5 /5 Miranda Votary: Dash Salon is small, but I really like it because its intimate and helped me not feel so lost as I might have in a larger salon. I was welcomed almost immediately upon entering he Salon by a stylist who (while giving another guest a haircut) greeted me when I walked in, asked who I was there to see, then asked me to have a seat in the waiting room and assured me my stylist would be right with me.
I may have sat for one minute when Becca, my stylist, said "hello", introduced herself, and I followed her to the salon chair to drop off my things. Becca shampooed, styled and cut my hair. She made sure to ask what I wanted done to my hair, so I explained and showed her my inspiration photos. She is so friendly and I enjoyed both my hair-cut experience and conversation with her!
At first, I did not like my haircut (because it was a huge change from what I previously had (I got a bob, and I have never had one before). Becca asked if she could style my hair after she had cut it because I had initially wanted to leave with it wet, and I said "Sure! Why not?" So she did a great job styling my hair to look like my favorite inspiration photo, so the hair itself looked great, but I just didnt think I liked it styled that way on me (with my face shape and such). So after I went home, I rinsed it and my hair dried naturally curly and I liked it a lot (to me the curls look better with my face shape). However, Becca is not to be at fault for me not completely liking my haircut at first, because she did a great job with my hair, and I have not had her cut my hair before so she didnt know how my curls would look! Its just my preference that my hair be curly, haha
I would definitely visit both Dash Salon and Becca for a haircut again!
