Kyle As someone who went here as a teenager. 8 Years later I can confidently say this place messed me up as a human being. I havent been the same since. Do not bring your children here unless it is an absolute emergency, and even then, try to go somewhere else.

Ripped2Shreds Well I spent at least three years in CDCP and some of the time was hard. The food isnt terrible, of course know one is going to like everything. The place is loaded mice and Ive seen them on my bed. The staff does have some people that are hard to deal with but on the other hand they are made to work crazy hours or get fired. One thing about the place is that they have some very scary people that can attack at any time. Update, its been 3 years since I left the hospital and now I look back cdpc did me no good I have terrible memories and nightmares about the place.

Andy Crowley We were a little unsure when we pulled up but the pop up event was was actually very real and scary. We had never done one of these themed escape rooms before and neither had any of our group but it was awesome! Doing it in a real operating psych hospital was interesting. One of the actual patients stepped in and helped us get out of room 5. We thought she was an actor until one of the workers came and removed her. I didnt like that they only took cash because on the website it said they took apple pay. I signed up for their newsletter because I cant wait to do another one of these Midnight Loony Bin Escape Rooms next time I come to Albany!

Wendy Scott I have a loved one staying there and the staff has been wonderful and always answering questions for any issues I have to ask . Keeping me informed of his medical needs . Parking is in a I think 9 story parking garage and level 7 and higher are for visitors . I was able to drop off clothing , toiletries and money order for his snacks at the front . My only complaint was when I asked the security guard for restroom he pointed to a door which was the exit of the facility which was not nice all he had to say is no restroom I am editing this review . After my loved one left the facility he told me a lot of things that alarmed myself about this place . 1st of all it’s not a vacation being there but worse then jail and this recent review is coming from someone that was a patient . In the morning when you leave your room , the room will be locked the whole day so as a patient you will have to stay in dayroom for whole day . 2nd . If you have to use restroom you need to find a staff member cause always locked now I understand for safety but staffing is bad as well the staff members are scarce and not very nice I was told . My loved one got a blood clot and was asking for a nurse to help him with the pain he was feeling and thank god she finally listened they rushed him to Albany med in time to save his life . Very scary and he said they don’t give you any water throughout the day . Because my loved one has serious pysch problems I am worried he going back inside and for longer and I will be contacting his councilor daily make sure his needs are met

Keith Lappin Worse than a prison. My girlfriend came here voluntary, and was treated like a prisoner. The staff constantly lied about when she would be evaluated. They would say a few minutes and tell her to be patient, then hours go by with no information. At least prisoners are told the truth when they ask for an appeal. After a while, all she wanted was to go home. They then refused to give her a second evaluation and hospitalized her against her will. Also, there were mice everywhere at night. The staff even joked about teaching them tricks when my girlfriend complained about them. Make sure you are serious about wanting to commit suicide when you call 911. Because if you arent, you will want to after your stay here.

Jay Cordero Ive come here to treat my PCOS. Dr Baker is an awesome doctor. What I will say about this place is when I do need my ibuprofen I could never receive it. I always get the runarounds about me calling the pharmacy then the pharmacy tells me to call the doctor. I havent received my medicine in months because its so difficult to get Ibuprofen. I do not recommend this place.

Ri Ri I had a nurse by the name of Sierra Fotay and she is not pleasant at least. Ive had debat the woman about my pain levels and constantly tell her to check my charts because I have no opiate abuse found. I simply needed meds for my back due to my spine sitting on my pelvis. She gave me hell today because I didnt know she would as me the same questions as the previous one I seen. She stared at me with blank stare and told me I was being defensive. I told her I apologize if she felt that way but I was telling her I didnt understand what she meant when speaking about other providers being that st peters is the main if not only place Ive gone for years. Out of retaliation, she proceeded to give me a prescription for Tylenol. Ive gone as far to show her my x-rays and she still has an attitude. Mostly everyone is super kind there but her.

Natasha Robles They have this lady named “Mary” that works in the “access center” and she is rude and weird. She was giggling on the phone while making my appointment and was not saying the correct/accurate information. I don’t recommend her at all I hope they change her!!!

Caroline Boule I’m so disappointed with what has happened to this clinic since May 2024. They do not refill maintenance medication after multiple requests on MyChart and via phone. One of the nurses even gave me incorrect information on how to take medication when I finally reached someone. They must not have known that I’m a doctor myself and I’m switching practices. I just feel bad for the patients who have difficulty advocating for themselves. Please, SPHP, get this practice together for the safety and well-being of your patients!

Keith DeNivo No complaints. My pcp is here. Everyone seems nice. They give referrals if you need them. They always addressed my health concerns.

Quinn Cavanaugh The receptionists, nurses and provider I saw today were absolutely wonderful. I was nervous after seeing the reviews for this location but have been completely put at ease. I was never kept waiting for longer than a minute. The providers took the time and care to make sure all my concerns were addressed. I felt well taken care of and look forward to coming back.

