1.Rachelle Brilliant, DO

Address: 101 Jordan Rd Suite 104, Troy, NY 12180

(15) Reviews Rachelle Brilliant, DO:

Anne Distin It was difficult to even give Dr. Brilliant one star. I called on Saturday to request a refill for my husband’s pain medicine and she was on-call. In no uncertain terms she informed me that New York State law did not permit refills of narcotics on weekends!?! After hanging up I called our pharmacy, where the pharmacist said this was not true. Meanwhile, today is Monday and we still have no refill. My husband has severe arthritic pain. I called the office this morning to request the refill as we usually do, and still no med available. I am no fan of Dr. Brilliant and doubt I ever will be. There was absolutely no indication of compassion in her voice and obviously in her pronouncements. If she had at least passed along our request to the practice, am certain it would be available by now. Why is she a ‘physician’?

Sarah Elizabeth Misdiagnosed me with a mood disorder (with a multiple choice test). She gave me medication I did not need that messed with my health and didn’t listen to me. I needed a health form completed for a study abroad program and she deemed me “unfit” to participate based on a diagnosis that wasn’t correct. I ended up suing the program (and winning) for discrimination but this would have never happened if this “doctor” bothered to listen to anything I was saying. I’ve heard from two other of my friends in the area who also got stuck w/ this monster and they have expressed the same sentiments. They both had Lyme disease. DO NOT GO TO HER FOR ANYTHING LYME DISEASE, THYROID ISSUES, PSYCHIATRY , Or anything else actually. There’s always someone who has to graduate in the bottom of their class. Dr. Brilliant? More like Dr. Dumb

Jacqueline Cubano Dr. Brilliant is an excellent doctor. As young as she looks, she is quite experienced and has been practicing for quite some time. When I was working for an agency years back she was the primary care doctor for one of our clients and was so attentive to his special needs that when I moved nearby to her current office location and saw she had openings, it was a no brainer. I know that if I email her with a question or concern, she will get back to me within a few hours. She has been gracious enough to give me advice on if something warrants a visit which is helpful for someone with a busy schedule. Her front desk staff are amazing and will find room for you if you need to see her right away. On a side note, the nurses are compassionate and sweet and the bloodwork technicians there are the best ever. They make giving blood so easy. I was in a serious car accident a couple years ago and Dr. Brilliant coordinated between all of my providers seamlessly. I would go to see a specialist at 9am and sometimes within an hour she would call me and follow-up with me having already written a report and talked to the other provider. She is diligent about following-up and making sure you understand what is going on. I had a mysterious reaction to something outside that needed treatment and she did everything she could to determine what was going on and did so quickly. Without asking, she contacts other providers to make sure they are scheduling my follow-ups in a timely manner. If my pharmacy requests a refill, her office is so quick to respond. I cannot tell you how secure I feel having my health in her hands. I would recommend Dr. Brilliant a thousand times over. She is the best.

Paul DiDonna Doctor Brilliant has always been kind, non-jugdmental, and willing to see me if I am ever in need of a quick appointment. Ive been very satisfied with her, she always goes over new medications with me, concerns we might be having, and much else. Shes a great practitioner and Im glad to be under her care.

Colleen Monington Dr. Brilliant is great and understands mental health concerns. You are in and out of the office relatively quickly and she makes sure to continue to follow up with you. She will also take steps to help you with smaller issues like my low blood pressure and give tips to help. She will sit and talk and won’t rush you out of her office. My only complaint is I can’t get in to see her every time but the office is usually very accommodating and will get back to you right away!

2.Adetutu Adetona MD

Address: 595 5th Ave, Troy, NY 12182

(33) Reviews Adetutu Adetona MD:

Angela Joyce I have been with Dr Adetona for 25 years. When I saw these reviews my jaw dropped. I need to add my 2 cents. I hope it helps. I was with DrAdetona when she moved her office. I was with her when she had some staff issues. I was with her through covid. I was with her when she learned to use her laptop! Dr Adetona was with me when my sister came home from across the country with no insurance and needed a doctor. She was with me through my childs mental health issues. She was with me through my young sons many medical issues. She was with me through my spinal cord surgery 10 years ago and the hardships that came with it to this day. I have gone to urgent care between appts. The only thing I ever saw her get upset about was when they didnt send her results. I cant say that Ive never had to wait sometimes at all of my different dr appts. They apologize, we move on. Since the use of digital equipment (including the laptop), I havent had to wait more than 10-15 minutes though. And that would be several years ago. One person mentioned her parking lot. Seriously? Dr. Adetona has tried to create a warm and welcome environment and is succeeding. Shes constantly adding one thing or another, including some impressive framed articles and awards. She supports her staff. I believe she is also a doctor for a nearby nursing home. In other words, if you want a clinical experience maybe you should see someone else. But you will miss out on a wonderful doctor and knowing a lovely person

