tankcommander33 If youre struggling and come to them for assistance, they will absolutely not help you. If you own a brokedown vehicle that disqualifies you. Its one thing if you down have a lot of assets. I could understand that, but when youre temporarily at the bottom, they will not extend a hand. I bet theyll have a large christmas party at the end of the year

Thursday Girl I am not currently on the indigent healthcare plan, so I cant speak about it before October of this year. But from my experience, it is a very needed tool in our community. While I was on it I was able to go to regularly scheduled appointments, receive 3 different medications, and attend mental health counseling. These are the most important services I received. However, they are no longer offering any sort of mental health assistance. They only offer the most basic needs.
There is only one kind desk person at the office. She was very helpful and attentive. I cant say the same for one of the other desk persons. Hopefully youll be able to make the differentiation.
I was very thankful for the help when I received it. And it is truly a blessing to be able to get medical help when you need it. Just know that the process is long and you will have to have transportation to the office. I made up to 3 visits before even receiving any service. The equipment at the office needs to be updated. I hope that they can receive the proper funding to keep this program going. Overall, I am incredibly thankful for this program. Blessings to you.

COURTNY COLLIER This place is a joke. I call to schedule an appointment for some knee pain I’ve been having the doctor who I’ve been to before barley examined me I don’t know why I keep going back because this happens anytime I go in there. She told me to go sit in the waiting area and wait for X-ray. 20 minutes goes by and they havent come to get me. I go get my drink out of the car and the receptionist tells me I can wait in the car if I wanted to. I asked what we were waiting on and asked if everyone was at lunch and she said probably. Why in the world would you have someone sit there and wait without telling them what’s going on. That was the last time I will go to this place. I get better treatment at urgent care

Angela We’ve been misled three times by this clinic, wasting lots of time and money. 1st time I was experiencing post natal hair loss, and they made me feel like I was making it up and told me they didn’t know what was wrong, and referred me to a dermatologist that was booked out for 6months and very expensive. After further googling of my symptoms I discovered it was post natal hair loss. I never followed up with the expensive referral since I found peace and a treatment plan on my own. Second time I was told I probably have auto immune, and referred to an auto immune specialist. Gratefully I got a second opinion by a doctor who listened to me, and what it was is an injury called tennis elbow. My husband went it for a skin disorder, prescribed eczema meds and referred to a very expensive dermatologist, that took hundreds of dollars from us to get no diagnosis or help. Gratefully we found a proper dermatologist months later that diagnosed him properly and put him on the correct meds for only 20$ consultation, as compared to the hundreds of dollars we’ve wasted at this office and their referrals. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because the people were kind and doin the best they could.

emma leola Nurse Torres was very helpful. She asked me a series of questions and I felt as though she cares for me and my health. As someone who was very nervous to go see a doctor for the first time in a very long time, this experience has left me feeling more confident about health related visits. On top of that the entire staff I interacted with was very kind and welcoming.

marcus stillwell Dr Perry is a wonderfull doctor who takes time to listen to the patient and his staff was very friendly. The nurse that drew my blood for labs, was very understanding of my fear of needles and she professionally distracted me from the blood drawing process and I barely felt a thing. This is the best experience I have ever had with a Primary Care Physician and I will be going to this clinic for the foreseeable future.

Samie Robertson I dont go to a doctor normally. Havent been in over 8 years probably. Just turned 65, changed insurance and thought maybe I should get a check-up. The experience I had today was flawless. The entire staff was excellent. I was very happy with Advent and the entire process was quick. Very thorough and I am very pleased with the choice I made. Dr. Perry tells you like it is. Doesnt try and persuade you into something youre not comfortable with. Once again very pleased and Thank you all...

Gillian Armstrong I am posting for my husband. Saw the FNP on Tuesday and she was rude and nasty to him, so he was scheduled to see Dr. Dye on Friday. Went to his appointment which was 3:20pm, sat for over an hour past his appointment. He went to ask what the hold up was, and finally just left. All they told him was, goodbye. Thanks to this offices incompetence, he will have to wait a few more months on his heart and diabetic medication. Thanks for nothing!!

