Marsha Deel I came in for chest X-ray. Only waited 5 min to be called up. Took us right away. The girl at the desk was very pleasant. The X-ray tech Anthony was so nice. He made adjustments for my sister and let her sit down. It was pleasant and didn’t hurt an injury she had. It was a great experience with great staff. Thank you.

Mary Mavromatis Scheduling is impossible. My call has been disconnected 4 times. I’ve been at this for over 30 minutes and still don’t have an appointment! Technicians have always been great but this scheduling system is ridiculous (uses to be great). I think it is being outsourced (very poor English, heavy accents, don’t know locations)

Lee Turner I was very impressed with the efficiency of booking my appointment, and the front desk check-in process. The CT tech and nurse were awesome. It was quite apparent that everyone I came in contact with during my visit seemed to care about me, and the other patients near me in the waiting room. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend the HVRA center in New City.

Jesses Clean Gutter Service I cannot believe how fast I was able to get my sonogram today. The whole process was completed successfully in under an hour. Salina Williams Dr. Sayegh was recommended to me when I needed a doctor asap. There was none of that, weeks of waiting! I got right in and he was amazing. After my visit my 16 year old was having some health concerns and we felt it was time to leave the pediatrician behind. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and Dr. Sayegh was so kind to my son, explained EVERYTHING to him and put him at ease. If you are in need of care with the old school family practice vibe, I highly recommend Clarkstown Medical Care, the team and Dr. James Sayegh especially!

Dr. Sayegh and his staff calmed my nerves and listened to what I had to say while being very thorough. Overall it was a great experience and extremely happy with the small town feel of his practice. Chris Spezial After 50 years of my life and going from doctor to doctor, I feel like I have finally ended my search. I am so impressed with the level of care, compassion and concern from everyone at this office. I am especially impressed with the level of care Dr. Sayegh gives me. All the qualities in a doctor that I have been wishing I had, is all what he provides. He answers questions, calls back promptly, shows concern, never rushes me until my questions are answered. kayla nannariello I had a really disappointing experience at this urgent care. In September I hurt my foot. A lump formed on the back of my foot and it was bruised. I went to urgent care, since it was the weekend and I couldnt get into an orthopedist. I was treated by a male doctor, who I had never seen at this urgent care before. He quickly looked at my foot and decided that I didnt need an X-ray. He said he knew my foot wasnt broken because I would be crying if it was...I pointed out the lump and bruising and his response was "Yeah, I see it." I made an appointment with an orthopedist for that Monday and Im glad I trusted my gut because my foot was broken. I ended up in a walking boot for two months, and now in December it is fully healed. I am fully aware that this is an urgent care and they werent going to treat me the same way an orthopedist would. But, I dont understand what the issue was with doing an X-ray. Had I listened to the doctor at this office, I would have continued to walk around on a broken foot.

She was sick ,she had fever,and her insurance they wasn’t accepting,so we decided to pay,and after of 30 minutes of waiting they said to us(receptionist),she can’t be seen because she has all the symptoms of COVID . It was so unprofessional and unpleasant. Really?Its Medical office,you are the Doctors,you are the one who is there to safe the life’s,it was in 2021,at the End of the winter,and there were a lot of Cases of Flue and else diseases,not only Covid. It’s not good Medical professionals,don’t waist your time and find better one!

From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making the wait much more pleasant than expected. The doctor I saw was very professional, attentive, and took the time to listen to all of my concerns. They thoroughly explained my medical history and answered all of my questions in a clear and understandable way. Doris Dunn Your staff is very helpful, professional, and friendly. Your changing rooms need attention. The available locker in the first dressing room was open but had no key. I had to move my belongings to another dressing room. The only available locker had a key but no wristband. Your suggestion box in the waiting area would be more useful if it had paper to write on. But most important is the cleanliness of the facility and the kind staff.

Margaret Byrne I had an annual mammogram at the womens breast center and had a terrific experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, professional and efficient. It is tremendously important that these wonderful women working here make these anxiety provoking exams and visits so much more comfortable. I never miss my annual exam and my mother died of breast cancer at age 67. I always recommend this facility to all of my friends and family members.

Amanda Greene Dr. Varghese changed my life. I found her about 5 plus years ago after a horrible experience at another Doctors office that had me crying on my way out. Dr. Varghese is so kind and understanding. She took a scary time for me and made it better. One of the best doctors I have ever met who truly cares about her patients. She listens to my concerns and addresses them in detail. She has turned my life around for the better. I dont know if id be where I am today if it wasnt for Dr. Varghese!

