Dionysius Ayala Dr. Das and his team are truly exceptional! He is not only a highly skilled and knowledgeable surgeon but also a kind and compassionate doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. His assistant is equally amazing, always providing great support and care. When it comes to my spine, I trust no one else
Dr. Das is simply the best!

Jody Dove From the front door, throughout the halls, and all the staff are wonderful. Dr. Das performed 2 big spinal surgeries- cervical and lumbar discectomies and fusions- within 4 months of each other. I think Dr Das is an excellent neurosurgeon and a nice man. He embodies expertise and kindness. I have been singing his praises as I recover. I cannot say enough good about Dr Das and the culture around him at White Plains Hospital.
5 /5
Cheryl Saddler I referred my elderly father to Dr. Das, and after his visit he called me to tell me how wonderful the office and Dr. Das was in taking care of him. He said Mai, the Office Supervisor came and checked on him to make sure everything went smoothly and Dr. Das was so knowledgeable and kind when dealing with him. The entire office staff in my experience has been great and I didn’t hesitate to have them take care of my dad because I knew they would do a great job; as they did with me!

Kim Trombetta He’s an amazing, intelligent and well spoken educated doctor ! I highly recommend him.
Dr Das hears you out and immediately gives an answer on his recommendation. Makes you feel very confident in his judgement!

Michelle Arnove I was so fortunate to have found Dr. Das. His compassion and regard for a patient in desperate need to be seen and helped is commendable. He communicated a plan of action that gave me the confidence I was in good hands to heal.

Darlene Gaska Dr Khoury is great. I never thought I would find a doctor like Dr Damico but I did. Kind, caring and funny. There are not to many out there like him.

Shenelle McRae Dr Khoury is one of a kind. He is very welcoming and you are automatically going to feel safe in his hands. I got transferred to him at 14 weeks into my pregnancy and it has been wonderful. He is very attentive and humorous! Oh yea , the humor ….we cannot forget that part. That’s what makes him who he is lol. He is very great at what he does and I would recommend him to anyone. To his staff : Nurses, Medical Assistants and Receptionists, you are all great. They are responsive and helpful whenever they are called upon .
Thank You all for giving me comfort in what I classified as my scariest pregnancy thus far.

Danielle Manich Kind and patient always takes time to answer questions and make you feel comfortable. My favorite doctor.

Brittany L We cannot say enough about Dr. Khoury- he delivered both of our happy and healthy babies. He was recommended to us by a family member when we lived in the area, and we continue to see him even though we have since moved 40 minutes away. I have a relatively complicated medical history, and there were lots of things to consider in the birth plan for our children. Dr. Khoury made sure that I saw all of the necessary specialties and everyone was on the same page well in advance of the surgeries. We had a plan that we were in charge of and comfortable with. At every visit, Dr. Khoury provided personal attention and kept things as light as we needed, but he was always available to answer any question. He still is, even 10 months after the birth of our son. We always felt important and cared for. Dr. Khoury is truly the consummate professional, but also a person who just truly cares about other people. He absolutely has the necessary depth and breadth of knowledge with regard to his specialty, but he also genuinely cares for his patients. I am a person who worries about everything, and I know now only to worry if he tells me to. Thankfully, I didn’t have to because he had everything under control! The office staff exhibits the same caring and concern as the doctor, and I do want to say from the ground up everyone on the team at White Plains Hospital Labor, delivery, and maternity from the food service team to the nurses and doctors were wonderful and we would recommend them to anyone having a baby. Thank you for everything, Dr. Khoury and team.

Nicole Breeden-Longmore Pregnant with my second child and I could not be more happy to have Dr Khoury alongside this journey! He makes every visit so light and fun, and ALWAYS takes the time to address my concerns, especially with having some anxiety around my upcoming c section. The entire experience thus far has been so comforting, and amazing. It’s hard to find a doctor that you feel really cares. I second, third and 100th everyone in saying BEST DOCTOR EVER.

Christine scheurich-werkhoven Wow, what a change of pace! It is seeming more and more like white plains hospital is the place to go! What a pleasant experience I had today. I sat in the room waiting to see the Dr. and spent the time reading some reviews of his work , demeanor, style and shoes! All positive.
Dr Casden has it. You know? The vibe, the energy, the "thing" that puts you at ease. Ive been hemming and hawing for over a year, putting off surgery , looking for a doctor, but I know Ive found my surgeon, now. Thanks to everyone there who made it such a great experience. More info after surgery... ;)

Jon Spellman I went to see Dr Casden to get a second opinion due to the severe pain in my neck and back. The pain was running down my back and into my fingers which had some numbness. It turns out I had a herniated disc as it was sitting on my nerve.
Dr Casden presented me with options and explained the pros and cons of each option. I choose to have the discectomy surgery as the pain was not getting better after a few weeks.
Dr Casden and his entire staff were so professional and caring throughout the entire process. The surgery was successful and Im SO much better now. Its truly amazing how terrible I was and how I am today.
Special shout out to Tom the physicians assistant, Shreida the surgery coordinator and Bridget at the front desk for her help scheduling the appointments.
Thanks again to Dr Casden and his entire staff for helping me get through this very challenging time in my life.

Ethan Cowf I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Casden and his entire team! From the moment I walked into his office, I felt cared for and confident that I was in the best hands. Dr. Casden took the time to thoroughly explain my diagnosis, the treatment options, and what to expect before, during and after surgery. His compassion and expertise were evident at every step.
The entire team, from the nurses to the office staff, was professional, friendly, and supportive throughout the entire process. If you’re looking for a skilled, caring and trustworthy spinal surgeon, look no further than Dr. Casden.

