Emily Garner I love going to this salon I always book a week or so in advance and receive wonderful customer service from both Martina Abbott and Sierra Dominguez . My hair has never been so healty since Martina started doing it, its so healthy and soft even after bleaching and dying it and grows so much faster than before. I go to have her wash and trim my hair often she is amazing at what she does. I love going to Sierra to get my nails done she is so gentle and they last a long time I had a set that lasted 5 weeks and were still very pretty and for a good price compared to others she always seems to know exactly what I want them to look like. I am a proud loyal customer for both of these wonderfully talented ladies.

Corie Stucky I got the platinum card service, and Brisa was my stylist. She was not only very friendly, but took her time! She did a great job and I left very happy with my hair!

Cat Turner I so, so, so wish I hadn’t made an appt. I brought in a photo and explained as best I could but I think the photo should have been enough to show what I wanted. I wanted a shorter bob than I already had and I got absolutely butchered. I have like, no hair in the back of my head. My stylist even used men’s buzzers on my neck bc it was so short. I didn’t have the guts to tell her i absolutely hated it. It was hard to smile though. Thank god I didn’t cry. Thank god I’ve had super short hair before and I was pretty tough about it. But I hate it. Absolutely hate it. She can’t even fix it bc I have literally have no more hair left. I don’t wish this upon anyone. I guess in six months my hair will be the cut I originally wanted but until then I put on a brave face and still out about my day but I’d rather hide under a rock. I understand that all stylist have their own thing going so don’t comment blah blah…”I’m so sorry, you should talk to your stylist crap.” Just wish I could get my hair back. Update: After 4 months my hair has grown and I found someone who can listen and cut my bob just perfectly, so I’m doing well.

Danya Bueno Brought my 14 year old daughter to see Maryssa Monday 11/20 for a blonde balayage. We completed the questionnaire paid the $50 deposit to book. My daughter has had highlights one year ago & brown put on her hair all over 6 months ago. When she brought her back to the room after doing foils & washing I knew she had completely damaged her hair. It was mushy & stringy. Because I didn’t want to scare my daughter I didn’t say anything. The breakage covered the brush she brushed her hair out with and it was also on her cape. Maryssa said “she does have some fallout & that’s to be expected!!!” I have never in my 43 years of getting my hair done had anything like that happen to my hair. At that point I was thankful it wasn’t worse & she still had hair. Once she put toner & styled it it looked ok…obviously it wasn’t anything like what she wanted but , again, just glad she had hair left. After washing/conditioning with joico kpak, a hair mask, oil & air drying this what her hair looks like. It’s completely fried. There’s breakage all over up to 4 inches from her head. I messaged her and of course was told it wasn’t her fault…the usual response. Extremely dissatisfied obviously. We have to cut inches off her hair & are now going to put in extensions. Absolutely do not recommend. One thousand percent don’t think what we came in for was over the top unreasonable, but bottom line If a client comes in and wants something it’s up to the stylist…the licensed professional…to protect the client & themselves. Period.

Araly Lujan I never know what to do with my hair, but Stephanie (who is now at Hola Bonita) does an amazing job every time. Every time i leave Hola Bonita i feel like a new woman. I always tell her “surprise me i trust you” and yup every time i love my hair. She gets me out of my comfort zone. I moved to Houston and would come down to Odessa just to get her to do my hair.

Colleen Grawburg La Shae is absolutely amazing. I love that she thinks outside the box. We come up with great color and hairstyle choices each time. You need to give her a call!!

isabel hernandez DO NOT get your haircut by Karina! She will cut more than you want off. I asked for a small trim about one inch to two the most! She cut more than 4 inches off. She kept talking about her husband problems instead of listening to what I want. Now I have to suffer the consequences. My hair was to my lower back and it’s to my chest now! SUPER UPSET. She didn’t apologize at all

Reilly Selman Don’t see Karina. Didn’t know she used 40 vol until I saw my hair fall out in clumps on the ground. Didn’t get better from there. Asked for long layers because my left over hair is fried and stringy and now I have uneven chopped layers?

