Rose Of Sharon Judy and "Ewa"?? Sorry, idk how to write the second persons name But, they were very nice and welcoming. I had the organic lemon spa pedicure, which came with a 10-minute massage , my legs and feet were nice and soft after that. My manicure came out nice, and so did my brows. We chatted the whole time I was there, and they were very helpful in helping me choose colors . I had no issues and enjoyed the service provided.

Lin Lin Very poor job when it comes to SNS. Won’t last a full week. Not only that but they don’t really clean your nails (they just file it very thin) and your nails comes out super thick. Very poor job never again!

Claudia B BAD QUALITY polish, BAD QUALITY service, and RUDE manager. AVOID! I went in today to Q SPA NAILS (What they go for in person), for the first time and this will be my last.. I asked for a spa pedicure and made sure they had massage chairs before going in because thats what I was going for. I went in and told the lady RIGHT AWAY that her chair was not working (Before service started), they told me it would eventually work so proceeded with service. Chair never worked after I told her twice. Half way through the service, I finally got to speak to the manager who switched me to another chair. New chair turned off after 1 minute. I told the manager that neither of chairs were working and she said she would let the company know then laughed at me ... NEVER AGAIN.

Limra Ilyas I had a terrible experience at Mohwa Nail Salon for a Brazilian wax. I called around 2:30 to schedule for 4:15, arrived at 3:50, and wasn’t taken to a room until almost 5:00. Then, the technician told me she didn’t even do Brazilians and I had to wait for someone else. When the wax finally started, it was a nightmare. The wax kept sticking to my skin instead of the strip, making it way more painful and ineffective. To make things worse, the technician wasn’t wearing gloves, and she kept pulling her mask down and putting the wax stick in her mouth. That was incredibly unprofessional and unhygienic. The whole process was slow and sloppy—she was waxing tiny sections at a time, and I was bleeding in places because the wax wasn’t coming off properly. I asked for the butt strip, and she only did part of it, leaving the actual strip untouched. And to top it all off, she left a chunk of wax on me and just smeared petroleum jelly over it, which was just a weird fix. For a $40 service, this was a complete disappointment. I left feeling sore, sticky, and not fully waxed. I want $40 credit to use on SOMETHING ELSE because I am not getting waxed here again.

Bree Gomer I’m giving this salon 3 stars only because my pedicure was great. My acrylic nails done by Nancy are terrible. Way too thick, bumpy and uneven. I have glue all under my nails and polish beyond my nails. Waste of money and time.

Simple or complex design they always try their best to make it look like the reference photo. If you want nails that make people say “wow I love your nails!” This is the salon for you :)

Niki Cruz I had an excellent experience at Green Hill Nails. Right when you walk into the salon you’re transported to a relaxing and calm setting. The salon is clean, modern, with the latest salon tools. The hospitality is unlike any other salon on the island. I was greeted with a smile and offered a complimentary drink. The iced coffee was great! As for the nails, they’re stunning! Tony did such an amazing job and paid attention to detail. You can tell that the technicians really care about the work they do. I never once felt like I was being rushed out. The designs are out of this world and the price was fair, too. I’m definitely coming back!

Jenn Pass This place is like a second family to me and my mother. We’ve known the owners for over 25 years. And besides them being extremely warm, welcoming, and kind, they also do a great manicure! All of the services they provide meet professional standards. Their clientele have basically raised their children with the owner Lily. Generations of families continue to go to Lee Lee Nails for decades. She is family to many of us who go there. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Thank you all so much. Karina Pruden family is the best way to describe this salon. im EXTREMELY picky with my nails, and the technical performance along with a homey atmosphere makes this a place worth my drive from jersey. they treat my 83 year old grandma like gold and go above and beyond to make her comfortable. she wont go anywhere else and neither will I. and the owner is an angel on earth. thank you ladies for always taking care of me, grandma and my whole family.

Deena A I’m sorry but the workers here genuinely hate their lives. They missed the cuticles completely and they gave us a rainbow of layers with the colors. The nail polish seemed old and they also filed the nails even shorter than they were. I had damaged nails which is why they are so short but she filed them to the nubs. The colors were streaking and dragging yet they continued to layer them on. I will genuinely never go back. The lady that did the white coat especially hated her life because she didn’t even bother filing the nails in the pedicure. She genuinely touched the toe, looked at it, and moved on. I would recommend going somewhere else if you are not doing gel because they obviously don’t care about the regular polish.

layla gallardo I went to remove some tips and get a regular manicure. I was so mad when the nail tech pulled out a METRO CARD to remove the tips !!! SO GHETTO ! i could have done that at home. But never going back after this experience, it literally blew my mind.

