Radiant Ask for Crystal she has been the best hairdresser I’ve had, she doesn’t do too much or too little always perfect and gives great advice if I ask. She’s awesome at her job and super friendly

Shon Turm Andise has been amazing at helping my hair grow and keeping it healthy during and post transition to natural. Im blessed to have had this journey with her. Tatyana Salas First .in the begging I was questioned for being young and wanting to try a method that young girls don’t usually try. Didn’t see why that mattered if I was a paying customer. 2nd there was no consultation I wish she would have asked me to come in prior to my appointment to check my hair and see if the process will be possible with my Hair texture and length. But because my hair was longer than she expected I was charged an additional $15 which leave me to pay 90 instead of 75 plus 20% tip. if I was simply asked that before I would’ve been prepared before wasting an extra $15. Because my hair was a little longer 3rd she had to send another employee to go to the store to pick up a product. 4th A process that was supposed to take an hour and 45 minutes at most took 6 whole hours. 5th While washing my hair my scalp was being scratched, which caused the chemicals to burn my scalp during the perming process. I showed stylists example pictures in the beginning to make sure she could do the same thing she said yes. 6th I wish she would have told me she couldn’t do it because now looking at my hair it looks nothing like that not even similar to the curl pattern I desired and I PAID $108! I left when my hair was wet because I was already in a rush and I had to leave but by the time my hair dried at home it looked totally different. She scheduled for me to return back another day for re rodding Initially I agreed but now looking at my hair I WILL NOT be coming back another time at all.

DeAun Johnson I went to Annie to get a spiral perm and she did a fantastic job! I had called several other salons and no one was willing to do my hair because it was long. Not only did Annie do a fantastic job with my hair, she took really good care of my hair, constantly checking it to make sure the solution was not doing to much damage and really cared for my hair. I will definitely be coming back for any upkeep, trims, etc.

Ruth Kim I had super straight Asian hair all my life. Ive always wanted to get it permed wavy, but I was terrified. Then, I decided to man up and get it done. When I got there, the nerves hit me again, but Annie walked me through the steps and explained how many different ways there would be to perm my hair and make it look good. She also took the time explain some of the different techniques she was using and why she was doing it. The entire staff is very sweet and nice. It was a WONDERFUL experience getting my hair permed here, and I will be going back if and when my perm falls out. Absolutely could not recommend a better hair salon. Please check Annies out. She is very talented, gifted, knowledgeable, and beyond sweet. You will have an excellent time, and I promise you, you will love your hair after she is done with it.

Natalie Hendricks-Heuer Annie did a great job with my cut and color and was extremely sweet! She told me she spent 10 years in Paris and worked as a hairstylist there and it shows. Highly recommend this salon for the price and quality if you are anywhere near Garland.

Fernando Castillo This is a very good place to cut your hair, they are a really professional people, just call for appointment and you be alright, I believe they take walk in people but works better if you make appointment

Jason Hall The hair cut specialist did a great job on my best friends hair. She had major self damage to it for many years but the stylist was able to repair it, layer it and allow her hair to shine again. Will definitely be back in 2 months.

Jeri Webb Since moving to Garland 4 years ago I have been on the hunt for a decent hair person. I’ve had some that were not too bad but didn’t wow me. And some that were awful (don’t listen, burn your hair, burn your scalp). And some that weren’t consistently good (had to go back for a recut). I’m not an overly picky person.. I found this shop by accident and made an appointment. I needed to get a bad cut fixed. Long layers but looked like a two tiered cut, ugh. Le was confident she could fix it and she did a great job! She took off length from the bottom “tier”, blended and texturized the top tier. She dried and flat ironed it. Whatever spray she used during ironing kept my frizzy, curly hair straight for 2 days. After I washed and styled it myself I was so pleased with her work. She’s precise and fast. I hope she stays around for awhile because I will be back. Sending my husband there also. Ask for Le and get a great, affordable haircut.

Tuan Tran With Mais help, I had my hair chopped. She inquired about my preferred hair-cutting method and was really pleasant. She cropped the image just as I had requested once I had shown her the photo. I shall return with her since I am extremely satisfied. I appreciate how warm and knowledgeable Mai is.