Richard Moczygemba Dr. Dye is an outstanding physician. She addresses every concern and answers every question I have. She takes adequate time to make sure we dont miss anything. I have sometimes had to wait beyond my appointment time to be seen, but I know this is because she is taking the time to do the best assessment and treatment possible. It is well worth the wait to see her.

campbell chris (Ready2Gamble) Id give this place negative star if possible.... Scheduled an appointment over a month ago for my son to be seen. Today was the appointment. We called prior to the appointment to discuss some details and were told on the phone that we had to make sure to be there no later than 15min after our appointment 9:20. We have this recorded as we record all calls.
We were in the door at 9:27, and was talking to the desk at 9:29. The office "manager" denied us services saying we were late and no exceptions.
After a long back and forth of her asserting the little power she has they have now lost 3 patients and I hope this place shuts down with how poor they have became.
When we were patients here 3 years ago it was 100x better and the front desk actually treated you like humans, instead of smiling and laughing as they denied your special needs 5 year old.
ABSOLUTE TRASH OFFICE STAFF!

Emily Thorne Our baby was here for the first two months of his appointments. We had a 30-60 minute wait past our appointment time every single time. I had multiple issues with their billing department billing the wrong insurance despite me giving them the information three times. Then at his last visit I asked for the RSV vaccine. They told me they checked my insurance and it wasn’t covered. I checked personally and it’s 100% covered so they either lied about checking or lied about what they were told. Baby went unprotected until his four month appointment at a new office today. The clinic also just doesn’t feel lively and kid friendly. Dr. Wright was kind and helpful but we won’t be returning.

Nicholas Jackson Office currently as a whole from all personnel that work at this clinic decided to no longer accept ChampVA any longer due to ChampVA “being back up on payments”, however I do understand the frustration on not being paid “on time or expectation on time” but money of insurance company should not dictate the health of children of why they can not longer be seen, as prior service member, family is the most important and my children cannot be seen at this clinic any longer. I found out they do not take my insurance after I made an appointment with them when my child was sick and had an infection, ( I have been going to this clinic for 4 years) I then had to seek out another clinic and doctor that would take my insurance. I highly doubt NOT recommend.

KESHA J The front desk staff are insensitive individuals! I will not go back here ever again and to think it took months to actually get in to be treated unfairly. Twin appointments are the worst! The first scheduled appointment I was less than five minutes late and they said they would only see one child and I didnt understand that since we had to wait for 30 minutes after check in to be seen. Rescheduled the other twin appointment for today and the first twin also had an appointment earlier in the day. Mind you thats two trips in one day for twins when they couldve been scheduled together. The first appointment was fine, but I must mention I was on time and we still waited with no one in there but us for 30 minutes. Called to ask about a grace period for arrival because i was running five minutes behind and she said there isnt one! Ive never heard of that from any provider! Thats insane and I will never go back. Requesting records and moving on!

Erica Johnston They made an appointment for my child on a Saturday I showed up 15 mins early with both a new born and my other child early started doing paperwork and the women was kind but then let me know that they don’t do new patients on Saturday so she’d have to reschedule me to Monday she was very kind and was unsure why I was put in that spot as she didn’t work at that location primarily. She then told me to show up at the exact time on Monday since I filled out all paperwork. Come Monday I get to the appointment 7 mins past and I was “suppose to be 15 mins early” they said I was too late and would have to reschedule I got frustrated cause the first time wasn’t my fault and to have to be rescheduled for being 7 mins late was outrageous. then I explained the lady to said to show up at the time not early. They went to the back and she said it was fine to be seen. I get back to the room and waited an hour. no one came in so I went to the front to ask for my money back and to cancel as my new born was getting fussy my son was fussy sitting in the room for an hour. They said the doctor was just about to finish up with the person who had an appointment scheduled 10 mins before mine. Absolutely unexceptional to try to reschedule someone even tho there was an appointment 10 mins prior to mine and to have me wait over an hour for a doctor. I cancelled the appointment and will be moving both my children to a new office.

