Warm up Banham Outstanding Care at Baptist Health Doctors Hospital. I had an exceptional experience at Baptist health Doctors Hospital in Miami. While traveling from California to Key West, i suddenly felt hill with a fever, headache and chills. After checking reviews, my daughter and i decided to go to this hospital, and it was the best decision we could have made. From the moment I arrived, I was taken in without any delay and placed in a clean well-equipped room. The medical team wasted no time running various tests, and I immediately felt well cared for by a team of professionals. The doctors a nurses, all in their 30s and early 40s, were not only highly skilled but also compassionate and attentive. The level of service was outstanding-efficient, thorough, and caring. Within three hours, I left the hospital fever-free and feeling significantly better. The prompt and effective treatment made all the difference. This is, without a doubt, the best hospital i have ever been to. If I ever need medical care in Miami again, i wouldnt hesitate to return. Highly recommend!

Carlos Fuertes The emergency immediately open admission and intake was quick. Wheelchairs accessible. Firstly, positive feedback and overall service area was well clean. Very intense and informative doctor/staff. Motion was successive as seamless as possible. Low traffic. Best known doctors and highly experienced. Machines and area sterile and new. LongLive Rock Pretty good hospital. However, they need to cut waste. Visiting a patient, I was waiting in the lobby, you can see so many extra employees having a good time and not working. Used a restroom on the second floor. The toilet seat was worn and disgusting. They have an army of maintenance personnel, so hard to believe this. Perhaps they need some management changes.

T D I had two outpatient surgical procedures and every step from beginning to end was done beautifully. From the warm and friendly welcoming staff at the sign in desk to the nurses and doctors who cared for me. All were exceptional, kind, and the utmost professionals. A F True doctors are lacking at many hospitals in Miami. Had an okay experience at this hospital but not happy with the bedside manner of nurse Estrada. Felt I was treated like cattle. And his negative outlook on things made me even more nervous that when I went in. Hospitals need to make sure that they supervise their medical personnel and listen to the reviews online so that they can keep a rather clean and professional house as far as doctors and nurses is concerned. That would really make a difference in the life of a patient.

This is not the case with Baptist Hospital Doral… in this hospital, I was attended to immediately upon arrival by an incredible, professional, and dedicated staff. Micheal in phase 1 of recovery held my daughters hand an comforted her as she woke up with fear after anesthesia. Ceci in phase 2 of recovery was friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this location if you are considering outpatient surgery.

Julia Francisco-Simoes Absolutely incredible experience at Mercy Hospital for labor, delivery, and postpartum care! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The nurses were all so sweet, insightful, and attentive—they truly made me feel cared for every step of the way. My delivery went so smoothly thanks to their expertise and kindness, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team by my side. On top of the amazing care, the food was delicious! It felt like I was being pampered the entire time. Every detail was thought out to ensure I was comfortable and supported. I can’t thank the staff enough for making this such a positive and memorable experience. If you’re considering where to deliver, I cannot recommend Mercy Hospital enough! Five stars all the way!

Rick My Wife & I welcome a newborn a week and a half ago. Great Help All the staff was. Checked us right in early over the weekend. Delivery floor was very clean and nurses were very attentive! There was bonding time with your baby and a private room. There was no baby nursery, the moment my baby was born she was always near. She only left once for one test which I do feel I wanted to be more apart of but overall just excellent bedside manner and they answered any questions we had. Special Special thanks to all the nurses that helped on those days. Really sorry that I cant remember the midwife that actually checks the baby on delivery she was excellent. Also Janet, Bailey who was great, and and also Mrs. Marie! who gave us great comfort as well. My wife sends great gratitude to you all as well. Thank you again.

cirley alba The staff is generally very friendly, the facilities are excellent, clean, and have everything necessary to not only provide excellent health services but also to make patients feel comfortable and safe. The view from the rooms is spectacular, but it’s just a minor detail compared to the excellent service from the medical staff. I want to give special congratulations to the nursing staff. Details like the meal menu, mommy snacks, and the celebration lunch make recovery more pleasant. Overall, my experience was very good—excellent service, very good facilities, and an excellent medical team!

