4 /5 Katie Stout: Dr. Dator has always treated me like a human being. On my first visit, instead of prescribing antidepressants or anti-anxiety medication when I discussed being fatigued and down, she asked me questions about my life and suggested blood work first to see if I had any vitamin deficiencies. It was a huge relief, and she has helped me help myself for several years since. She is not interested in treating people who are not helping themselves, i. e., she does not see people who smoke cigarettes because theres not much she can do if the patient is destroying their health with poor choices. I like her professional standards. She is a no BS kind of doctor. The reason for four stars instead of five is that her front desk staff, though kind, messes up paperwork and doesnt return phone calls sometimes. Im not the Queen of England though and I realize mistakes can happen. They fix any mistakes when I bring them to their attention. Dr. Dator is open to alternative/holistic treatments and is supportive of positive changes on the patient end--she is always happy to fill out the necessary paperwork I need for my HSA account to pay for yoga, orthopedic massage, gym memberships, etc. for pain and stress management. No coddling in this office, but definitely treated with respect.