Marsh’s office Texas Sport & Spine since 2010… for the past 2 weeks I was having muscle spasms bad…I called & got appointment Ms. Scarlet Foster for early June, was put on the waiting list if there was a cancellation… they called back & got me in before lunch… then got a appointment for this afternoon for an injection, Dr. Marsh really knows how to get the right spot to give me relief. The whole staff, from the front desk to the nurses & techs are respectful, polite & friendly. They really take the time to take care of my Pain needs. I would highly recommend Texas Sport & Spine - Dr. William S. Marsh!

Raquel Montoya I used to LOVE this clinic and still admire Dr Marsh but I was talked to like a child by Vanderpool only because I inquired if she was running late AGAIN .
Well as usual she was she books 15 min appointments and she knows her appointments wont be less than 15 minutes. Remember that most people have to return to work. But I guess the more patients the more money she collects. They have let go of some of the sweetest people and some of the staff is so rude by example when I asked if she was running late I dont even know where she came from and immediately without any compassion to the patient she said We can reschedule you... REALLY? so I just drove from Kempner to your office waited to be called for you to just inform me I can be reschedule.. WOW and then to just be talked to and be told you were rude to people I have never met in my life. Vanderpool is knowledgeable but man does she think she is above us.. I hate to loose Dr Marsh and Belinda but I wont be talked to like I am in the principals office and also state that I am a spouse abuser in front of my husband. She stepped a bit too far. So if you want to sit and wait like you didnt have an appointment and cant speak up because then they will scold you after waiting hours past your appointment time this is the place for you lol

Caitlyn Got to my appointment 20 minutes prior, got checked in, and waited. 15 minutes past my appointment came and I still wasnt called back, so I walked up and asked whats going on. I was then told Dr Beth is running behind, okay cool I get that. An hour pass my appointment, and Im still waiting. A full hour and still havent been called back is beyond ridiculous, if youre that behind, you should reschedule people or not overbook yourself that you cant see people at their scheduled appointments. This also isnt the first time waiting a ridiculous amount of time.

Douglas Brown Nice spacious building with multiple different offices inside. Multiple different lounging areas located in the center of the two story building. Parking area is a short distance away from the building and usually packed. Getting in the parking area is easy BUT getting out is tricky because of the short light and other incoming cars from multiple different directions. Just map out your exit before pulling out the parking spot.

Susan Waiting over week for appointments is normal. Waiting to be called after arriving on time, can take easily 45-60 min.
Not thorough. Only went to her bc close to home. But she doesnt have any good doctor traits. Makes patients feel wrong for trying to find cause of illness.
Go to a different doc.

Pam Eldridge I have experienced very long wait times and phone calls to the office not being answered. When I left a message concerning an emergency health issue, I did not receive a call from Doctor Adiele. I had to go to the ER. Which was a 14-hour ordeal. I have since changed providers, and I am receiving excellent healthcare.

Lily Moonstar The office employees are indeed kind & so is the doctor. The reason for the low score is due to the unfulfilled request for a disability letter that was needed to start a new job. I was given the run around & the doctor gaslit me by avoiding the request and focusing on "what I AM capable of". I followed instructions of emailing a copy of the sample letter to the office needed by the employment company. I followed up a few times before giving up. In the end, I had to go to a doctor in Austin (who is NOT my PCP) to obtain my letter. Thanks to Dr. Adiele I missed my opportunity to start work and gain income with this company before the New Year. Im grateful that I eventually obtained this letter, but terribly inconvenienced, bills still come whether youre employed or not. I still dont know why the letter wasnt provided by Dr. Adiele who is my PCP.