Robin Singh Doctor Andrew Casden was very clear and efficient. He made me feel comfortable with the procedure, the staff was very friendly and supportive with any needs or questions I had. I would definitely recommend DR. Andrew Casden for Cervical Surgery because I thought I was not going to recover from this. ( I made a 100% recovery with no side effects or medications required)

Phillip Hoffman My wife Esther had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Andrew Casden and his incredible team! From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, I was blown away by their professionalism, compassion, and expertise.
Dr. CASDEN is not only an exceptional surgeon, but also a kind and caring individual who takes the time to listen and address any concerns. His team is equally impressive, especially Tom, Budget and Doty....
providing top-notch care and support throughout the entire process.
My surgery was a success, and Im grateful for the excellent care I received. I highly recommend him and his team to anyone seeking medical attention.

I highly recommend Dr Schwartz

Ken Bambace Dr. Michael Schwartz has done surgery on my son two times and it was extremely successful. I saw Dr. Schwartz today for a problem with my knees. He is an incredibly intelligent and experienced orthopedic surgeon. Although he looks like he could be 25 years old, his knowledge of medicine is vast.
One of the most important things I like about Dr. Schwartz is his integrative approach. He was just as interested in my own assessment of my pain and possible issue as he was my pain in my knees. Some doctors would have completely disregarded or not listened to observations I had of myself, but Dr. Schwartz took that as extra information and he Thanked me for it.
He’s the kind of doctor that makes you feel comfortable and heard. There is a long wait to get on his calendar and finally into his exam room but it’s worth the wait! He comes highly recommended.

Denise DeLuca Dr. Schwartz was very friendly, kind, and personable. He explained the injuries and what will need to be done during my upcoming surgery, leaving me with no questions and completely at ease. His team were equally as kind and friendly.

Wanda Lucena Ive seen a number of doctors and physical therapists during the past 8 months and they all seem to agree with each other as to the diagnosis of my problems. I wanted a more precise diagnosis and an update of the effectiveness of my therapy and was referred to Dr. Schwartz. He agreed with the diagnosis and explained more of the possible causes and solutions to remedy it and, so, referred me to two more specialists for my peculiar problem. He had much patience with my many questions and appropriately helped moderate my concerns about the future. His expertise and thoroughness and his ability to communicate so effectively has eased my fears about whether I can beat this ailment so I am so pleased to suggest to others that they also seek him out.

Katherine Fraioli Dr. Schwartz is the best..!! He’s done both of my shoulders ( SLAP tears) I’m 6 weeks post op and barely have any pain. I’m back to cooking, running and playing with my kids. He takes the time to explain all the options to you. He has the best bedside manner and just overall amazing. He has given me back my quality of life without being in pain. His staff is also hands down the best out there. As much as I miss Tom, Corey his PA is just as good. Schwartz’s surgical coordinator ( Caroline) goes beyond to make you feel comfortable and at ease. I couldn’t recommend him any

Stacey Oestreich Former medical is the most incredible resource for women in their mid-life. Meeting with Gina Capelli and her team changed my life. From the moment I explained my challenges I was met the most caring and attentive providers. Who understood how to diagnose and prescribe the right course of action. Within weeks I started to feel more energy, clearer thinking and started to drop weight. The doctors, nurses and staff helped me understand I was not alone in this experience. They are truly the A team.

Emanuel Shaddaie Unethical practice! Do not book!
They advised my pregnant wife to receive live vaccines. We had no clue this was harmful until thankfully by God, her OB/Gyn and pharmacist told her to turn around and not receive!

Angela Ciminello Forme is truly an essential resource for our community. I found them during the COVID-19 pandemic, they were absolutely vital in providing reliable testing when we needed it most. Beyond that, they continue to serve as a dependable provider for urgent care needs, staffed by wonderful, skilled, and compassionate individuals.
I personally had a distressing experience with slight hair loss, and Forme was incredibly helpful in addressing my concerns. Their top-notch care and incredible kindness not only resolved my issue but also made me feel supported every step of the way. I’m so thankful for their dedication to their patients and for the invaluable role they play in keeping our community healthy and cared for. Highly recommend!

Mark Linde My mother has been a patient at WPH on three occasions over the past few years for the same recurring leg wound, swelling and infection. She was competently and successfully treated the first two times after 1 week and 10 day stays respectively. The recent visit, however, was terrible. Though the staff was friendly, there was no concerted effort to treat my mothers issue. Sure, they pumped her with antibiotics and put some ointments on but there was no other treatment protocol. After two days with no improvement, we had to ask why her leg wasnt elevated or wrapped..."Thats a good idea" was their response. The morning after wrapping the leg well and elevating we saw the first sign of improvement...swelling down and some redness fading. The next night, however, the nurse doing the wrapping did an awful job and even cut the tape with her teeth! It, of course came right off during sleep and provided no benefit. After another day of minimal care and little improvement, my mother called to tell me they were sending her home! I spoke to the doctor and expressed my concern about sending her home when her leg was still grossly swollen and red but was assured that the oral antibiotics taken at home would help. "If it was my mother, I would be comfortable sending her home" he said. This 88 year old woman has been home for 4 days now with the leg as red and swollen as it was the day she entered the hospital. Now, I will have to figure out the next step in trying to get proper treatment.

Christine A. The Labor and Delivery department has really shifted since the last time I was there in 2019. The entire staff is impeccable. They truly care about their patients. Each nurse genuinely cares about your well being, from Amanda, Jayanna, to Thien, to Sinead. I had complications during my labor and delivery and I couldnt have been with better doctors. Dr. Smith and Dr. Robinson explained everything so thoroughly so I could weigh my options and Im so grateful for them. Even housekeeping and food service staff were all so kind. I would definitely recommend White Plains Hospital.

Russel All of my 3 birth experiences at WPH were nothing short of amazing ! Even with my last as an emergent c section, my care team was still very professional , efficient and most of all compassionate! Look no further if you’re looking for excellent care in a warm inviting environment. Facility is also very clean.

Tania Abousaid Absolutely horrible care. ER almost missed my diagnosis if it wasn’t for me advocating for imaging and labs. Ended up needing ICU care. The ICU providers and nurses provide the worst care of any hospital I have ever encountered. My oxygen level dropped and the nurses were unphased until I asked for oxygen. They did not take my complains or my condition seriously. They left me in a chair across from my IV pole so I was unable to move my arms and reach my tray or belongings. They also didn’t give me my call bell. The nurses did not have compassion whatsoever. My temperature was only taken when I asked for it to be which should be standard. My requests to speak with a provider were disregarded. I would never come here again and strongly advise anyone who wants competent and empathetic providers to seek care elsewhere.

