Aqua Lane Park - Tonawanda Town (NY)

4 /5 Crystal Fudalik: Lovely little gem! Beautiful views, plenty of picnic tables, bathroom, playground, informative signs and two binoculars. I look forward to more picnics there! Just beware of a wasp nest in the ground and strong dead fish smell among the rocks.

5 /5 Vanessa Nyckole: I watched the solar eclispe there & let me tell you, it was the most beautiful thing Ive ever seent! This is a nice park. You can rent a boat for the whole day for $500. Thats on river road but just putting that out there!

4 /5 Hex Kleinmartin: Aqua Lane Park is part of the chain of riverside parks along the Niagara River. On the other side of the Water Treatment Plant (dont worry, no bad smells) from the boat launch, this Park is bigger than one might think. There are some flat, open, grassy areas, treed areas, a playground, and picnic tables scattered about. The rivers edge is made up of large limestone blocks, and you can overlook one of the widest areas of the river here, as this is where the river splits to go around Grand Island. Its easy to watch for bald eagles on Strawberry Island, or just watch the boats go by. There is a walkway along the river side of the Treatment Plant, and you can get right to the boat launch along this route. Also, just up by the 190 is the bike path that connects to the Buffalo section to the south, or heads towards Tonawanda to the north.
