He may not answer the phone as he is often in the shop working. Stop by and see Don for some quality work.

HE looks for other maintenance needs and leaves a note and a possible referral to another Great person to work on the vehicle. The charges are always right on with no extras. They weren’t able to find the issue and suggested replacing things that didn’t need to be replaced and that “may help the problem”. I found Peter’s Automotive and let him know the dilemma. He immediately suggested what I was trying to suggest to the other mechanics in town. He is such a straight-forward old school mechanic that isn’t out for your money. He will find the problem, tell you what fluids to get at the store before the problem gets worse. He instantly became my go to mechanic, and it only took one hour visit. He was so honest and helpful, my wife got on and made a good review herself. I highly HIGHLY recommend him before any other shop in SLO. 20/10 service.

5 /5 kristin salinas: i am just absolutely blown away by the professionalism and work done by don. we brought our car in after being given the run around by multiple car shops here in the area and within 30 seconds of hearing our issues he had the answers that we needed. he’s the real deal and such a respectable and honest man. i seriously cannot recommend him enough!
