Bird Rock Vista Point - Pebble Beach (CA)

5 /5 Prosun Roy: One of the better known and sought after Vista Points on the 17 Miles Drive. Ample Parking, good Restrooms available. Nice Pathway with benches at regular interval. Best part is the panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and mini rocky island, not far off the coast, teaming with Birds (mostly Brown Pelicans, Brandts Cormorants, Western Gulls), Harbor seals and California sea lions.

5 /5 Lakshya Garg: Great place to be in the morning or evening. This place has beautiful sea, big rocks and sea life to watch. The scenic beauty this place offers with the peace is unmatchable and it is easy to reach from Bay area.

5 /5 Paul Vivas: Scenic viewpoint to see Birds island. The road is really scenic, going along rout 1 is something special. We actually decided to drive it from SF to LA so that my wife could enjoy it more!

5 /5 BINBIN GU: The 17-Mile Drive is a private scenic road located off Highway 1, featuring stunning coastlines, 8 golf courses, 2 luxury hotels, and restaurants. Entrance Fee: $12 per vehicle. Suggested Duration: With a speed limit of 25 mph, plan for 1-2 hours to explore at a leisurely pace, stopping along the way. Best Time to Visit: Spring and fall are ideal. If visiting in the summer, it’s recommended to come in the afternoon to avoid the morning fog. Facilities: Restrooms are available at Bird Rock and the Pebble Beach Visitor Center. Note: Drones are not permitted.