Sheila Rivas I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the amazing care my son and our family received during our recent visit. Every member of your team—the nurses, medical assistants, and doctors—went above and beyond to ensure we felt heard, supported, and cared for.
Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion meant so much to us during what could have been a very stressful time. The way everyone listened attentively, treated us with respect, and provided such excellent care truly stood out. It’s rare to find a team that balances skill with such humanity.
Thank you for making such a difference in our experience. We will always remember the kindness and dedication you showed us.

I Alone Ive had two lousy experiences at this clinic.
The first one happened in 2019, I had some issues following outpatient surgery that needed attention. I did a Saturday walk-in, was charged a visit fee (over $100 IIRC), then the nurse I was assigned to told me that clinic didnt perform that function. I never got my money back, and due to my health condition at the time, didnt have the time or energy to do the battle required to get a refund. Okay fine, they screwed me when I was down, good on you MFers.
The second incident happened this week, arrived for my appt on time but was ignored for an hour. I had to leave to return to work. Im now looking into whether they are charging me and/or my insurance for non-service.
A minor thing, they fumbled the ball for several weeks before getting a new Rx to my pharmacy.

I was assigned a primary care doctor who is the best Ive ever had. Im 38 years old and seen many doctors over the years but she is amazing in the very fact she is older and listens to you. Doesnt just jump to conclusions about anything and push you out the door.

Sylvia Leads I signed up for insurance through the Marketplace. I called a hospital who gave me available physicians in the area, and I called this location.
I cannot say enough about Andrea, the scheduler who answered my call. She anticipated some challenges and voluntarily help guide me through setting up a portal, sick appointment and care appointment. Andrea was so happy, answered all my questions, was very personable, and had a great sense of humor. She was very patient when my insurance information was not showing and spoke on my behalf on three-way calls. Andrea found out that I have a different member and group number and the system recognized it right away. Andrea knew the ins and outs of the signup process and I really felt cared-for like family. She was the best.
I made a follow up call to get a list of things checked for the next doctor’s appointment. Paige Pogue, the scheduler at the time, took the time to schedule me with a physician and there was a months-along wait. Paige was so professional and methodical, and was willing to send out a request to nurses to see if I could get any of the special tests and a physical done ahead of time.
If the service I received so far is representative of the future care I will receive, I am so glad I chose this location, and so look forward to meeting them face-to-face.

Stephanie Pledger I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience with the Office Staff and Suzanne Phillips at Wellstone Medical Facility. Unfortunately, I feel that I was unfairly dismissed as a patient based on inaccurate information provided by my pharmacy without a fair opportunity to explain or clarify the situation.
As a patient, I appreciated the care provided by Suzanne Phillips. However, I was shocked and deeply hurt when I learned that they chose to end our patient-provider relationship without first seeking to verify the pharmacys claims with me directly.
I firmly believe that any responsible healthcare provider should prioritize open communication and patient advocacy, especially when serious decisions like dismissal are at stake. Instead, this situation has left me feeling unsupported, mistrusted, and stigmatized.
Trust between a patient and provider is essential; in this case, that trust was broken. I urge Wellstone, Suzanne Phillips, and the clinic to review their processes for addressing concerns raised by third parties and ensure patients are given the opportunity to be heard before such drastic measures are taken.
I hope this feedback encourages Wellstone, Suzanne Phillips, and the clinic to reflect on how to handle such situations in the future to prevent others from facing similar experiences.

Dana Starkey Honestly not even sure why there is a one star. I have seen both Dr. Swain and NP Phillips and have had excellent care with both of those providers. The first visit I had a long(ish) wait, but every other time I have been they have seen me quickly and addressed my concerns very forwardly and helped me get on track with “catching up” on my health. I have even had to bring my children on one occasion, and the staff and providers were nothing short of amazing with helping me keep them entertained. They are definitely worth the visit!
Also adding in that every order, lab result and message is easily accessed through MyChart. I have never had an issue with the app, and providers respond in a timely manner and are very accommodating when you have questions.