Kristina Weiss Do NOT go here! Today was an absolutely horrible experience. When I was getting my gel manicure, the corner of my nails were filed so sharp that it could cut someone, which she did. Then, the base coat was put on so sloppily that it was sticking to the skin on my finger underneath most of my nails. I asked her if she could remove it, but she said that it will wash off in the sink and left globs of base coat under my nails. Then, as I was getting my color, she took off the polish multiple times because she kept messing up. Since she kept redoing them, I ended up being there almost 2 hours. She put 3 layers of base coat on them which I thought was really strange, but I just wanted to get home to my family who’s in from out of town for my shower. I quickly paid and went out to my car. Once I looked at my nails in the parking lot, I was absolutely shocked that this woman would let me walk out of the salon with these nails, knowing it is my bridal shower tomorrow. I went back inside and showed them my nails and immediately 3 technicians started to get very defensive and tell me that if I want a refund, I need to sit another 20 minutes to take off the polish, which I had no time to do. One technician started to get loud with me about how they should be paid for their time, which I agree 100%, which is why I wasn’t asking for my tip back. I ended up with a botched manicure and a free manicure for the future, which I absolutely never intend to use. Now I have to go get my nails done again tomorrow somewhere else.

Irene Perdikologos The prices were reasonable, but the tools were extremely dirty. I gave them a second chance, returning to ask the staff to clean their tools. However, the man I spoke to just laughed and continued without addressing the issue. When I pointed out that all the tools were filthy, he simply ignored me. Definitely not a place I’d recommend or ever go back.

Christina Cullen I’ve been going to Miya Nail Spa for almost three years now, and I’ve never been disappointed! I always get UV gel manicures, and my nails are stronger than ever. The Milk and Honey Pedicure is amazing—it includes a honey scrub, clay therapy, callus remover, and a super relaxing 10-minute massage. My feet always feel so smooth and refreshed afterward! The technicians are fantastic and really take their time to make sure everything is perfect. I always leave happy. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Helene Turk Ive been going here for powders and pedicures and they always do such a great job. Ladies are nice, the place is clean and sanitary, my nails look great and hold up well, and theres a small parking lot in the back. Not much else I can ask for.

Celina 好的 THE GOOD: reward system, walk-ins, convenient area and parking… 坏的 THE BAD: Careless, Lack of education, inappropriate use of E-File: I post pictures of ring of fires (lines on my natural nail bed) after coming multiple times to get a fill in. I have come to learn that this is inappropriate way of using the electric files (E-files). The lines on my natural nails is an example of lack of natural nail care and lack of education.(我天然指甲上的线条是缺乏天然指甲护理和缺乏教育的一个例子) I also noticed they do not care for lifts on acrylic enhancements. They will apply new product on top of lifts which is a health concern as bacteria can breed in the lifts. I post this to spread knowledge so that we can speak up and hopefully improve the quality of care of our nails. Continue education is necessary. I post pictures of educational videos(请观看教育视频). I see them practicing on themselves on their free time, however there’s more effective ways to improve the quality of care of the clients nails. Unfortunately when a business is driven by money caring for the client is not priority and it becomes evident over time. Unless things change, I’m taking a break from this place as my nails take time to heal. (我正在从这个地方休息一下)

Stephanie E I just moved to SI so I was looking for a regular nail spot. After seeing all the reviews, I came in and was overall, not disappointed. So theres that. Pros: clean, nice atmosphere, great massage chairs, parking in back, great gel color selection, overall good work with uv gel set and gel manicure. Ask for Suki for your pedicure! Cons: Ive booked appointments for 12:30pm and 3:00pm on two Saturdays and come early or on time and still had to wait about 20 minutes after arriving to even be seated at a station. The last time two different people did my hands alone. I shouldve remembered the girl that did my nails the first time cause she was amazing. A spot on my thumb was not polished but its not the end of the world. My nails arent filed to my liking (square) but, now I know who not to ask for. This is my second visit, and I do not plan on staying here for Services. I noticed other customers were offered a discount card for $5 off at the fifth visit. I waited to see if I would be offered one but nope, I had to ask after paying. Its not even the $5 its the thought of customer service/engagement.

Previous review 202: Over a week old and still looks very good. Sns dip powder. They are very thorough in caring for the care of the Mail which is more important than just the design as most places only care about.