William B. F. Ryan Dr. Varghese has been treating me for temporal arteritis, which if not successfully diagnosed and treated immediately can lead to sudden blindness. Dr. Varghese has carefully and continuous monitored my treatment during the last 18 months, first with steroids and then with a new drug called Actemera (tocilizumab) in order to allow me to gradually taper off the steroids with their debilitating affects. Under her care, Dr. Varghese prescribed repeated blood tests and bone-density scans. Dr. Varghese was able to negotiate with my healthcare insurance to lower the cost of weekly injections of Actemera from $500 each to a $5.00 co-pay. I feel that her professional care is truly outstanding

Debra Conti The best measurement of any service is the outcome. I spent 10 days in Helen Hayes Hospital recovering from knee replacement. The staff are incredibly kind and caring. Nursing, physical, recreational and occupational therapy work together to provide the best outcomes. Case management and social service work with the family to coordinate discharge and home care. Food is good and food service workers are pleasant. I was blessed to go to a Helen Hayes. I am an elderly female with multiple medical problems and two weeks after knee replacement surgery I am home, independent, walking without a cane or crutches and that my friend is because of the therapy in Helen in Hayes.

Peter Rosario Ive been there several Times for Both In-Patient, and Out-Patient Services. They Help Aide in Physical, Occupational, Neurological Therapy. As Well as for People with Prosthetics. Helen Hayes Hospital is known World Wide with a Stellar Reputation. I Highly Recommend.

Toby Barg Please avoid if you can. The front staff is polite. The nurse was professional and polite. The doctor spent less than a minute in the room after over an hour wait, was rude and extremely abrupt. Did not conduct an actual exam and then briskly said that we needed to go to the ER. Not the right call, but the issue was also that he didn’t take the time to make an informed call. He was very unprofessional. The scribe tech (?) on duty made us feel very uncomfortable. It was an odd and unsettling experience.

Kathleen Reynolds I felt a sensation of a painful electric shock when it happened. I was asked about bleeding problems and medications. My medications happen to be antidepressants and a mood stabilizer, as I am Bipolar. The provider barely checked for a pedal pulse; my foot and ankle were bruised and swollen. There was no check for a temp of toes or warmth created by a blood clot. He said it was Friday. You need to go to the ER. No urgency was noted when he spoke to me—no pain in the calf, groin, or anywhere between. I was discharged with a cane and sent limping out to with instructions. The urgency to go to the ED were written never spent. I was home before I noted it. I also know how to determine when an ultrasound is necessary. Not by personal experience but through assisting a family member with a DV T. I went to the ER and X-ray showed a fractured ankle and negative ultrasound. I left the Er with a splint and crutches. No weight bearing. Fortunately I am a strong woman at 66 yrs of age. Never before so disrespected after knowledge of a Psych Diag was revealed. I am stable on my meds and though I have a label I am not stupid.

Joseph Son Title: Unacceptable Wait Time for Simple Ear Infection I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this CD MD Urgent Care Nanuet location. I checked in at 7:14 PM for what should have been a quick and straightforward visit to check for an ear infection. Despite the simplicity of my issue, I wasn’t seen until much later and didn’t leave until 8:50 PM. The wait time was completely unreasonable, especially considering there weren’t many patients in the waiting area. The staff seemed disorganized, and there was no sense of urgency in addressing patients’ needs. Urgent care should provide quick and efficient service, but this experience was the opposite. I will seriously consider going elsewhere in the future for medical care.

Helene Clemenza Went in today because I’m sick. I was brought into a room within 5 minutes upon arrival. The front desk personnel were attentive & handled my registration quickly. Kevin was my medical assistant. I had to leave a review because of Kevin. He’s such a sweet, gentle, kind & knowledgeable MA. When he took the Covid & flu samples, he was so gentle. He made me feel comfortable. I felt that he truly cared about me. In some of these walkins, it’s hit or miss to get staff that care about you. My husband broke his toe a few weeks ago, and we went there as well. The MA & nurse practitioner were fantastic. The care they gave my husband was above and beyond!

Marc Cutler A great experience from start to finish. Front desk was efficient and friendly. Nurse was knowledgeable and skilled (especially at taking blood). Provider was extremely thorough, professional and caring. The radiology department is a great asset for an Urgent Care. The provider followed up to review test results.

Kelly H Dr. FItzpatrick is the best. He is very thorough and even consults with every patient in his office after he does the check up. I see some negative reviews here in staff. I have never had a issue with the staff....always friendly, have everything ready upon check out. He is part of a large medical group. They dont necessarily do the billing from that location, thats why they take info and forward to billing office. This is how most doctors office works in 2023. My dental office is the same type of set up. Unless you are going to a dr.s office from 1972 this is the way it is.