Karen Molinares My daughter and I have been seeing Dr. Adetona for 2 years now. Dr. Adetona is an amazing family doctor. I have never had a long wait when I have had appointments. The staff always calls to remind of appointments. The waiting room and office areas are always clean. Dr. Adetona always asks pertinent questions and makes sure to address every medical issue I bring up to her even if it wasnt the purpose of my appointment. I highly recommend seeing her. She has been a great doctor and has helped my daughter and myself a lot!

Aiyana Young Don’t bother going here , worst doctors I’ve ever been to after getting a second degree burn wound on my foot I’ve been going to her to get it checked she says there’s nothing wrong but it seemed to be getting worse overtime even been to the hospital and somehow she’s upset and thinks I don’t want her advice just because I went to a urgent care to get it checked out and to get a littl more advice and insight on what’s going on with it ,Early on today I got a call from the office stating that dr Adetona thinks it’s best for me to find a new primary care doctor and that she feels as if I don’t want her advice which is ridiculous because I never once said that ??! But anyways save your time and avoid this place very unprofessional!!

Ms. Humanity It saddens me that my doctor, A. Adetona, refused to fill my script of which she is the original prescriber; simply because I went to a specialist for another matter her office was incapable of facilitating. In the interim, I’m experiencing symptoms from not having my medication and I will have to go to an urgent care doctor to get my meds. Adetona’s abuse of power and vengeful nature is terrifying and unprofessional to say the least. I will not step foot in that trifling office again.

Unhappy With The Service Initially when I called to set up an appointment, I had described exactly why I wanted an appointment with the one of the nurses on the phone. I waited a whole month to get this appointment only to be denied of a medication because of her own religious and personal beliefs. I made it very clear on the phone why I wanted an appointment. When I asked her if she can prescribe me medication, she said “ I don’t believe in that”. She denied my basic health care rights as a women when putting her personal belief ahead of my needs. I will be seeking a different PCP. How can I trust a doctor to have the best interest of my health when their personal beliefs are conflicted with my basic health care needs?

Crystal Graham Never had any issues with this office, the staff is always friendly, sometimes there is a little extra wait, but with Healthcare in this day and age youll have an extra wait anywhere you go. Dr. Spaulding is very professional and understanding, she takes the time to really listen to her patients.

Casey Pagan Been with them for almost 10 years and Ive been switched from doctor to doctor to nurse practitioners without complaint. Ive rescheduled my previous appointment twice because of my job and they dismissed me from the practice stating Ive had 3 no call no shows which I do not just the 2 reschedules. They want 24 hours notice for reschedules and ive stated a few times to them that I cannot guarantee that if my job makes me stay. They have no sympathy. Me, my husband and 2 children all go here and now I have to find a new primary. I will never recommend this practice again.

Trevor WolfGould I had an appointment here today, my regular primary care provider was unavailable so I had said it was fine to be seen by a provider named Morgan Slusarczyk. I have serious back pain due to a long term injury and she brushed through the appointment in about 5 mins just by writing a referral to an another doctor. I felt like she didn’t care to spend time and ask information about the injury and my symptoms or really go in detail to talk about any medication that might help. This and a previous bad experience with the reception is going to have me switching providers. Jen Wiley is the is the only good doctor there and if you can’t get an appointment with her you’re better off going someplace else. The one time a year I ask for some medicine to help out with extreme pain and I’m treated like some kind of junkie, so unacceptable. 0/10 for this visit which I drove 45 mins to and the provider was 15 mins late.

