Priya This is my first time at this location as I brought my spouse here since Dr. K treated him when he was hospitalized last week. We came to this office for the followup visits. We came in 30 minutes ahead. We waited over an 1.5 hour. It seems they overbook appointments with Dr. K and the manager said they do this all the time. I spoke to few other patients and their experiences here has been the same. While they say Dr. K is good, his wait time is horrible. Personally, overbooking and making patients wait for a long time is questionable practice.
Another things that seemed very fishy, possible suspect for discrimination and unethical behavior was when they were taking in some patients who came in later to see maybe Dr. K before some patients there earlier.
I personally never had this experience as I have been patient at mount Sinai over 20 years. They don’t overbook. The wait time is under 20 minutes.
There is something seriously flawed with administration ( how they run this office)
Hope this helps the readers thinking to visit this location. Hopefully the administration improves overbooking issue and queuing and taking in people in fair manner regardless of one’s race.

Jo Ann Bullard This is part one of the review:
I had a scheduled appointment on 1/12/23, to see my gastroenterologist, Dr. Tsai. My husband and I arrived at 12:20 pm for my 12:40 pm appointment. I walked up to the front desk and went to the first window thats located on the left side of the office and attempted to check for my appointment, when I gave my name to the white female with long dark brown hair at the very first window, she asked me if I had a referral, and I told her I didnt have a referral, didnt know that I needed one, she then asked me with a nasty tone, when was the last time you saw Dr. Tsai, I responded that I her saw back in 2021 when she was her office in Eastchester. This white female proceeded to scold me by telling, me that it is my responsibility to know that referrals only last 6 months, and also my responsibility to obtain the referrals. I told this nasty white female employee that I wasnt notified that I needed a referral when I saw my PCP in Nov 2022, or when I made the appointment on the Connect Patient Portal. I wasnt notified by anyone in Dr. Tsais office, that I needed a referral. I asked her if she could please call my PCP office to request for a referral, she stated to me very nastily, "No because I have to answer the phone, and thats not my job." I told her I shouldnt be penalized for not having a referral when I wasnt aware that I needed one, she ignored what I said, and at that point I decided to call my PCP office to have the referral sent over. While I was outside in the corridor attempting to contact my PCP for the referral which took me over 20 minutes to find someone that knew what they were talking about, my husband went back inside the office to see if he could assist me with this issue. My husband went back into the office and attempted to speak to the same white female that I spoke to regarding my referral. My husband asked the same woman, " What seems to be the problem with my wife, why cant see Dr. Tsai, she responded because she needs a referral. My husband responded, shes not a new patient to Dr. Tsai, shes seen her before, and she responded that is the procedure, so my husband asked her why cant you call up her PCP Dr. Dow to get the referral? She responded, "Well I cant", and my husband said " What do you mean you cant, youre not doing anything. She then got up from her desk and proceeded to walk to the back of the office to speak to other women, she then came back with a short woman with her pulled back in a ponytail, and she asked what seems to be the problem? My husband responded this woman doesnt want to help my wife with getting a referral, being very nasty to her. The short woman said, " You have to forgive her she doesnt feel well", my husband said " Well send her home, there are other women of all shapes and sizes that could do her job.
