Gail M. Harris I brought my husband into ER 10/14/24. From the second we walked in the door we were greeted with compassion and empathy! Within 45 minutes my husband had multiple tests done; blood work, x-rays etc. Coyote, the ER nurse helping us was amazing. It took us a while to get checked into a room but my husband was constantly being attended to by the nurses and the PA( sorry , I do not recall all of their names). Once my husband was checked into a room, the constant care was amazing! 2 day stay in the hospital, my husband feels much better and is home healing. Thank you Sutter Heath!

Brittany Corder If I could give zero stars I would. I came in by ambulance and was put in a chair where I sat in a hallway for 7 hours with kidney stones. People who came in after me, left before me. Nobody bothered to check on me, keep me updated on when we were doing anything. I had to pull a random nurse aside and tell her what was happening with me and cry to her that I just wanted to leave before anything expedited. I have never felt so uncared for in all my life. I never got in a room and I had to ask for literally everything from people who weren’t even assigned to be working with me. This hospital is a joke.

Cassie Mondragon Got in right after we had an accident with a deer where the side mirror flew in and hit me in the face. Wish we went elsewhere. Nurses were rude and weren’t convinced the accident happened, instead questioned me about DV and wouldn’t let my husband in with me until I explained what happened to 3 different people. Shooting looks and being rude to my husband when he asked if people come in a lot because of the deer, one nurse was taking photos of my face for “my file” and gave him attitude and I quote “ zero.” We’re literally in the mountains and there’s dead deer along the road the hospital is off of. You see a brown man with tattoos and assume the worse? Shame. Here’s a photo of what smacked me in the face which match the exact abrasion I have.

Lisa LaFrank How have you idiots not killed more ppl? I have had nothing but one misdiagnosis after another at your ER. First it was your er Dr telling me i have a torn tendon and not a blood clot only to find out 3 months later when i fought like hell to get tested for a clot that i infact had one and it broke off and went to my lungs. Then i take my daughter in there jan of 2024 for what you said was a broken ankle and you splinted it then again in Oct 2024 she hurt it again and you tell me her ankle is once again broken but you have no way of casting it so i take her to her dr who re xrays it and tells me not only is it not broken anywhere but it has never been broken. Then i spend half a day in there yesterday because my tonsils are swollen and pussing and you tell me nothing is wrong with my tonsels and its just pharyngitis and to take advil and eat a popcicle. Come to find out i have an inflamed infected impacted tonsel stone and did in fact need antibiotics and an ear nose and throat specialist to remove it. This hospitals ER shoyld be shut down or everyone fired and hire people that actaully made it through a real medical school.

Chase Bradshaw To those with newborns/infants! DO NOT COME HERE! Whatever the circumstances, if your baby needs serious medical attention this facility lacks the experience and equipment to accurately diagnose and treat problems with your baby. The Dr they had in emergency was calling Sacramento Sutter Pediatric center for advice on how to further assist us, you can call advice yourself don’t let this guy do it for you! They were terrible when drawing blood, which was explained can be difficult with such a little one but the two nurses struggled and traded off until finally they were able to draw the blood they needed. At one point during their trade off they left the needle in my baby’s arms and both nurses took their hands off my baby and let him flail with a needle in his arm. Even the nurse at one point advised us that this facility was not ideal for us. My baby also got x rays twice, first time there was no protective equipment on myself or my baby, the second time we got protective equipment which I do not understand why we didn’t get PPE the first time. After all the tests were done and the Dr was explaining his findings, which was “I’m not sure I’m still on the phone with Sacramento Sutter pediatrics”, another nurse popped her head in the door and said she needed him elsewhere and without even completing his sentence or saying anything to us he just got up and left. After hours of this Dr being the middle man between us and proper treatment we finally decided to leave. At this point he tried to stop us and get us to sign an AMA form but after there was more delays and stalling we just walked out. Again I cannot stress this enough, I have never had such a terrifying and frustrating experience while trying to get help from a doctor. Coming here was a huge mistake that I will never forget and will never forgive myself for, I should have listened to the other bad reviews of this sub par facility.

Matt n Faye Hovey We love all the doctors at Sutter Amador Pediatrics Center! I should have made reviews before this but didnt know how to. I could have written tons of glowing reviews with 5 stars at this point. For 15 years they have walked with us through the ups and downs of our childrens health. They have celebrated wellness and remission with us and they have been there to help us through emergencies. I am particularly thankful and impressed with how the team works together and fills in when our primary doctor cant see us. Multiple times, through their team work and extra time, have they saved us from having to go to the hospital, helped keep our kids safe, and able to recover at home. AND- when it was an emergency, their responses were always timely, professional, and compassionate.

Lisa Giordano My granddaughter has an infection in her female region. She screams each & every time she pees or is changed. Its heartbreaking. I was told to give her baths with baking soda and apply an antibiotic cream to it. When I left I was told that an escript had been sent to the pharmacy and would be ready later that evening. I called 3 different times. No rx. Called the pharmacy AND the Drs office the next morning for hours trying to get the rx. Finally got to talk to someone at the Drs office only to find out that I couldve got the medicine "over the counter" . No rx was needed. Wow!! Really?! She endured an extra night and morning of suffering because this was not explained to me earlier. This grandmother is not happy.

Arely Gizelle If I could do NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!! My infant had a culture done on 3/16 and we were seen by Dr.Nair on 3/17. She stated it was just baby acne and to apply cortisone on it. On 3/18 she called us and stated the culture was negative and to continue to apply cortisone. We took baby to Sutter Health childrens ER in Sacramento and within 10 minutes they said she had an infection and pulled up the results from her culture and stated that it was positive and prescribed her antibiotics, and they did run some blood tests to make sure the infection didn’t go to her blood. Thank goodness it didn’t! I am very upset that this could of ended up horribly for my newborn if I hadn’t been so persistent. I will never go to this doctor office again. I’m am so disappointed in the care for our little babies in the world that don’t have their own voice yet

Oisin McGuigan Two months out for appointments. They ask you what day you prefer to schedule and then pick another day, the phone selection indicates appointments but they transfer you anyway. They sound nice and the building looks ok but forget about actually getting in there.

James C Ive only had excellent service since we moved here in May of 2020. My kids are almost 2, 3, and almost 5. Weve had regular checkups, school physicals and vaccinations. A friend of ours is a nurse at a nearby hospital and brings her kids here and we chose this office on her recommendation.
