Melinda Zupaniotis Want to feel POSH? Go to LaPosh Salon! Conveniently located in Northwood Plaza on the Countryside/Safety Harbor line, this beautifully laid out establishment has a fluttering wave of clientele who have caviar taste, but a reasonable budget. LaPosh does not fail to deliver. On my first interaction with them today, I called with a rather pathetic inquiry: I broke my arm 2 weeks ago and have not been able to wash my hair. I had been sustaining myself on dry shampoo for all that time and it was driving me crazy. The only thing I wanted was a clean head of hair to match the sponge baths that were necessary while my arm healed. For a Luxe Girl, that was a jagged pill to swallow. Enter Julie: She answered the phone and was sweet-as-pie and told me just to come in when I could, and they would be able fit me in to give me a simple wash. When I arrived, they already knew who I was (arm sling) and I had just a short wait in their beautiful boutique waiting area full of gorgeous jewelry and knick-knacks by local artisans. I was paired up with the lovely Brooke, who did an amazing job. Not only did she wash my hair and condition it to death, but also provided an amazing scalp massage. She then went over the top, attempting to dry my shirt (my fault!) and added product to my hair so I didn’t frizz out. I did not request a bow dry, although it was offered. Heather at the front desk was welcoming, sweet, and awesome. I also met another darling colleague named Lisa. It seems like everybody there is truly a family, and their clientele is very loyal for a good reason: they do great work and truly care about their clients! If you are looking for a luxury experience, exceptional products, and enhanced services - at reasonable prices with ample parking - look no further than LaPosh. PS. My girl, Brooke, is also a Master Certified Hair Extension Specialist and you should see her results! Its amazing. Ask for her by name! Jacklyn Schniepp Sarah is great! Seen her a few times now and she’s personable and I always get what I want. Walk out of there feeling brand new! The lobby has always been clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Kelsey White I am from Canada and have been bleaching my hair for the last 6 years (Calgary, Toronto and Halifax) and have never been able to find a professional that can do my hair the exact way I want. I’ve been asking for the “icy” look that no one seems to be able to complete. My life changed when I went to Lindsey during my vacation in Florida. That is until I went to Bella’s Beauty Salon & Spa and was paired up with Michelle! She is awesome! We met for a consult and based on that I booked an appointment. Elizabeth Hayward I found Bella’s Beauty Salon after moving to FL and in desperate need of a new hairstylist who could keep up with my hair - which doesn’t grow well and I usually get k tip extensions every three months max. I did some research on Tampa broadly and someone had recommended Alba at Bella’s. I’ve now had a couple appointments with Alba (removing k tips, installing k tips, coloring) and I am so grateful I found her. She’s talented - no denying that- capable of completely transforming hair! She’s also kind and relaxed, making the day at the salon stress free. I’ve had major hair trauma and bad experiences over the years and I so I’m super sensitive to hair care/stylists but I feel like I am in good hands every time I’m with Alba. It’s such a relief. And she makes me look and feel beautiful after every install. K tips are meticulous and I’ve had some hairstylists try to sway me from doing them but alba heard me out when I first came in mentioning I wanted to keep up with them, she assessed me hair and worked with me to make sure what we’re doing isn’t damaging or preventing my natural hair from growing, too! Sarah Lane Ive been a client of Cindys for a decade, and its great to continue to see her with this new space! She always knows exactly what type of cut Im looking for based on my descriptions. She makes excellent recommendations both for what services you should get and what products might work for you at home. But more importantly, in addition to being a skilled and knowledgeable stylist, she also has that important "people person" factor, where she really listens to you to help find something that works. My hair is a major point of overstimulation for me (thick hair in the Florida heat/humidity doesnt feel great), and she always works with me to find a cut that both looks good and relieves the sensory overload.