I had a lot of pain in the night and few vomits; in the morning my wife drove me to White Plains hospital which was our best choice and I was operated by Dr Harris in the evening. This was my first/major surgery and I am thankful to higher forces to have Dr Harris perform and Dr Harris for his immaculate care and dedication to his patients. The surgery was successful and cant believe this was an year ago. With the Covid pandemic I am glad this happened last year although I do understand that the White Plains hospital is set up to handle surgeries during these times as well. Thank you Dr Harris.

Sabrina Byrd I went in on Wednesday 3/17/2021 with major pain on my Right side from what the Emergency room told me was a disc bulge in my neck (c5 c6) and there for was causing me so much discomfort, numbing and tingling and stiffness in my right arm which was driving me insane. For the first time ever I even experienced a Panic attack. I can literally feel that my body was fighting against me. I Found Dr.Gertner threw an ad on Facebook. I read on all the reviews that some of his patients were giving and everyone had such amazing things to say. So I decided to take my chances. Hands down the best thing I could have done. From the first treatment I immediately felt alittle relief from what I was going threw. 3 days later and I feel myself getting better, I had another scan done today of my nerves and it was sooo much of a difference from when I went in 3 days ago. All my nerves that were in severe conditions 3 days ago were all normal today, with that I feel it in my body how I am feeling. nothing short of amazing. I definitely definitely recommend Dr.Gertner his staff is well educated in the nervous system and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Makes you feel right at home.

It was immediately evident that she is highly skilled in colorectal surgery. She was very patient answering all our questions. She is so confident we immediately trusted her to help our 91 year old mother. The surgery was a complete success. The surgery was laparoscopic with minimal scaring and minimal pain. Alex Heiss While Dr Yi is a very talented surgeon, her bedside manner needs work. My mom left her office in tears today, as Dr Yi was extremely unprofessional in talking with my mom about cancer - Dr Yi is NOT and oncologist or pain psychiatrist and should not be attempting to act as one. I will be filing a formal complaint. Proceed with caution if seeing this doctor.

He went above and beyond during after Hours after having unsatisfactory Help at the 2 other Valet stations I stopped at before him . Not only was he very helpful and knowledgeable He gave me Solutions to my Problems and went Beyond that and Helped me more than I could have asked for and such a good Human. To management he deserves a raise he is the type of staff u want to represent your hospital he even refused to take a tip. Ty Darnell you have no idea how a small gesture can mean a lot to others.

June Garrett Staff in cancer center is lovely. Unfortunately, WPH has the audacity to make commercials highlighting the importance of early detection of pancreatic cancer. They spend more on commercials than actual clinical care or cancer detection. My mother in law’s pancreatic cancer diagnosis was delayed by 8 months because of WPH. They noticed an issue in Dec, cancelled her imaging appt in Jan and Feb, did not mention any urgency and did not follow up until July. It was too late then and their poor care and attention to detail has complicated her case unnecessarily. We will absolutely be seeking every avenue for recourse. Go to WPH if you’re interested in marketing, not if you’re interested in living.

Valeria Oceguera My stay at WPH maternity and delivery was the worst. I’ve heard such good things about this hospital but I was extremely disappointed on how I was treated in the postpartum ward. When we arrived at the postpartum section of the hospital the nurse that night did not even check in on us during our stay. She came in only once and mentioned to us the safety of baby being put on back to sleep and what to expect during the first 24 hours of life. Never did she mention how I was going to feed him or brought me water or a drink. After that she never popped in the room to check up or see how we were doing during the night. Every time we would use the phone to call one of them we would get hung up on and most of the time they would never show up. Again, whenever I needed a nurse they would never show up and if they did it would be 40 minutes later. I had to walk to their station at one point just to be heard (and I had a c section) and I noticed they were all just there sitting. One of the nurses promised to give me a goodie bag with things for my baby and she never gave it to me. I asked another nurse if she could bring me water and she never did (this happened multiple times) the nurses were not attentive at all with me or my baby. Also, they waited last minute to tell me I lost a lot of blood during my delivery and that I needed to take iron supplements. Why couldn’t they tell me this earlier? On the day of my discharge a nurse came in and told me they were about to let me go without a CBC done the nurse said they had forgot to do a CBC. How do they just forget to do a CBC? And shouldn’t they have done it earlier? I do not recommend this hospital for labor and delivery please look elsewhere.

Charisse Curtis I just want to send a Heartfelt Thank You to the IR department. Starting from the front desk to the end of my procedure. To the nurses and Dr. Burns. Everyone was professional, kind, and compassionate, made my morning less stressful. To the nurses in the recovery/ observation area made sure I was comfortable and doing well. Also to Maureen whom I had spoken to on the phone the day before my procedure . I was able to see her do her job with kindness, assuring patients calling for assistance were treated with respect and dignity. She was always pleasant when the doctors, nurses, and other staff approaching her for help. The X-Ray to patient transport excellence from all departments!

Nicole DAmbrosio Dr. Runyan was exceptional. She listened to my concerns, reassured me, and was very caring and personable. You can tell she works hard to provide great care to her patients. I only took off one star for the wait time. I was seen about 2.5 hours after my appointment. The receptionists and the nurses were nice and understanding. I would return again, even with the wait times, because I know I would be getting quality care.

Nekia Williams I recently visited this Dr. Runyan an OB/GYN practice and had an amazing experience. The doctor was incredibly attentive, kind, and was able to see me the following day. She took the time to hear all of my concerns and made me feel heard and understood. The office staff were also professional and accommodating. I was able to check in almost immediately and there was hardly any wait time.
I was so impressed with the care I received that I referred my sister to this practice and even scheduled an appointment for my daughter. Its not often that you find a medical practice that provides such exceptional care and service. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of OB/GYN care. Thank you to the entire staff for making my visit a positive one!

