Serena Salinas I recently had a great experience with this beauty salon, I got my brows waxed. All the staff was incredibly friendly and professional , and the salon itself was clean and welcoming.

Dude Freedom! Been going to Susy since I was a little kid with my grandma, very professional and family oriented environment. She always does a good job!

Veronica Garza Warning: DO NOT BUY A GIFT CARD from this place. Wow...okay I never leave reviews, but this experience warrants me speaking up. If you work there or own this business, I hope you take note and make some changes. I only went because I received a $80 gift card from my husband. I paid for a Shellac pedicure and the receptionist says it is $40 for the pedicure spa plus $15 more for shellac. I hand her my gift card. I step out to get cash from my car to tip the nail tech. I step back in the spa and ask the receptionist what my total was she said $57.00. I then asked her what the balance was on the gift card and she tells me the card only had $57.00 and she kept the gift card. I thought that is strange...so I call my husband and ask him how much he purchased the gift card for and he said $80. I go back in and advise the receptionist that the gift card had $80. She then tries to explain that the way their system is set up that there is no way of her knowing what the balance is on the gift card. I thought that was very weird. She then asked “how much did you say was in the gift card” and I said $80 she then hands me the gift card and says so then your balance is $23. I thought that was extremely shady. If she needed $23.I would of just given them to her. Extremely poor reflection on the spa and nail tech as well. By the way I do have to mention that Mona, the nail tech did an awesome job!

Clarissa Longoria Went to a lady named Brenda for highlights and wanted to darken my hair to my natural brunette color. Brenda did not listen to my request and insisted I get a balayage. I am now half blonde and have very heavy blonde highlights that do not blend with my natural color at all. Would not recommend if you want to go darker.

Elyy D Booked several appointments and got quoted a ridiculously high price. Nevertheless I was willing to pay, other treatments were pending quote so I left additional money plus deposits . The ladies that took care of us were rude and had ZERO patience. Makeup came out meh.... hairdo looked a tangled mess. I guess they were in a hurry. My total ended up being less than what I had prepaid and they wanted to keep the rest. Even though I had overpaid when I left the deposit. Had to ask for my refund and they wanted to credit me for future services. (Maybe if they had been nice about it, but the lady was very rude) Its a beautiful salon, but the service is not worth what they charge. Will prob not go there again because Im sad about the way they handled things.

Lisa Demcho Great experience here! Irma cut and colored my hair, and waxed my eyebrows. She had put my color mix into their computer the last time I had my hair colored and it came out perfect today. My eyebrows also look great! Boca Chica is the main corporate branch and they have the most colors to choose from if you want a fresh look for winter. Go in and ask for Irma!

Vivian G Not bad. I needed to get a haircut to take off my split ends, which was accomplished. Hair looks fine, but I asked for a wash, cut and style and that did not happen. I’m not sure if they don’t offer that and just didn’t tell me or if there was a miscommunication, but either way.

Been a customer for years but I think its time to look somewhere else. Dont feel like they appreciate our business.

Eight Ball Asked the worker lady for a layered haircut and ended up with an absolutely choppy mess...should have taken her sweeping all the hair on the floor towards us without apologizing or excusing herself as a red flag. Would not recommend.

The bad review sounds like someone thats being paid to do reviews and didnt get paid to do this one. Very unprofessional? How? No one was at the salon and thats why no one came to the door and also hours arent posted so dont expect someone to answer if no one is there and you dont have an appointment. If you had an appointment I could understand how you could say unreliable service... You and your friend didnt. Go back to Master Cuts...

The reason I’m giving two stars is because as soon as I walked in the barber wasn’t wearing a mask during a pandemic and didnt sanitize his hands, I hope he washed them before I was there. Like I said, the haircut was decent, and the barber at least respectfully put a mask on when I asked him to. Just please wear one at all times

Hieya Dude gave me a high fade when I asked for a medium fade. I could feel him keep fixing his mistakes and keep pushing the fade up.

Lindsey Patterson I started going with Lilo in August and she’s been amazing with my 2 year old. I highly recommend her for children, she has a lot of patience and knows exactly how to keep children calm during the process. 10/10! The shop has a very positive vibe and happy environment to it. Will definitely be making this my sons lifetime shop.

Carcajou Been coming here for years and setting up an appointment is such a hassle. The online booking system doesnt even work and whenever I do set one up, theres no one who acknowledges you when you walk in to confirm or to even set one up. Ive noticed 3 of my favorite hairdressers dont even work here anymore over the years Ive been coming and Im beyond grateful theyve given me their personal info to follow them.

Isabel Rodriguez I received service from Claudia. Shes my go-to for my brows and today went in for a facial. The environment is so tranquil and she does a hand massage while the mask does its wonders. Definitely recommended and her services are very affordable.

Sylvia Garcia I made an appointment with Laura since last week for today at 4:00 PM. She texted me to confirm, and I called yesterday to ask about guidelines and customers and she told me she had only scheduled two customers: one at 11:00 y one @ 4:00. I called twice before I arrived but she didn’t answered. I even texted her and she didn’t respond When I arrived at 2 minutes before 4. She was coloring another customer, told me that she was very busy, that if I wanted to wait. If she had answered my calls or texts, I would have rescheduled. I left. She was very unprofessional and rude.

X I only go with owner "Conchita"! She has corrected others errors when my kids dont go with her. Im sure there are some good ones also but Id rather not get a bad cut!

Ruth Lopez I was a bit skeptical about this place after reading some of the 1 star reviews. The wait time was none, I showed Conchita (the lady that cut my grammas hair) a picture of what she wanted, and she cut her hair just like that, great customer service, very in expensive. Gramma got a haircut, hair wash and blow dry under 20 bucks. This is now her go-to salon.

Elaine janelle I asked for long layers... I had long hair and came out with hair shoulder length with at least 5 different size layers and the shortest layer being by my ears. There was no way of fixing this but going else where and being told I had to cut it all off and yet was still not enough to fix it.

The reason why Im giving it a 3 is because the ONLY time I decided to cut my hair here the lady named Elizabeth kept complaining and criticizing my hair. She kept going on and on complaining that my hair was too long, too thick,I had too much hair and saying over and over that she would reject me if I ever asked her to color my hair. I had to stop her and tell her that she was welcome to call someone else if she did not want to do my hair cut and that I was NOT asking her to color my hair, I just wanted to trim my split ends!!!... She made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I will definitely still take my son but I will never have anything done for myself there again. UPDATE: I gave it another try for myself and they left my hair uneven...look at the picture...words are not needed.
