Reema Chetnani Anna W did an excellent job with my hair! I walked in with very dry damaged thick frizzy hair and opted for a treatment with wash/blow-dry and style. Anna worked on my hair with no judgements; she listened to what I was looking for and fixed my hair with a lot of care making me absolutely love my hair and style. She even gave me tips on maintaining my hair with no push on buying products. Excellent customer service, thank you so much Anna!! I am looking forward to being there again for future services.

Fay Wright I recently got my hair done at Pretty Green Salon by the owner Jamie and I am blown away. The salon is beautiful, welcoming and Jamie is truly a master of her craft. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and was able to achieve and blow away my expectations. Finding someone you trust with your hair is hard but I truly recommend Jamie and the team at Pretty Green if you are looking for a local place to get your hair or other beauty services done. I also love their use of all organic products! Not having that ammonia smell while getting my hair dyed was a game changer and my hair truly hasn’t felt better. Victoria Baez Jayme is amazing! I was very nervous to get my first curly cut, but I couldn’t have chosen a better stylist to book with. Jayme was extremely helpful in explaining what my hair needs, what I should change in my routine, and explained each step in the styling process. My hair was long, well over due for a hair cut, and very frizzy. Jayme helped me understand exactly what my curly hair needed to have the hydrated, defined and bouncy curls I wanted. Besides the amazing customer service and attention to detail, his services are well priced and worth every penny. I would 1000% recommend Jayme for other curly heads, especially if you need some guidance.

Sadie Milner This was my first time getting a “curly cut” by a hairdresser (should say magician) who knows how to handle and cut my curls. Jayme was very nice, and knowledgeable, and he really listened to what I was look for. I highly recommend his services. I have never paid this much for a cut, however, the results are well worth every penny!

Jessica made me feel super comfortable and listened to my routine, preferences and concerns. I have never really felt that way with any other stylist. She gave me the perfect cut and helped me to find products that actually work. I was never pushed into buying products that I wouldnt actually use. I have to say that first, the service is five star, the environment is welcoming and friendly and Nicole assessed my hair type and advised on the best choice of haircut for my lifestyle (I don’t really have time to style it much) and hair. I’m very happy to say that ever since, I haven’t had a bad hair day! The haircut she gave me looks good even when I do nothing but air dry! I recommend for everyone ❤️

B Crypto After having multiple bad hair cuts at different salons around Jacksonville, I finally found an amazing hair stylist at San Marco Strands. Ralph, the hair stylist that I’ve been seeing there, does an absolute amazing job. He is very professional, friendly, and he really takes his time to make sure his cuts and styles are perfect. Every time he cuts my hair, it always looks like the best cut/style I’ve ever had. I will never go to another barber or hair dresser in the Jacksonville area again. On top of the great service the pricing is also unbeatable for the treatment you receive at this salon. My wife also has her hair done by him routinely and he’s does amazing work with women’s hair as well. If you are looking for a new hair stylist don’t hesitate to go to strands!! Samantha Allen Got my hair done by Alexus. We did some highlights & a cut. I’m so happy with the results & this was the most relaxing hair experience I’ve had. She’s very knowledgeable & made me feel comfortable. The salon is super cute & has its own parking lot. Highly recommend booking with Alexus. Will be back soon!

Shanialy Rodriguez I had come here before and they had done a good job but not this last time. I explained how I wanted just the same style but this girl messed up my hair!! It is uneven and I cant even style it anymore. She had done it well in the beginning but then wanted to take pictures and started randomly cutting it down even more on the sides and my hair ended up being completely uneven!! I have had to put my hair up since i came here, I feel so ugly now. Self-esteem never been so low. It really saddens me that I have to put this review because I had previously came here twice and it was amazing. For reference, the last picture is how my hair looked a week before. Update 2025: They never did anything after I called. I felt horrible with my hair until I decided to go to a different place. If you have curly hair or are not white, dont go here.