Amy Coghlan Dr. Synder was great. Unfortunately the experience making the appointment was awful!! Its very difficult to get them on the phone. When I finally did the lady was so unprofessional. My couple of weeks old baby started crying (as they do) and I wasnt fast enough to settle him or call out my insurance details to her. She thought she put me on hold but instead I heard everything she said about me to her colleague including judging me for making a phone call while my baby was crying and also commenting that she couldnt understand me because I was foreign and had an accent. For the record, Im a native english speaker. I just dont speak like an American. Not the experience Id wish on any other newly postpartum mom.

Angelica Lepe Horrible service. receptionist (bigger woman with grey dreads) hates her job/ life and takes it out on everyone else. a hispanic lady put me in a room and told me to get off the table/ chair bc they forgot to change the paper from the previous patient. and the nurse, bald black man (didn’t bother catching his name) is extremely rude and talks to you like a child. He walks into the room, that im in to take my blood pressure. no greeting. not a single word leaves his mouth. he sticks out the blood pressure cuff insinuating to put my arm in, and again, doesn’t say a word. i stick my arm out and he takes my blood pressure. once that’s done he leaves and AGAIN; SAYS NOTHING. he comes back to give me shot and ask questions regarding the questionnaire, i filled out in the waiting room. i put down i have anxiety that i haven’t treated yet or checked out. bald man asked if i self diagnosed, which i did. he told me “do not to put that down on paper, if my doctor didn’t tell me i was or wasn’t given medication”. fine. that’s my mistake. i apologize.
I had put down “not sure” for the high cholesterol question. my previous doctor visit; my doctor told me i had high cholesterol. i put “not sure” because i was NOT SURE if i still did. bald man made a problem out of it bc i wasn’t given medication for it so i “don’t have high cholesterol and shouldn’t put it down on the paper”. why have the “not sure” option then? like he said previously said “unless your doctor didn’t tell you you have it, then don’t put it” well my doctor DID and i WAS NOT SURE if i still did, so i put “not sure”. he decided to lecture me about it causing problems in their system and with the doctor. i was visibly upset and just wanted to continue with my appointment so i told him to move on. he spoke horrible towards me and should reevaluate his career if he hates it so bad. ya need to do better. this is your job. you don’t like it? find another job. maybe do a whole career change that doesn’t involve people.

Walter Parker To whom it may concern, please do not let this be a reflection on the hole establishment but the people in the lobby need better training. I had an appointment today for a fiber scan and was told to go to 2 Longview Avenue the fourth floor. To make a long story short The people in the lobby at the desk sent me next-door and those people next-door sent me to the maternity ward at White Plains Hospital. Again not a reflection on the whole cancer center just the people in the lobby that supposed to send people in the right direction. I missed a very important appointment and had to reschedule it. Hopefully the next time I will see some improvement. Poor lobby staff.

Loretta Ambrosio How anyone can give this institution less than 5 stars baffles me! My mom is now 92 yrs old and was diagnosed with metastatic cancer 3 yrs ago. Under the exceptional care of Dr Karen Green and the White Plains Hospital Infusion Center she’s still going strong and enjoying her life! The nurses and all the staff go above and beyond for their patients. The kindness and care they show is indescribable! Care so personal that you actually feel like family! Each one of them should be canonized! Their professionalism, knowledge and competence gives you the peace of mind you need and you’re always treated with dignity and respect. Going thru chemotherapy is such a stressful, frightening experience. It’s comforting to know that each time you go the nurses, front desk, aids and everyone else involved is going to greet you by name and with a smile! The lunch person even remembers that my mom loves ice cream and he makes sure to find her and hand her a cup of vanilla each time she’s there! God bless every one of the staff and Dr Green! If not for each and every one of them my mom wouldn’t still be here with us.

C H Truthfully, the only reason I continue to come is because of Dr. Costin and a select amazing few nurses and staff. The front desk staff on the third floor is unprofessional, unfriendly, and needs desperate assistance. The amount of scheduling errors, insurance problems, and attitude I’ve experienced from these women is far too much for anyone going through this illness. This is fairly recent, as I’ve been coming here since 2016 and didn’t experience this earlier on.
The amount of nurses that have unfortunately destroyed my arms and veins from being unable to insert a needle is also tiresome. My arms have been pricked dozens of times a month for years, but I still have month long bruises from the attempts at this center. I dread it so much but it is a necessary part of my life.
However, the good parts of this center are still worth it. I appreciate the few who care for making this experience less miserable.

Monae Fontaine Although I never had the pleasure of personally meeting, Dr. Sehgal, My Nana, who was her patient,
respected and loved her. My Nana, often spoke very dearly of, Dr. Sehgal, and would even celebrate her personal life, for instance, the birth of her children.
I didnt understand it before when she was living, why she (My Nana)gave of herself so freely to her doctors and the chemotherapy treatment team, but now I do. Its because they gave so much to her. Imagine being at your most vulnerable state in life and finding support, comfort and understanding.
In not having to explain how youre feeling or why. There was a relationship built during her twice weekly treatments unlike any ordinary patient-Dr/patient-nurse bond. There was a JOURNEY. A mutual respect. There was compassion.
Before, My Nanas discharge the doctor and nurses shed come to love, one in particular I recall being, Ashley, visited with her, and they shared emotions. She told me THATS when she knew she was dying. It breaks my heart but it also brings me happiness to know that she was shown compassion and love in LIFE!
So, Thank You, Dr. Sehgal, and Thank You to her treatment team for giving her love when you could do no more.

He prescribed many cancer treatments but the minute we realized something was off and got a second opinion my father was immediately put into hospice and able to rest finally.

Jenn Doun Was in care of Dr.Costin for a few years during college- I always felt his care to be inappropriate. I was in for follow up for leukemia, and he would ALWAYS do a full breast examination. In my 12 years of remission & being followed up by other docs, I’ve never had to have my breast examination. I found it very predatory & creepy.
Also, he did not catch my low immunity, and it took another doc to put me on IV immunity infusions because I was getting sick all the time. I had literally no benefits from seeing this doctor.