feist sarah Never had a problem here. They’re always doing their jobs. Sometimes there’s a wait but not any longer than everywhere else. I don’t really understand why there’s so many bad ratings. I’ve been going here for years now. The only issue I ever had was when my primary left the practice and I wasn’t given any notice. People can’t be perfect though, there’s a ton of patients to contact. I honestly don’t feel this practice is bad in any way. And if anyone needed a new primary I’d refer them here

Barbara Youngs I have been a patient of Partners in Family Medicine before they become a Partners In Family. More than 20 years I have been a patient when they were CHP,CDPHP and Kaiser Permante well over 20 + years and I must say the quality of care has de-creased drastically. In all the years never had I been denied or turned away due to time constraints. I understand how time sensitive we are however I think consideration should be consider on both sides the patients as well as Drs. Meaning when a patient checks in sometimes there is a wait. Today I was 15 min late for my apt and was denied to be seen without so much as a nurse triaging me as to what I needed to be seen for. More times then I can count I have arrived for my appointment had waited way more then 15 min at times to be seen, hardly ever are you seen right away. Yet when a patient is late they are denied to be seen without so much as a Nurse to Triage you. I feel as a patient their care should be taken seriously A dr. office never knows who they are turning away and I feel at the very least if you are denied to be seen, the very least, the very least a nurse should triage a patient on why they need to be seen before you turn a patient away. I truly believe this was done in very poor taste and will not be returning to Family in Partners Medicine as today of all days I really need to see my dr. Due to my confusion I admit, I was 15 min late for my appointment however no way should that be a reason not to be seen without so much as being triage. Again you never know the state of the patient you are turning away...

(44) Reviews Family Medical Group:

Ellen Schirmer Ive been a patient for years, no more. This practice is concerned more about $$ than it is the patient. Its almost to the point of being insurance fraud. The final straw can when an oral surgeon reached out for clearance for tooth extraction. I was told I needed to see the Dr. before she would sign. Why?? When did she become a dentist or oral surgeon ? This is not the first time for the unnecessary office visits. To top it off, shes extremely difficult to get an appointment with ---now I understand why. Im a cancer patient, so I see many doctors, its not like I dont have medical care. Her unnecessary office visit is a money grab and Im not supporting that any longer.

Kristen Frank I’ve been going here since I was age 13-15. (I’m 32 now do the math). I just waited on hold for 30 minutes to make an appointment with an “answering service” to find out they’re communicating with the MD office while I sit on hold. The date they offered me didn’t work with my schedule, and they offered me a call back from the office to schedule my follow up. (Mind you, my physical has been rescheduled 2x and canceled 1x BY THEM). I was told I’d get a call back for the last canceled, and I have yet to hear, so I chose to follow up with this outcome. 10/10 do not recommend. There are many other doctor’s offices with better communication out there. (I’m a fresh grad RN who has been making and taking people with disabilities on doctor’s appointments for 9 years, all over the capital district).

Emily Derepentigny Would NOT recommend. I have had multiple appointments cancelled day of without being notified in a timely manner, have to plan on waiting at least 45 minutes in the waiting room and an additional 20 once brought into an exam room. In hopes to avoid this, my husband attempted to schedule a telehealth visit, in which the provider was over 45 minutes late. After an hour, he disconnected. It wasn’t until another hour had passed that they reached out to him. They urge you to utilize the portal, however rarely respond and if they do almost always require you to schedule an in-person appointment. There have been numerous occasions where the providers do not follow up on concerns brought to their attention or send in prescriptions. The receptionists and nurses have been nothing but rude and have extremely poor customer service skills, I have been hung up on at least once. I had scheduled an appointment with the NP due to my primary not having any openings that work for me. They canceled my appointment (the morning of) stating I am unable to see another provider in the office if my primary is in for that day EVEN though I explained the only time she had was not doable for me. I asked to speak with a supervisor for clarification as I have never heard of such a thing. They never reached back out to me. Safe to say, both my husband and I decided that this is the last straw for us. We switched to CommunityCare today.

Thiri H If youre a patient seeking support and convenience, please steer clear of this place. All we needed was one little paper from the doctors note that clears the patient to work without restrictions. However, we were completely disregarded and put through loops. "Well give you a call back," they said, and we were told to wait more than necessary. I was patient, following up after the supposed 2-week timeframe for paperwork. Days passed, and I did my best to follow up, ensuring I followed instructions. However, they werent doing what they were supposed to on their end and blamed us, refusing to take accountability for their actions. "Youre not the only patient" and many other excuses were used to shift blame onto us for their lack of effort. The patient lost a job opportunity because the staff failed to provide the necessary paperwork and do the bare minimum. Its heartbreaking how some people can be so cruel and careless about another persons livelihood. Shame on them.