Tylor M Met CHRISTINA WATSON (Loft 23) for the first time and this was literal THERAPY for me. Im a curly-haired man in my early 30s whos just recently started experiencing the horrors of male pattern hair loss and losing the long, thick curls in the front has been so painful. Ive been terrified of getting a cut and the result was a head of hair that desperately needed a one. As SOON as I walked into the salon, Chris was there to greet me incredibly warmly and I felt immediately at ease. I told her my story and concerns and hopes and everything and she gave me tons of great advice and kind words and just really made me feel like things were going to be OK, which I really needed to hear. I cannot stress how above and beyond she went - Ive never had a hair stylist that felt like she cared so very much, I really appreciated it. The cut felt great, she has experience working with curly hair, and I could tell. My scalp and hair felt SO good, the entire experience was therapeutic both emotionally and physically. She understood the importance of how to shape the hair to fit the shape of the head and the result was a cut that made me feel SO much lighter without losing the volume that Im trying to hold onto. I feel like I look younger too!!! Which was a very nice surprise, haha. Also, she even gave me a bottle of styling product for free!!! Such kindness and generosity. She is such a sweetheart and the kindest person, legitimately the best haircut experience Ive ever had. Im looking forward to continuing my hair journey and figuring out exactly how I want my hair to look until I find something Im perfectly happy with; I trust Chris to help me get to that point, and I have confidence she can help you do the same. :)

Jaime Craft Avoid stylist Courtney Grudis. Extremely unprofessional, rude and charges an astronomical amount. Had been going to her for a while, last appointment had highlights and cut. Was charged OVER $600 and found pieces of fried hair and missing hair! Wasn’t gonna make a big deal just wasn’t gonna go back. Had talked about it with a couple friends who go to her as well and I guess they must of said something because she sent me this scathing text message pictured at 10pm at night. Extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism and the fact that there was no etiquette at all to even know or rectify the issue. So unless you wanna spend an arm and leg for fried hair and deal with passive aggressive childish behavior i recommend you DONT GO.

Amanda is not only well trained and loves her profession but she tells you what will or won’t work depending on the structure of your hair. She listens and explains her recommendations. They dont push unnecessary products, they let you know how to best treat your hair, and they care about their customers. If there is anything that’s on your mind you will definitely feel confident sharing those thoughts with Cheyenne, she really sets up a safe place for you while you’re in her chair! CM Howard I have been going to the salon for over 2years. I inquired about extensions and Andrea went through everything with me, so I decided to do it. The first year was fine, then she started raising her prices because she got a promotion . It cost me over a hundred dollar more than previously. I continued to go there. 2nd year they started for charging me per hour for extensions. I had a heart attack when she gave me a bill for over $500. So it took her less than 2 hours for application, and she charged me for 3 hours. She says she was timing it. This happened several times. The last straw was when I was told I have to give them a deposit, because I didnt buy the hair from them??? I was doing that for years. Please do not go there, eventually your price of service will continue to go up, and be treated like they dont care, you dont matter.

BB Custom Embroidery I moved here from Missouri two years ago. I searched and searched for a stylist to do my extensions and coloring. I finally came across Andrea. Hands down she’s been a godsend! My hair was in a rough condition from the extensions that the previous install i had done in Missouri. Andrea recommended a new technique that she thought would better suit my fine and thin hair without it ripping it out. Am i glad i found her! My hair is the healthiest it’s ever been and the extensions have held up amazing without ripping my own hair out. Andrea is always upfront and honest about pricing, she gives you real expectations not unrealistic. There’s been a few times I’ve wanted to do more but she always lets me know beforehand that we need to wait just a tad longer for my hair to strengthen and grow out. And, yes she was right. Trust her completely. She goes over the type of extensions you want and recommends which one would be better for your hair. She also goes through all the colors to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want. She goes through a treatment form with you to list out all the charges, services and what the total cost will be. Hands down the best stylist I’ve ever been to.

6789 What a treasure! Staying in this area for a couple of months and feeling desperate to find a great stylist. Lucky me to have stumbled on Salon South Beach. Jelena heard me when I said I wanted my hair cut short but didn’t have a style in mind. She showed me some pictures and in no time it was perfect! I love it! Emily Gennetti I moved to Florida and like many.. FREAKED about finding a hair stylist as it’s the most nerve wracking connection to make in a new location. Suzi was an INSTANT match! She’s amazing at what she does and perfected my color and cut on DAY 1! I’ve referred soooo many clients her way and I will continue to as my hair is always exactly what I want when I leave the salon. I have naturally dark brown hair, and I’m a now forever blonde, as she keeps it healthy and maintained every 4-5 weeks. I would not go anywhere else! Love her!