Mandi Myers Indulge is a great place to go! I haven’t been to the hair salon in over 15 years because my hair got so messed up the last time I went. I met the hair doctor and decided to go see her Sheree McGee and oh my goodness I’m so pleased not only did she go out of her way to accommodate me for my schedule after hours but my hair looks amazing!! I’m so happy that I decided to go in and that Sheree did such a great job for me she is one of a kind, customer service is at the top of her list and her skills are wow, off the chart!! She was so kind and has no problem reassuring me that I wouldn’t come out looking like some crazy monster, I felt at ease the moment I sat down in her chair!! From here on out I will only be using The Hair Dr. - Sheree, she is amazing and I suggest anybody that is nervous about getting their hair done give her a call, she’ll take care of you no problem at all

Gayle Buzzelli If I could give zero stars I would. Cookie Rojero colored my hair, she did an awful job. It was hard to see in the salon but once I got outside I could see The service cost me $180 . She has refused to refund my money stating " there is a sign at my station that all services need to paid for and no refunds " and that she had already spent the money.and could not refund, although she admitted she did a poor job ! Filed a complaint with Texas department of Licensing and Regulation. If she had jyst agreed to refund there would be no need for this negative post

Jessica Rodriguez I had made an appt with Ruby about a week before. I got there without being late only to find out she had booked someone else at the same time as mine. I waited for about an hour or so. During that hour we saw other girls walk in which she ended up attending before me. I’m not the kind to get bothered about customer service. I try to be comprehensive even if you’re running late. But my time is just as valuable as others. I didn’t walk in, I made an appt to not have to wait as much and yet I did. I ended up walking out. So disappointed.

Rustic Lace I’ve been going to Pearla to do my hair for YEARS (14+ years to be exact). She works with your schedule and is the most down to earth person. Book with her and I promise you won’t regret it!

Rocio Escoto Marry Ann cut my hair it was the worst experience Ive ever had smh she charged me a late fee for being late 4 minutes she claims to give a 15-minute grace she claims that I wasnt in her lobby well good thing I have screenshots Im just here to warn anyone who goes with her make sure you dont show up late cuz you will have to pay a $20 late fee

Lorraine I requested a $20 haircut. I got charged for a whole heap of extra stuff I did not realize I was going to be charged for, maybe they should say online that every cut comes with shampoo, conditioner and blow dry regardless if that’s the case. I won’t be returning for such an expensive cut. I have been there before and that was not the case with my past experience.

Joshua Gomez We scheduled our appointment online to try to save time. When we arrived at our scheduled time there still was a 45 minute wait. So I really don’t see the benefit of having an online scheduling tool. You still have to wait and seems like it’s first come first serve. Smart style should have everyone have to book an appointment electronically to try to streamline the customers experience. Every time we go in there’s five or six people waiting trying to check in And just seems like there should be a better way to provide a better experience for the customer as well as manage the flow of customers better .

vanessa ceniceros Love the environment. Everyone is so professional. Love the work that Rosa Luján does on me and my daughter from hair cuts to coloring. She advises you on what products to use depending on the type of hair you have. Nichole the braiding lady has skill of her own that are fantastic as well. She does braiding and updos for weddings quinces and any other event that you would have. She did mine and my girls hair for a quince that we had. Very satisfied. In this picture the hair color is done by Rosa and the updos are done by Nichole.

Paola De La Cruz I have curly hair and I had the best service with Gloria. She is very knowledgeable with curly hair and the items that are needed for styling hair! The place its self is gorgeous and well maintained!

April Sanders Kassie has been caring for my hair for approximately 14 years. I have never had any negative issues with Kassie. She is the only hair artist I will allow to touch my hair. She is very talented at what she does. Kassie is knowledgeable, friendly, caring and listens to her clients. She gives good advice on how to care for your hair. The salon is beautiful, clean and has a great atmosphere.

j p I based my choice to go here off of the reviews and they were very misleading. I made an appointment, was told to be there at 9 and was there before 9 and nobody arrived until 9:45. She completely butchered my hair and when I called to speak about it she informed me I was at fault and should’ve let her know she messed up and it was my fault because she “did what I asked” It was longer on one side than the other, chunks of longer and shorter hair, instead of a straight across cut it was wavy with high and low cut areas and it was cut shorter than I had asked. The only thing that was done right was I was refunded since I did not want to go back and have them fix it.