Shannon Henrici I need to share this for no other reason than wanting to help save another persons life. Dr. Bavaro is a kind, down to earth, caring doctor. She always made me feel comfortable. I have not seen her for anything other than an annual women’s checkup. However, she missed my tumors during my annual breast exam last year. I had been seeing her for years and I relied on her to check my breast for lumps. I never did a self exam. Last year I went to see her, she checked my breasts, and she found nothing. One week later I accidentally found two lumps in my left breast. I called her office and it took over a month for me to get another appointment with her, even though I said I found lumps in my breast and that I was very concerned. I didn’t know what to do so I waited. At the second appointment, she agreed that I had lumps and wrote me a prescription for an ultrasound at WP Imaging center. She gave me the number to their center and suggested I call and schedule my own appointment. I called them nonstop (there are several WP imaging locations) and no one had an appointment. I called for weeks and almost gave up. Finally, I was able to schedule an appointment. This was almost two months after finding my own lumps. Long story short, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at age 31. Went through chemo and all. I had told Dr. Bavaro at every appointment that my grandma died of breast cancer, but she said nothing. She continued to prescribed me hormonal birth control for years. My cancer was hormone receptive, so every time I took that pill, it was feeding the cancer. None of this is anyone’s fault, but you put your trust into your doctors. You would hope and expect that they tell you of the risks associated with hormonal birth control, etc. I am not saying she is a bad doctor or person, but this truly made me realize that no one cares about your health more than you do.

Taisha Eacribano 8 months into my high risk pregnancy and Dr Bavaro and her team have been amazing since day 1. She really helped my husband and I through our fears of pregnancy after a loss in the second trimester. Very caring and compassionate. Sometimes the wait times can be a bit long as she has a lot of patients and takes her time but she’s worth it (also very nicely provides snacks when there are delays). I know we appreciate that she takes her time with us and doesn’t rush us. We are so happy to have found her. We are looking forward to meeting our bundle of joy in a month!

Melissa M Dr. Bavaro is amazing, the person who posted a bad review should be removed since its not relevant to the Dr. herself, shes just complaining about the waiting time in the office in general.
Dr. Bavaro has great bedside manor and she never rushes you. She always asks if you have any questions at the end of your visit. She seems to genuinely care about your wellbeing. I absolutely loved having her deliver my second child and plan to see her once Im ready for #3. The doctor that delivered my first son was very cold and it just didnt seem as personal to her. Dr. Bavaro made the whole experience much more pleasant than my first doctor. I highly recommend her!

Sonya Williams Dr. Bavaro might be amazing - I will never know; but her nurse is a terrible human being. I was scheduled for a new patient appointment to review my pregnancy. I fell very ill a couple weeks before that appointment and called to plead if I could come in earlier to see the doctor, advised that I had an ER visit the day before and needed to follow up with the doctor. I expressed my concern for the health of my baby and the nurse who works directly with Dr. Bavaro said to me “the fetus is not even viable at 7 weeks”. Can you imagine someone in healthcare being so cold? Nonetheless, she went into the system I later found out and cancelled my scheduled appointment out of spite. I will stay far away from these people.

I have been there twice to see Dr. Gulotta for my shoulder issues. I only went there from NJ because he had no appointments available in New York city and it was more of an urgent problem. Their radiology department and personnel are top notch as is everybody at HSS. The facility is beautiful and spacious. Much less crowded than the city... easy to get to as well.

Jeremy Coplo Poorly run PT office here, outlandishly rude scheduling staff, some okay PTs but too many subpar ones. Scheduling is a mess, you can only schedule 1 month ahead and theres usually no availability for 1 month out. you have to call every Monday to schedule appointments for a new week of the following month . Ensuring you get your prescribed PT appointments as a post-op patient is difficult as youre added to random wait lists that may or may not pan out. I would not recommend this office unless youre getting the PT for free here.

Dan R Unfortunately, my experience at HSS Westchester Physical Therapy is well below treatment standards, specifically; inconsistent scheduling, canceling appointments without notification and PTs lack of commitment to the whole patient not just chasing ROM numbers.
My knee presented as a full knee revision replacement for a fractured partial knee replacement, with a collapsed and fractured tibia plate.
Its obvious my situation is a challenging one, and without any real commitment from them; office manager (Michele Shapiro) and PT (Chery Sun) are fully aware of my situation and have not reached out to help. And the latest cancellation of a scheduled appoint - the front desk confirmed that my appoint was changed and I was not notified. So, I was late and unable to be seen, again for the fifth time in four weeks and in that time actually received PT 5 times!
Hopefully your experience is better. To have to deal with a below standard level of care is unacceptable, and frustrating when trying to focus on healing and recovering!

Priya This is my first time at this location as I brought my spouse here since Dr. K treated him when he was hospitalized last week. We came to this office for the followup visits. We came in 30 minutes ahead. We waited over an 1.5 hour. It seems they overbook appointments with Dr. K and the manager said they do this all the time. I spoke to few other patients and their experiences here has been the same. While they say Dr. K is good, his wait time is horrible. Personally, overbooking and making patients wait for a long time is questionable practice.
Another things that seemed very fishy, possible suspect for discrimination and unethical behavior was when they were taking in some patients who came in later to see maybe Dr. K before some patients there earlier.
I personally never had this experience as I have been patient at mount Sinai over 20 years. They don’t overbook. The wait time is under 20 minutes.
There is something seriously flawed with administration ( how they run this office)
Hope this helps the readers thinking to visit this location. Hopefully the administration improves overbooking issue and queuing and taking in people in fair manner regardless of one’s race.