ECW Wellstone Partners Clinic- ORTHROPEDIC
I recently broke my ankle in May in killeen and I had already moved to Austin to be closer to work. Unfortunately most of the doctors were booked in Austin for an orthopedic so I decided let me just find someone in Killeen and drive a hour away with a broken ankle Everytime I need to follow up. Why not? Anyhow I could tell right off hand that staff wasnt efficient and really just wanted to get rid of people fast as they can no bedside manner. I had to call at least ten times to even make an appointment. No follow up call was made for me to confirm but when I arrived it stated I did by who I dont know. Upon my arrival I call at least 20 times walked all the way down the hall limping on a broken ankle and the office is temporarily closed. Walked back to ask someone only to find out they are now located upstairs. If a call back was done I assume they would of told me this or put a sign up front. I think that people that are going to see an orthopedic would be given some type of notice. I asked the lady why the phones were not working. She said they do we just get 75 calls a day and we cant answer them all. Oh woww and this is a place of business. Seen the Dr he wasnt as thorough. The visit lasted all of 5 mins he didnt do his own X-rays but the X-rays from the ER and reiterated what they said and hurried out the room. Maybe today was a busy day. I came back brought my FMLA paperwork and it stayed there over a week because I was told 3-7 business days. Of course I called at least 10 times a day after still no answer and I had to drive from Austin to see what was the hold up. The MA comes out and states someone had just put it in the tray and no one told her anything..I had to wait at least 3 hours and got it at my expense. Now I did get a return to work letter but my employer did not accept it so now I have been trying to get everything that they want and Im having the same problem. Granted the second visit was better and luckily Im being released. Im not going to say J Cohn is a bad Dr by far but his staff and that office are not following through with things they need to. I would say it lacks professionalism and courtesy and it could very well be a good place it just seems like they do what they want and do not care about the needs of the business.

So he gave my daughter medication and she is doing well. Thank you to this clinic and their wonderful staff!

Now the front desk staff is hit or as to what you are going to get. MOST of the times that I have gone in, everyone is friendly and helpful. Occasionally it is the exact opposite. BUT I am going to assume that is because of a previous encounter with a not so friendly patient…

Caroline Smith I’ve been coming to this clinic for over 10 years. I LOVE my Dr. Kadhim! She’s amazing!
She takes her time listening to your concerns and discusses treatment in detail with you! She let’s you know exactly what, how and when!
Everybody complains about how their doctors don’t listen and don’t take time for you... well she DOES! That’s why you may have to wait sometimes beyond your appointment time!
But rest assured she will give you the same time and care as she did to the previous and the following patient! She sometimes stays super late to accommodate us!
And for all of those bad comments about the front staff... they have a lot on their plate! Especially Melissa! She’s awesome!
Let’s be honest for all of us that have been in customer service, which is what this is, some customers can not be pleased no matter how hard you try! Especially on the phone! People can be so rude! We have all vented out loud before!! I know I have!!! It’s not easy to maintain your composure sometimes! So give those ladies a break y’all!! We’re all human!

ManiacalLaugh Horrible clinic!!! First let me start off with Ive been seeing Khadim for years and the clinic was okay but, has Slowly become worse. All the bad reviews on the receptionist are all true. Melissa and all the other girls are super rude, in person and on the phone, They pick and choose who they want to be nice to. Also they say Theyre open till 4, thats a straight up LIE!! They should be advertising the correct time, anytime i call at 3, no ones there and the have some person who knows nothing answer phones just to tell me call back tomorrow or Monday. At that point just say yall are closed at 3 rather than falsley putting times. Second, they still enforce all patients to wear masks and if you dont have one on hand you have to to pay $1 to get a mask otherwise theyll cancel your appointment and wont see you; which leads me up to, that they only accept cash now. They used to do card and cash but, not anymore! Now lastly, Kadhim. She doesnt seem to actually care about my main medical problems or concerns i have. she always refers back to issues that arent relevant to why i went to see her in the first place. Ive always felt unwelcome and as if my issues are being disregarded.

