Bousso Mbaye Conifer Park is one of the best rehabs I have ever been to. The staff are attentive and helpful, they work hard to anticipate my needs and follow through on them. I would recommend this place to anyone struggling with addiction because it is a safe and clean place to recover; the groups are on point and the amenities are really lovely. The security guards make me feel safe and they are kind to me. They get me everything I need.

Keisha B This is my first time inpatient after doing five years outpatient, and my experience has been a pretty good one. The staff here are real and caring. Theres time to rest and time to learn and understand more about your addiction and mental health and how to make it through life in a healthy way. You truly get what you put into your recovery, so if youre ready to live a sober and better life, this is the place.

Lily Morrighan As Social Worker part of the Outreach Team with Catholic Charities Care Coordination Services, I have had the pleasure of working with Brandi Clicquennoi of Conifer Park on multiple occasions. She is always willing to work quickly and efficiently with us as participants are ready to enter treatment. She is both very kind and competent, the perfect combo. My team and I are grateful for her reliability and dedication!

Maria Murphy Completed 28 days here recently and am thankful for getting myself back & being sober again! Sure, it could use more structure, more staff, etc., but the staff was always helpful & nice, and the building was clean for being such an old place.

Jeanette Alvarez One day I received a call from Brandi Clicquennoi, the regional service coordinator for the Albany area requesting a meet and greet. Well.... OMG Conifer Park has hit it on the nail with this young lady. She represented the agency and sold me to begin making referrals again. She has been an intricate part of our referral recommendations to conifer park, because she gets things done. She keeps us in the loop with our clients and also keeps in touch when we are in need of anything. Hope Conifer ark keeps her on board for years to come. Brandi you are A1 in our office at Albany County Felony Treatment Court.

Elizabeth Bezio I went to the ER for abdominal pain. I waited in the waiting room for 3 hours before I was seen, which was not fun. But, when they called me in to be seen I had a very good experience. Peter Evola PA, was very professional and caring. He checked in on me and explained everything in detail that was going on. My Nurse Jodi went way beyond her job to make me comfortable. She was very informative and caring. I am on the road to recovery.

Kirby Lennox Something seriously needs to be done about this hospitals emergency room. It is AWFUL. The wait times are outrageous and you can’t even feel safe in the waiting room honestly. The only “nice” worker was the registration woman who verified my info. This is sad. Why do people go into the healthcare field if they are rude and miserable? People are scared and vulnerable and they get treated like crap. Something really needs to be done about this I don’t understand how it hasn’t been yet. Every time I go there it just gets worse and worse. Who is in charge of all of this? You should be ashamed of yourselves.

WatsoNoah Every time I come in I get 0 results. Customer service is great and thats their point. they have always said everything is fine even after I was sent flying by a car and i was clearly concussed. I swear they take their hours of time to make you just want to leave. Then they give you 0 info on whats going on they just say take iv and our drugs so we can bill you through the roof. Btw I have a inch gash in my head they didnt stop to look at even though my head was covered in blood they just wanted to throw me in for all the billables really quick so they can snag $ told them where the pain was and they did every other place for their xrays if you can make it to Ellis hospital do youself a favor and go there.

George B Update: Saratoga Hospital Group Urology is run poorly and since that first telephone call with a rude Grandma receptionist, I decided to see caring competent world class Urology Dept at Mt Sinai Hospital in NYC instead who quickly arranged for the necessary procedures to be performed per my Radiation Oncologist. Had I waited to get into Saratoga to see Urologists perhaps my cancer would have advance even faster. Dont wastes your time with this group at Saratoga Hospital if you have prostate cancer. They are small minded country yokels that run an operation that can be deadly to your health. Tried making an appointment by phone to see a urologist -the rude receptionist probably loses more patients to competitor dr groups. She wasnt going to-even look at her groups calendar without sending my full medical records -what a piece of work- unprofessional and knew nothing about my past prostate issues. Go somewhere where they have trained medical staff not Grandma being paid minimum wages to ask about whats wrong with your penis? The experience was outrageous and shocking?

Joanne Fazioli Husband in severe pain for 8ML kidney stone. Office visit on Friday was told the best they could do was schedule surgery for Tuesday. Called Monday for surgery time - left voice mail. When they called THEY SAID EARLIEST OPENING WAS THURSDAY. They lied on Friday and he now is trying to stretch the few pain meds left. Horrendous care - lied and miscommunication on Thursday Urgent Care affiliated unit who set up the Friday appointment supposedly with the surgeon but was a Physician Assistant who wondered what we were doing there!

