknecht has been treating my complicated migraines for several years. Besides being friendly and caring, she is indefatigable and doesnt settle for "some relief" as other neurologists have. Dr Molly helped me find the right medication regimen and performed the best nerve blocks Ive ever had, bar none. She always goes above and beyond.

Kimberly Wiig Dr. Molly Rossknecht was kind, but unfortunately we felt that she was underqualified to be charging $500 for one consultation, given her level of experience and the lack of resolution of my husband’s migraine pain. She asked a lot of questions, then explained different types of migraines, then was unclear about the treatment plan. She mentioned our time constraint (one hour appointment) several times, and then ended up prescribing a steroid taper. Ultimately we left feeling confused (and frustrated that we spent $500 for nothing). We wouldn’t recommend this headache “specialist”.

Hart Hart Doctors and staff are the best! They are everything you could hope for. Great listening, thorough, answers all questions, have patient education hand outs, extremely knowledgeable and current on migraine. The docs are alert to medication trials, which medications are in trials, awaiting FDA approved, when FDA approval is granted, migraine etiology, and migraine fundraising. Staff are a collection of gems! They finesse insurance, they are more than kind, theyre expedient dealing with incoming emails and messages, They are great with reminders, they will communicate via email or phone, they put out refreshing ice water, and keep the office environment non-triggering. They are wonderful!

Mustafa The check-in process was fast and smooth. We did not have to wait too long for the doctor after being taken to the room. The lady at the reception and the doctor were both very nice, helpful, and informative. The doctor explained the illness thoroughly, including what needed to be done during and after treatment. The treatment was quick, and we received our prescription without any issues. However, the only problem was the male nurse named Guillermo. He did not explain anything and expected us to understand and follow the procedures without guidance. He was extremely rude and even said to my 16-year-old son, “Are you special?”—a degrading comment implying that my son didn’t understand a procedure that had not been explained at all. His behavior was completely unprofessional, rude, and neglectful. He is definitely not suited for his position.

Kimberly Pruitt Dr. Brent Tatomir and Guillermo in the back office were wonderful to me today. I received prompt service, they were attentive to all of my questions and needs, and they were kind and compassionate to me when I was not feeling well. I started my antibiotics and I am on the road to recovery now. Why spend hours in an emergency room being exposed to God knows what when you can be taken care of quickly and get home to rest! I will also not need to worry about huge medical bills coming from the hospital and ALWAYS non-contracted emergency room physician. I highly recommend this urgent care facility.

Jenna Stout They do some blood tests in there so you do not need to go separately which is great! Candice was nice and thoughtful with my concerns. A lot of doctors seem to just want you out of there, but she took her time in addressing my issues.

However my prescription was not sent for approval until around 2pm this afternoon. 3/9/25 Everyone here was fabulous and efficient. I did not have an appointment and was still seen rather quickly! Sandy was super nice and professional. She also wished me a happy birthday! Ashley was professional and listened carefully to my concerns. Reggie made me feel comfortable and took my vitals quickly!

Kon Winn I like the fact that The minute you come into the door there Is no wait time and you are Seen. The staff here are professional, and I was able to receive medical care within five minutes of walking into thedoors. Dr. Candice and nurses go beyond their job description and that is highly appreciated.

Lizzy K I have been patient with Dr.B for last 4 years. I had overall good experience but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this service. 1) I made appointments with Dr.B but sometimes random doctor shows up instead of Dr.B. I understand Dr.B might had some other urgency but there was no heads up and it alarmed me couple of times. This is not trustworthy. 2) Their office is always extremely busy and unorganized. It is countless that I needed to call them or ask my insurance company to call them or fax them because of INCORRECT BILLINGS. I was charged for preventive cares multiple times and I needed to call them and contact insurance company. 3) Every time I had any issue with billings or insurance coverage, I couldnt get it fixed. You just get what they give you and thats all. Ive been put on hold so many times and then the office promised a call back but the office never called me back. You always need to follow-up with them and explain your problem repetitively. Its like they are avoiding you and waiting for you to get tired and give up.

