Tammy Lee Connery My 79 year old mother fell, could not walk & in tremendous pain was brought by ambulance to this hospital. Over 5 hours weve been here with my mom on a gurney in a hallway in the ER. Please someone tell me what would does it take to be shown decency & allow for my mom to have some dignity, privacy & respect & shown some compassion.
Update, for the last hour & half, while my mom lays in the hallway, the room she is next to has been empty. But shes not allowed a room?
So in response the "canned response" from the hospital, I called the number & surprised, surprised, I went to voicemail with the recording stating someone would get back to me in 24 hours unless it was a Friday then they would get back to me next week. Again, no consideration, no compassion, no care.

Matthew Morgan I had a very positive experience with surgery here. Every single person I interacted with was helpful, kind, caring, and compassionate. From the front desk, to the staff, nurses, and doctors. Excellent job.
The only downside I experienced here was from some other patients talking incessantly and being very loud, but we all cope with stress in different ways.

Tina L My husband was in ICU Dr calls me at 2:08 AM your husband went into full cardiac arrest and stopped breathing we performed CPR for 2 minutes and brought him back without having to shock him. Charge nurse told Dr visiting hours are at 9am Im not allowed to see him until then. Dr calls back at 2:13 am for my permission to put in an Arterial line which will constantly monitor his blood pressure in case he has another heart attack because according to Dr hes very ill and has had numerous "events" since being hospitalized and another "event" could happen at anytime but Im still denied to see him until 9am. At 2:35 am I call and speak with Nursing Supervisor she said hes not on palliative or hospice care and hes not in a grave or dire situation ( really it sure seemed like a grave and dire situation to me) we have strict visitation guidelines you can see him at 9am. I did reach out to your patient experience department Im still waiting for them to call me back. Still waiting so much for a call back within 24 hours. I called at 3 pm on Monday its Friday still waiting for call back what a joke. 8 days later Im still waiting too bad he passed away 2 days ago SO MUCH FOR COMPASSION AND CARING

Bonnie Davila-Klaer My mom just spent 5 days on the 6T and received exceptional care from the staff. The nurses, PCTs, NP, MD, nursing supervisor, nurse manager and the IA were all amazing. The EVS, transportation staff, kitchen staff and lab staff were all so kind and courteous. It was so comforting to know that my mom was in good hands when I could not be there with her. Thank you to everyone on the 6T!

Kevin Mayfield I had a terrible experience at Samaritan hospital, they had me in a room then I was put out of a room and they made me sit in a hallway for almost two hours. I also asked one of the nurses how long would it for me to see a doctor because my tooth was in pain and she said " sit back and wait your turn ".