Brittney BS I love the doctor have been seeing her for a year now.. some of the front desk staff are totally unprofessional! The proprietary information they let leave their lips is sad! I dont mind the wait for a good doctor but to hear other patients information is sad!! P.s shes amazing only if she had true healthcare professionals that worked for her! They joked about hanging up on patients on purpose and joked about the conditions they had. I never seen anything like it well heard, if i wasnt sitting there i would have thought it was a lie! I dont know why such a great doctor has such trash working for her.. shes a beautiful spirit.

Adrianna Martinez The clinic in Killeen opens at 7am, I waited in line since 5:40am. After waiting for almost an hour and a half, I was told that they were only taking in 35 children for immunization/shots. I had called a few days in advance and was never told of this but only to be there early because the line gets very long. None of the employees came out and informed people that were still in line waiting till about 7:20am. Please do better to inform people.

Shakera Brown I always have a great experience regarding STD and HIV Testing, removal of nexplonon and getting on depo shot. It’s based on income ,what you pay for visits. But they do allow you to make any payment you can, or pay on the next visit. The nurses are all very nice.
I recommend making early appointments.
If need TB testing , call for requirements and arrive before open. Usually packed when you wait. Please be patient with staff, it’s not many people working there.

My conclusion to this year--
The Drs SHOULD examine your medi actions CLOSER and how long a patient has taken them. My issue could have been resolved way sooner than September!

Joy M My 2 year old daughter has not been feeling well so I made an appointment and her regular doctor was not available so we went with Dr.McCullers. The visit was a complete waste of time, she would not check for anything. I asked if she could check for RSV and she wouldn’t and kept calling my baby, “sis!”
I ended up having to take my baby to the ER and thank God for Mclane Children’s hospital. My baby had exactly what I thought which is RSV plus she was diagnosed with asthma. I don’t plan to ever take my kids to the children’s clinic in Killeen again. What was so hard about doing her job?

D Their financial department called my pregnant wife and asked for thousands of dollars to be paid immediately on the phone as a “deposit” for her asking for an initial pre-natal appointment. Not only is it ludicrous to ask for thousands of dollars out of pocket before we’ve even had an ultrasound, but it’s downright unethical to put intense stress on a pregnant woman.

Dustin Claypool Our experience at Baylor Scott and White was subpar. We left home at 2:30 to make our 4:00 appointment for our 9-month-old daughter but were delayed by traffic between Belton/Temple on I-35. After notifying the clinic of our expected 4:12 arrival, we were advised that our appointment was discretionary after 4:10. Upon arrival, we were kept waiting while the receptionists chatted. Ultimately, Dr. Coles had departed at 4:00 or earlier, resulting in our appointment cancellation. I find it questionable for a doctor to leave before seeing all scheduled patients. While acknowledging our delay despite timely departure, Dr. Coles actions and Baylor Scott and Whites policies demonstrated a lack of professionalism.

I had wonderful staff around me at all times including the CNRA that checked on me (which has never happened before, for me). The care nurses would joke with me and ensured me constantly they were working on the room. Yes the wait was long for the room but when I got to the room, I was greeted by a super sweet nurse, lab techs, and my doctor. I didn’t feel pressured to do anything and it was wonderful to see staff that actually seemed happy. Including the constant apologies about the wait for the room. It wasn’t hard to see why the room took so long, it seems to be a bit understaffed. However, it was a much better experience than some of stays I’ve done at Scott and White.