Elena Quintero My hairstylist did not even take 10 minutes cutting my hair. She didnt take her time, did not divide my hair properly, so I have some hair strands longer than the others. My very first time at this salon and I did not enjoy it at all.

Macie Cox My experience was absolutely horrible. I see the stylist had Dove shampoo on the back bar which is very VERY unprofessional. I was hit numerous times in the face with my wet hair. I did not get the hair cut I was asking for. Also, me being a stylist, myself, came home and double checked my layers by straightening my hair, MY HAIR WAS UNEVEN. All over. Im absolutely devastated with my experience and will not be visiting this salon again.

DM Heab Everyone is really nice! I didnt have an appointment but they all worked as a team to get me in there and taken care of! I got my color done by Nicole, and she was so sweet. My hair was cut by Brittany, she was so funny, and nice. I was styled by Chelsea, whom I believe is the owner, she is hilarious. They all did a fantastic job. Very gorgeous, spunky, and outgoing group of ladies.

Des Mora I had Ombré microblading done on my eyebrows by Natalya. She did an amazing job on the first procedure and the touch up. I highly recommend, she is kind and makes you feel very comfortable. I went from having patches on my face to beautiful eyebrows. Trust the process and follow the after care instructions and they will look amazing. I went for a more natural look but I think she can achieve any look.

Vanessa Quiñonez My husband has been coming to this place for several months now, but yesterday he had a bad experience. He waited almost 3 hours to be attended, and on top of that, the person who attended him was working there for the first time and didn’t know how to cut hair. The woman next to her was explaining how to cut his hair, meaning they didn’t care if it turned out well or not. To make matters worse, when he arrived, another person came in shortly after and was attended to first this is not fair, that’s why there’s a line. He even heard them say, "We can’t let her (the new barber) cut the man’s hair," so it was easy to let her do it to my husband. And how is it possible that they let him leave the barbershop with hair all over his back? He had to go shopping like that, which is embarrassing. I wasn’t with him, but he told me everything that happened, and when he got home, I saw how all the hair was stuck to his back. Please, be more professional.

jforce games Been coming here for the last six months since moving here. It wasn’t bad the first time but haircuts kept getting worse. Today, we asked them to cut a 1/4” of my son’s hair. Instead she did like an inch. The person who did my hair took 30 minutes for a simple number three hair cut with a fade. We still tipped about 25% to each one but after today… I am done with this place. The ladies here don’t seem to care and the one who’s done my hair looks like a recovering junkie and acts bizarre. 30 minutes for practically a buzz? No more. I’m tired of bad service in this town and I refuse to give hard earned money for half a$$ jobs.

carlos chavez Venetia in Odessa always hooks up my boys when we are in town. She’s thorough, takes her time, and always makes them feel comfortable. My youngest son has autism, and hates to feel hair on him. She takes the time to make sure he’s doing well during his cut. They always come out looking like handsome men. Highly recommend her! She’s worth driving from out of town for.

Ruben Great atmosphere, professional cuts! Plus they offer you a beverage weather you want a cold beer or a soda its there for you. They will keep your neck and edge trimmed in between cuts for free! Great place to keep a long term stylist!

Lacg Lacg If it was possible to leave no stars I would but then you cant write a review. My husband (a retired, disabled Army Vet) was denied service because of his service dog. We stopped, saw that every chair was full and I mentioned to my husband, "Wow, this is where we need to be!" As I said that my husband was signing in at the desk that was unattended. Right away, as you are walking in to your left, the first chair, black gentleman, who were told was the manager says that they dont allow dogs. I responded that our dog is service dog. He responded "state law, no dogs allowed". They refused to attend us. Didnt even say oh the dog can wait outside. No, they refused us service. A another mall employee helped us call security and officer Whitaker helped us notify the police and file a complaint. Hats off to her and the police who helped us. To make matters worse shortly after I went back to help them identify the man who refused us service and the first booth was clean, and empty. The man was no where to be found. If he did nothing wrong why was he gone? Also, two girls were now at the desk. This place does not know the laws and an army veteran was denied service. My husbands service dog has been around the world, been in hospitals, emergency rooms, restaurants, etc but my husband couldnt get his hair cut. DO NOT GO HERE! WHAT THAT MANAGER DID IS PUNISHABLE BY LAW! Our experience here with humiliating, emotional, it was unnecessary and against the LAW!

