5 /5 Nancy Quinn: What a wonderful hidden treasure in Palm Bay! Free parking and the first thing you walk up to is a butterfly garden. There is a variety of paths you can take for your walk - a path for those who like to exercise that have various exercise stations throughout; a hiking path that meanders through areas of shade and some sunny spots. My favorite was the boardwalk. This meandering walk features boards engraved in quotes, peoples names, groups and honoring a loved ones memory. For a small donation of $75 to this nonprofit, you can have a board engraved. The path features little side areas where you can view beautiful scenery. Its also a self-guided tour with information on the fauna throughout. Dont miss the walk on the boardwalk near the water! I saw many turtles, fish and to my excitement, two manatees swimming slowly by. Stop by the information center for a bottled water, displays and purchase inexpensive jewelry as a memento of your special day!

5 /5 Ray P: This is a great place to go for a walk and find serenity in nature. The boardwalk is an elevated trek above the hardwood hammock with views of the creek. I thought it was pretty cool that people can get memorial planks installed along it. There is also a trail that takes you right along the creek. I saw a lot of turtles the day I was there. There is another trail that takes you through the sandy pines. The nature center is a bit outdated but is nice with some information available about the sanctuary. The staff were all extremely friendly, even the guys doing minor repairs on the boardwalk. Everyone stopped and said hello or asked if I had any questions. If youre in the area, be sure to check it out

5 /5 Linn Stewart: Really nice place to visit. Great welcome center. Walked the entire boardwalk and saw lots of birds. Along the river we saw manatees. Nice and cool on a hot day. Definitely will go again.

5 /5 Tamara Douek: I love this place. So peaceful and beautiful. Lots of trails, including a biking trail. A boardwalk and people kayaking. Very lovely. You might even see some manatees!