Katie Barron Recently, our 52 year old Down Syndrome son, John, upon awakening, experienced blood and blood clots in his urine. Our Broadalbin primary provider, at our request, referred us to Saratoga Hospital Medical Group - Urology. We were referred on a Thursday and immediately granted an appointment the following Monday! Our son was seen by Sandra Hermans, FNP. We had a wonderful meeting with Ms. Hermans, or Sandy as she is called, who spent close to an hour with us. Sher first, carefully detailed the possible reasons for Johns bloody urine from simple to serious. She then explained, in detail, possible treatments ranging from least to most aggressive, carefully answering our questions about each. As a result of Sandys help we were able to select a course of action that seems most appropriate for our son and with which we are quite comfortable. We were greatly impressed by Sandys knowledge and expertise. Equally important was her gentleness with our son and her kindness and compassion. Following the appointment, as we returned home, our son said "I liked her." High praise indeed! In summary, we recommend, most highly, the Saratoga Hospital Medical Urology Group and Sandy Hermans to anyone seeking urological care. We are delighted to have found them and her. Assuming that Sandy Hermans is representative of the practice, Saratoga Hospital and the Group itself can and should feel justly proud.

maria maria They transfer you and transfer you to different people as if no one wants to do their job! Everyone who’s answered the phone sounds extremely ghetto and like they hate their job. They hung up on me twice and when I finally got through they had me on hold for over 30 minutes I had to hang up and call again and demand! That they get me through to my mother. The nurse taking care of my mother shows no sympathy! She acts like she’s here to do her “job” knows the system but shows no geneuine care for the patient. I’m really disappointed with their treatment. We asked for my mother to be rotated to avoid ulsers from laying in the same position for so long and the nurse said “it gets so busy” that we can’t always do it every 2 hours as it’s supposed to and didn’t even do it. I then told a different nurse and she acted on it immediately. A few hours Later we asked for her to be rotated again and the new nurse asked for us to leave the room, we asked her why?! When they have been rotating her infront of us every time. After the nurse asked us to leave the room she came and got us from the waiting room. I asked my mother how was their treatment and she made a frowning face as if she was not happy! I do NOT like this hospital!!! I swear I wish i could get her out of here and into a better hospital but I live all the way in Florida and came down to see my mother for 3 days being that I have to go back to work in Orlando Florida. This hospitals treatmemt is totally unacceptable! The 2 nurses names are Hanna and robin in ICU... they need to be retrained on how to properly deal with patients and their families! Absolutely NOT HAPPY.

One was closed, the 2nd was closed, the 3rd was closed and the 4th had a sign that said something like ‘pay now’ but this window had no one to accept any payment. I guess, when you have an emergency & no where else to go, you go nowhere. Well done NY. You would have opened for twump if he had a hangnail…

Cristy Potato this place killed my grandmother then tried covering it up my grandmother was sent her last year after discovering an infection in her kidney. after being bounced around back and forth to here and Cooperstown they decided to keep her at their rehab facility where they neglected her by barely treating her infection and doing everything they could to convince her insurance to kick her out stating she was fine and healthy despite the obvious fact she couldnt walk anymore and was in severe pain. they later sent her to a nursing home where she died hours later. autopsy report showed she still had the kidney infection despite the hospital saying they treated it but the report also showed she had late stage wet gangrene caused by the kidney infection witch in turned caused her heart to fail. hospital lied on their records saying they found no gangrene and that she was in better condition then she actually was Womans Choice Awards gave these guys an award for being on of the best hospitals in New York basing their choice on nit picked reviews ignoring the overwhelmingly negative reviews

Barbara Thornton I took my husband to the ED a few weeks ago as he was having difficulty breathing. He was there almost an hour. Then told him there wasn’t anything they could do and if he didn’t feel better in the morning to call his primary who didn’t help him in the past. Anyway to make it short,,my husband died. Ur ED did nothing to help him. His name is Warren W Thornton. Do u send ur Cooperstown rejects to Cobleskill?