Antonio Mandurano When I moved to East Greenbush, one of the first things I needed to do was find a primary care to refill my important daily meds. I was able to get set up with Family Medical Group, and they are super close to my home. Its been really convenient, and I like my provider. I saw a lot of bad reviews calling out NP Cook, but in my several visits she has never made me feel like "just a check" or anything of the sort. She moves quickly, but I love that I can get in and out fast. Ive gone to an appointment on my lunch break and only spent 10 minutes in the office! Shes to the point, but doesnt miss relevant details either. She also was able to get me several referrals sent out to a few specialist I needed for continuing my treatment. At my old doctor, it was a battle to get even one referral! I cant speak on the other providers, but Cook is amazing in my book.

Darrell Roeters I was late to my appointment then was walking to the exam room and was canceled now another 2 months to wait. I called the office after ending up behind CVS which they said it was. The only thing I saw was a empty parking lot and a closed learning center. Heard a kinda of advice and office does not know East and west directions.

Cheryl L. Hedges & Judith M. Miller Was called twice by doctors office, the day before my appointment, to confirm that I was coming. I told them yes. I rented a U-Haul to get there. My wife and I drove all the way to Clifton Park, NY from Coxsackie, NY. When we showed up for the appointment we were told the appointment was cancelled due to behavioral concerns. We were told we were called that morning while we were driving to the appointment to tell us the appointment had been cancelled. If this was such a concern why didnt the doctor let us know earlier, within the last year. My wife is a disabled seizure patient who is without medication until she can find another neurologist. I was not allowed to speak with the doctor about this. Office people and nurses in doctors offices should not be able to make this decision.

Liz H Giving one star because you cant give 0. They clearly do not intend to be your life time doc; just want to get you in and out. Highly do not recommend.

Jamie Brown I had to switch practices when my neurologist just up and left his practice. My first visit to the Clifton Park Neurology office was amazing. I was skeptical and sad I had to switch from my old neurologist but now Im thinking it was a blessing in disguise. I saw Ian Sherman NP and he was just an all around great provider. He put my anxiety at ease and was extremely informative. All of the front desk staff was also super friendly and very pleasant to deal with. I am so happy I was referred here and would recommend to anyone looking! So relieved that I found such a great new place to establish care ❤️

Alisa Hollner Switching from this practice its always something first for my 6 week post pardum the whole visit I mainly stressed was birth control why would you have me scheduled with someone who cannot order it because they are catholic ( they said) Also did not do any futher exams so when I did get my appointment for birth control they told me they cant help me that day either due to me not having any exam. Also all of the receptionists that ive came into contact were rude in person also on the phone. My last appointment which I believed was supposed to do a urine pregnancy test which I was rushed out never told my results was probably never done and here I am a month later finding out I was pregnant. I would never recommend this place to anyone I am never going back , you guys need to get it together.

KIRA PHILLIPS The receptionist when I call is ALWAYS rude. She says what she has to say without listening to the patient then hangs up. She’s very disrespectful. It’s not like I call everyday but when I do I should be treated with respect and not brushed off.

S My experience with my pcp there was fine but the rude, impatient, arrogant staff answering phones are the deal killer here. Constantly talk over you, dont listen and no one ever gets back to you. Go to another location.

Mohammad Islam In my life I never see like that urgent care. It’s should be closed. We are wating science 9:30 am to 12:30 pm but we don’t able to see the doctor. My question is what is the meaning of URGENT CARE? . This place should be closed.they call me 12:30 pm to come in . I am waiting in my car front of the urgent care door and I saw the give the service 2/3 people who came after me .

Corie Noel I recently had to go to newton medical for a pre surgery physical. The nurses were great and I absolutely loved the doctor. He joked with me and asked questions. I felt very relaxed in his care. He also caught something on the paper work I didn’t realize and brought it to my attention. Overall I was very pleased.