Suzanne Kramer Suzi Bernard is a bully. Ive never experienced anything like this in my life and Ive lived in NY & FL, seen quite a few stylists. The salon is cute and there seem to be a number of talented stylists there but not Suzi. She cant apply color correctly, will insist you schedule your next appt when you know you shouldnt due to an ever changing schedule, then chastize you if you need to change it.

LT Suzi is very “in your face”. It was like I was in the military and she was systematically questioning me and my hair history without empathy. . I turned on my heels and left. Wow just wow. Extremely confrontational at consult, not my cup of tea. In 60 years, never been this uncomfortable at hair salon.. I’m happy where I am now. Tone it down, girl!

bonnie harrison KATT did my roots, highlights, cut and styling! I am amazed at the results. Normally my hair (dark) has pulled a lot of golds and red undertones. I was told, time upon time, that my hair would never be without them. Well, KATT proved a long list of qualified stylists wrong! I have a cool tone mix of colors I never thought I would see with my hair! I am beyond thrilled with her work!

Patrice Morton Rose at Moda Milano has been my stylist for several years now and she always does an amazing job. She is a hair magician! My hair is not easy to manage but she recommends treatments that keep it looking smooth and shiny, even in this Florida humidity. She is an expert colorist and adds just the right amount of highlights to keep my hair looking natural, vibrant and healthy. She takes great pride in her work and really cares for her clients. Salpy Fowler Omar is a magician with hair. I have very long thick coarse curly hair. I had problems finding people who understood how to tame it. I came to Omar with a very damaged black hair and a very bad haircut . He was the first hairdresser to understand my hair. His cut fit me and then his hair treatments have helped reduce the damage. My color is the best it has ever been. I will not allow anyone else to touch my hair. I now get complements everywhere I go about what beautiful hair I have.

Edie Francis I had Covid and because of being extremely sick I lost most of my hair. I am new to Florida and found Amanda online. She is beautiful inside and out!! She had her work cut out for her. I have been extremely depressed about my hair and she did a wonderful job to make it beautiful. Thank you Amanda you will forever be my angel!!!

Alexandra Meli Loved going to Omar’s Magic inside of My Salon Suites Clearwater for my cut and color. He worked with me to achieve my hair goals and create a work of art on my head. Would 10 out of 10 recommend. The environment is very relaxed and professional and his attention to detail really shows.

Pam Torrie I needed a stylist that could cut my curly hair. Thats exactly what I got. Margita did a GREAT job! She listened to me, made recommendations, and I left with exactly what I wanted. The salon was clean and everyone was very friendly. Ill be going back.

Kaylie Grier I went and got my blonde redone and was left under the hair dryer for an hour. Half the hair that was dyed fell out due to being fried. The hair dresser then proceeded to hide the hair that was lost from me multiple times (picture of the hidden hair loss below) and then charged me almost $200 for hair so brittle I was scared to brush due to fear of more hair loss. When I messaged the owner she said she “didn’t know what to tell Me” overall it was a horrible traumatic experience and I do not recommend, super unprofessional.

Natalie Irwin I have been seeing Madison at Pink Hair Salon for several months now and highly recommend her! She is an excellent hair stylist and I never leave disappointed. She is also very kind and easy to talk with which is definitely an added bonus when it comes to choosing the right stylist!

Dana Case As a professional in the financial industry and member service- I sought advice. The following states: "From a service provider standpoint: If the client cancelled outside of the cancellation terms , given the current economic times there should be an honor that deposit for a later date of their choosing. Now if it was within the cancellation frame, they would get their deposit back if they didnt wish to reschedule. (Which I chose not to reschedule). No service was rendered, no inconvenience for the provider and that is how you build that trust with your future client that you arent just trynna get rich off deposits"( -but I digress). I hope that deposit is as important to the merchant as much as losing a potential client.

MARIA Barbers and lady’s that do haircuts are great inside problem is the reception with a bad customer service, and doesn’t even clean the lobby or call somebody to clean hairs all over the lobby while waiting :(