Stylist asked my preference and took time to explain what she was doing during my whole experience. I’ve never felt more pampered!!! Kelly Colston I had an excellent experience at Cultivate Salon! Alexus was my stylist and she did an absolutely amazing job. She worked with me on choosing a hair cut and style that I not only love the look of, but also fit within my lifestyle and abilities to style at home. I had a significant amount of bleach damage and she also worked with me on repairing the damage and now it’s barely noticeable. She gave me great recommendations for how to take better care of my hair at home and which products would work best with my hair. I had never really had a hairstylist do that with me before and now I’m significantly more confident in my ability to style my hair at home. Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be going back to Alexus at Cultivate for all my hair needs!

Farlin Guzmán It was my first time there, thank God they were able to have me the same day I called to make the appointment. They were very flexible on finding a time for me to go. Ja took care of me for a hair cut and styling, she was very kind and mindful of what I was looking for in a hair cut and how I would like my hair to be styled. Malice Quaint spot on Oak Street. Multiple salon artists can work here. They have small little rentals. Theyre cute. My artists name was Tabitha. She was amazing. Very talkative which is nice. She told my friend and I about products we could use for our hair for health, vitality, and growth. She did my hair just like the photo I showed her and it came out great. She said I had an oval face so the haircut accentuated it. She used a heat protectant before blowdrying and straightening my hair. She also did an amazing job on my friends hair. Hes never straightened it before and it looked completely different when she finished. Ive never seen his hair look so nice in the 13 years Ive known him. She took six inches off his hair too since he had so much breakage. Would definitely come back

I got a small twist out and from wash to finish it took all of 3 hours. Because of her bubbly personality the time just flew by. Tenisha Reales Lizette has been my local stylist for over two years. She came highly recommended from a neighbor. Not only is she the ultimate professional, but she also has a heart for her clients. With her knowledgeable and careful guidance, my hair has recovered from prior damage and grown in the process. She makes the client in her chair her sole focus instead of trying unsuccessfully to multitask with multiple clients at once. She maintains a clean salon with lovely plants that add to the peaceful ambience. Besides always creating a fresh and unique look, Lizette also manages to boost my confidence and engage in meaningful conversation during our time together. She is a true blessing in my life and you will find the same!

Christiana Broughton This was my first time at Styles 2 Inspire, Lizette was absolutely wonderful to work with! She and her assistant were very sweet, respectful, professional and fun to talk to. Maryclare Krusing Phi Eco has been cutting and coloring my hair for well over a year. Carissa, the owner, is by far one of the best haircutters I have ever had as she understands hair texture and knows how to cut any type of hair but especially difficult coarse textures, long hair, and super wavy hair. She understands and performs highly effective layering which maximizes the fullness of the hair and the hair after her cuts seems to lay perfect wash after wash. Moreover, she understands the effects of the salt air and humidity on ones hair and is able to enhance the natural wave of the hair in spite of the elements. Carissa is a must see hair professional. Her entire staff is excellent. Her product line is from Italy and is incredibly gentle and effective for all hair types. The scalp massage which accompanies the hair conditioning is absolutely superb. Phi Eco is a must recommend salon.

Dill Laura (Laura Dill Art) I’ve been getting my hair done by Lacey for years because I’ve always gotten a great cut that is stylish and suits my long fine hair. (Sounds simple, but it’s not!) Recently I’ve also started using some new products she recommended and my hair is so silky soft with lovely body. I’m a huge fan! Highly recommend.

Iris Munson I really wanted to like this place after reading so many great reviews, but unfortunately I received the worst haircut I’ve ever paid for. I asked for a simple one length trim and now my hair is completely lopsided and looks like it was cut straight across with kitchen scissors. The owner was also pretty rude and did not make me or my sister feel welcome. My sister had a very friendly stylist but also did not get the cut she requested, which was curtain bangs/wispy side bangs, she received straight across bangs. To pay $150 for 2 haircuts and not get what you asked for, is really disappointing. We will not be returning.

