Janine Harrison Great experience at Soho Salon! Millie did my lashes and she did amazing job. She was really patient and explained the process and her technique. Cassidy did a great job on my color. I was concerned about losing shine with my color. Cassidy was a good listener and she absolutely executed! So excited that I found this gem and cant wait to go back!

anonymous The stylist was super nice but unfortunately the results of my hair were not the same. When I left the salon, my hair didn’t really look styled, it just looked tangled and a little messy. Hair wasn’t fully dried when she started “curling” it. My hair felt a little damp when I was leaving and got to my car. After I got home, there was still so much hair dye on my head and a few spots on my face, which I then realized left a stain on a pillow I have. I had to immediately go wash my hair and rinse out all of the hair dye left in it, and style it myself. I don’t think I will be coming back but I just wanted to leave a review on my experience. I spent over $200 here and I think it was an outrageous amount to be paid just to receive those results in the end.

yogabear First time here. My mom was visiting and I thought a hair cut/color would be nice for her (its been a good minute since her last one). We were greeted upon entry, the employee was nice, kept my up-to-date with her progress, and was willing to listen to what my mom wanted. However, for $180 - the cut/color was not worth it. Aside from the color, i really couldnt tell that her hair was cut or styled at all. When it was time for her to leave the salon - her hair was still damp. Im not sure if this is how they do it nowadays in salons, but at my stylist - my hair is styled and dried before leaving. My stylist was unavailable during my moms visit, but I thought given the good reviews - its good to give them a try. Will probably not return.

Hannah Wilkinson I’ve been going to Tina at Salon LaPage for a couple of years and she’s the best! Amazing with bangs (no easy feat in my experience!), bobs, longer cuts, you name it. On top of being a very skilled stylist, she’s also such a sweet and fun person, so each visit feels like catching up with an old friend. I’ve also had cuts/bang trims with other stylists here (Emily, Ash, others) and have been in great hands each time! Can’t go wrong.

Kate Flum I just had a great experience getting my hair highlighted by Autumn. She was upfront about pricing and gave me exactly what I asked for. The environment of the salon is upbeat, teamwork-oriented, and they are *packed* on Friday evenings! Definitely the place to be.

It needed some love, some color, and for the love of god some moisture! Sonam Patel I have been going to Salon LaPage for years now and always get exceptional care. All the employees are super friendly. I have been seeing Alee for the past few years and she takes such great care of me each time. She noticed I wasn’t coming as often after my second child was born so she recommended an express color treatment for me that gave the same results in 45 minutes. Thanks to her I can keep up with coloring my hair despite being a busy mom of two kids. I always look forward to my sessions with her because I know I am always going to walk out happy with the end result.

But Ash worked her magic, completely transforming my hair and making me feel amazing! She’s not only incredibly skilled but also kind and attentive. H Jessica “Pinnkeylynn” Koko an her mom are so nice I think we stayed there an talked an hour after my hair was done. The after product was exactly what I asked for. Would be 5 starts but the hair dye only lasted one wash not even two weeks even the box dye lasts longer than that so not sure what happened there but other than that I absolutely loved it.

S A HEATHER is a truly talented stylist! I am new to the area and took a chance based on previous reviews. It had been 6 months sense my last color. Heather listen to my wishes and I cannot express how happy I am with her work!

Jessica Golias I love Courtney! She has been cutting my hair for 3 years now. I have never had a bad cut or color. She does amazing work! Shes very nice and personable. I havent had my hair cut by anyone else there, but I did see Heather color a girls hair today and it looked beautiful! Courtney loves what she does. She gets super excited when youre discussing your idea for your hair. I love her ingenuity and perkiness. Im sure this is why shes always booked and I schedule months in advance. The location of Kokos is so much better than the old location. Its open and has a very chill vibe. Everyone in the shop is friendly and greets you when you walk in. I recommend everyone I know come here!

Stephanie Davis I have very thick, very long hair that I cover my gray with red. I have been to many stylists who have no idea how to handle the amount of hair I have or struggle coloring red heads. Grace is the Triple Crown winner. Not only does she know how to cut and thin my hair out, if I want to tweak my red, she gets the color right everytime. Grace is kind and truly cares about her clients.

Cleyera Martin I love this place. Ive been dyeing my hair blue for three years now. Was using Manic Panic, but Im glad I switched to a professional salon that uses Pulp Riot. I wash with a special blue shampoo and in cold water, and my hair is always vibrant. I get compliments on it all the time, and people cant believe its been weeks since I last had it retouched. Bre is my stylist and does an absolutely amazing job. She cuts my hair so well that it almost always lies in place even if I havent washed it for a few days. I highly recommend getting a color and cut here.

