5 /5 Matt Stratton: This review does not relate to any extensive repair work performed by Main Street Automotive, as I was lucky enough to have them find no need for extensive repairs.
This review was, however, prompted by a broken down car... On July 3rd.. and were certainly not in Kansas anymore.
Shops were booked, often for weeks.
The more than rather affable man on the phone was just nice to talk to.. In person too.
The "price for a diagnosis", $190, seemed steep to me the first time I heard it over in El Dorado. This place was closer to camp, which would be relatively handy for my imposed rides/back, and its funny how often Californians remind you where were at.
I think it was maybe the next day, which would of course been the 4th, I glanced down at my little bit of retro digital and eventually came to realize theres no way those guys hooked my battery back up at noon.
I wouldnt want to objectify the people who had my car and my attention and my interests in mind by placing a label of "soft skills" upon all of them, but then again they only had my car for like 4 hours, so..
Very nice, very accommodating, very communicative, very listenative, very aggravating the way your tap to pay can just sane "0" 4 different ways.
I pulled off of Main Street Automotives lot at 5:20 something on July 3rd, prior to at least a pair of employees.
The cost of my repair was nominal, the cost of my visit was that $190, the walk from here to Coloma... something, something "priceless".
Thank yall