BOTB Gaming and More! I arrived with my spouse around 2 PM, and its now 10 PM with no answers. I called the ER staff using the proper phone number. When I asked Nurse Curtis (or Kurt) about my spouses status, he simply said, "I dont know," followed by a long pause before ending the call. I dont know what kind of hospital, medical staff, or company Bassett is, but as a hospital, I highly recommend going elsewhere unless you dont value your time, medical, or mental health. This hospital and most of the staff are grossly understaffed. The nurses walk around complaining and speaking disparagingly while youre in their care, hoping you get that one decent nurse. After a CAT scan was performed, we waited over two more hours for results, only to be told they found nothing. However, the portal we are linked to showed another finding. It was small and maybe not related to last nights situation, but it could be. They did not mention this finding to my spouse. I brought it up in front of both the nurse and the doctor, and they both said they saw the finding but didnt "feel" it was responsible. They also told us it wouldnt be worth our time to go to Albany Med because they might not find or do anything different. All this happens while the seasoned nurses, who have devoted their lives to the cause, are overworked and understaffed. Theyve hired on-call nurses who seem to care only about a paycheck. I heard disparaging remarks from the staff last night about the poor state of the company and business conditions. Meanwhile, my spouse was vomiting violently and pleading for help. As my young son stated, "I felt like they were detaining us to make it look like theyre working, and to bill for medical work" This is only an almost 11 year old. The Dr tried to justify the hospital by stating they bring all their family to Bassett. Im sure they do since they work and practically live in the facilities and can watch with a close needle like precision the status of their family. But that appears to be where the "CARE" ends, if you are NOT family of Bassett in at least Cobleskill, dont bother acting like you matter their. They just need to bill the insurance companies and keep getting donations and handouts from "Anonymous" donators.

Blanca Perez I switched over from Albany Med for my last few months of pregnancy to have a doctor a bit closer in which time everyone was so nice, supportive, helpful. I loved my primary and how great the staff was to me. After I gave birth in August things completely went 180. During my last appointment I waited over 30 minutes in the waiting room and then another 50 in the room to see my doctor all to have the nurses call me while in the room because they forgot about me. Doctor then saw me for maybe 5 minutes and forgot to give me a flu shot and paper work. To this day I’m still chasing them around trying to get all my referrals. Getting an appointment with my primary is a disaster. I’m looking for a a new doctor.

Allaura Barrett I dont typically leave reviews, but this place is exceptionally bad. I showed up on time but there was a line out the door, and didnt get to check in until 20 mins later - the receptionist gave me an attitude but saw I was there on time, so she called my Dr to let her know I was there and they argued on the phone about it. I didnt have access to previous medical history because I didnt have the privilege of access to Healthcare for many years (something youd think theyd understand, especially in Schenectady). The doctor was understanding and told me to put no providers on my paper, but on the way out the nurse saw this and was terribly rude to me for no reason. I tried to explain my situation and she cut me off and told me there was nothing the practice could do for me until I figured it out. The doctor also.told me that the knee problems I have dealt with for the past 7 years is because I weigh too much and probably dont exercise enough, or Im dehydrated- all without even bothering to so much as look at my knees at all. Mind you, I used to be no more than 130 lbs, and very recently gained weight but Im honestly not that heavy now. Not only that but I explained that I exercise every day. Im seriouy considering never going back.

Kelsey Ball While the staff at this facility were friendly and fast, my issue is with the way they bill. We specifically went here because this urgent care was in network according to our plan, however we found out after the fact when we received a bill that they utilize physicians from an agency that was OUT of network and we now owe for a visit that should of been fully covered. The outside agency states that this was somewhere on the paperwork signed at the visit but this facility should make it very clear and explain that this the way they practice.

Kimberly Tiffault I walked in behind a woman for routine blood work. Another receptionist sat while the other receptionist spent 15 minutes signing in the other patient. I took a number when I walked in. After waiting 45 minutes they called a male patient waiting 10 minutes. I was told they have three people doing blood draw. What is the point of taking a number when your number is not called. I will not go back to this location.

Kevin Ward Will never return to this hospital unless drag my dying body there. They changed from a "Urgent" Care to "Emergent" Care which apparently allows them to charge outrageous rates. Took my son there with a broken arm, they performed an X-ray and merely rapped his arm. Telling us to go to OrthoNY the next day to get a caste. They did not tell us to schedule an appointment with OrthoNY. Which resulted in getting charged again for an urgent care visit the very next day with no Doctors on site. We had to schedule a third appointment in three days to see a doctor. Based on their incompetency and inability to properly serve their customer it requires my 7 year old son 3 visits to the doctors over something that could have been handled seamlessly in one visit with far less charges. They are financial vampires only seeking bottom line and have no care for their patients. Sadly they arent alone in the healthcare world.

James DeLong Their billing department is terrible. My insurances EOB of what I owe and what Ive already paid match. Ellis insists I still owe them money. Ive received this bill multiple times. The first time their office said I owed nothing and it would be cleared. I received multiple bills after that. Since then they switched to only accepting phone calls. Can you guess what happens when you call? The wait times are longer than normal, so you get to sit on hold for 15+ minutes. Theyre not very helpful once you get to speak to someone.