Although the hospital is a 30-minute drive from my home, I initially chose it based on the availability of an appointment that suited my schedule. However, after my experience, I would choose this facility again—even if a closer option were available. The staff was exceptionally caring. Although I experienced no wait time, they made sure to courteously explain any perceived delays in processing my paperwork, my procedure, or any other aspect of my visit. Janette Garcia Please do not hesitate to have a loved one transferred to Select Specialty Hospital Miami. There comes a time in life where one needs to make difficult decisions for your loved ones and choosing this hospital was one of the easiest processes for me. I have encountered my share of personnel in the medical industry and the admissions department at Select Miami made this the smoothest and most stress free for me. My loved one was transferred from Jackson South within 4 hours of receiving the RX for transfer. His room was accommodated immediately, and I was called the minute he arrived and informed on his state of being. Communication is so important, and I cannot stress enough that we all live hectic lives, and unfortunately cannot be at a hospital 24-7, but here at Select Specialty Hospital Miami communication happens on a daily and was and has been top key. Not to mention you can call and are treated with care and compassion, theres patience over the phone to exchange information on the patient, which in many hospitals this case is very different. I would like to take the time to mention accouple of people that made an impact for me, and I apologize for not knowing some of the titles, Charge Nurse Yashira, Celso, Doris, Nurses Station Xuchil and Isa, The CNAs who do their job with a smile asking if theres anything else they can do to accommodate the patient and the family, Odalys, Ana, & Katia. The physical therapy team who takes the time to explain and repeat themselves on range of motion importance. The Doctors compassionate way of explaining what process will work better for the patient and exactly what will be done in his favor. Ivan & Grace from respiratory taking their time on always making sure the bipap machine is working to the patients needs and comfort. An employee gentleman named Danny would pass by just to conversate with my loved one to say hello and how was his day going. I havent received or seen this level of care or human connection in any other hospital he has been at since February. You see the care from the beginning with admissions to the date of arrival and the during process time of stay at the hospital. Everything flows from day one. I cannot stress enough that the staff is amazing, and we are all very pleased with the level of care. Thank you and God Bless all of you.

EVY I was hesitant because I had mixed feelings about Victoria but this place is completely independent and WONDERFUL. I am from out of state and have to leave my 92yr old dad here and I feel complete confidence he is in the most capable caring hands possible. This time is my first time to write a review i can tell that this hospital was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and caring medical staff. When I say the doctors and all the other employees of this hospital made me and my whole family feel that my mother in safe hands and made it as comfortable as they possibly could. This was the best team of medical staff, ( doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dietician, respiratory and rehab therapists), administration and case managers were very supportive of all family decisions and you can just believe they are the best. I am truly grateful and I appreciated all the willingness to answer questions, provided daily updates, get the problems resolved and treated my mother with respect, compassionate and tender loving care. Because they really do care. Thank you so much for providing such wonderful service and for providing with an exceptional experience.

Capture Today From the day my family and I toured the Select Specialty hospital we enjoyed the vibe and flow we could both see and feel between the staff members. Which is something that carried over throughout the 3 months my mother was there. I believe it is worth noting that all of the employees have worked there for 10 to 20 years. That speaks volumes about the work place. Which in my opinion carry’s over into the patient experience and care. My mother, age 59 was transferred from Baptist to Select Specialty on a ventilator after having had two strokes. Between the Nurses, Nurses Assistants, Respiratory Therapist and Doctors. She was well looked after 24hrs of the day. Any questions we had were almost always immediately answered or were at some point addressed by the appropriate staff member. Time was always taken to explain medications and/or procedures. The positive reinforcement and smiles came in abundance. I honestly have nothing bad to say about her care and our experience there. Although, if you asked my mother. Her only complaint would be the food. This was easily remedied, by working with the staff to make sure we brought in pre-approved foods from home or local restaurants whenever possible. I would highly recommend the Select Specialty Hospital in Miami. The last thing I would note for anyone who is having to bring a loved one to this or any other hospital. Physically being there for them as much as possible goes a very long way in their recovery. I wish you and your loved ones all the best in the journey that is their own road to recovery.