Chadrick Dotson a guy with dreads cut my hair in the shop , I believe his name was reggie , he did a bad job on my line-up. I spent $40 on it.I was in a rush so i just paid and left. will not be visiting this barbershop again.

I didnt want money or anyone fired, but at least I was expecting an apology and an I have spoken with my people about listening. Quite honestly its not the first time I wasnt listened to, but all the others werent as drastic, trims, or i was ok with the result. I hate my hair still. Hate it. My self esteem is in the toilet and no one reached out at all. Ok. Well, bye felicia and for anyone thinking about going to this salon...obviously they dont care. I cant get over going to my birthday dinner with a swollen face from crying, not eating and not wanting to look at anyone. So, thanks for your kind words...not.* ****************************************** I have been going to this salon for years. I have had great cuts and ok cuts, but never bad. Until now. I recently had surgery and wanted to feel better so I went in after a dr appointment. I showed the stylist a picture. I said: hey will this work with my hair. I showed a second Pic, same style but longer and said can you do this but in between on length. Iknew it would be shorter but I did say I didnt want too short. I sat and for some reason she started on the left side of my head. Before I knew it she had cut wayy too much off the side. Then the back. I was stunned but she had my hair in her hands and I just had to wait for her to even it out. It was bad. She had to use clippers...which she even told me she wouldnt have to do. I should have said something but the damage was done i just had to let her even it out. But she just kept cutting. I was actually crying. If you cant do the cut i showed you, say something. I would have found something else. She gave me pixie cut number 3 from the hair school textbook. I didnt ask for it. I had to hide my face. I left in tears. I couldnt write this for 2 weeks because I cant look too long in the mirror. I hate it and it will take a very long time to grow out. I hate the way I look. I spend a lot of time crying. Before you tell me I should have said something, I had just had surgery. Im not a confrontational person and all I could do was just let her even it out. I learned my lesson. Next time I say stop go get someone else. In the meantime I have a horrible pixie cut that will make me cry for months. So thanks.

BreeAnna Williams I got a hair trim from the JCPenney Salon in the Odessa location today and I wish I could go back in time and never do it. I went in (not sure what the girls name was) and I asked for no more than a 2 inch trim. She did not wash my hair and I had asked for just a quick trim and no styling. When she finished my hair I got up and paid for the haircut, the total cost was $45 which absolutely shocked me considering my hair wasn’t washed or styled at the end, just trimmed. When I got home I noticed that my hair was extremely short and about 6 inches was cut from my hair and it was uneven in several places. I definitely do not recommend coming here if you want to keep the length on your hair.

Alely Mendoza I went to JCPenney salon after my hair was botched at a “high end salon” where they refused to fix my hair after they messed it up! Ms Denise and Ms Becky were so very nice and took me in without an appt. Ms Denise did an exceptional job at correcting someone else’s mistake. I one 100% recommend Ms Denise as she can meet your every need! Very knowledgeable and holds her self accountable every step of the way. I’m si happy she took me in! Thank you JCP salon! Mrs Jennifer D Sarah (26 years experience ) murdered my hair. I called and spoke to Becky (manager) and she said she would fix it but Im scared to go back. I went in for a simple conditioning treatment and trim and she butchered my hair. Now Im terrified to let anyone touch my hair again. I cant even style this. Its so bad. Traumatizing to say the least.

Tram Horton First to to do hairrs with Ulta: im happy to work with Malaina .D I really not happy with the manager. I went back to perm hairs because its so straight after a few days. The lady made 2nd appointmt for me is nice and she agreed to perm my hairs free of charge. But when i came, the manager claim because i wash my hair early (nobody told me that, i perm on friday, wash on sunday), and they said need to cut my hair short..anyway..a long story, but the fact is her attitude. Ok i can wait until my hairs longer, but with that attitude, i will choose the other places

Alisa West Was not helped. Attended all other customers. Guess they didnt think I had money. The lady on the next aisle stuffed things in her purse, but they were only looking at me. Not a good selection of products (only Nars concealer, only PUR toner). All makeup was picked through and had been opened. The cashier overcharged me on a $450 transaction, I came immediately back in to return the double scanned item and supervisor sent me back to the long line. I would have returned all items but I forgot my makeup bag in another state. I will never return to this ulta.