Practical Delites Above and beyond satisfied...from the initial phone call when I made my appointment with one of the owners, Tony, to the beautiful low lights and cut, with attention to detail from my hair stylist, Carmella. Initially when I called, it was more than refreshing to have the phone answered and not sent to voice mail. Tony took the time to ask questions about my hair texture, if I was growing out highlights or needed to update color. With his recommendation he was able to schedule me appropriately. Carmella and I talked about what I was hoping to achieve with my salon visit. She is a great listener, and creates a beautiful version of her clients. I never felt rushed, and their warm, friendly, conversation was appreciated. I am happy to say I will definitely be making another appointment. It is very apparent Hair & Color Specialists love what they do!

John Biggerstaff My wife was gifted a hair appointment with Felicia. I havent seen such a beautiful style, attention to details in shortening her overall length, or such a perfect understanding and match from my wifes vision and wishes, to Felicias expertise! The locale is easy to find, parking is a little limited, and theres no real waiting thats appropriate for small children, but its a FANTASTIC salon and I hope my wife will go back to Felicia for all of her future hair needs.

Felicia is an absolute artist with both her cut and color and I am so impressed with how elegant, dimensional and beautiful my color is. Victoria JT I got my hair washed and a layered hair cut.. Very high-end, I enjoyed a relaxing hair wash while sipping a mimosa. The hair stylist was very knowledgeable and helpful with some tips on taking care of my hair. My hair looked very healthy and taken care of afterwards As a college student, it was out my price range. For the hair wash and cut it was $190 but then they were able to lower it to $150. Due to not knowing the length and state of my hair when I set up the appointment. They weren’t able to give a price over the phone beforehand. This was my first time in years that I got a haircut. So I can’t compare the salon to others.

Juneka Roswell This salon dropped the ball. In summary, I had an afternoon appointment with the Braider. First my appointment was pushed back 1 hour, which was communicated. Then, I arrived at my appointment time, wait 30 minutes and leave. It is very disrespectful of my time to arrive more than 30 minutes late and not communicate that to the client. Another stylist offered to wash my hair while we wait. But I declined because I already waited 30 minutes and was very upset. I gave 2 stars because the salon is very clean, quiet and organized and pricing for styling is affordable.

Brandi West I received a trim and partial color from Danielle and she is amazing!! I’ve been rocking my all natural dark brown for a year now, and needed a little color to break it up. She reached out to me and worked within my price range with no hesitation. She made me feel so comfortable, I’m not ashamed to admit I dozed off at one point! I felt so bored of my look, and she really brightened me up and made me feel like myself again. It was the first time we had met, but she treated me like I was no stranger at all. The sweetest! Not to mention the salon is super cute and clean!

Kim Morales I decided to go to this place soley based on the reviews. I absolutely loved how my hair came out. It was done by Stasia aka Stash. She did retouch on my blonde hair and tone. This has been the second time she has done it. The customer service is great. They offer drinks varying from water to alcoholic beverages. The store is very clean and stylish. I enjoyed that they sell art from local artists. I will continue to do my hair here.

kylie james BEST HAIR SALON EVER!!!! This place is a literal dream come true, talk about girl world! Every hairdresser is the sweetest and does the most amazing work. My girl is Ema and let’s just say i’ve never walked out of there not feeling my most confident best self. She truly works magic! All of the girls are constantly checking on you and making sure you’re good and not thirsty or hungry. I 1000% recommend this place! I’ve never felt so relaxed and happy at a hair salon before.

Melissa Mora I went to MonCiel because I had gotten my hair done by Nikki while she was at Paul Mitchell. After she graduated she started working at MonCiel so when i decided to go from my blonde highlights to full red i of course reached back out to nikki and she set up a consultation with Alyssa so we could create a game plan to get me to my desired color. Alyssa and Paris were both so kind and immediately made me feel like we’ve known each other forever and were all about getting me my dream hair. Alyssa did amazing work after I told her i wanted to go red but didn’t want to have my hair feel fried or dead. We decided to bleach everything to get an even color all around and she made sure she kept my hair feeling and looking amazing. This entire team is so kind and has so much knowledge and they do an amazing job at explaining what would be best to get a desired look. i will never trust anyone with my hair as much as i trust Nikki Paris and of course my girl Alyssa
