It has a lot of open space, trees, and walking paths — perfect for relaxing, spending time with family, or just enjoying nature. In the winter, the splash pad turns into an ice skating rink, which is really nice for the community. Its a historic and important park named after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and its a great spot for both fun and reflection. I really enjoy visiting this park.

A wonderful space and it never disappoints and so many folks can get together and have a great time the African-American cultural center sponsors and supports this annual event the first two weekends of August.
