Madhu Chugani Kari is a wonderful person. She keeps her word, no matter what. I had an appointment with her on a Tuesday, but she had a death in the family and had to cancel. But I also had to attend a wedding the next day. So she called me in to do my hair, on Monday night. That’s what I call dedication and conviction. She’s the BEST.

Jennifer Young My daughter has come to Kari since she was 2 years old. She gave my daughter her first haircut. Kari is very professional and honest. Kari has also help me cut my daughters hair to donate, correct color and help me get Red Kool-Aid out of my kids hair. Her prices are very reasonable and she fits me in to her busy schedule. Not sure I would of survived all this craziness without her. Thank you Kari for always being here for us!!

Breanna Arambula I’ve been going to Kari for years! And every time I leave so happy with my finished product. She never disappoints me! She always throughly explains what’s going to happen when I color my hair. Such a professional. My kids even love going to her! If I could do 10 stars I would!

Ashley Huerta My 16 year old daughter went to Kari for a color correction and instead Kari just threw some dye over my daughters green hair and charged her $150 just for the color. I have had my hair colored many times and it never costed that much. Not to mention the color started to fade within a week. WHEN I called around before my daughter decided on Karis Kuts which is not one of the places I called, she only went there because thats where her boyfriend gets is hair cut, I was given a quote for COLOR CORRECTION to start at $150. I feel that this lady took advantage of my daughter and that is not professional at all. I even have family that are professional hair dressers that told me she definitely over charged my daughter.

Michelle Sloas Very disappointed in my hair that I had gotten highlights in over the past 2 weeks! I wanted fall highlights with blond highlights! Hair was red and purple with very little blond. I went in to get it fixed however the stylist had me book for the next Wednesday so she way over booked and worked on 4 people including me at the same time. She dismissed me by saying “Oh your hair looks great you have a lot of blonde in your hair “! I was really dismissed, I feel, because she had overbooked for that day! I wanted this first picture and the following pictures is what I ended up with! Very disappointed! Update 11-12-24 Went in today and got my hair like I was wanting it! The owner, Melissa, was very nice and added more blonde highlights to take care of all the red! Also gave me a leave in conditioner to help with any dryness! Thank you!

Michelle Ralls So, to begin; I thought I could possibly pull red out of my hair on my own because I was being impatient for a vacation I planned in June and that was a HUGE mistake on my part. However, I had no idea who to call or where to go to fix my issue which you can see in the photos below. I looked online for beauty salons and decided to call Mane Addiction (in the hopes they could fix my mishap before I had to spend another day at work or in public, for that matter, with the mess I had made of my hair) and Melissa was able to get me in as soon as I called. As you can see in the photos, she definitely worked a miracle and I owe her a huge applause for her talent. Calling Mane Addiction was the BEST DECISION I HAVE MADE IN SOME TIME. Great atmosphere and very professional. I recommend them 100% for any hair service you are searching for.

clacy billings Melissa was wonderful. She did my hair exactly how I wanted. Changed my mind and wanted to get a different cut. She was able to shell me today and was very understanding. 5 stars.

Devon Higgins I cannot say enough great things about my salon experience here!! My hairdresser, Angel, was absolutely PHENOMENAL-- I could not have asked for better. Not only was she willing to take some risks with me on my cut and color (risky because this was my first visit) as I asked her to do, but she also was a wonderfully charismatic and insightful person. I LOVE MY HAIR!! I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!!

Martha Ferris Since moving to Seguin, I have tried multiple salons in the area and this by far has been the best one. Crystal did my color and cut and really took her time talking through the process with me and brought my hair back to life. Everyone working there had amazing energy and the atmosphere they have created is really wonderful.

Carolyn Caffey Krystal is amazing. She did a fabulous wash, cut and blowdry on my hair. Then she cut my husbands hair and he was very happy, too. She offered to come down to the 1st floor so I wouldnt have to climb stairs which was very considerate. Love this salon. By appointment only so no waiting.

terri b Ashley Nelson has been doing my hair for several years and is an amazing mixologist when it comes to coloring. I always give Ashley free rein in my hair because I know that she knows what she’s doing and takes her time to do it right. My hair is naturally very dark brown to black and gray so when I told her I wanted to go platinum blonde she didn’t blink. She said it’s going to be a process but we will get you there. And — of course she did! Whether you are young or old, have long or short, curly or straight hair she will adapt. I’m so happy I found Ashley when I did. She is kind, caring, talented and hilarious too. I enjoy my appointments and know I’m in great hands. I’d give her 100 stars if they had them but 5 will have to do.