Vivian Luevanos I wanted to share my experience with Nhan, the hairstylist, from my visit in summer 2024. While Nhan is a kind and friendly person, I didnt quite get the results I was hoping for with my haircut. Specifically, I felt that the layers werent cut quite right, and I didnt receive the guidance I needed. Unfortunately, the bleaching process also didnt turn out as expected, and my hair was damaged. I appreciate Nhans efforts and want to support local businesses. However, due to my experience, I dont think Ill be returning for future services. I hope this feedback can help Nhan improve his skills and provide better results for his clients in the future.

Joseph Good place to get haircut in DFW for $12. Soung did a good job. It’s not too busy 1-3pm on a weekday. Highly recommended. Masks are not required in 2022.

Danh Nguyen Nhân takes about 45-60min to complete my hair cut. He is very throughout and detailed oriented. His quality is always consistent. I have recommended many of my friends and families to him and they all love him!

Liz Blackwelder I came in for a full color and accent highlight, and I am so happy with the results! Victoria did a great job, even with my difficult hair. I had previous red box dye in my hair, so the highlights lifted pretty warm at the ends and bright at the roots from new growth, and she was able to put some color over them to even it out. I will warn people looking to get highlights, if you have previous color you may have to adjust your goals because they use their own brand of lightener that is less strong than bleach and will not lift as well as bleach. That being said though, with all of the burgundy dye in my hair, she was still able to get it to lift pretty well and got it to the color I wanted! I will definitely be going back for a full highlight next time

Mary McCall I came in for a root touch up since my guy was fully booked. The stylist was very sweet and the color was great quality, however I left with almost an inch of color on my forehead that I had to scrub off (it is still visible a day later). I would not recommend having a touch up and going to an appointment or anything scheduled after. I was lucky to go in on a Sunday after errands. The membership does sounds like a good deal, maybe I will have less residual color with another stylist as I never experienced this issue before.

Lakisha Culpepper I was super unsure and concerned that my hair texture would be too much for the stylist and I was totally wrong. They did an amazing natural color (bye-bye grey) and the blowout is moving and flowing in a lovely way.

Anabel Garcia I’ve always had an excellent experience coming to this salon. They have a great attitude and have amazing hair colorists.

Teresa VanGilder I am a small business owner and work a lot of hours. I have struggled to keep my hair color and roots done due to the time it took. I decided to try Madison Reed. I have their monthly subscription. I love going every 2-3 weeks. It’s become part of my self care routine. The shop at Garland has a great staff And they always make me feel welcome and taken care of. Highly recommended!

Zoey J. I was a bit hesitant when I walked through the doors. However, when Ashley cut my hair, and pulled out the Gold trimmers I was like shes not playing around. Needless to say, I now have a new hair stylist, that can cut my hair the way I like and is very affordable! Some barbers/cutters want to charge you $40 to cut your hair when it grows back in 2 weeks, not going to pay ANYONE over $30 to cut my hair. NOT DOING IT! I walked away HAPPY, lets just say that ... Monica Moore I was referred to Karrie and have been more than pleased with every aspect of interaction. Karrie is talented and knowledgeable in cutting, coloring and damage repair for my hair. She answered my questions while in her chair, responded to my questions via text and educated me on what to do at home to keep my hair healthy. I have found a stylist that I plan to stick with for as long as possible and am confident in her ability to solve my hair issues and take care of my concerns. I highly recommend Karrie. You won’t be disappointed.

Eileen Riverside Not entirely their fault. Website doesnt mention appts and the door said walk-ins welcome. I came in and sat down. After a few minutes, one stylist asked if she could help me and I explained I was hoping to walk in. She made that derisive sucking on teeth sound and said no, she didnt have time, looked at the other stylist who never looked up can you fit her in? with a quick no. The first lady explained they didnt have enough staff to cover walk-ins that day. Ok. Thats fine and all, but maybe have a sign for the door stating as such.

Adrienna Bell Nope. Don’t recommend. Not gentle with your hair, and they rush through the cut. The layers look like a bowl cut on top of long hair.

Moe Peña I’ve been going to this place for more than 10 years and sometimes they get scissor happy but I kept going because they’re close to me and let me use my own products since I have had issue with theirs, I tried to call to make an appointment to do retouch my hair just so they would hang up and play childish games instead of just telling me to take my business elsewhere. Grow up.