Jerry Jarnagan Over the past year, Ive had to take my 94 year old Father to Seton ER 3 times. Ive had to go once myself after a fall from a ladder and Ive had to take my wife once. Each time, weve experienced the best care. The longest weve ever waited for treatment was about 2 hours. If wed been at the big hospital in the area, wed have been there for minimum of 4-5 hours. Most of the time, it is less than 30 minutes. The staff is always compassionate and attentive. If I can avoid it, none of my family will ever set for in the big hospital in Temple again. We will always come to Seton in Harker Heights because we know we will receive care in a timely and professional manner. Thank you for providing an alternative to the "Big Box" hospital in Temple.

jj142798 I had to take my Neighbor, she is 75 years old to Seton medical center ER today late afternoon, I brought her in because I think she has a UTI. When we came in, the nurse took her blood pressure, gave her a cup to pee and told her they will draw blood. The nurse told her when she is done they will call her in and take care of her. My neighbor and I Set down , but after one a half hour, she had still her urine cup in her hand. My neighbor got up and walked to the nurse and ask her What to do with her urine cup and when she get drawn her blood. The nurse told her give me a moment, because I have to take care of the line. So my neighbor came back and we waited. I, myself looked around, and there was a patient who drew up. A nurse came and cleaned it. Instead pull the patient in a room, because he was very sick, they let him sit outside on the chair. Then he started throwing up again and again, and the nurse came and cleaned it up. Then the Patient peed on himself, and the nurse cleaned it up. The nurse forgot to clean the urine under the chair. Then the registration lady called the patient in, and he sat in the chair and answered question. In the meantime, a married Couple came in and set on the chair where the patient set before. The urine was still under the chair. So my neighbor got up and got to the people and told them to sit somewhere else, because of what happened with this patient. Then the patient came out from the Registration and he set back in his chair. The registration lady cleaned her hand, but never the chair. The Registration lady called another patient in and the lady sat in the chair who was contaminated?
I was in shock! So after 2 1/2 hours waiting, my neighbor got up to the nursing station and ask friendly What’s going on ? The nurse was very nice first when we came in , but she was not so nice no more . So my neighbor told her she get home and ask her what she have to do with the urine and she was like in a ( over worked) ruff tone : put it in the trash and my neighbor then ask what she have to do with the blood pressure cuff and she told her put it in the trash too.
So we walked out after 3 hours sitting, my neighbor holding the urine cuff , got entertained with the patient who drew up, urinated, saw the Registration lady , cleaned her hand , but never the chair. Saw a lot of people coming in. Some, seems to got out and they came in later.
There are so many people who came in and only one Nurse in the nursing Station?
This patient who drew up, needed to be in a room, because You will never know what his medical condition is or was!
I was in shock was I experienced today in your hospital!
My neighbor was not very happy after three hours waiting time. This was a waste of time and I told her don’t worry. See your doctor tomorrow.
She told me never say the word Seton again!
I promise I will not!

I went because I suffered frostbite due to the winter storm, the HISTORIC winter storm. After four hours the four people that were there prior had been seen and gone. I eventually walked out after the third patients that arrived TWO HOURS AFTER ME got seen and gone. I dont know what their practices are but needless to say this is why so many people dont seek treatment because when needed treated like you are unimportant

Javier Moreno Dr Malave it pains me to write this. The quality of service in your office has vanished. The young lady that takes the blood pressure makes disgusting faces while simultaneously treating you as if you have a disease that will end her if she comes close. After stating how she made me feel she says she just wants to get it over with because theirs others waiting (I spent over a hour and a half waiting myself) and continues to act in that manner but worse. After expressing my experience to Dr Malave wife in the front this young lady talks over me and gives more attitude. It was hard to hear what she was trying to say due to me talking but she did try to defend herself and suggested she did nothing wrong. I praised the other young lady that was in the front and Blessed Mrs. Malave and walked out with the young lady continuing to speak out loud.
It’s been 15 years that Dr Malave has seen me. I loved it every time. I left my town for a few years and now that I am back and the rumors are true. The office has been tainted. God bless You Dr Malave, but your reputation will continue to wither down if your office does not get a new competent crew member and more as a matter of fact.