Carleigh H. As a longtime Ellis patient, I’ve been going to this practice for 5 years. This practice deserves an award for the worst, most unhelpful staff. I know at least 7 people who have had the same awful experiences here. The front desk staff, for the entire duration I’ve been going here, has been rude and insufferable. Time and time again, for years on end, it takes over a month of begging and constant calling to get prescriptions filled. They also force you into appointments you don’t need (other than a yearly physical) to get a script filled that they know you’ve been on for years. If you don’t go to those predatory appointments for your insurance money, they deny your script that the doctors know you’ve need. I’ve never had that happen at any other primary practice. They consistently refuse to become efficient for medication requests. I despise that I’ve even been going here for so long when there are so many other reputable practices that can actually treat you with respect and care. Do yourself a favor and please go somewhere else if your insurance will allow. Ellis medicine has gone completely downhill in the last 5-7 years.

laurel barnes The doctor that I thought I liked neglected my five messages. I now have RA in my hands and trying to find out anything from this place is like pulling teeth. If this doctor thinks she’s gonna be a real doctor she better find some compassion and actually start to care. If I could give 0 stars I would. It takes 5 minutes to call a patient and let them know what is wrong with them. 5 minutes. Or is that too much for a patient to ask their doctor to do for them.

LISA LO The doctors are good and the operators are nice and helpful. But the office staff? Doesnt seem to have good communication. Another glitch here! I came with a friend to pick up an X-ray at 7:30 am because the operator had told me that we could arrive at that early time to pick up the image. But of course..they were not open. I knocked on the door but the receptionist told us that she could see us until 7:50 am, which was too late because we had to go far to the specialist. Its not the first time either. I arrived to pick up the physical form and vaccinations for your son a while ago and they were not ready as they said. If you have government insurance, come live in Albany or Troy or Latham. There are more doctors who accept government insurance

Lisa Karandy By far the worst facility. They are abusive, negligent with care and nurse was unprofessional and rude to family. Stay away from this facility. My mother didnt receive a breathing treatment for 13 hours and it is scheduled for every 3 hours, she could hardly breathe. She was told the medication was locked up and no one had access so she couldn’t have a nebulizer treatment. The Aide told her to pee herself and would be back in a few hours to clean her! She is on 5 liters of oxygen 24/7 the aide wanted to take it off and walk her to the bathroom, which she was not able to do. I had to call an ambulance to take her back to the hospital. Absolutely terrible care.

Jordan Rakoske DO NOT send your loved ones here!!!!! The neglect in this facility is absolutely unacceptable. Medications are missed, hygiene is ignored, and the place is severely understaffed with a lack of qualified professionals. Residents are left sitting in soiled clothes for hours, sometimes changed only once or twice a day. The leadership here is a disgrace and should be replaced immediately with people who actually prioritize patient care over simply filling beds. Communication is nonexistent, and unless you can be present 24/7, your loved one may be left unattended in a wheelchair for hours. While a few staff members genuinely care, the management is beyond incompetent. If you care about your loved one’s well-being, look elsewhere!

Bee H After a fall in her home, my MIL was sent to Baptist. After speaking with with doctors and specialists at the hospital, the plan was for her to go to BH until we could make arrangements for her to go to an assisted living facility. It was deemed by her family, her PCP, the social workers and the geriatric specialist at the hospital that it was no longer safe for her to live alone. Baptist was an absolute nightmare of bone-chilling proportions. Once they had her, they changed plan against our wishes. They took advantage of her dementia, refused to allow us (her only son) to take her out of their facility and transfer her to one closer to us and even tried to revoke his POA, which had been signed and established YEARS ago. I wish someone had warned us... Baptist, in my opinion and based on our experience, is as bad as it gets.

Fiorella Rojas I will rate this place with a 0 if possible. This place is just inhumane. I don’t understand how the administration does not handle all the mess that happens there. My father in law has infected bed sores from being so much time in bed and with a dirty diaper. It’s absolutely heartbreaking the way that people is treat in this place. This place needs a refresh in all the departments, re- think the vision and the why people are there. We all are going down the same path, and no one deserves (or wants) to be treated like the staff and administration are treating their patients in this nursing home (AKA jail home).
1 /5
Erica Crocetto It’s so sad the way they treat their patients. They don’t give them their meds on time, they let them sit in their own urine and feces for hours on hours, they will ignore the call button, I heard a nurse scream at a patient for opening the door and she started crying. It’s such a shame this place is still open I don’t know how the state allows such mistreatment on our seniors & every time we spoke up for her my grandmother said it got worse and the way she was treated kept getting worse. Don’t leave your loved one here.

