5 /5 John Schranz: In my 68 year journey I have formally joined this church three times: in 1970, in 1992 and in 2023. That is thinking one dimensionally because this church, meaning it’s people, have traveled the globe with me. Some members actually left with me when I joined the marines in 1978. Others remained in TLH. Some others followed me back in 1992, including my wife and children as well as people I met as faraway as California and Japan. When I left again in 2007 I discovered again how I remained a part of this church as it remained a part of me. I encountered other “former” members in places like Norway and Virginia and realized how small the world is and how large this congregation is. I’ve returned again because … it is part of my heavenly home and it’s people have become a part of my family and I of their’s. Come and experience that connection for the first time …. Or again. To God be the glory.

4 /5 Ayo Odewumi: First Baptist Church is my home church whenever I am in Tallahassee. The Church is made up of Christ-centered Christians who welcome worshippers old and new with warmth and infectious love. The Bible studies and Sermons are Biblically sound, highly educative and motivating. The Choir is excellent and when in its elements on special occasions like the recent CHRISTMAS CAROL Programme, it is simply spectacular! The main auditorium and adjoining Church facilities are classy architecturally and eloquently radiate Art, Bountifulness and Culture. First Baptist Church Tallahassee is a place of Worship that is excellent and welcoming! A visit will convince you.

4 /5 Jason L. Welty: FBC is a first-rate church and their outreach is wonderful. While not being a member, they offer many programs that me and my family have taken advantage of throughout the years. Their Weekday Education program is exceptional. Ive also been a member of their basketball leagues (summer and winter since 2011), their fitness programs at Downtown Fitness including the Noon Basketball. My children have participated in their VBS programs and the Upward Basketball Camp during the summer. They also provide mini-basketball camps to some of the local elementary schools as part of their mission. FBC is my church away from my church!