Last minute appointments that start on time, even better. The medical and administrative staff are fantastic and they have helped me with various issues. Ucilia Wang I’ve been going to this One Medical office for years. Dr Ahn Le is patient, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. The onsite lab service is great. Courteous reception as well. The app makes communicating with the medical staff easy, from making appointments to discussing care plans or lab results.

Matthew Portman Ive never felt more at ease in a doctors office! Dr. Hakim is wonderfully pleasant and maintains a great attitude as does his staff. At no point did I feel uncomfortable during my time there and will definitely come back if I need anything. I should also note that it was one of their top priorities to make sure everything was right with the insurance before we proceeded with anything. There were no issues but I still appreciated the transparency.

Technicians, Nurses and Doctors they all treated me with respect and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I dont believe that I have ever received better care.

Hany Ibrahim I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Kaiser Permanente Irvine. From the moment I was admitted to the hospital, every detail was handled with precision and care. The attention to detail throughout the entire process—from admission to surgery and post-op care—was simply outstanding. A huge shoutout to Dr. Philip, my surgeon, who not only performed my operation flawlessly but truly saved my life in a timely manner. His expertise, professionalism, and compassion made all the difference. The nursing staff was absolutely phenomenal, providing the highest level of care with incredible attention to detail. And I have to say, the internal medicine team after my operation was second to none, ensuring that I was closely monitored and given the best post-op care possible. Zhu Chen I recently had an incredible experience with Walkie, a radiology technician at Kaiser. I was quite nervous about the procedure, but Walkie and her colleague, Amsale, went above and beyond to put me at ease. They both patiently explained every detail, encouraged me, and followed up until I felt ready to proceed. On the day of the biopsy, Walkie’s kindness and professionalism truly stood out. She took the time to explain each step, answer all my questions, and ensure I understood what was happening. From helping me adjust my position for imaging to wrapping me in a pre-warmed blanket to make the hospital gown more comfortable, she thought of everything. During the biopsy, when she noticed my hands shaking from nerves, she gently placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder—a small gesture that made a huge difference. After the procedure, she helped me relax, carefully cleaned my wounds, and checked frequently to ensure I wasn’t dizzy before assisting with the final imaging. Before I left, Walkie reviewed the post-procedure instructions thoroughly, provided her contact information in case I had any questions, and even walked me to the door. When I thanked her and wished her a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, she gave me the warmest smile and wished me the same before hurrying back to assist her next patient. Walkie didn’t just do her job—she transformed a scary experience into something manageable and even comforting. Her attention to detail, patience, and genuine care were extraordinary. I can’t thank her enough. If you’re ever at Kaiser and need radiology services, you’ll be in amazing hands with Walkie.

kris neishi Kaiser in Irvine is the best. The nurses are amazing. My room was nice and clean, all to myself. The food was really good. My doctor was so great. I’m very grateful for how well everything went and to everyone who took care of me.

Parinaz Esteghamat This place is a private office and it supposed to provide convenient care respecting patients time. However, it takes forever to meet the doctor even though the practice is not busy. I wish they could be more prepared and respectful about patients time. I am writing this review while I am still waiting.

Ulyana F Jackie Eskandr, NP is very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and personable. She is exactly what you want in a provider! I have been there twice and both times I had a very pleasant experience. The first time the medical assistant who did my vitals and blood draw was very professional and gentle. Gif Lis Very relaxing center. Me and my family was well treated by nice and friendly staff. Dr Bebawi was very professional and friendly and friendly. My daughter was very relaxed when dr Bebawi checked her. He was having a very special way in dealing with the kids. I really recommend dr Bebawi for every mum has kids.