Rick Jordan I finally found my go to barber shop in Seguin. I am really particular about how someone cuts my hair and today I received the perfect haircut and must say it’s the first time in years that my barber actually shaved the back of my neck before finishing. She didn’t ask me “what number do they usually use?” She used her talent and mostly scissors. In addition I got a shave that was out of this world. Can’t say enough good things about this place. I will not be getting my haircut anywhere else from now on.

c davis I brought my grandchild who was 3 yrs. old into the shop who had a lot of curly long hair. Ashley the barber & her daughter had him sit in the chair w/ ease, comfort & a lot of laughter. Which was excellent for a 3 yr. old! Thank you so much, plus his hair looked great!

takoman m If the Hispanic Instructor is supervising your student, please request a second opinion. This is the 2nd time she has supervised my hair and it has come out like an oompa, loompa.. I offered up the prior experience and she ignored it and my request to go darker. Im convinced that she may need to revisit mixology and toning. Learned my lesson!!! Will not be back. 0/10

AMY DOUGLAS They did a good job on my daughters highlights. I only learned not to go on a Wednesday because it is senior citizen discount day. Took a very long time but they were nice and did a good job.

Christopher Pannell My experience today at Seguin Beauty School in NB was great! I believe my stylist was a Ms.Wilkerson, and she did a phenomenal job with my hair cut. It was exactly how I wanted it. She was friendly and made me feel comfortable being there. The overall vibe was very relaxed and it was definitely worth the low cost of $8. And they shampooed my hair!! I will be going back.

Allison Haeussler I went in to get a “home cut” fixed. The stylist was great working with my sensory sensitive daughter. She got everything cleaned up and looking great with no issues. She was even able to use the clippers on my daughter’s neck without setting her off - which was a great accomplishment.

rachael guevara I was happy to be seen right away by the sweetest young lady. She was very attentive and asked all the right questions. I left very pleased with the end result.

Paul Winn Nat did a great job and was pleasant to engage with. She explained in understandable detail about hair coloring, was great information I’ve never had any other stylist explain. I’ll definitely have her color & cut my hair going forward.

Angie Yelverton AJ gave me an excellent haircut and discussed in detail my options for coloring and changing my hair length and style. He is obviously quite knowledgeable and skilled at his craft. He also did a nice job of blow drying and styling my cut.

Marianna Espinoza The salon is beautiful and we didnt have to wait. The haircuts me and a family member got there did not at all match the images I shared with them or the description provided. We used two different stylists hoping for a better outcome the second time. This place is just not for me or my family.

Eliana Arellano Alma is the best hair stylist ever. I have been going with her since i was 15-16 years old. She is the only one that knows exactly how my hair works. No way I would switch stylist.

A C I wanted to support a local business. Now I see why people speak down on Seguin and go elsewhere . I’ll never know if this salon is great but I doubt it would be to my standards. I never received a return call to set up an appointment. This Mom and pop shop is uneducated in business management . Poor customer support and marketing . I’d give it zero stars if I could. Go to a place with more training.

Amanda Hart I like this salon! I only come here to see Katy, I followed her. Katy does amazing hair and shes fast! Shampooed, conditioned, cut, blow dry, and style in under an hour. She blows me away! The other hair stylists are friendly and the restroom is clean, too.

Mark Johansen This place has revamped the outside and it looks great. Theres one large store that still remains empty and I am very eager to see what goes into fill it. I frequent several of the other new stores in this complex and hope to see sam improvements made to other shopping centers in the area. The shopping center that includes the Chinese buffet needs to take heed and get going on that remodel. It looks very run down and the parking lot is a mess. Truly, the worst of shopping in the Seguin area is now the shopping area that includes the Chinese buffet and the Goodwill store.

YESLEK NOTLOC Need more businesses!!! Space available. The brand new mattress firm is open for business. PETS SUPPLY+ is your only choice for non chicken type birds in Seguin that I came across. Tractor Supply has expanded and have added a garden center. IMO the back wall and expansion came with extra items throughout the store. Planet Fitness is open at this location. As I havent heard anything outside the fact "they have showers and message chairs for $10 monthly. I find it surprising that a lot of people seemingly to be buying pen or perhaps printers/INK at the Office Depot dog-gone it who knows maybe an office chair.? Tuesday Morning are you serious? Im surprised the Crannys move hasnt put them under yet...! Dont forget about Little Caesars, closed down RadioShack open building, or get some morning donuts or Liberty tax *OBVIOUSLY WHEN IT IN SEASON. All these and bank and convince store next to the local Taco Bell of the town is done and found at the CROSSROADS.