Cerina Shao Finally got my nails done at Mama’s Nail and Spa after coming across their aesthetically-managed Instagram. Their posts are so nicely curated and the salon is no less. There are a variety of snacks and beverages offered to customers, even a Keurig machine for your use! Nail polishes are nearly arranged and adorned with a variety of gold and marble decor, and some succulents. The most eye-catching part was the glitter filled polish bottles, resembling a giant nail lacquer bottle. I came in unsure if I wanted dip powder or gel. Malsha helped me weigh the pros and cons for the two types of manicures, but I went for the gel. She was patient with me when I couldn’t decide which shade of pink I wanted. She was honest about which color suited my skin tone and which shades clashed. Having really short nails make it really difficult to paint; most times the polish ends up on my skin and as a result, premature lifting. I left the salon with a clean mani and nothing on my cuticles! This is my first time at Mama’s and it definitely won’t be my last. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the ambience is not like the other nail salons where it’s loud and smells like fumes. The interior is so chic, it really felt like a treat getting my nails done here. I definitely will be back to do a pedicure so I can take advantage of their 15% off soft opening promo.

Vibes Unsanitary conditions at this nail salon. Stay far away unless you are looking to get toe nails fungus. The DOHMH needs to pay a visit and investigate! Ive witnessed how employees rush to take the next customer and do not sanitize equipment they just finished using on the previous client! Do not recommend!

Catherine Mendez-Severino Beware if you go within an hour of their closing time. I asked for tips and was told by the employee that she wouldn’t be done until 30 minutes past their closing time so she didn’t want to provide the service. I needed my nails done, therefore I asked what she recommended and she said powder gel. I was treated rushed and ended up getting cut so badly and painfully that my manicure could not even be complete. Bleeding wouldn’t stop. And she burned multiple times with the e-file. I should have left, but I needed a polish change on the toes as well and was attempted to get charged $30 for a gel polish change. A gel pedicure is $40. How does that make sense. When I complained, it was reduced to $25. Ridiculously overpriced and unprofessional. This person clearly has poor skills and no experience. My cuticles hurt so bad for 2 days. Never returning and 100% do not recommend.

Michelle Tam Best nail salon on Staten Island!!! I have recently discovered this newly opened nail spa near my house and this is my fav. Ive been to so many nail salons on the island, Manhattan and even outside of NYC when I used to travel for work a lot. This is such a gem. Clean place, top notch service and what makes it stand out from all the other nail salons is that they are there to provide an "experience" not just trying to provide fast service and onto the next person. Their technicians actually take their time to provide the best service possible and perfect every design you request. Highly recommended.

allison beach I went to Jennifer years ago when I lived in NY.. Since moving to PA I do my nails myself. I was in NY yesterday and decided to find her. I did and she squeezed me in. I got my nails done by her again and she is the only other person I would ever trust with my nails beside myself ( she died great washin too). I explained to her the shape I wanted ( a mix between almond,, square and coffin shape) and she understood and did it the exact way I wanted. Very clean and sterilized everything used. Phenomenal color selection. Friendly priced well. I will definitely be going back all the way from PA.

S R N Never usually leave reviews but I have to for this place. Highly, highly recommend! I love having designs on my nails and Anastasiya never disappoints. I’ve also had Lachi do a set and they lasted 4 weeks with no peeling (see last picture). I’m also a nail biter so after like week 2 I would start peeling if I had my nails done elsewhere but the nails I get here are indestructible.

Aisha Love HARD GEL MANICURE AND PEDICURE I recently visited a nail salon in Staten Island, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. This marks the second time I’ve encountered issues with both my nails and toes, which I find completely unacceptable. It’s unreasonable to evaluate the durability or quality of nail applications within just seven days. I’ve invested a significant amount of money into this business, and I initially refrained from voicing my concerns, hoping for an improvement with a different technician. Regrettably, the outcome was the same. To be told there’s no responsibility for my nails breaking completely at the root for the second time, including my pedicure, is a serious problem. It’s important to note that the true durability of nails can only be determined after they’ve been subjected to normal wear and tear over time. Assessing their strength or the quality of the application within just a week doesn’t provide an accurate picture of their long-term resilience. Additionally, the business recommends hard gel and IG nails, yet the same issue occurred with both types. This suggests that the problem may not be specific to the type of product used but could be related to the application process or aftercare instructions provided Ps I would provide photos of my toes but they look horrendous. THE RESPONSE TO BUSINESS OWNER COMMENT: Despite following your recommendations for Instagram nails and hard gel, which you assured me would provide durability for at least four weeks, I have now experienced significant issues on two separate occasions. The assurance of “triple protection” and hardening of the nails leading to a minimum four-week durability was a key factor in my decision to proceed with these services. However, the reality has been far from satisfactory, with my nails failing to meet the promised standards. This recurring problem has not only been inconvenient but has also hindered the growth and health of my natural nails, requiring me to repeatedly start over. The quality of service provided does not align with the expectations set by your salon, and I find this situation unacceptable. christina griffo I’ve given Get Nailed multiple chances for years but unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing. During a visit a few weeks ago despite having an appointment, I waited 40 minutes before being seen, with no effort made to acknowledge or improve the delay. Additionally, when I wanted to tip my nail tech $10 using my gift card, the owners wife pressured me to tip more, expressing frustration that I didn’t use the full balance of my card—despite only receiving a regular acrylic manicure. When I returned for another visit, the owners wife was noticeably hostile toward me because of the previous gift card situation. When I asked her to repeat the price at checkout because I hadn’t heard her, she shoved the receipt in my face and said, “$35.” Then, when I handed her the payment, she snatched the money out of my hand. On top of the poor customer service, my most recent visit left me disappointed with the quality of my nails. I asked for a combination of Bubble Bath and Funny Bunny, but my nails came out noticeably streaky. For a salon that charges premium prices, I expected better attention to detail. These experiences made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Respect and professionalism go a long way in any business, and unfortunately, I did not receive that here.