Cammy I went in to get information about massage services, specifically for Staci with Perfected Touch. I’ve heard amazing things so I was definitely excited to have a new massage therapist! The front desk lady was very rude. She seemed annoyed with whoever walked in. She is definitely the reason Staci lost a customer. I highly suggest finding a new front desk person that is kind and more energetic!

Marcy Babcox I went for the first time today and was lucky to get Kim! Terrific shampoo haircut blow dry and style for $45. I’ll be back every 4 weeks! She did a terrific style! :)

Completely unprofessional manager.

Ida Loum-Kamara Had to fully pre-pay AND tip as requested to secure the appointment. Chose a 2pm slot because that worked for me as a customer. Salon gave no indication that the slot they posted as available was an inconvenience that would "split their day". Called at 2:18 to apologize explaining a wreck on 380 delayed us getting there, and to let her know that eta was 2:23. Couldnt call sooner coz i was on a crucial call... Id rather pay the $25 late fee. But was told she canceled the appt. Told us we could go in the next day Saturday at 0930. I was out of town by then but made plans for it to happen. The next morning we get a text at 0741 saying that appt would no longer be possible. That I should go online and book another. Did so on Saturday july 8 for Tuesday july 11. Scheduled the day off to be there. Late on Monday july 10 I get a notification that the appt was declined for "splitting her day". The chosen available time that worked for us would have her "wait hours like last time". It becomes the customers fault that no one books the hours available before the hours we chose. We are supposed to know that her clients are few and far between so we should have the courtesy of choosing the next available vs the option we really want. Seeing that her dubious scheduling antics are not explicit on her site Im for those of us who check here. The raving reviews on our community page do not match the businesswoman i dealt with. She kept the $138 (tip included) with no service provided but i was done making plans she would change just because she had the upper hand of holding my money hostage. Sharing so no else falls in the trap.

Sheila Taylor Ms. Tucker has done such a wonderful job with my daughters natural hair. She would cry when I would take her to other salons, but she was at ease at Beauties with Kinks and could not stop raving about her hair (a lot of it) and how much she liked it. What I appreciate the most about Ms. Tucker is her professionalism, patience, and her ability to make her customers will feel at ease in the process. Thank you for making McKenzie look and FEEL beautiful. She loves coming to your salon.

Stefani Smith Kendra is so very talented and skilled. In the last 6yrs, she has never disappointed when it comes to doing my girls’ braids nor my own. She’s so great with little ones. I have also taken a braiding class with her that was a game changer for us.

Mo Elzubeir i’ve been looking for a stylist who can work with my short hair to do cornrows for months before i found ms kendra. i’m new to this, but i was prepared to expect some discomfort and a scalp that cries in pain from the tension. ms kendra reminds me of nurses who draw your blood without you even realizing a needle just pierced through your skin and into a vein. i have needle phobia, so i am extra appreciative of those nurses. ms kendra has that same smooth touch. shes got butter fingers, yall! the tug on my scalp remained firm, but almost disappointingly pain-free. not only is she good at what she does, but loves doing it. you simply can’t go wrong with such a combination

Terrell Ashley “Taco” Tina is amazing at what she does! I was referred to her over 10 years ago and I still come here to get my hair done! Regardless of the distance I have to drive. The energy is ALWAYS a vibe here! They accommodate their guest well and are always nice and REAL!

Amber Harrod Despite all the best planning efforts of a wedding, sometimes things just don’t go as planned. We were so stressed out when, the night before the wedding, we had a cancellation that left the flower girl without someone to do her hair. Being from out of town we frantically hit up Google and, by grace, found Reflections. They got both of my girls in that night! Brandy was amazing! She was full of such great energy and very welcoming to my girls. They had a blast getting their hair done and looked absolutely beautiful when it was all done. Brandy hit exactly what the bride had requested! She even met us early on wedding day to make sure the flower girl’s hair held up overnight and provided touch ups for both girls to have them wedding ready. I’m so thankful we found Reflections, they truly went above and beyond!

Darlene Regnier I cant say enough about Reflections Hair Salon. Amazing atmosphere and all the ladies are so sweet and fun to be around! After a cancelation to have my granddaughters hair done somewhere else for a wedding, Brandy made arrangements for us to be able to bring the girls in at 8pm after the rehearsal dinner. She did an amazing job on both the girls! After staying late to make sure the girls were ready for the Wedding she also had us stop by at 8am for a final touch up. Thank you ladies for the hospitality and Brandy for all you did in such a last minute crunch!! We will definitely be bringing the girls back in next time they are in town.