Teresa Wells I take my service dog there to get groomed at paws to perfection! They are great! Highly recommend. I love the outdoor mall. They took an old school and turned it into a mall! They have many cute shops there and bands play in the old center recreation area! Havent been then when it really comes alive but it looks like it would be a great time for the younger generation!

Cindy J-G Loved shopping at the ever so friendly Bath n Body. Found what I needed plus more. Theyre like Lays potato chips, you can buy just one (thing), lol. I went into Catos to buy just earrings. They have the best unique items and the sale items are always a great deal. Skimmed thru the clearance section and because I was short on time, loved many, bought one. They have a huge selection of sale items. I especially loved their hot pink tops cleared after v-day probably. Its not picked over and they vary from dressy to casual. Love this store. Cashiers are always pleasant n polite at all Cato stores. It must be a requirement, lol.

Deepti Deshpande I always go here for my haircut. Crystal is amazing!! she really knows what she is doing, If you dont mind paying a bit more for a good hair style and cut do go and try this place. Also, Regi is great for facials. she will give you a good petite facial perfect for your face.

Laura Stegall Ive been searching for a good salon since I moved to Austin and Ive FINALLY found my spot! I had booked a 9am Saturday appt which is usually super-busy, but they were able to take me back right on time. When I sat in Carlas chair I had a mess of blonde highlights, roots, awkwardly-cut bangs and an off-putting reddish cast through all of my hair. Carla took the time to listen to what I wanted before we got started, and made a few good suggestions along the way. Exactly two hours later, my hair was evenly-colored, shiny and expertly cut. After a few washes and self-stylings, I can safely say that my hair hasnt looked this good in ages. Ill be going back!

Glen Higgins Id leave 0 star review if i could. Absolutely worst experience Ive ever had getting a haircut, and I was in the military. I felt like the stylist was cutting my hair angrily, digging clippers and comb into my head to the point it was painful and left scratches on me. Blowing hot air from a hair dryer in my face, and when it was all said and done i had to have my wife redo my neckline from all the hair missed. Ive been coming to this location for years and never had this problem. Worst stylist ever.

Sona Morales New Management here is really bringing this place down. Also no military discounts anymore only for the MVP? No punch cards anymore. I was told new Management frowns upon discounts up charges for everything even just to breathe This place use to be fun and upbeat now just seems sad. Always new faces never the happy familiar faces I am used to seeing. Sincerely your former customers my son and husband will be looking for a new place that is happy to take care of the customer rather than just take.

cheri rodriguez Take my whole family here, Lucie does the best fades ever and shes the only one in town that knows how to style and cut my mother in laws hair with all her cow licks, Lucie is very professional and quick too. I wouldnt let anyone else cut my familys hair but her. Ive been following her almost stalking to be honest for several years. This lady needs a raise for going above and beyond!!

Thien Gretchen I took my brother for a cut and we enjoyed the experience very much. Jacob cut brother’s hair and was friendly and easy to work with as I helped communicate what my brother wanted. I appreciated Jacob’s input to help guide my brother in understanding his cut. Brother has special needs and while he’s 56, he’s much like a child so it can be different at times in helping him but he loves his haircut and we will visit Great Clips again here in Seguin.

Sam And Jesse Ramos Been to this location a handful of times since it opened, today was two older stylist. 42 years of life and this is no doubt the worse haircut I’ve ever had, a fade with no blend, waves in my hair like the clippers were just as old, the one that cut my hair can never figure out when I check myself and my son in. Have a party tomorrow and told my wife we need to buy a hat to cover this horrific cut. Usually don’t leave bad reviews but, 46 dollars for 2 haircuts and tips that I shouldn’t have given, a review isn’t as bad as my hair.

Taiyo Nelson Rueben is an awesome barber and whenever he cuts my hair, its the only place Ive gotten my hair cut that my wife has told me does a good job. If youre looking for someone who knows what theyre doing, look no further.

Greg moss Great place what I like is you can schedule a spot online and check the availability wait time on when you log in or simply walk in they accept where you can schedule or walk-in they cut my sons and my hair a lot love it … one thing I love the most is that my request is already saved in the computer they pull up your phone number and it already has how you want your haircut from the last visit.

Dave McMillan Rough and temporary look to the set up. I had to wait for twenty minutes until one of the barbers finished reading the paper. No one else was waiting. Charged me $25 for a regular hair cut. Not going back there.
