5 /5 Aaron Tinder: I recently moved to the area, and as someone who enjoys working on my own cars but also knows his limitations, I knew it would be important to find a good shop with the right kind of philosophy. My first experience with them tells me that they appear to be just that: they know both old and new vehicles, they dont talk down to you or try to upsell unnecessary stuff, and theyre friendly and easy to deal with. Its a bonus for me to find a shop I like that is also run by a woman and has a reputation for being friendly to ALL kinds of people. Thats unfortunately not always common in the car world. Give them a try; Im glad I did.

5 /5 Paul Johnson: The office atmosphere couldnt be more inviting. The shape-shifting dog, on my first visit he was a tiny but friendly scrap of a dog then when I picked up my car he was a gigantic but friendly Golden Retriever. The staff assured me it was two different dogs, but Im not convinced; I only saw one dog at a time, so Ill stick with my theory that its one friendly, shape-shifting dog. At any rate, without an appointment, they accepted my 2000 Camry at the very end of the day Monday and had it repaired and ready to go by late Wednesday afternoon. Oil leak fixed, replaced valve cover gasket, new spark plugs, wires and wash, and its purring like a kitten. The Camry had extensive service at Motor Works before (repair exhaust, service A/C, service brakes, front and rear, replaced rear struts, inner and outer tie rods, front and rear sway bar end links, replaced front lower control arms, oil changes) so I was confident they would do good work at a fair price that would stand the test of time. Mine is a 25-year old car that runs and rides great thanks to the expertise of the Motor Works crew.

5 /5 Elana Newkirk: Received a coupon for a free oil change in the mail from Motor Works as a new resident to DeKalb so I was willing to give them a try. Boy was I impressed with this place. Of course I expected there to be recommendations for any other services needed and there definitely was. The very serious things needing repair to my vehicle was fully explained and what it would all cost. I fully appreciate their honesty, professionalism and care to both my vehicle and myself as a customer. Looking forward to Motor Works being my new mechanic shop for my vehicle. Thank you to Shane especially for taking the time to explain everything in an honest, clear and direct way regarding the highly recommended services needed on my vehicle. I most definitely recommend Motor Works for the place to take your vehicle to for any service or repairs needed.

5 /5 Kat Petersen: I would give MotorWorks 10 stars if I could. I was driving long distance alone when I had a tire blow on the interstate. AAA had me towed to MotorWorks, and I’m so glad they did. I drive an A4, so low-profile tires can be hard to get ahold of quickly. They got one ordered and delivered in less than a day. Since the incident occurred close to 5pm (when everything closes), I had to stay in an hotel nearby over night. They put a donut on my car *free of charge* so I could get around town until the new tire arrived the following morning. As a young woman traveling alone, breaking down on I-88 was scary… but these guys couldn’t have been more kind. They made a stressful event painless for me. …There were also very cute dogs greeting guests which was a huge perk. :) Thank you MotorWorks!!

5 /5 Andrew Cameron: Had an amazing experience at Motor Works. They were able to assess the issue with my car, which had been out of service for months, and get me back on the road in just about two weeks time. Their service and support is top notch, and it felt great to actually understand what was going on with my car. Cannot recommend them enough.