Larry T Unfortunately we had a very disturbing experience at this facility. Our daughter was having an asthma attack. When no masks were required in medical facilities. The front receptionist refused to check us in and ordered us to wear masks. Oddly enough masks are not required and they did not provide them. I rushed my daughter to the ER. I then went back and bought a case of masks at the CVS next door and gave them to the facility. My experience with the Dr. was extremely unpleasant. Lacks compassion and I can see how the staff have learned their behavior. I thought it was me, then I just read the Google reviews. -5 Stars of that was an option.

Laurie Papero I went to your facility in Latham as my primary dr isn’t workmen’s comp. Certified. The staff was very helpful in my time of dire need of follow up surgery care. From my panicked phone call to the front desk. The nurse that took my vitals and the dr that treated. They were kind, patient and a lifeline when I needed it most. They made a terrible situation at my primary dr a nine issue and I am so grateful they were there and available

Tammy Lee Connery My 79 year old mother fell, could not walk & in tremendous pain was brought by ambulance to this hospital. Over 5 hours weve been here with my mom on a gurney in a hallway in the ER. Please someone tell me what would does it take to be shown decency & allow for my mom to have some dignity, privacy & respect & shown some compassion. Update, for the last hour & half, while my mom lays in the hallway, the room she is next to has been empty. But shes not allowed a room? So in response the "canned response" from the hospital, I called the number & surprised, surprised, I went to voicemail with the recording stating someone would get back to me in 24 hours unless it was a Friday then they would get back to me next week. Again, no consideration, no compassion, no care.

Matthew Morgan I had a very positive experience with surgery here. Every single person I interacted with was helpful, kind, caring, and compassionate. From the front desk, to the staff, nurses, and doctors. Excellent job. The only downside I experienced here was from some other patients talking incessantly and being very loud, but we all cope with stress in different ways.

Tina L My husband was in ICU Dr calls me at 2:08 AM your husband went into full cardiac arrest and stopped breathing we performed CPR for 2 minutes and brought him back without having to shock him. Charge nurse told Dr visiting hours are at 9am Im not allowed to see him until then. Dr calls back at 2:13 am for my permission to put in an Arterial line which will constantly monitor his blood pressure in case he has another heart attack because according to Dr hes very ill and has had numerous "events" since being hospitalized and another "event" could happen at anytime but Im still denied to see him until 9am. At 2:35 am I call and speak with Nursing Supervisor she said hes not on palliative or hospice care and hes not in a grave or dire situation ( really it sure seemed like a grave and dire situation to me) we have strict visitation guidelines you can see him at 9am. I did reach out to your patient experience department Im still waiting for them to call me back. Still waiting so much for a call back within 24 hours. I called at 3 pm on Monday its Friday still waiting for call back what a joke. 8 days later Im still waiting too bad he passed away 2 days ago SO MUCH FOR COMPASSION AND CARING

Bonnie Davila-Klaer My mom just spent 5 days on the 6T and received exceptional care from the staff. The nurses, PCTs, NP, MD, nursing supervisor, nurse manager and the IA were all amazing. The EVS, transportation staff, kitchen staff and lab staff were all so kind and courteous. It was so comforting to know that my mom was in good hands when I could not be there with her. Thank you to everyone on the 6T!

Kevin Mayfield I had a terrible experience at Samaritan hospital, they had me in a room then I was put out of a room and they made me sit in a hallway for almost two hours. Shari Olson Its hurry up and wait, I have never seen patients in the waiting room with an IV in their arm. Or the old man who was just trying to get home and no one paid him any mind. Nurses who should have retired years ago, but still wants to try to put in an IV for the third time. Now the doctors, what doctor may be one maybe two the rest are LPN and NP, you sit around sick and after 8 hours and still no body I left. This place has been going down hill for years, turning it into a Trauma Center like Albany Med didnt help because they cant keep it staffed stay far away

Marty Demarest I had a wonderful experience at the Samaritan Hospital Emergency room last night about 2am. Parking was nearby, and I was greeted by the person at the desk wth a smile. My wait was less than 10 minutes and the LPN who took my vitals was friendly and relayed information to the triage nurse promptly. Paul, the RN, walked me through the initial assessment, got the lab samples needed, made sure I was comfortable. A scan was done promptly and the wait for the lab results was less than an hour. The PA reported the results, explained them, and what followup should be. My total time was less than 2 hours but at least as importantly, each of the people I saw was responsive, friendly and professional. Their attitudes made this high stress experience as good as it could be. Thank you!