Kaylie Behan I was brought in late last night suffering from a severe asthma attack along with an underlying respiratory illness. I have never experienced such a caring and helpful ER visit with a team so determined to making me feel safe and better. Ellis Family Practice Associates

(9) Reviews Ellis Family Practice Associates:

Kristen Rosa In my 38 years, I have never walked out on a medical appointment. I had such a miserable experience this morning with Dr. Sushma Prathipati that I left and will never go back. I’ve been chronically ill for years and unfortunately am on several medications to manage my symptoms. It has taken me a considerable amount of time to get on a regimen that allows me to live a semblance of a life. Dr. Prathipati questioned nearly all of my medications. She was also insulting my intelligence, by asking if I knew all of the side effects of my medications. Yes, I am aware of them. I’m also aware that any POTENTIAL side effects are outweighed by the benefits of said medications. She said, “You might have some doctors who will give you whatever you want, but that’s not how we do things here.” Dr. Prathipati made it crystal clear that if I were a patient of hers, she would deny me medications that keep me from suffering every day. “First do no harm,” right? Apparently not for her. Her bedside manner was atrocious. She should find another line of work. edit: I just had the opportunity to review my chart and the “good doctor’s” notes. First of all, she made it sound as if she only questioned me on one of my medications, when she basically questioned every single one, and made snarky remarks about all of them. Not only that, but I made it crystal clear as to why I was originally prescribed one of my long-term medications, which was NOT the reason that she put in her notes. Instead, she made up her own diagnosis: one that no other doctor has given me since I’ve been prescribed said medication. And to no one’s great surprise, she didn’t make any notes on all of the rude remarks she made. Maybe she doesn’t find them relevant, but I do. I will be filing an official complaint with the hospital regarding her lack of professionalism (among other things).

Annie Jeong This has to be the worst doctors office Ive ever attended. First, all the doctors are residents in training--most are DOs and not MDs. And theyre basically learning to have bad family medicine practices, i.e., long call hold and wait times, dont ever call back patients who call them, understaff the office so patients dont get their questions answered. Second, they provide misinformation regarding treatment options. Recommended I get a vaccine because the treatment was recommended for my age group and it would reduce my risks of certain kinds of cancer. Both of those statements were false, so I ended up getting one of 2 shots of some vaccine that wasnt even for me and had terrible side effects. I called the doctors office multiple times about this, after Id received a bill for over $500, and didnt get a response. When I finally threatened to notify the health department and send complaints about the supervising attorneys, I received a response from the "doctor" (resident, not the actual supervising physician), that she was very sorry and that the amount would be taken off my bill. For 6 months, I received bills from the office that I owed them for my shot, and every time I called the office, I was told that I had to speak with billing and then billing said I had to speak with the drs office. Back and forth each month, and when I finally thought the issue was resolved, I get a letter from a collection law firm stating that I hadnt paid the bill. At that point, I was livid. I called the office and sent letters to each of the physicians stating that I would notify the insurance company, the department of health and the department of insurance regarding their nefarious practices. I was assured by the receptionist that I would receive a call back. But of course, I did not. Instead, the bill was simply removed and I never received an apology. As a lawyer, I spent the time to deal with this because it infuriated me that this is how their practice is run, but Im sure that most patients would just give up and pay the bill out of fear of being sent to collections. Ellis Family Medicine should be ashamed of their methods. Im still planning to notify the applicable regulatory agencies requesting that their payment and insurance practices be audited.

Cynthia Markle Feel so frustrated. Too many things have happened. Horrible office to get anything accomplished. Need a new primary. Going to ask around. I spent an hour waiting for a scan today. They never sent my script even though i asked a week ago. Had to reschedule.

Tamesh Suedass This place is badly managed. on three different occasions I show up for my appointment and I was told there was no appointment for me. I showed Sam the business card and he admitted that it’s his handwriting. but still claim there is no appointment for me. I asked to speak with a supervisor as usual there’s no supervisor on duty. After four days trying to get to a supervisor. The supervisor doesn’t acknowledge that there is a problem. I explained my concern that I have to take time off from work and she doesn’t seems to care. She offer me another appointment which is ridiculous and it’s only shows how selfish are naive management can be. I hope someone in upper management see this review and contact me, but again it may never happen because this is ELLIS they don’t care

Feiona Feiona Do not go to this place! Your doctor will keep changing!!! You will see the doctor 10 times for an allergy medicine if you need one . And you see a different doctor each time. They are professional, and could care less about you. They always make up excuses and trying to push pills. You will get nothing from your visit I promise you !! If I could give them a negative star I would .