Trae Marler I wish I could give this experience zero stars. It was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Having worked at Ulta for three years, I can confidently say this was the worst service Ive encountered. I overheard associates speaking negatively about customers and arguing over who would make the intercom announcement. When I asked for assistance regarding a specific item, one associate responded unkindly, slapping her hands down and dismissively stating that they didn’t have it. However, I would like to express my gratitude to Rayn for providing exceptional service during checkout.

Ivan Garcia I entered Ulta yesterday afternoon not entirely sure what I was looking for. When I was greeted by Jennifer in pink pants and a great attitude ready to help. She helped find exactly what I needed. After completing my purchase and headed towards my car I realized my battery had died. Before I even knew it Jennifer was there with jumper cables, ready to get me back on the road! Jennifer went above and beyond with her customer service. She definitely deserves a promotion!

Kat Mesa Ida did a great job color correcting , bleaching my roots blonde and blending my hair color. She was very nice and patient with me I definitely recommend her and I will be going back to get my hair done with her.

Jasmine Ruvalcaba Worst customer service in Odessa! One of the barbers with pink hair and piercings on her face was extremely rude to us and was complaining about her schedule right in front of us. We walked out right before she started on my son because there was no way I would allow someone who clearly hates her job perform a haircut on my child. Clearly lacking customer service skills. If you are the owner reading this, she said she said she was leaving her shift before it was over and didn’t care. Convenience isn’t everything people, there are better places here to get a quick cut.

Scott Youngers Samantha cut my hair. She was polite and friendly. She made sure I liked my cut. I showed her a picture of a previous haircut I received and she cut it the same way. Extremely happy with my haircut.

JD Carpenter I have been going to this Great Clips location for almost a year now, and I have always had excellent service there. My son now goes there for his haircuts, and I recommend this location to my father, who also loves this establishment. The services are always done correctly, and they even save your information for future reference!

Luis Pando I arrived by the time the online time showed me I was 1st in line but estimated time was 8-10 min . The young lady asked me if I created an appointment online . I replied yes and that it showed I was next. She said she will sign me in and she didn’t. Two other customers went before me and there were no more customers then she finally signed me in. She asked If I wanted a high or low fade . I requested a Low fade but ended up with a high fade and my hair was a mess. She gave everyone there receipts with a discount on them but she didn’t give me a receipt. Last time I’m going there.

Kari T Good place for birthday parties and other small events. Like that they have a kitchen sink /prep area and fridge, and restrooms for women and men. Only down side is one toilet for women restoom, would have been grate to have stalls in women bathroom with multiple toilet since it usually the business place with young kids and babies. Also love that they have a piñata rope inside which comes handy in bad weather

Dr.Phil Bigone Wife was looking and calling around town for a simple shampoo and cut. She got prices from 45 to 100.00 for a shampoo and cut. Folks I dont care who you are but if your crazy enough to spend 50 or 75.00 for a 30 minute wash cut go for it. She called Supercuts and was told about a hour wait so we got on list and drove over. She wanted about 20 minutes and was sitting in chair. Got hair shampoo and blow dry with tip and all for 33.00. She told me afterwards it was cut and styled exactly like she wanted. Very satisfied. Jerika did a excellent job. I would highly recommend this establishment and this young lady in the future. Nice clean waiting area with plenty of chairs.

Randall Blau Michael was great. I just had cataract surgery the day before and he took extra care to insure I did not get water or hair in my eyes. He is the best.

Jarod ehrenberg The sign on the door says they are open until 6 pm I show up at 540 and the lady says they are closed. Other customers were sitting I the lobby so I guess it was something personal towards me. As you can see in the picture the time was 547. And the sign on the door clearly says open.