brandyn richardson This is not a single experience, it’s an ongoing trend. If you are trying to get in contact with anyone over the phone, god speed. Spent the last 3 hours being transferred around to everyone but the individuals I needed. If you press 0 they offer little to no help and everyone else leaves you on hold until you hang up and call again. You have better luck going in person to get anything done. No only that but when you wait two months for a video appointment the individual does not show up, your appointment will get rescheduled without notice to you, and then you only find out that it was rescheduled when the appointment was canceled. David Ruiz Don’t bother going here if you have 100%. Came in for having 250/210 and still in hypertension 2 with 8/10 stomach pain, blurred vision, severe headache, nausea and severe sweating. I went up and asked the staff who was conducting the Vital signs, after waiting for a good while on why I haven’t been seen yet after coming to ER and saw others who came after me get seen before me. They are laughing, ox3 and with none of my above issues other than being in hypertension 1, nor in visible pain. My issue arises with him telling me after I brought up my complaint nicely. “This isn’t a walk in clinic, we serve based on severity and you sir aren’t in the pain nor severity to be seen yet” Amazing patient care!

Jmm “FLXRCISE” If youre living nearby, its a great facility to have at hand. I have to travel 40+ miles each way in mood-altering traffic, and pray for a parking space. My last visit was quick & efficient, even with an unscheduled stop in a different department. Sometimes I will find myself in a crowded waiting room for hours...depends what youre there for, I suppose. Coming from northwest Broward, I have to figure on a whole workday missed for ANY reluctantly accepted appointment here. But the staff are usually friendly and helpful--I would STILL be trying to find the office I needed without their assistance. Nurse, janitor, clerical, surgeon, cafeteria worker--doesnt matter. Someone will have a moment to send me where I need to be.

Cenicienta Cenicienta I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of Mount Sinai Hospital. While hospitals should maintain high hygiene standards, I saw a cockroach in the hallway, which is completely unacceptable for a medical facility. Additionally, the elevator from the parking lot was dirty, making a poor first impression. It’s clear that this hospital needs better maintenance and more attention to cleanliness. A place that people trust with their health should not have these kinds of issues. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the conditions.

Sophia Dominguez I have had about 2 or 3 appointments at this facility and have not been satisfied at all with them. They scheduled an unnecessary appointment for a physical exam even though I had one about 3 weeks prior. My first visit I received 2 shots even though I was supposed to get one. To get records seems like a nightmare since they dont answer their phones and I had been asking for a certain form that had a certain vaccine that I needed the paperwork for and it took them 30 minutes to figure it out even though I told them exactly what I needed. Also the nurse trying to assist was the one who gave me the shot in the first place and kept telling me I did not receive them. They are also telling me Im due for a second dose of a vaccination in 6 months when Im actually due for it now. Not impressed at all with this facility.

I love how kind, and professional both the staff and the Drs are. but most of all I love that they assist you in anything you might need help with as a parent. CRISTINA RODRIGUEZ i love my doctor--- but having office answer phones or return call is impossible. my daughters doctors send plan of cares for approval and documents and they always say they dont receive. their answering system is impossible to get thru. i have done 1 hr wait...there is no direct way to comunicate with the office. answering service gave me a fax number and that number doesnt work, i had to go online to get fax number and i am still waiting to see if they received fax and waiting on the phone line again for them to answer. something must be done with their system.

Crown Logistics I have been with the Medical Center since 2010 when Alfredo Torralbas was the Pediatrician, the service has changed since then and it has not been for the better every day that the service gets worse, I have been waiting for an appointment for exams for more than 4 months and more than a year that my children do not have a test really worried. Danielle Wright I was referred here to the vascular team to address some cysts i had near arteries that prevented me from even being able to drive. My surgery was successful. The entire staff was amazing. I had to stay in the hospital for 2 days. The entire staff was extremely caring and attentive. They constantly have called and checked in on me and been very responsive to all my concerns.

Sandra Marrero My experience at UM hospital at neurology department is the worst. Dr Chileuit and Dr Sebastian Kosh laughing at my husband and I faces telling us to go to neuropsychology, because they found “ nothing”. There is a lack of respect in all that. They didn’t do another test to rule out another condition, not even Neuro conductivity test. I’m struggling with a complex neurological condition, including Dysautonomia, after claiming to patient experience department because those doctors behavior, the Neuro department decided not to accept me there to be seen by another doctor opinion. I continued to looking for help; and now I know that those doctors and neuro department didn’t anything to help and save my live. I hope this will be helpful for those who are desperate and really sick looking for a professional answer and those kind of doctors make them to believe they have neuropsychology issues instead a serious complex neurological issue. UM healthcare system have to reorganize and start to take care about our community and patients coming from other areas. It is a real shame that medicine is at this poor level in this 21 century already…

The doctors appeared indifferent and unwilling to communicate effectively or offer assistance. Additionally, I overheard staff speaking negatively in Spanish, seemingly under the assumption that others would not understand. To make matters worse, only one person was allowed to stay with their loved one, while others were forced to wait outside in the rain. The overall service and treatment at this hospital were unacceptable.