Enzo Vergara Hi my name is Enzo, probably the whole emergency room might know me by know since I was just there all day asking for help but I got to Samaritan Hospital at the emergency room in Troy by 10:30am with no line for check in or nobody even waiting, they checked me in right away and probably 5 minutes later I went right into the Physician, so I thought “oh wow perfect this is going to be quick and simple, going to leave here happy and healthy as I should”. Till now: I left the emergency room at 7:00pm and still with the same pain and problem that they didn’t even solve for me. Now I have to go to a clinic tomorrow for they can solve my problem that they called to make an appointment. What a simple day it could’ve been if they just did that earlier when I got there no? But no, they made me stay there all day in terrible disgusting rooms that they even notice to clean or sanatize for my own safety or for anybody else’s , I had to go to someone to let them know how dirty it was and then they noticed how bad it was. The amount of “sorry’s” was not appreciated at all. I’m there for an emergency for a reason but they didn’t care basically, I left unhappy and never ever going there again. Let’s just say don’t go there to waste your whole day! They don’t prioritize anyone unless your dying right in front of them or probably not, who knows. Worst experience ever, never going to an emergency room at Samaritan hospital like this one ever again. I thought emergency rooms was for an emergency that “provides unscheduled outpatient services to patients whose condition requires IMMEDIATE care”. Please don’t ever go here! I wish I gave them 0 stars!

Jennifer Sciuto My husband was admitted due to a crisis state. He kept texting me begging me to save him and come give him comfort and a hug. The security guard repeatedly said he didn’t know what was going on and had me wait hours before I got myself admitted in an attempt to get closer to him. After that I was told by a dismissive, rude and pompous nurse that he was allowed no visitors. When asked why she refused to give me an answer. These hospital workers are subpar and don’t give 2 shits about the human beings that are trusting them with their life. They want them in and out as quickly as possible no matter if they actually provide any medical care. This entire hospital is a joke and I will rejoice the day it gets shut down. It does more harm than good and the community deserves true compassionate care not half asses bullshit because nurses are understaffed. Boo hoo. Get a different job if you’re going to be a jerk.

Tanya Rymanowski Hands down best place. Brought my 7yr old last night and they got us right to a room. He was having trouble breathing with his cough and asthma. Staff starting from check in, to the nurses, the PA and Dr we saw were all amazing! They addressed his needs right away and kept him way after closing to monitor him before letting us go. Thank you!!

Hradsky Michael Got in a car accident two days prior to me going. Went to get x rays and a cat scan. 6 hours go by, and was told it’s the slowest night of the week (not busy) yet I was being completely ignored in terms of care

Kris L Just be aware that you’ll be waiting hours to be seen. Also be very aware that you’ll get a bill from US Acute Care Solutions at ELLIS MEDICINE MEDICAL CENTER OF CLIFTON PARK (which isnt a part of ellis so you can’t get help through Ellis). Acute care is a scam they tell me my bill is past due via text, so I called Ellis Who gave me their number so I called five days last week and they are always in training and unavailable. So long story short don’t go to Ellis take the extra ride to Saratoga or Albany.

Amy L They should be embarassed to be calling themselves a hospital, especially the Urgent Care department. You have URGENT in the name and yet every Urgent Care in the area is closed early due to some unknown reason. Additionally, even when they are open, they are just as inefficient. A family member has been sick for a MONTH and the PCP said they would "call back." The call never arrived and whenever we try to follow up, the PCP is "not in today" or they dont answer at all. The front desk staff never feels any remorse either for the way they treat patients like this. Disgusting.

marwa n I have never in my life seen a staff at a hospital treat a patient SO BAD. Black lady at the front desk is extremely rude and so are the nurses. Takes forever to call a patient in even if there’s something critically wrong with them. The nurse didn’t even fix the bed or bring water when asked to, claiming she was too “busy” and “forgot”. I hope everyone that works there has a long miserable life full of bad luck. I am never going there, should’ve checked the reviews before I decided to go here.

ALAN ALAN I received a call from one of your offices, canceling a hard to get appointment. Was asked to return the call to reschedule. Gave up after 50 unanswered rings and the same result at other phone options. How do you call yourselves healthcare.
