5 /5 Adam Kwiatkowski: Relatively new state park. I didnt expect to see it till I noticed it on Google Maps. Not developed probably because of staff shortages. If you want to see trails markers, one can volunteer time at Florida State Parks and put them up, coordinate with park specialists. Im glad this place was taken in by the state to preserve, otherwise wed see hi rise condominiums instead, and not even allowed on private property.

4 /5 Brian & Nicole Love: Welcome to dog poop trail. - and i am not kidding. My husband and I recently discovered this hiking and biking area. Unfortunately, one thing really stood out—some pet owners dont pick up after their dogs. Just because they are not in their neighborhood doesn’t mean it’s okay to leave dog poop everywhere. It’s gross and ruins the experience for others. The trail itself is dirt but cleared enough for an easy bike ride. There isn’t much tree coverage for shade, but you can step off the trail to find some. There’s a single picnic table near the entrance. Overall, it’s an okay trail—nothing spectacular to see, but it’s peaceful. If you keep walking (and dodging the dog poop), you’ll eventually reach the water.

5 /5 J. Alexander McFarlane: A wonderful place to hike. Never know what you might see in terms of wildlife. Two days ago was a beautiful corn snake taking a sun bath. The day before and most days in the early morning is a stunning yellow crowned night her on and not often enough is the pair of bald eagles that are nesting nearby. This morning I came across this darling baby gopher turtle.