Norma Gazoni I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction with the care I received at the UMHealth Department of Neurosurgery under Dr. Wang. I have never felt so devalued in a medical setting. The treatment was so impersonal and neglectful that I felt like I was just a number, judged by my age and financial situation, and sent home with a potentially serious illness without the slightest respect or empathy. My first appointment with Dr. Wang, six months ago, lasted less than a minute. He left under the pretext of getting a translator, but never returned, leaving instructions about my treatment through someone else. This seems to me to be an unacceptable level of neglect. This Monday, I had a new appointment scheduled for 8:00 AM. However, Dr. Wang did not arrive until after 9:00 AM and spent a mere two minutes with me. He did not even speak to me, talking only to my husband, who is American, ignoring my presence and demonstrating a complete lack of consideration. The nurse who was supposed to help with the translation spoke Spanish, but Dr. Wang would not allow her to translate, insisting on speaking only in English to my husband. Although I understand some English, it is extremely difficult to absorb such critical information when you have 8 pain points, the left side of your body is completely numb, and you are in severe pain. When I asked about insurance coverage for the nerve block procedure he had recommended, he responded coldly, stating that insurance would probably not cover anything and that my case was surgical. When I suggested the possibility of having a procedure every month to relieve the pain, I was completely ignored. His coldness and lack of empathy were shocking. At that moment, I expected some minimal compassion, but he treated me in a cold and robotic manner. I asked for pain medication while I waited, and he refused. In the end, he gave me the number of a pain management center that only had appointments available until February 2025—an absurdly long and inhumane delay for someone in so much pain. On Wednesday, I was fortunately seen by another doctor who showed genuine concern for my case. She carefully reviewed my exams, showing empathy and respect, prescribed medication to relieve my pain, and arranged for me to see an anesthesiologist in December. This humane and caring service was in stark contrast to the contempt with which I was treated by Dr. Wang. Even more outrageous was to discover that, on Dr. Wang’s express orders, all information about my history as a patient had been removed from the records. This act not only demonstrates a total lack of ethics, but also puts my health at risk, since I will now have to start treatment from scratch, without a detailed history of consultations and procedures performed. I hope that urgent measures are taken so that patients like me are not subjected to the same neglect and lack of care.

lynn jacobs SD had an appointment for colonoscopy (do I mention he is very week from receiving aggressive chemotherapy with multiple blood transfusions and other cancer treatments) at the south building at 7:35 (exact time) on October 25. We arrived and turned in the parking deck. At the first entrance ticket station stood a gentleman. I approached slowly and carefully and greeted him and stated SD had an appointment at 7:30. He didn’t return the greeting, instead pointed to the ticket button and replied, “next time you should pull closer so that you can get a ticket.” He continued to only point until I made an effort to open car door in an effort to retrieve a ticket. At that point he asked if I wanted a ticket and proceeded to get ticket for me and handed it to me. I apologized and said it was my first time in the building. He gave no reassurance and simply said in a lower voice, “first time.” My friend has been battling leukemia for over 3 months with daily trips to one of the clinics at Sylvester. He is exhausted. He mentioned to me that every single person from security, support personnel, nurses, doctors, etc have consistently maintained positivity and genuine kindness! Those were his words and I have witnessed the same since I have accompanied him for the last week. This gentleman at the ticket station is the first person not to display this kind of compassion. Surely he knows how sick some of these patients are and some will not have need for a parking ticket much longer. It doesn’t cost anything to smile and try to understand these patients are vulnerable and at the staff’s mercy. Thank you so much. Lynn

Chinyere Gaines This hospital is terrible. My elderly father was transported by ambulance. I asked that I be contacted due to his condition, yet no one ever called. They admitted him and performed a Ct scan.The next day he was informed a MRI will be taken . He was never provided with the CT scan or MRI results by a doctor. I called and the nursing staff told me that’s probably right that none has communicated with him. I then asked is this normal and when will doctor discuss results… the answer was “I don’t know”.He was discharged without seeing a doctor and learned of his diagnosis through discharge paperwork. This has to be the worst hospital that exists. The level of communication is absolutely terrible. They need to shut this place down and transport patients to locations that care.