She’s incredibly talented, fast, and truly listens to bring your vision to life—even making it better than you imagined! The salon has a great atmosphere, and the experience is always top-notch. Eshelman I want to give five stars, but I cannot. After my original stylist left, I moved to someone else. My first appointment with her was awesome!! But the second, not so much. She did not cut my hair as we discussed and instead of applying a glaze, she applied a toner. It was a color that had previously been applied, but it was not what I asked for and she left it on for too long. The next day I was informed that she had left the salon, so I don’t believe she cared about my appointment. Now I will wait for my hair to grow out, the toner to fade and move to a different salon.

Alicia Clark My appointment was with Tori. She’s an amazing stylist, very gifted at what she does. She is also very kind and we always have good conversations. I have been going to her for years after struggling to find someone that was able to deal with my hair. I highly recommend Captiva salon!

Brittanie Patella After Paying with installation over $4000 for Hair and install. One week after the hair was installed there were already major issues with the Hair We spoke with the stylist, let her know our issues She disregarded I went four weeks with Hair that looked awful. Hoping things would change when I got into her room again I once again told her the problems and the concerns. She was adamant that this was the best hair on the market and really pushed for us to purchase this brand, which was supposed to be wavy, but never ever waved. After going into that four week appointment. She was very confident that she would be able to fix the issues I was having with the Hair. The hair was always a mess. The photos I am providing our photos of me two hours after leaving her salon This is what my hair look like all the time. Please know that I go once every five days and have my hair, professionally washed and styled, I do not wash it myself, but I do fix it every single day. Hair is an investment and it should have you feeling confident especially if you have a good stylist who listens to you. This stylist does not. I walked around, looking like this for weeks when I should’ve just taken the hair out myself. She has since stated that we didn’t know how to take care of the hair and that is why it looks the way that it did. I have been wearing extensions on and off for 10 years. I would never use a stylist again, and I do not recommend her to anyone.

Tina Delpak I drive an hour each way just to get my hair done with Shera. She knows exactly what she is doing. I don’t even say anything when I get in her chair, she just knows. Dry bar compliments my haircut specifically every time I get my hair done there. She is an absolutely amazing hair stylist who has a wealth of knowledge about everything she is doing. I highly highly recommend!

Marci Wooldridge I cannot sing enough praise for Shera! She truly is an artist when it comes to hair. I have been going to Shera for almost two years now and it is one of the best choices I have ever made, and I will continue going to her for as long as she does hair. My faith in her is rooted in the fact that I have seen her work miracles when it comes to hair. Long story short I first found Shera in 2022 a month before my wedding. I was in dire need of someone that not only knew how to do hair but fix hair. When I first came to Shera I literally had the worst hair of my life. This was due to the fact that my former stylist had left me sitting in purple shampoo for 15 minutes, so not only did I have purple hair but I also had practically every shade of blonde possible plus some orange.Picture Kate Hudsons infamous blue hair moment in "Bride Wars" – that was me, on the brink of an emotional breakdown with terrible hair. But Shera took all that in stride and not only did she calm me down emotionally but she did a complete 180 with my hair. Every visit to Sheras is a testament to her artistry. Not only does she effortlessly enhance my blonde hair, but she also prioritizes the health and vitality of my hair. Each appointment leaves me feeling like a million bucks, thanks to Sheras impeccable technique and genuine care for her clients. She truly loves her clients. So do yourself a favor and book the appointment, I promise you wont regret it!

Shayda Daneshjou Shera has been cutting my hair for years and I have never once left unhappy. All of my friends and family go to her now. She has always gotten my hair to exactly what I wanted without compromising the health of my hair. Every time I go to dry bar, I get told how amazing my cut is. Shera makes you feel so comfortable and welcome in her chair. She is honest, noble and kind. There have been times where I’ve booked a more expensive service not knowing exactly what I needed and she has changed my service to the correct one which was significantly less in cost. She genuinely cares about her clients and I will be going to her until we are both old and gray!

Akhila Reddy I’m extremely disappointed with my haircut. There was no clear shape or structure to it—just a random cut that looks like something was done, but with no real thought or skill behind it. The whole thing took just 15 minutes, which feels like it shows in the end result. Its frustrating that they treated my hair this way. Definitely not what I expected.