Jo Ann Bullard This is part one of the review:
I had a scheduled appointment on 1/12/23, to see my gastroenterologist, Dr. Tsai. My husband and I arrived at 12:20 pm for my 12:40 pm appointment. I walked up to the front desk and went to the first window thats located on the left side of the office and attempted to check for my appointment, when I gave my name to the white female with long dark brown hair at the very first window, she asked me if I had a referral, and I told her I didnt have a referral, didnt know that I needed one, she then asked me with a nasty tone, when was the last time you saw Dr. Tsai, I responded that I her saw back in 2021 when she was her office in Eastchester. This white female proceeded to scold me by telling, me that it is my responsibility to know that referrals only last 6 months, and also my responsibility to obtain the referrals. I told this nasty white female employee that I wasnt notified that I needed a referral when I saw my PCP in Nov 2022, or when I made the appointment on the Connect Patient Portal. I wasnt notified by anyone in Dr. Tsais office, that I needed a referral. I asked her if she could please call my PCP office to request for a referral, she stated to me very nastily, "No because I have to answer the phone, and thats not my job." I told her I shouldnt be penalized for not having a referral when I wasnt aware that I needed one, she ignored what I said, and at that point I decided to call my PCP office to have the referral sent over. While I was outside in the corridor attempting to contact my PCP for the referral which took me over 20 minutes to find someone that knew what they were talking about, my husband went back inside the office to see if he could assist me with this issue. My husband went back into the office and attempted to speak to the same white female that I spoke to regarding my referral. My husband asked the same woman, " What seems to be the problem with my wife, why cant see Dr. Tsai, she responded because she needs a referral. My husband responded, shes not a new patient to Dr. Tsai, shes seen her before, and she responded that is the procedure, so my husband asked her why cant you call up her PCP Dr. Dow to get the referral? She responded, "Well I cant", and my husband said " What do you mean you cant, youre not doing anything. She then got up from her desk and proceeded to walk to the back of the office to speak to other women, she then came back with a short woman with her pulled back in a ponytail, and she asked what seems to be the problem? My husband responded this woman doesnt want to help my wife with getting a referral, being very nasty to her. The short woman said, " You have to forgive her she doesnt feel well", my husband said " Well send her home, there are other women of all shapes and sizes that could do her job.

Most of the techs (in the burgundy scrubs) were socializing and very loud but the nurses dedication to patient care was evident. The doctors made me feel heard and cared for. Only cons were the inconsiderate techs laughing and carrying on loudly while patients were scared and in pain and the wait for the MRI was extremely long, I arrived at about 1:15pm was discharged at about 10pm. Overall wonderful caring staff. I received fantastic care.

Odochi D I decided to come to this hospital because it was ranked highly on Google. My mistake was not realizing that I shouldve looked up the ER page for the hospital. They have free valet parking in the ER. Security and check-in staff are nice and professional. But once you get in the back its a whole different story. Brought a family member here who was in a lot of pain. He ranked his pain an 8/9 out of ten. In the 6 hours we were there, they gave him nothing to assist with his pain, not even a simple Tylenol. Yet a woman who came in a long while after us was given something right away. After yelling, she had a bunch of people running to her side and even after that whoever was with her stated the pain medicine wasnt strong enough so they quickly went and gave her something else. They didnt do anything to actually resolve the reason my family member was brought in there except check vitals, stick an IV line in their arm, and run a CT scan. They essentially gave them instructions on how to resolve it on their own. For all that I couldve taken them to CityMD. We wouldve been out sooner. I will say the doctor seemed pleasant that assisted my family member. The best thing that ER has are the volunteers that go around checking on patients, especially a particular older gentleman. He was so kind, considerate, and empathetic. He deserves whatever money these nurses are getting paid because as other reviews have said, theyre too busy talking about their personal lives, especially the one assigned to my family member. All she cared about was talking with the male nurse about going to beach parties, what alcoholic drinks theyve tried, or what concerts they have been to or want to go to. I felt sorry for the older gentleman with dementia she essentially was sticking like a pin cushion trying to find his vein. She was very unprofessional. All the awards theyre displaying must be made on Canva. There are so many of the nurses there in the ER but only a fraction that are actually working. Most are clearly getting paid just to be there. Special thanks to the volunteers who were the highlight of that experience.

Marlene C Poor Communication and Infection Control at White Plains Hospital
My daughter was recently treated at White Plains Hospital for a severe kidney infection caused by E. coli. While I appreciate the staff’s efforts during an incredibly busy time, I am deeply disappointed by several aspects of her care that compromised her health and safety, as well as the safety of others.
After spending 12 hours in the ER waiting to be admitted due to a lack of available rooms, she was finally moved to a different area of the ER and informed that she was “practically admitted.” During those 12 hours, she used the public restrooms and interacted with staff and other patients, unaware that she was contagious. It wasn’t until much later that a nurse told her she was contagious and needed to be isolated. This information should have been communicated immediately upon diagnosis to protect hospital workers, patients, and visitors.
To make matters worse, when she was “admitted,” she was placed in a shared room with an elderly woman who was very ill and vulnerable, raising serious concerns about cross-contamination and infection control.
This experience highlights a significant failure in communication and adherence to infection control protocols. Hospitals have a duty to prioritize patient and public safety, and in this case, the delays and lack of transparency were unacceptable.
I hope White Plains Hospital takes steps to address these issues to prevent similar experiences for future patients. Clear communication, proper isolation, and timely care are critical, especially in cases involving contagious conditions.

Kiara - This emergency room is ran very poorly. There is absolutely no help once you have been admitted. Nurses walk right past you without giving you updates. Shifts change and you start from stage 1 all over again. It’s absolutely insane. They have you sitting in these uncomfortable chairs that are falling apart because they’re full. You feel like a hinderance waiting here. The entry/check in to the hospital was pleasant though.

ROSA GARAGATTI I have nothing but positive things to say about this facility. Two weeks ago, I had to bring my senior father in after he had a fall. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff, Johanna and Wendy, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and warm. They efficiently helped us with registration and ensured that my father was comfortable while we waited to see the doctor.
When we were called in, Dr. Mayer was attentive, personable, and patient with my father, making him feel genuinely cared for. He ordered X-rays to rule out any serious injuries. Nurse Amelia was also wonderful, making us feel at ease during the entire process.
When my father needed to undergo the X-ray, the radiology team—Corey, Curtis, and Fernando—was exceptional. They were all extremely patient and kind, ensuring my father was comfortable. This team at WPH Armonk truly provides outstanding care, and we are grateful for their professionalism and compassion.