Sam C I scheduled an appointment for 8am, drove to my appointment, tried to check in and when I arrived I was informed that the reception messaged me on mychart that the dr I was seeing was sick and not coming today. I didn’t receive any phone call to reschedule or even let me know my appointment was cancelled. When I asked if someone else could see me she suggested I see an urgent care I informed her I scheduled with my primary care to avoid paying a large co pay like I would there. She said sorry about that did not offer to reschedule or fit me in any other time and there isn’t an available appointment till the 28th and it’s only the 2nd!

Tanajia Davis Nurses are nice and that’s the only reason I give it 2 stars. The doctor is rude and pretty much treats me as of any problem I bring up is insignificant. No referrals, talking over me when explaining my problem. I talked to the nurse answering questions longer than he spoke to me. Then I went in for a simple testing and they never update results until I harass them and I also have to harass them each time just to send in prescriptions (still never even sent my allergy meds in from November it is now April) I believe his name A Ghani. Very rude and unprofessional

Sheila Carpenter As a social worker advocating for a young man needing services from OPWDD I have had incredible assistance from Linda Herron, RN. This lady has been absolutely outstanding. In an attempt to advocate for this young man, 30 years of age with a dx of ADHD and autism, there are different challenges due to this . Understanding that she does not create the process, but she does have to make it work. They are incredibly lucky to have her on staff… And so are we. We all know that the school system fell short when they did not do an appropriate referral for Ethan upon graduation . So we are already behind the eight ball.. Her communication is consistent, Her explanation of needed documents that are unusual to this case is concise, her review of documents is timely. With all that, she is always polite and courteous, always available, always Returns calls, is pleasant and easy to deal with… Even when there are legitimate gripes like my computer system not working on my end and printing not coming out properly on her end because how my Apple system talks poorly to her computer system…. Never ever does she express a moment of agitation or aggravation. As a social work supervisor retired from New York State office of people with developmental disabilities after 33 years, this is the lady that everyone wants on their team. The New York State Department of Health is very lucky to have her… and so are we, the public. Many thanks, Linda. You do both the Department of Health as well as all Nurses, very proud.! Alexandra Constantly harass me. Im an heiress living on welfare, until inheritence. I keep getting weird calls from them, really unpredictable, mad, discouraging. Their mentality, words will not sum, harass me until I look unstable, sick.

Kim Herring Can never get anyone on the phone or no return calls back.

LISA LO I wish they would allow conference calls as I assist many indigenous people whose Spanish is their second language. They need help and the facilitated enrollees often are too busy to help. I know it is the hippa. But they are giving permission for me to assist them on the line.

Kurt Seitz A horrific experience a few months ago. Waited nearly 24 hours to be seen before walking out and driving to Westchester Med, where we were seen right away. At least they had someone check in the waiting room occasionally to see if anyone had passed away while waiting. We will never go back.

Dani DeGregory My mother was transferred here after visiting the Saratoga ER a week after having major vascular surgery feeling lightheaded/dizzy, had shortness of breath, couldn’t keep food down, dehydrated. Waited in a bed in the ER hallway for 24 hours and was only spoken to 3 times the entire time. No tests were run. No IV. Only got one glass of water. Was told she was getting a room shortly after arriving, but never got put into one. Kept pressing the call button to try to start the discharge process and was repeatedly ignored. Could not be more disappointed with the care she received.

Katie Bachli I waited TWELVE hours overnight in the waiting room next to bloody seats and hostile individuals. I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. After 10 hours I began to complain because it was 4 am and I was exhausted. I was finally put in a hallway bed and forgotten about until the morning shift over. I never got a room. After I was evaluated by a doctor in the hallway I was sent home after 14 long hours. Every time I asked for help or for water I felt like the night crew was looking past me and ignoring me. It was a nightmare. I went to Albany Memorial and had a much better experience.

Mary Ann Riccardo Waiting to be seen ,5 &1/2 hrs now. Friend went to Ellis urgent care. Dr advised him to go to Alb Med ER because he needs stitches .Dr called & a surgeon, Dr Roseti (?) will do stitches on upper lip. Reminded receptionist hes here for stitches ,suppose to be a transfer from urgent care. She sez we re busy, I asked why everyone that came in after us has already been called. Not helpful at all. His lip is bleeding again . Universal Health care couldnt be worse than this. I dont recommend coming here , especially if its an emergency to

Matt B The only reason Im giving 1 star is I waited 8 hours to be seen. I ended up needing surgery. Once in the hospital I was treated well. But I sat in the waiting room for 8 hours in a whole lot of pain. I also had no medicine for another serious condition I have all the time I sat there. Which was on my records. The triage nurse was an idiot. The nurses say theyre understaffed. I think the real problem is they dont know what theyre doing. If you have a non serious matter and dont need an ambulance I highly suggest you go to urgent care instead or a less busy emergency room.