Just J First time- we waited “Two” hours. Second time I am in the clinic right now and appointment was at 3.45pm and it is right 4.45pm and “still waiting” writing this review right from the clinic. And now I know all the Yelp reviews are True! Ill be making a phone call to the insurance to get my primacry care changed, first thing when I leave here Update: was able to see the doctor at 5.09pm when let me remind you my appointment was at 3.45pm.

John Tian I was billed $100+ for a single myChart message from my provider in response to a question about a prescription refill. Not a request for a refill, just a question on how I could get a refill without getting billed for an office visit. I was stuck with a bill that I had to dispute with Hoag. They didnt even run it through my insurance until after I disputed. Regardless of my arguments, the lack of notes in my medical records indicating any provider time was spent on my refill, or my Hoag Doctors own advice (he told me during my last physical I could request refills via myChart for free), Im left paying this bill and filing grievances with my insurance and CA.

Basith Ahamed Horrible patient service.. I was running late to my appointment, They said they offer a 15 min grace period and I was literally 1 min over from opening the door to talking to the nurse and they won’t see the patient because it’s a min over. Little kindness and courtesy at a pediatric facility would help especially if you’re working in hospital.

Kenny Lee Hoag is my favorite medical group in Orange county. The places are nice and clean, the staffs are very kind. The urgent is very useful because no appointments needed.

Tabitha Romero I take my kiddos here to the Peds doctors and now I’m a patient here with Dr. Ngo. The staff members are all very sweet and welcoming. Dr. Ngo provides excellent care. I felt like he really listened to my concerns. So glad I switched from Providence.

Lynn Smith This is the clinic where I take my dad. It is always sparkling clean and the staff are excellent, both medical and support. We couldnt be happier to have this health care facility so close to our home. It is pretty much a one stop facility with lab and imaging as well as Urgent Care on site.

Irma Dimas Dr. Kim is the best, whenever we need him his office is always able to accommodate our needs with immediate apts. Office always returns calls, sends orders to pharmacy and referrals to medical group promptly. Thank you Dr. Kim and office staff.

Jay Other staff members were all very friendly, but the woman at the front desk today(4/24) was very rude and seemed to have an attitude as if she was above everything. She was the same person I spoke to on the phone a few weeks ago when I made the reservation, and even then, I felt uncomfortable with her tone. Both the male doctor and the other female staff were great. It’s because of the woman at the front desk that I want to give only 1 star. (I don’t want to give even 1 star, but I have to, so I’m leaving one.)

Meh Ya I am not sure who is doctor there. I spent time there like 15 min talking to RN and 1 min with the doctor.. No calls for test results or appointment set up when there was clear indication of ongoing negative changes on lab test results .. However they aggressively followed up on some optional test the doctor recommend for me to take.. i think they also have communication problem internally, interpreting documents and sharing patients info. stay away from this place if you are looking for a good care from DR!

Mimi Janice Beware! If you make an appointment to see any doctor for a routine exam-they bill as a hospital visit, with a hospital facility charge to your insurance. For me, with Blue Cross PPO, I had to pay a percentage called a “coinsurance” instead of a copay. Not just that, but also it went to my deductible. This ended up being $387 instead of my usual $30 copay. I believe I should have been told about this when making the appointment and also when checking in. I called to dispute this, but they will not lower the bill.

Michael Whittier TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND UNNECESSARY FEES - AVOID!!! I went to Dr. Saadi for a physical a couple of months ago. She referred me to blood tests, then wanted to meet two weeks later to review the results. One of my blood tests had a false positive that required an additional doctor visit to clarify. I have a PPO that should have covered all but three $20 copays. Weeks after my visit I continue receiving more and more bills, to the amount of ~$550 in fees. Communication from UCI has been spotty at best, and they are unable to explain the additional fees other than "thats just how it works." This is a disappointment because Dr. Saadi herself seemed pretty nice, and UCI has a reputation of being one of the best healthcare networks in OC. However, in my experience they have been extremely unprofessional and aggressive in their bait-and-switch billing techniques, and I would suggest anyone looking for a new PCP to look elsewhere.