Amy C Use any doctors office but this one unless you want an $800 bill. They are very deceptive and marked my ultra sound as a diagnosis vs. prevention after a referral from a doctor within the same office. I am starting to think this is a scam where they say you need an ultrasound and then say there is nothing. Dr. Seuss and the radiology tech were very unprofessional during the entire ultrasound even mocking my OBGYN for even referring me for the ultrasound saying that doctors cant tell between breast tissues and lumps and made the entire thing very uncomfortable and then to add the cherry on top I get a $221.00 bill for "Professional Services" from Dr. Seuss and an $800 bill for "outpatient" hospital equipment that was used?! Shocking that she charges that much for being a professional when her bedside manner is horrendous and downright rude when getting something that could be serious checked out. Shameful practice and hoping this review helps someone out there from the agony.

A O Shady billing practices and deceptive loopholes will leave you with a high bill that you can’t get covered by insurance even if in network. They are a bunch of crooks and I highly recommend to go anywhere else for anything medical you need. Facility charges and professional charges are just a few of the cash grabs that they have billed for and they also bill this location is an outpatient facility and not a doctors office which will affect the coverage.

Nick Krishnani We have visited twice with Dr Paul Gagglio for my mother’s spinal injury and I can’t say enough about how attentive, caring and thoughtful he has been. He has explained the situation, answered questions patiently and given wonderful advice all along. Many thanks for making her feel so well taken care of!

Oliver McIntyre Second time visiting this wonderful facility. This morning was to have a cat scan for a recurring sinus infection. The place is superb, everyone here is extremely personable and efficient. You walk through the sliding doors and people actually smile and direct you to the relevant department.
I arrived at 9:45 for a 10AM appointment and was walking out of the building at 10:14AM.
I have nothing but good things to say about White Plains Hospital-and this satellite facility really is top-class.
Thank you all!

Paulette T I have gone here since 2008. The doctors and staff are smart and they do whatever they are able to give you appointments as soon as possible. If I have had a Health issue and my doctor cannot see me, I am happy to see another doctor. I found they keep good records and are shared, as needed with other specialties. My doctors practice may be “closed” to new patients but all the docs are competent.

Drew Rahimi I went to this practice for years I have seen 5 Doctors there and the only one worth a damn is the Saturday guy (unfortunately I forgot his name) the reception staff is beyond rude as well as incompetent I regularly get messages saying my appointment is at one time and when i come in it has routinely been rescheduled without my permission. That was just the tip of the Iceberg A Neurologist there told me i might have a brain aneurysm and would not return my call for a week. Luckily i was fine. i have several more stories they are not good. DO NOT GO

Diana Santiago Not the same since my primary doctor left. Expect appointments to be over booked and to take over an hour more of waiting and being seen. Not the same quality of physicians. Dr. Indio was great, but went for an echo and had an appointment for 5:30, it was 5:53 and still no one called for me. If the time goes to 6:00 I am leaving.

Robert Messinger This practice has some great doctors, but god forbid you actually need to see one! After 8 years, Im saying goodbye because from a management perspective, their business model isnt palatable. Most likely due to antiquated Top down management.

V O Horrible place. Totally avoid. They will end up asking you a bill for which the service is either not performed or lie that you do not have to pay a bill. I will never go to these shameless people

Francine Salerno Cieslinski Trying to get thru to the CT or MRI department is near impossible. The message is always the same we have a high volume of calls. Then you leave a message. It takes forever for someone to get back to you. Regardless of how many times my MD faxes the script it takes forever for radiology to get it. It has gotten ridiculous. On a positive note the technicians are friendly, professional and empathetic.

Wolfgang Schöpf Terrible process to schedule appointments - only a call center to call for getting callbacks which then take days/weeks. They wont schedule anything without having the prescription but refuse to receive the prescription in any other way than fax.
Even worse, every time I call that call center, theyll make you spell out names and birth dates just to receive a call back.
Ughhh! How hard should it be to make a Dr appointment??

Giuliana Sandoval I am so upset. If any gets this person Carolyn as stated she is only a scheduler if you ask her questions she will hang up on you. My mother who needs surgery and needs a ctscan which I was able to find at this faculty with an appointment in February this appointment was scheduled since January. She waited a week prior to the appointment to tell me first she don’t chache after doctors and then tells me that the doctor I gave her information about told her they don’t have anything either. A trained professional should tell me what exact clearance my mother needs and how to get it. It horrible to have people like her working in a place where people need it and she just cancels it without any care.

anna valente I was looking for a new doctor for my husband and I as mine retired. Well after calling this practice numerous times and being on hold forever I left my name and number with the answering service with no return call back. I started reading all the reviews and honestly I don’t. Think I want to have this office take care of us. It sounds pretty crazy to me.

addie madden If I can give this facility a negative star I would. I just received my lab work via us mail. Dr. Yuen does not even have the decency to call and go over mybresults so its up to me to try and decipher my test results. They should pull her medical license. I have never in my 60 years of living dealt with a doctor like this. I still have no understanding of what my results are..I bet I will get a bill in the mail demanding money. I have now have to pay another doctor to decipher my results. I wouldnt go to this horrible facility if it was the last one in the world. Absolutely the worst experience. Do not go to this place!