Bueno Family Im just gonna go ahead and add to these negative reviews. Everyone told me to avoid this place like the plague. Unfortunately it was the only place that was open to see an eye doctor. Which I had been fighting a bacterial infection in my eye for over a month. Please tell me why the number they offer, supposedly links you to the hospital and the Medical Center, depending on the prompt. But no matter what prompt you choose, no one is ever willing to help you on the customer service representative side. All I needed to do was reschedule an appointment. I called the same number two different times, I did the prompts just as I was told. One side is telling me that I am calling North shore Hospital and that I need to call the North Shore Medical Center by using patient access. I call again to use patient access, and someone who doesnt even speak. English is telling me that Im not calling the right number. But they dont even know enough to help redirect me. I am so sorry, and coming from a Latin family, where a lot of my family just speaks Spanish. We do not go out of our way to place our self in a position where we are absolutely useless. I am so upset, on the verge of losing my eye, and this is probably my first most impatient review. I have had to make simply trying to use the call center. What does that tell me about your doctors? What does that tell me about your staff? What does that tell me about the person who is running this medical center? Come on now. Every good business knows that your call center is the front man, why the heck does no one know what the heck theyre doing? Im done. Praying to God theres no cancellation fee because they can shove it so far up their rear quarters. Ive wasted two hours going and chasing my tail with the directions that these people are giving me. And as a matter of fact, heres a picture so that you all can see how many times I had to call and how long I had to wait. That one hour call you see at the very beginning, it just kept bouncing me from one Receptionist to the next to the next to the next to the next to the next.

Lis Pichardo I brought in my husband on 12/18/2024 to the emergency room, he was feeling very terrible. When he went it to sign himself in he started feeling weak and dizzy, they rushed him in and took his vitals, then Dr Andrew Brill approached him and seen his heart rate high and stood there and told the nurses “do exams just to not get in trouble and then discharge him” hours past and my husband was still in the ER, and continued to have fever. He checked on him ONCE and my husband told him that he’s still feeling terrible and needs something stronger. We waited 30 more minutes for more medications and Dr Andrew Brill was STILL sitting in his computer. Then I, his wife, approached him and told the Dr to check on my husband and give him his medication bc he’s still feeling horrible. He told me in my face saying that he’s been evaluating my husband every 5 minutes which it was a total lie and I continued to tell him to do something cause he was feeling really bad and he never got up his seat and check on him until a nurse heard my frustration and helped me out. Later on he only told my husband that he had Influenza A and everything else was good but they had to keep him overnight. Although he missed one more information, when they took my husband to his room, they told him he also has pneumonia, and my husband did not know about it. Dr Andrew Brill shouldn’t be the kind of doctor working in the system because of his service!!!! NEVER AGAIN will my husband be going to this hospital!!!! Overall the nurse that helped my husband did an amazing job.

Tawanna Davis Northshore Medical Hospital. I am very happy with Northshore. I know that this hospital has had a bad reputation in the past but I was born here. Delivered by Nelson Adams. Eduardo was very fast efficient and caring. Claire is an intern and was very polite under Eduardo.Alexandra was very kind, patient and caring. Then I came to ICU my PCT Audrey was OUTSTANDING to me and my family. She made a miserable time very pleasant. PCT did above and beyond she had to do to make me comfortable. Nurse Hattie was very sarcastic impatient and mostly nonverbal. A short husky man dark skinned stated he was a triage nurse and never came back.We need MORE PCT like Audrey to drive Hospitals to success.

All things Christy Is unbelievable the waiting time in this place just to sit and talk with a Dr. Im speechless and angry about spending my whole afternoon here and never got called. I arrived at 11:58 am. My appointment was set for 1:00 pm and left at 3:50 pm without been seen by the doctor. Breast Cancer Center. Awful waiting time. Will find a better place to proceed with my checkups.