The owners are very friendly and nice. They also have a membership card with points that you can trade in for free manicures and services! I recommend trying them out next time you need a manicure. s This has been my sister in laws & my spot since the summer now. Every time we go together they always recognize us and make us feel so welcomed. They are all very sweet and super attentive. They take their time and never rush, give you a nice long massage in between of doing your nails, & i like how they know how to keep a steady flow of people going. They never double book or overbook and make you wait. They are covid-19 safe by keeping distance and have the invisible guard up on every station. They are always wearing masks as well. Super professional at a very reasonable price. They also have this rewards card that racks up points for a future massage. We are life long customers and can’t wait for our next appointment!

Curlene Wanted to get my nails refilled and my feet done. After researching found this place which is very close to my home and I was so pleased. They are super nice and clean and they have great pricing. My pedicure was amazing the lady took her time and gave a great massage as well. My favorite part was that after my acrylics were done the gentleman gave me a shoulder massage for a couple of minutes. I definitely look forward to coming back here I even took a card to start building points.

I also absolutely love the designs they do. Very creative, she did 3 hearts (for my husband and 2 kids) on a blue nails which was the color of our wedding.

She has a huge selection of colors, as well as gems/charms/etc. The salon is so cute, is so welcoming and accomodating, and most importantly CLEAN. Kayla V I’ve been going to Christina for a few years and I’ve never been disappointed. She is an incredibly talented artist and approaches every set as tiny little canvases. I always feel welcomed and embraced, even when I give her complicated difficult tasks. She’s always honest with me and transparent about pricing and what will fit in my budget. Her studio is so beautifully decorated, clean and sanitary with great vibes, drinks and snackies. Additionally she has Michelle who does pedicures and manicures and is equally very talented and sweet. Christina and Michelle are professional, talented and warm people to spend your self care time with. My only advice is to pre-book because naturally their books both fill up quick

Danielle Asencio I’ve been going to Christina for 3 years to get my nails done and I will never go anywhere else! She’s the definition of an artist with a tiny paint brush. So creative and talented. As a nail art girly, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She also has such a wide range of colors and her studio is clean. She makes you feel comfortable and it’s always a relaxing experience. I also go to Michelle for my pedicures and she’s also amazing!! My nails always last and are thriving thanks to these ladies.

She always makes sure I am comfortable throughout the entire process, and the results lasted for weeks without chipping. There is no difficult set for her, she never disappoints. She is also very fair with her prices and will adjust to your budget. There’s also Michelle who does pedicures and every time I sit in her chair I feel so relaxed and she does an excellent job at pedicures. I recommend going to Christina and Michelle for your nails and pedicure 1000%.

Elizabeth Belford I can’t say enough amazing things about Tina! She is incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and always makes sure I leave her studio looking and feeling beautiful. Her creativity is unmatched, and she truly takes the time to make sure every set is perfect. Not only is she amazing at what she does, but she’s also super sweet and makes every appointment such a relaxing and fun experience. Michelle is just as awesome! Michelle is so talented and creates intricate designs that have me staring at my nails every chance I get. She also gives the best pedicure Ive ever had. The studio is clean, beautifully decorated and private in relation to the other studios in Sola. Be sure to book in advance because both Tina and Michelle are highly sought after and their schedules fill up quick. If you’re looking for nail techs who go above and beyond, Tina and Michelle are your girls. :) I cannot recommend them enough.

At Blooming Nails Spa (Joey is the BEST) they are fast, professional, talented and professional, so I will return to where I am treated kindly and with respect.