James Sanders I recently had an excellent experience at Doctors United in White Plains that I just have to share! After throwing my back out while deadlifting in the gym, I was in search of a chiropractor to help with my recovery. I called the Doctors United White Plains and was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the receptionist named Maria, who quickly booked me an appointment for the very next day.
When I arrived, I anticipated a bit of a wait, which is entirely understandable in busy clinics. However, I was called back relatively quickly and met Dr. Noel. From the moment I entered the treatment room, I felt at ease. Dr. Noel worked wonders on my spine, and the relief I felt during the adjustments was incredible—so many satisfying cracks and pops!
After my session, I left feeling rejuvenated and much better than when I walked in. Dr. Noel provided great recommendations for icing, rehab exercises, and stretching, which I diligently followed. Within a week, I was back at the gym—albeit with lighter weights—but I felt significantly improved.
Ive decided to make chiropractic care a regular part of my wellness routine, and Doctors United White Plains will definitely be my go-to place. If youre in the area and need a chiropractor, I highly recommend checking them out!

Roxanne Rivera By far the most unprofessional office I’ve ever been to. Each visit Ive come in for was a scheduled appointment and I still waited no less than 3 - 4 hours with my new born. It took me weeks just to get the proper paperwork done. Nothing is done properly, or in a timely matter. Very disappointing.

Leanne R Ive been going here for over 10 years on and off depending where I move to. The staff are friendly, even when you have an issue. When you sign in, make sure you also speak to someone at the front desk and tell them why youre there so you dont have such a long wait I see everyone complaining about. Its a Doctors office with a lot of different things going on, so just have a seat and relax until they call your name like at every other Doctors office.

Joseph Dallesandro Some of the doctors are good. But, largely this place is one big referral mill. “Broke your toe? Maybe you should see our dermatologist, we have a great one right here in this office. When you’re done with that, check in with our dietician. We can set you up with those appointments right now.”
It gets old fast and makes it hard to navigate your health because you’re not sure if you need to see one of their specialist, or if they’re just trying to upsell you a referral.

Anna Jae STORY TIMEEE…
I was seen by a specific midwife/rn (I won’t Say her name) but she made me and my boyfriend extremely uncomfortable, especially me . I went in as a new patient for confirmation of pregnancy but things ended up going left. The exam was very painful and uncomfortable and then she sent me to get blood drawn and told me she would give me a call the next day with results. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL! I called the office multiple times her personal extension and the front desk all day the day after and no one answered (this was on the 25th) . The woman decides to call me almost an entire week later (may 31st) but from a block number (call showed up as no caller ID) . My phone is programmed to decline blocked number . So she proceeds to leave me a voicemail explaining her opinion on the results of my blood work, who does that ? And everything she said was “bad news” and told me I have signs of a “failed pregnancy” . I rushed to the ER today to check if I actually have a failed pregnancy and they did all of my tests and turns out my pregnancy is perfectly fine my baby has a heartbeat…. If I could report it to any higher up of Whiteplains Hospital I will . The nurses and front desk were very nice but that woman had me stressed and depressed for an entire week . If I could personally give her half a star I would . you don’t call a patient blocked where you like me or not neither do you leave lab results on a voicemail .

chelsea ripoll I had transferred and became a new patient at WhitePlains OBGYN 1 year ago. Doctors and nurses are nice. However everytime I request a refill on a specific medicine I need the wrong one gets sent to me although, it says it clearly on my medical records. Also every time I try to make an appointment the phone never gets picked up and have to stop by the clinic to make an appointment which can be very inconvenient. The clinic definitely needs improvement in being organized and finding ways to keep up with all the patients.

Melissa Mason We were taken to the back at 12:40am, given a bed directly in front of nurses station and was completely ignored until 2am until I told the ER admin I was leaving to go to another hospital. My daughter was in a lot of pain. I asked a nurse twice when we were going to be seen and her response was “they’ll be right with you”. I am embarrassed for how NYP treats patients. I will NEVER return to this ER again and I have been coming here since the late 1980s. I should not have to feel like I need to walk out to another hospital for then the Nurse Asst Manager Georgette or Georgina to care about patients care. Apparently the nurse that was originally supposed to care for my child walked off after being seated DIRECTLY across from us, (he even gave me a chair to sit next to my daughters bed so he obviously knew we were there) walked off for his break. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Then when I started complaining and raising my voice out of frustration a security guard was placed by me and was staring me down like I was some criminal. The only reason I rated it a 2 because after I was walking out, Antoinette became our nurse and she was amazing. She was empathetic & caring unlike the other nurses. The ER nurses need better training on how to be empathetic. I understand the hospital was over capacity with patients but the nurses need to understand that we, the patients, are humans, we need to be acknowledged not just treated like a paycheck to them.

Bunny After being to a previous hospital emergency department twice that couldn’t help me, even will go as far as to say were not caring and/or serious about my conditions. For the first time in over a week, I am now able to stomach water and soon see myself eating again. I’m so happy I went to this hospital, wish I went sooner so I wouldn’t have suffered for so long. They are very professional, knowledgeable, empathetic, and make you feel like family. This hospital deserves more positive recognition. Words can’t explain how happy I am. I couldn’t stop saying thank you on my way out.

Andrew My emergency room visit has been very disatisfying due to the charge nurse Kaicee Gallo Rn. She moved me out of the closed curtain room area section I was placed in for protection due to my illness. RN Kailee Gallo Placed me in the hallway area with no equipment monitoring my heart. I expressed to her my chest pains are severe and I’ve been admitted but sitting in the emergency room for 3 days because I have been told there was no bed ready for me. She threatened me saying she will not allow me to have no visitors for the rest of my ER stay and kicked my father out into the waiting room area. As I’m writing this email it’s been 20 minutes without monitoring and she is trying to kill me at this point. I should’ve went to white plains hospital for better service. I will update with more info later about my stay but for now I don’t have much good to say. Let’s see if this changes!

Jill Zimmerman My husband was admitted but initially entered the emergency room on December 31, 2024.
The new year was not starting off on a good note. However.;
The staff and doctors were very attentive. He had a fever and was shaking. He was then admitted to the hospital and he received the upmost and five star plus service. AND CARE.
My family has been to many of the hospitals in the area and Presbyterian ( f/k/a Lawrence) vs all the rest of the hospitals in the area outshined all the rest ,in regard to service , bed side manor and professionalism of this hospital
I have left a message with the administration office as well to relay these sentiments.