ツTheo I don’t know who the guy was that cuts hair there is, but I got there to get a haircut and this man proceeded to mess my stuff up he left my right side longer than my left and left a little bald spot on my right side, he kept trying to fix it and left my right side raw from all the rubbing he was doing trying to fix it. At first when I got done and he payed it looked alright until I got home and payed attention to detail and realized he messed my hair up, he still had to nerve to ask me for a tip after he was done cutting my hair. I’ve gone to cut my hair here since I was 8 never seen this man before. But he apparently had “7 years experience” I noticed some signs like his eyes being a little red and him being displeased to be there No vayan a cortarse el pelo aqui, el vato que me corto el pelo de “7 años de experiensia” me lo dejo todo desanivelado y trasquilado, no se sabe si andava drogado o crudo, dejen que las mujeres corten el pelo. Dareion H I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your salon. I had high hopes for my first visit, as I had read so many great reviews about your establishment. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but positive. When I arrived, I was greeted by Frankie, who checked me in and led me to her chair. I explained that I was nervous, as I usually have my hair done by one person, but I was willing to give your salon a try. I also mentioned that my hair tangles easily and had brushed it out and braided it beforehand. Frankie proceeded to cut off my braids in one fell swoop, without any regard for the length or style I had requested. I was shocked but tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. However, as the haircut progressed, it became clear that Frankie had no idea what she was doing. She hacked away at my hair with no precision or care, grabbing chunks and cutting them off without measuring or consulting with me. The final result took less than 20 minutes and was a disaster. My hair is now uneven, with no discernible layers, and looks nothing like what I had asked for. I am devastated by the outcome and have received many negative comments from friends and family. I had hoped to become a regular customer at your salon, but after this experience, I cannot in good conscience return. I urge you to take my feedback seriously and ensure that your stylists are properly trained and capable of providing quality service to your clients.

Crystal Bivins Im very disappointed and heart broken to see how my daughter was treated during her service with Britney. She was excited to have the salon experience and donate 8-9 inches of her hair, and told me that same night it wasnt the cut like the photo and was deeply hurt. She expressed how it made her sad that the stylist didnt talk to her at all and that she said "did we just decide not to brush our hair today?" And "why do you keep moving so much?". Is this how she treats all her clients? I asked for tips on how to style at home and was given a vague "honestly anything works". The stylist knew she was donating her hair; there was no communication when she was going to start cutting, if my daughter liked the length, she wouldnt even look at the reference photo before she started cutting her hair. I should have listened to my gut and asked for a more professional stylist. After her service was done, she walked to check out, didnt even tell us we were done, then took my card and I had to ask her how much I was being charged today. No receipt, nothing. I am very disappointed. At first my daughter told me she loves it, then later that night was very upset and told me its nothing like the photo, theres no layers, no curls or waves, and shes worried kids will laugh at her new haircut. Shes 8. This was supposed to be a fun experience for her and I wish I could have taken her to someone who would have respected her and didnt make her feel degraded. I hope they set higher standards for their staff in the future.

Bonita Hestand I went here last week to get a haircut. Im elderly and my hair is pretty thick and it has some natural wave....I have had some really bad haircuts during my life and I get really anxious when Im getting someone new to do my hair. I am pleased to say Paolo did a really good job...shes young and very personable...she listened to what I wanted and followed through with a great haircut!!!!

Marnie Sadri Paola was fabulous; She made recommendations for the style after listening to what I needed from a haircut; Which shows confidence in her training (many stylists Are hesitant to make a recommendation, Ive heard several times from different stylists. "Well it depends on what you like," they would say, when I requested their professional opinion). Paola was intuitive, compassionate and skilled. She made me feel taken care of AND I left with an amazing haircut!

Trevor Baker Renee did an excellent job on my haircut! Im always nervous about letting someone besides me cut my hair, but now Ive found a great spot in Denton to come too when Im too lazy to cut it myself!

Lizbeth Puga Charged me $15 to wax my eyebrows, the lady did a terrible job even though i explained how i wanted them done. I extremely don’t recommend this place for eyebrow waxing! Any other places has better service and can do your eyebrows for $10! But the gentleman who did my son haircut did a great job!

Martha Tort Very unpleasant experience and dont recommend it for color. Went in and requested a light base color and baby lights and came out with a black base and terrible looking highlights. I told the girl who did the color that i did not like the dark base, and her response was, "It will fade and lighten as you wash it." I gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, the color never lightened and noticed a lot of imperfections with the highlights. You could tell where the foils had been placed and had a horrible orange color. I went back to request they fix it and had agreed to go back at a date and time convenient to me. The day i went back they greeted me with disrespect and raising their voice at me when all I did was be respectful and keep calm. They remedied their mistake by giving me a partial refund, as they should. I hope this review helps other avoid a scene like this and save their hair.