Lisa Scott Food here is very good and full of flavor. I am a patient from out of town and I am so impressed. The portions are generous and service is top notch. The nutritionalist have great info about the food they provide and take pride in our feedback. I just had to share my experience and hope this helps. Anthony Handy This is the worst hospital in the history of Miami Florida. The nurses are very rude and inconsiderate of their patients the doctors are no better then the nurses. My experiences with them I’ll never go to Jackson hospital ever again, I’ll rather DIE before I go there again. Jackson hospital need to do a more thoroughly conduction who they hire to represent their company and their brand. As of now I will never attend Jackson Memorial Hospital ever again. Hadiiya Barbel This hospital was the most caring and professional that I’ve ever experienced. The doctors and the staff were always very helpful and smiling and supportive. The nurses were extremely loving which helped me heal even faster from the two emergency surgeries that I had. I highly recommend this hospital as I believe that it changes my life.

charlie elliott I cannot express enough gratitude to Colon and Rectal Surgeon, Dr. Force. Not enough good things can be said about her and her staff. She did my rectom surgery last week. Everything went perfectly. When the post surgery pain was too much for me to bare alone, she and her staff took care of me 100% and got be back to comfort. She is a kind human being as well. Also, very understanding. Her staff are genuine and they all walked the extra mile with me. So, Thanks again, Doc!!! You are the BEST OF THE BEST!!!!

Simona Aquaro In the past few days I had the “pleasure” to visit the Baptist three times. First two times in homestead the other one on Kendal drive. I came in for an emergency! That’s why I went to the ER and not in the waiting room of a doctor. I spent so many hours in the ER without no reasons. Today I’m still at the hospital. Came in at 11 am. They only did one blood test around 12 pm. After that I’ve been just waiting and waiting for one simple medication. It is now 8 pm and nothing. No nurse know anything!!! They all seem that they don’t know shit! I don’t even know what’s their job here. Walking around taking blood pressure I guess! It is ridiculous waiting so long since I came in for an EMERGENCY!!!!! What kind of emergency have you wait a full day?????? What happens if I get worse while waiting???? Who do I sue??? This is just ridiculous!!! Don’t ever come for emergency to the Baptist!

Ed Nolan I am finding little or no service with Baptist Health. I am having a few issues and trying to manage them. When I try to schedule appointments through their system it tells me I need to call. When I call it is a central scheduling person who says I will forward you to the front desk of the provider I am trying to g to reach. Then I sis on hold for ever and no one picks up. A scheduler told me one of the providers would call me back the next day because it was close to closing. That was 3 days ago. If you try to call the primary care office in Marathon they close at 4 and stop answering the phones at 3:30. My level of frustration with BH is beyond belief. Unfortunately there is not a whole lot of choice in the FL Keys. Since most of my records are with them I have been reluctant to make a change. I guess I will try Mt Siani and travel the 2-1/2 hrs to Miami for my future needs.

I am unable to prove I have cancelled verbally because they dont have email other than info. I wrote an email to info but have no idea if they will read it. I want to let them know asap so they dont find excuses to keep this refundable money. I feel screwed. Hope doctor trattler sees this review and sees that the problem is resolved. This is what I need to convey to Dr Trattler Dr Trattler I wish to request a full and complete refund of the $1500 payment for the upgraded lense. i have been trying all day to convey this request to your office. I fear I am taking a commission from your saleperson/ closer and the refund request loses a problem As soon as I paid I asked the closer to explain the instructions and she was dismissive and told me to read it myself. After making a $1500 sale. Please make this quick and easy for us both. I need a written acknowledment of the refund request. real soon to avoid further need to try to get your attention. my guess is you may make more money on the upgrades than on what Medicare pays ,and my request may be distressing . It was a nightmare today trying to communicate with your office. Two different people asked my why i want to cancel the upgrade and request a full and complete refund. No one would agree to acknowledge my request in writing. I see you have a money minting machine and I am nobody. I am like a mouse trying to get through to an elephant. I need to request a total cancellation of all scheduled procedures. Considering this situation is a national issue from the standpoint of the non medicare payments Your industry uses medicare paid anesthesia ,facility ,personnel to derive extra money. should your industry reimburse medicare from the extra payment. Is that potentially a qui tam action? Probably not, but it wouid be easy to ask the question on the internet. I have no interest in litigation nor do i have a claim, but I would not mind giving true information to a lawyer who would try to sic your industry. LOL PS on a lighter note. The most important person in your office. the saleslady/closer who took my credit card payment in advance, has the personality of a fish. ( not a guppy, Maybe a Pantagonian tooth fish)