Ellen DJ I saw my Orthopedic surgeon sometime in August , I was scheduled to Laguna Hills initially, but had a phone if I can be seen at Gottschalk at a different time. I said okey because it is closer to where I live. I got a bill for 300 dollars that I had to pay since the billing department stated that is a considered an outpatient. hospital facility. I wrote an email, called the billing department she stated that she will email the administrator. I left a message to my ortho since I am not better, I was told I will get an answer in 2-3 days. I had a call today that he was on vacation so my message was not answered. I had to repeat my spill 3 times and they stated that they will look into it. I called the patient representative for complaints no one answered the phone. I was so tired after all these calls Ive gotten nowhere. The billing department billed my insurance company a humongous amount of money. theyre my chart portal is a joke. funny thing I am not any better.

Veronica Potter I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hoag Health Center, Genetic Testing in Irvine. At the time of testing, I was explicitly told that my out-of-pocket cost would not exceed $395. However, I was later shocked to receive a bill for $945—more than double the quoted amount! I reached out to financial services numerous times in an effort to resolve this issue. Despite being assured that my case would be reviewed and researched, no meaningful assistance was provided. Instead, I received a notice threatening collections. When I called again and offered to pay the originally quoted amount of $395, I was informed this was unacceptable. The only concession they made was a mere 10% discount, which hardly addressed the problem. BEWARE if you’re considering Hoag Health Center for genetic testing or any other services. Their lack of transparency and unwillingness to resolve billing disputes is unacceptable. There’s a reason they aren’t ranked #1, and my experience highlights why.

Annie Preston I went to Hoag Health Center in Irvine for their podiatry services. While the doctor I saw was very helpful, the level of customer service and decorum from the office staff left something to be desired. This was pretty disappointing considering Ive had great experiences at other Hoag locations. First of all, it is difficult to get a hold of anyone - I felt like I was always having to chase someone down for basic requests or answers. This included blood work orders, questions about medication side effects, refills, etc. The last straw was today when I reached out inquiring about a refill for a medication and was met with a rude and unhelpful response from one of the staff members. I havent even received any aftercare instructions for when the treatment is complete (Ive had to completely do my own research on this front). I plan to finish out the last bit of treatment I have left, but I will be seeking out other podiatry offices for any future needs after my experience with the Irvine Hoag Health Center admin/nursing staff.

Heather Yoon Please stay away from Hoag Irvine. If you have an emergency, please ask to be taken to a different ER. My mom was taken to the ER here - weve been here for 8 hours and we are still waiting for our MRI. They apparently have only one MRI machine across the entire hospital so its a constant waiting game. They keep putting others before us and will put pressure on you to stay overnight. Not a single nurse has proactively checked up on us during our 8 hour stay here. If you call for help, they will just forget about you and will not respond until youve ringed them 3x times. Even then, they will come after 45+ mins. I understand ERs can get crazy, but this is beyond ridiculous. Weve been really patient the entire day, yet Ive received no apology or empathy for the situation. No proactive communications / expectation setting from anyone here. We came here for the emergency medical attention she needs. Instead, weve basically been locked up in a room with no food / water allowed and not even the basic attention she needs. This has been a horrendous experience and I would never want to put my mom or any family member through this experience again. I had wonderful experience with Hoag Newport in the past - please go there instead.

Kandy Benitez I had a wonderful experience with my nurse & my doctor but at the end as I was requesting for my doctor note to be corrected on the date of care “Emily” the front desk lady is very rude & her demeanor was not a great ending & still left with pain due to my diagnosis for the day. People need to be really humble & not have a attitude because of their position, I worked with doctors and never in my life would want to work with a person with a attitude, if you’re going to be a nurse have some understanding please, there is no excuse to have a bad attitude.