Nancy Mirabile I have been a patient of Dr. John Fitzpatrick for as far back as I can remember. He is thoughtful, experienced, well informed, and always honest. There are many doctors out there that, during a visit, the patient only sees the top of his or her head, as they are focusing on the computer screen. No matter how busy the office is, Dr. Fitzpatrick maintains his focus on the patient who is in front of him, and these days, that is really rare. I can honestly say that I have never left his office without being better educated about my own body, and more at ease with whatever was bothering me physically. He is a true, compassionate, highly educated professional who was absolutely meant to be a doctor. It is evident that he loves what he does, and I highly recommend this physician to patients of all ages. You will never regret seeing a doctor who sees, hears, and focuses on you and what ails you! Dr. Fitzpatrick truly cares!!

Anthony Lambos I’ll first start off by saying that Dr. Fitzpatrick is an amazing physician and person. That being said. The call center may be the worst I’ve ever experienced. My 92 year old mother tested positive for Covid. So I call. Of course you can’t get thru to the office so the horrendous call center answers the call. I explained the problem and needed some advice from Dr. Fitzpatrick and if he could call me and maybe prescribe some Covid medicine and have it sent to pharmacy. He knows my mother very well. Of course he probably did not receive the message as usual. So I call again today and the worthless call center answers again. This time their system is down but assured me I’d get a call back. Guess what? No call back. I just called again and the call center tells me they cannot access her information because it’s on a different system. This is a joke right? Please Dr. Fitzpatrick or anyone. Something needs to be done here. This is absurd that nothing gets accomplished and sick people who are not mobile suffer. All was needed was a call back and some Covid meds possibly sent to pharmacy. Absolutely ridiculous how this is run. A lot of His staff is awful and cold as well. Especially the front desk person. Sad.

Tommy Landers Dr. Fitzpatrick has been my physician for over 40 years. He is very knowledgeable and caring. However, his office is now controlled by Highland Medical group who never follows through to connect to the doctors office. The nurses in his office are terrific but Highland Medical group refuses to connect to them. I needed a medication today. I started at 8AM and Highland Medical kept saying I would get the medication within 24-48 hours. Meanwhile I am in pain. I called another Doctors office whose nurse was very familiar with a vaginal yeast infection. which requires one pill and she sent the prescription in right away. Meanwhile, Ted over at Highland Medical is still waiting to get his supervisor, Angel to speak to me. I had already spoken to Ashley and Jamie 3 hours ago. I am now on my way to pick up a pill that will give me some relief. If it wasnt for Dr. Fitzpatrick I would leave Highland Medical. From Maureen Landers

Arlene Melillo Let me say at the outset that Dr. Fitzpatrick is a wonderful, caring physican, and the Highland Medical Call Center listens carefully to callers issues ... but nobody in the office follows through. Calls are not returned. The telephone-tag is unproductive. Ive even stopped into the office twice with hard copies of the issues. Somebody always makes a copy and says they will take care of it --- weeks later they havent. It takes entirely too much time and effort to work with this very unprofessonal office staff. Perhaps the Office Manager could intercede.

Candy Tanico Dr. Jacob is an exceptional physician. Her staff is friendly and helpful. She takes time with you and never rushes you. I have been going to her for many years. Most recently I saw her for a constant pain in my back. She examined me and really listened to me. She sent me for tests and because of her knowledge, compassion and really hearing me, my timely diagnosis was made. If you do have to wait, it’s because she spent much needed time with the patient before you. And if needed will do the same for you one day.

Sara L Why does it take almost a week to confirm whether Dr. Jacob is within my network? Why does the receptionist keep saying she will get back to me. Get back to me when? Why does she sound so confused every time she answers and has to take my name. Its incredibly unprofessional. I am sure Dr. Jacob is lovely and a great doctor but her staff lacks the urgency for medical help.

Ati Ati Can’t comment on Dr. Jacob herself because I have not been able to make an appointment. But I can comment on the office staff and the lack of care they have towards their jobs and towards clients. I have tried multiple times to make an appointment, they take down names and insurance information and say that they’ll check insurance coverage and call back, but they never actually follow through. I have called multiple times over the past 2 weeks and all I get is just another promise for a call back that never comes. Every time I call, the office staff sound like I just woke them up from their afternoon nap!