Xzkyv About a year ago my then 69 year old mother was admitted to the ER for low iron levels. The hospital ran test and diagnosed her with a tumor in her stomach. Doctors and assistants never showed us the images. They went ahead and did a biopsy and determined that it was cancer. First stage cancer was her diagnosis. They pushed for chemo. 4 low strength chemo sessions, so they said. Then proceeded two months later to remove the tumor and realized then and there that the tumor was larger than they anticipated, so they removed 80% of her stomach. This was in February of this year. They sent her to rehab for recovery. Then proceeded to continue the other 4 chemo treatments. A month after her last chemo, she started to feel sick with vomiting, so they admitted her again. This time, they immediately pushed to intubate her before knowing exactly what was wrong. As a family, we all refused, so they ran tests and very abruptly determined to say in front of her that the cancer had spread and we needed to proceed to place her on hospice care. My mother passed on July 15th, more of depression than the cancer. How does a doctor confirm first stage and in less than a year confirm final stage. We are all left in disbelief. At not point did they ever show us proof of her diagnosis or proof of what was done to her. Please keep your loved ones away from this place!!! Something is not right with Baptist. In three years we have lost three loved ones. The other two were sudden deaths. One was a dear friend that went in for a gallbladder removal and passed away a week later in agonizing pain at the hospital. My sons grandfather went in and was hospitalized, to then pass away in days and family was not confirmed of what he passed away from. Baptist has become a third world facility and the so called professionals have no idea of what they are doing. This place needs to be thoroughly investigated.

Maria Bello The worse!!!! This hospital used to be top notch, now it is a nightmare. The ER department works fine. They try to help you even when they are full of patients. At least in the ER you get tests done and fast results. Once you are Admitted and transferred to a floor your nightmare begins. My 82 years old mom was admitted to the critical care unit in the Hope building with flu and pneumonia. The first night it went well, her nurse Jose was very attentive and professional. After that it was chaos. She needed respiratory treatment 3 times a day. I had to be asking the nurse because they had not come to do it. Finally, the internist doctor did the treatment himself. Mind you, this is the Critical Care Unit where patient need to be monitored closely. Only one day that she had Jose as a nurse was she really taken care of. If you don’t have a family member to advocate for you, you don’t receive the medical care you need. Very disappointing, No proper care but the bill is more than a 5 star hotel stay. CEOs only care for profit not for patient satisfaction. Remember, we go there because we need medical assistance.

Erik Carney I can not say enough nice things about the people I interacted with at this hospital. They were patient, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Also, the hospital itself is top notch. I just had a surgery there on Friday and my experience was phenomenal! From the check in through the checkout I was amazed at how wonderful these people are. I am so grateful that I am no longer in pain and if I ever need hospital services again I will be going to Jackson memorial. Thank you all for your kindness and support!!

Selena Golden Still red flagged from receiving treatment here over an incident that happened years ago. Its unfortunate you see, I have some rare chronic conditions and they have doctors there that could help but because Miss Betty doesnt allow me to have a fair hearing or always tells me no based on no evidence and its causing me detrimental harm mentally and especially physically. I wouldnt go here if you have any mental health issues, they will 100% call security and use it against you. (Security said there was no case so theres no reason I should be red flagged still.)

Very lovely and patient and professional. I highly recommend UHealth Hospital for their exceptional Doctors, Surgeons and the nurses treat you with kindness. Linda My mom was sent here from a Dr at Sylvester. Worst days of my life spent here. The treatment of my mom at this hospital was a nightmare. No communication between any of the doctors, the Sylvester Dr did not oversee treatment as would expect, staff repeated unnecessary and painful tests. My mom begged to be discharged rather than spend one more minute at this awful place (but that took over 6 hours from request). Medical staff was egregious and hospital felt dirty.

Yesica Found out I was pregnant around 25 weeks and wanted to schedule my first prenatal visit. Sadly I had to wait more than month but then I get call saying the doctor won’t be available so then why schedule me ?? And that the next appointment won’t be for another 2 months!!! I’ll literally be giving birth less than a month away by then and I still don’t have a doctor even with my insurance!