A c My hair was super long, and I asked for a 4-inch trim with long layers. Instead, she cut off almost all my hair, leaving barely anything left. I cant believe she would cut off so much without my permission. Its a complete mess, and now I have to wait a year for my hair to grow back or consider getting extensions

Chrissy Sperry I went to this salon for over 2 years and originally left a 5 Star review but could no longer stand by that review. Mimi and Julie are very sweet ladies. I always got my hair done by Mimi and was initially happy with my hair but over time I became unhappy with the results of my hair and started becoming aware of her limitations. I was always friendly about my hair outcome and in fairness to her, I never told her I was unhappy. But I kept going back hoping things would improve and I would somehow become satisfied with my hair. I never really was. I stayed for so long because the salon became familiar to me and I just didnt want to go salon shopping for a new hair place. But eventually, it was necessary. I think things would improve if they were able to sharpen their skills and learn some new techniques and come up to date with the current styles and trends. Their current clientele (mostly older ladies) have been getting their hair done the same way for a long time and the stylists never get to try anything new. The salon itself needs some renovations as well. Everything needs some freshening.

I showed him a picture of what I wanted which was the balayage style with silver/gray hair and he nailed it! I was extremely happy with the results. Him and his staff were super nice. He gave me recommendations on how to take care of my hair, and so far, nothing but compliments! I will definitely go back when its time to do a touch up. Five stars!

Esther Abraham Came with my son. The manager asked another lady to cut my sons hair. It was such a simple cut. The lady went as far as saying in Spanish Im picky and some other mean comments in Spanish. The manager jumped in and had to fix her mistakes that she butchered the side of my sons hair terrible. Cut the back in the worst straight line I have ever seen. My sons hair is straight as a board. I was so frustrated because we had been growing out his hair to have it shaped nicely in the back. And to review this saloon that we had seen for months. At the end I said in English Im not picky. I just wanted it done correctly. She turned red. I tipped her anyways because I felt bad for her. We dont know peoples life or journey. But I definitely will never come here again nor will I ever refer them. This is sad that the manager or if she was the owner would even allow someone like that to cut hair. She was clearly very inexperienced. She should of worked on fake hair first. Im not one to cause a scene. But the manager should of apologized at least. In stead she told me how much and directed me to the cashier. I am always about supporting small business. But not this one my friend. Good luck yall.

J&S Party Rentals Co Love coming to this place, prices are very reasonable, the service is great. Have been coming here for over 5 years and have never had a bad experience. I bring my children for regular cuts and my hair coloring have always been exceptional. Would highly recommend Patricia Salon.

Martha Duran Patricia was a very pleasant person. She took the time to explain to me what would be a good color for my hair and why. She also explained what i wanted and what it all entailed. Its obvious she knows what she is doing. Friendly place.

Autumn Barganier Worst service. I sat down in the salon chair and Trish was already complaining about how she wasnt going to get her lunch because of the people who came in after me. I show her a picture of what I wanted (which I have gotten every six months for the past two years at this salon) and she doesnt even look at the picture and says she already knows. Keep in mind I only wanted three inches off at most and wanted to keep the majority of my length. She rushed my haircut because of her lunch break and cut six inches off of my hair. She cut it in a straight line when I specifically asked for layers and showed her a picture. When I told her it wasnt what I asked for she argued and told me it looked exactly like the picture and it was my fault I didnt like it. Terrible service. Please go somewhere else. My hair was nearly to my hips before her service.

Jeri Webb I went in as a walk in, my first time here. I was immediately waited on by Julie. She sat me down, asked what I wanted. After a very nice hair wash and conditioning, she went to work. She cut my hair the way I wanted it perfectly. She is a meticulous perfectionist. She blow dried and flat ironed my hair. She is efficient, yet takes her time getting details right. I have been to salons where they charge double, and I didn’t get a great haircut. She even showed me how to control my very unruly, curly, frizzy hair.. I will be a repeat customer. Thank you Julie!

A A I got my hair cut by the owner today, not sure I forgot to get her name, but she was so sweet and did an amazing job. Will definitely be a returning customer. I have a lot of hair and have had trouble finding people who can cut it the right way so it looks good, but she nailed it.

Martha Aguinaga I went yesterday with my daughter just to get a hair trim. They did not need to shampoo, dry or style our hair I was shocked when I asked her how much I owed her and she said$110!!!!! I was like for a trim?! If you go definitely ask for her prices first.