Edgar Elias Very unprofessional staff. Rude and claimed not to take walk-ins even though some prior came in as a walk-in and was seen. Nurse Nita talking about patients by name and about their medical issues where everyone could here, which is a HIPAA violation. In the words of Nurse Nita "I dont care" Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Jaclyn Porpiglia I called to make an appointment for a health concern. While on the phone I was told that because it had been over three years since I was last at the office, I was considered a new patient. And “unfortunately” office protocol was not to schedule new patients for several months out. I clarified with the reception that even though I have a lump that I am afraid might be cancerous, no one will see me because I’m considered “new.” She confirmed this is true. Incredibly disappointed with the lack of care and discretion used.

I had a couple of questions regarding my appointment and also wanted to know if certain information was received by that office. Rae was very helpful. She took her time and addressed my concerns. The certain information I had a question about did not come up right away. It took some searching, but Rae finally found it. I was very pleased. Thank you Rae. Sofia Ohryn One of the WORST places to go since they were bought out. They will not accommodate you, even with an urgent non emergency situation. The front desk staff will not help you schedule a same day appointment ever (Ive tried three times over the course of two months), and if they need to send something for testing, they do not check with you or your insurance which labs are covered by your plan. The providers here themselves are great, but there is really awful management that you have to deal with before seeing the staff whatsoever. Go somewhere else.

Stacey XJ Would not recommend because of my experience with the front desk. You are the face/voice of the company at the beginning. Your job is very important. First impression is everything. 1st visit I got a bad impression. Thought it was me. 2nd time, same thing. 3rd time was over the phone, same young woman who gave me bad vibes in person and same attitude behind that fake voice. 4th time was it for me. My last visit I listened to her as she talked junk about the patient that was on hold.. as if there arent patients in the office. Im switching to the other office. This young lady is unprofessional and shouldnt be working there if she hates it so much.

Katie Rawdon DO NOT COME HERE! The office manager Delica Jones should be fired for her attitude alone, and she should not be in a managerial position. It’s a shame. I’ve been coming here for about 10 years and the providers are all wonderful. Ellen Brunetti FNP is fabulous among the other doctors. But the office staff has led me to leave. and just note, if you have not been seen in the practice for the past 6 months they won’t even fill out a simple immunization form for you!!! Delica told me it couldn’t be done “its policy”, unless I had a follow up appointment. I asked, follow up from what??? I’ve been good, haven’t been sick! That’s a good thing. It means Im healthy! That’s the goal of a primary care is prevention of illness, not get in the office just so we can make money off of an office visit. I’m even up to date on my physical and you can’t fill out a simple form for school because of this silly policy?! Terrible, terrible, terrible. My new PCP filled out the form for me standing right at the front desk when I went there this morning. Customer service will make or break your practice - and this practice is going in the gutter based on the latest reviews.

Rivka Sara Noy-Pedoeem To give this practice one star is even more than it deserves. As someone who works in the medical field I was turned away before I even saw the provider. I waited 40 minutes in the room until I saw the midwife who in my opinion completely ignored all of my concerns and racially profiled me while having a snarky comment to say about my religion. Not only was the patient door open for part of the visit, but when I shared about a unique pain I am experiencing it was brushed and ignored. Besides for all of this the nurse that came to take my blood didn’t use gloves for half the time while prepping to take my blood and then only used one glove without sterilizing their hands after touching all of the cabinets. So to say least. Stay far away.

Dr Fitzpatrick takes days to get back to you, the office hasnt answered their phone in years, they go through answering services like yearly checkups and the admin there are always promising things they cannot commit too. Poorly ran practice. Ill also add 3 different pharmacies said to switch doctors.

Yehuda davis This place has consistently showed no effort to take care of its patients. I received blood work and other testing for an urgent issue, upon which I was told that I’d hear results of within a day, max 2 days. It has now been 9 days, the results have been back for a week and yet no one will look them over, despite my calling several times a day requesting them to. I’ll never use them again.

Rosaleen Cody We have gone to doctor Fitzpatrick for years. He is very caring and tries to get to the problem right away. His office staff we feel deserve a very low score. We have called twice recently with a question and the calling service said they will let his nurse know. Both times we never received a call back. The practice has nurse practitioners but I do not see any nurse listed but no nurse is listed has nurse practitioners

Kamron Bahani I made an appointment yesterday about an urgent manner, they asked for a referral from my GP. We said that we needed to see a specific specialist; I went into the office & they said I needed to change my primary care doctor in order to be seen. This was not elaborated, discussed or anything of the sort; the woman there was rude. This place is a money grab & it doesn’t seem like they care too much about their patients, they care more about the dollar. Sad to see, but there are other doctors with a more respectable & reputable staff within a 15 mile radius. Stay very far away.
