Kyle Parsons With the way the work force is these days Id say this facility is probably the best in the area right now! Thanks to all the staff for doing your best to keep my dad comfortable and take care of his needs while in your care and for the PT staff for getting him moving again so he could come home!

Sharon DAgostino I’ve been fortunate to have the support from so many staff members during my mother’s rehabilitation. The professionalism, dedication and punctuality I’ve received from Elenya has been second to none. She has been extremely helpful as I’ve navigated physician appointments, scheduling, transportation and so much more for my mom’s care.
My mother was not expected to walk after an automobile accident, her physical therapist Christian took her from cast and braces to walking, something we never thought possible.
The care from her CNA’s Claire and Stacy have been with her every step of the way as she continues to heal. Their care is above and beyond.
This has been and continues to be a long process made so much more tolerable because of these staff members, nurses and many others.

Cheyenne Bishop Do you hate your elderly relative?
Do you love neglectful, inattentive, rude staff?
Do you love waiting for even the most basic things?
Then this place is the place for you! Send them here! /s
To be serious, my grandfather stayed here for five days for rehab, not even a week following a surgery, a fall, and various medical issues that made him need round the clock intensive care to do simple things like use the bathroom and shower.
The staff from the very beginning were extremely neglectful. They made him wait hours for water and basic attention, including help to go to the bathroom. They were rude to my grandmother, telling her multiple times that they would “ask” the nurse to do their jobs, as well as sometimes even respond that “it wasn’t their jobs!”
He ended up waiting an absurd amount of time for a cup of water, to which my grandmother just went and did it herself, including helping him to the bathroom. He didn’t have a television remote, nothing to do, etc and was being completely ignored. But wait, it gets much worse.
My grandfather has a ostomy bag, and in an extreme case of elder abuse, they let it just leak all over him and his bedsheets. This wasn’t a one off accident that was cleaned up in ten minutes. They knowingly let this elderly man lay in his own feces for HOURS to the point he has a rash from it. They didn’t even clean him up, my grandmother wiped him off, and that was the last straw, they decided to take him out of there and were THREATENED by staff.
Yes, THREATENED. They were told the police would be called, (social services as well for the abuse of an elder LOL), they would have to sign things, even though my grandfather wasn’t forced to be there. My dad helped my grandmother and they refused to sign anything, as well as be told they would have to pay for the remainder of the 21 days he was supposed to be there.
Long story short, the level of care in this facility is abysmal, and the staff are either severely undertrained and understaffed or downright cruel and negligent. Or a mix of both.
Send your relative literally anywhere but this place. 0/5. Center, your job is to care for people who can’t care for themselves, you should be ashamed and utterly embarrassed for how you treat disabled elderly people and their families.
And if understaffing is a problem, then hire more people and pay them fairly.
Terrible place, terrible experience for my grandparents.

Katie Weaver Putting a loved one in a home is not an easy decision but sometimes you dont have a choice. You have to for their safety and wellbeing. Ma has lived at the Glens Falls Center for almost a year now and her caretakers have become family.
Ma was hospitalized for a couple of weeks and when she was ready to be discharged, the hospital told us there wasnt a bed available at the GF Center. We were devastated. People with Alzheimers/dementia dont do well with change and being in the hospital was already a traumatizing experience for Ma. We didnt know what to do. So I called Erica, the most compassionate and caring nurse I have ever met. Erica, along with her team, including the truly amazing admissions clerk Elenya, immediately knew what to do. Within an hour, they moved mountains and aligned all the stars to make sure Ma could go back to what was familiar and comfortable. They went above and beyond and we are so grateful.