Tatyana Mudraya Since my tech moved to another place, I was struggling to find the new one on the island. The salon was recommended in a local group on FB. I tried it today. The space is sparkling. Warm atmosphere and friendly people. As soon as you open the door, you feel like you belong to this space. The owner, Celeste, is calm and attentive. Elizabeth, cheerful and very kind. Roza, the young lady who did my pedicure, performed a wonderful job. The legs and feet massage was so deep and long. For 20 years it was the best one. Great job, girl! Will return and would definitely recommend this cozy place to everyone.

Jalissa Rufino I decided to give this place a try as I pass it everyday on my way home from work and I am so glad I did! The young lady who did my nails was super sweet, patient and professional. She did an exceptional job on my pedicure and my nails came out perfect just in time for my vacation. I’m very particular about my nails & she did them exactly how I always like them. She took her time with my both my manicure and pedicure which I loved. I hate rushed service. The salon was very clean and well kept. I will definitely be returning!

Taiesha Almestica Went there with my daughter to get tips for her graduation. 3 workers one was doing a pedicure and the other two sitting around. Was told they dont have time to do tips. ITS 3P.M ON A WEDNESDAY. Never had that happen before. Any salon would be happy to get new customers. Never again....

Matthew Knott My daughter had such a great experience here getting her nails done for the first time earlier today. The woman who took care of her was kind, patient, and very professional. She helped my daughter pick out a color and explored options with her. She also took her time doing her nails and we really loved how they came out. Very clean salon and soothing atmosphere with relaxing music playing throughout our visit. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning!

Angela Przybysz Chop Shop! Horrible, dirty, and nasty staff. They dont know how to do nails. Unsanitary and dirty the equipment such as the filing board was used on every single client and was not sanitized in between uses as well as the clippers. Wore same pair of gloves on each client and cut me making me bleed. They removed tips using a dirty METROCARD while I told her to STOP. This place needs to be shut by the department of health. All the workers especially the Spanish girl had such an attitude when doing my nails. She was grabbing my hand aggressively and huffing and puffing painting my nails. She was rude talking on the phone the whole service. I wanted a refund for the chop shop job and the Chinese front desk lady was talking so much bad things acting like I did not understand Mandarin. Not for nothing if your paying for a service it should be done right the first time. After telling them I was not happy with the service I had to argue to get my money back.

olivia logolo I went there to get gel and the nails fell off a week later. 65 for gel 10 dollar tip. They alllwer me to come back and get.a fresh set. I gave another tip of $15 because she did redo the whole Set five days later, my nails are falling off again.

Fern Atriz Have come here on and off for years but today concludes the last time. Two weeks prior, I was rushed and they cut my cuticles until I bled on 3 fingers. I didn’t say anything and no one offered a discount. I figured it was a one off and booked with someone different this time. Once again I was rushed and I don’t know what she did to my pinky but it hurts and is bleeding. Upon checking out, I asked if a discount was possible due to the circumstances. Never says anything to me other than my sister not tipping and charges me accordingly - $153.60. I do the math - two pedicures $29, UV gel wrap $64, $5 for powder removal, $10 for cat eye design - totaling to $137. To make matters worst, I see now that they’re open until 8 and we were rushed out by 7:30.

Kary Peng First，the service is very good! All the staffs are friendly. Lives around here, came before want to get my nails done, but they said full in that time. This time I make an appointment first. There are actually a lot of staffs but they are all in the back. The lady who did my nails painted two time on each nail, but the thumb on the left hand didnt do well. When I repainted it, she only did it once. My nails were fading within one week. Other nails spa does better than here

Thais Bastos amazing. Maggie did my nails and this picture is of my nails at over 3 weeks! Wish i had a picture of when i first got them done. i waited until i needed a fill to write this review to see how well they held up and they were great! i’m a flight attendant so i spend a lot of time working with my hands and being in the elements (saltwater, sand, swimming, hiking, opening an endless amount of soda cans), and my nails will usually chip or break. i recently moved from NJ and it was very hard to find a new good nail salon. I always look for a place where they do a good job and the customer service is good too. Maggie took the time and showed me all her colors and helped me decide on which mood color i wanted when i couldn’t make a decision, worked with me to get the perfect shape and length and kept asking me if i was okay during the entire time. on top of that i was offered something to drink. Got so many compliments on my nails. i met the owner and loved how she introduced herself to me and more importantly how she interacted with her employees. i’m faithful once i find a place, i’m glad i stumbled upon this little gem.

Gabriele DeLeon Great experience! Walked in a little before my appointment was taken right away and my feet were done and my nails were done. Great service, great employees and done in a timely manner. The only thing I wish they had were massage chairs for the pedicures, but everything else was awesome.