I called one day, and the lady I spoke to began to yell at me because she failed to do her job correctly, and I was trying to be of some help to her so that I could get my medication. She literally threw a fit and never resubmitted my forms to my insurance company. Needless to say, I only had 2 appointments total here and will not ever return. Be prepared to wait for hours also. Becca Brutal I had a referral for both counseling and psychiatry for medication. They never reached out to me once my referrals were available. I had one and then asked my doctor for the other. I came off my medication on my own. Then I called to make an appointment on a Friday and was told that they leave at noon on Friday. That to me is not reasonable considering the volume of people that have issues and need appointments. I looked up their reviews. The reviews left me with doubts about the quality and competency of them being able to help me. So today I was called to make an appointment and I called back and was told they wanted more information regarding what I wanted to be seen about from my doctor and wanted me to go back and ask them to send something. I asked why can’t you ask me or have an evaluation type form for me to do. Well she said that they also have that form but still wanted this from my doctor. Well I got off the phone and I realized that this is wasting my time and my doctor’s time. And what if I don’t feel like sharing that much information with my doctor. It really kinda pissed me off. They had my referral since December or January and had no concern to reach out to ask for this information and no concern to make appointments. It’s now March. And then they are scheduling 2-4 weeks out. Well maybe if they worked on Fridays they could knock out some of that delay. This bullcrap sealed the deal for me that they lack in care and competence. I’ll find somewhere else.

Götterdämmerung Wasserjungfer Kaiser Michelkos (Erzherzog Junge Römer) I was a patient 20 years ago back when it was called Metroplex Pavillion, where thier services was used to aid my narcissistic mother to abuse me. Anger is valid response to abuse and having trained mental health "experts" recruited as flying monkeys to gaslight a child as the abusive one. They also misdiagnosed my autism spectrum disorder as antisocial personality disorder. They also think its okay to send kids to a resident treatment facility aka the troubled teen industry. Think of places like Élan School. This place squares the blame on the child yet never asks as to why the child is acting out in the first place. I didnt need therapy then but I need it now. Kim H Dr Bishara is a fantastic psychiatrist - I have had the best experience working with him. I am not going to leave the clinic immediately now that he is moving on as it has been difficult to find a good provider in the area. For him personally - I did a 5 star review. I will give the new practitioner a fair chance and review later- but my main concern is the front desk staff. I should have written a review two years when I was first trying to start services here and get an autism evaluation for my son. The lady that works at the front desk is one of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered and I even caught her in a lie regarding my paperwork more than once when we were having issues with our referral. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt as everyone has bad days - but I have had far more negative encounters with her in two years than neutral or positive. She lacks any sort of basic customer service skills which in my opinion is vital to a front desk attendant in any job but even more so in a behavioral health clinic of a Christian organization.

John Moseley Saw orthopedic specialist for needed hip repair, X-ray, MRI and two visits before my surgery . Told him my injury was old (1975) and bad . Had way too many injections to make it through the years. Surgery scheduled at Advent to replace the hip. Told approved by my health plan after MRI .
Surgery was to last 2 hours , hoped to go home that night or the next day. Surgery lasted 9 hours I came out to ICU. My wife was left alone in a deserted waiting room as everyone went home at 5. I learned a lost blood and received transfusions, aspirated and was lucky to be alive. Saw my surgeon that night and never again the 4 days in ICU.
Later learned there were abnormalities, complications, and errors in my surgery. The ICU stay and hospital stay was grueling.
10 days after discharge I developed an infection, original surgeon ghosted me. A carrying nurse sent me to BSW ER in Temple, the ortho docs , staff, infectious disease folks there saved my leg and likely my life. 5 stars for them. BSW Hemmingway Ortho and Advent get zero if I could give it . If u use advent watch you bill, they failed to obtain $25k worth of out of network provider for my surgery. The BSW ortho docs are not under the same supervision as the Temple Docs, I believe they answer to Mayberry RFD. Make the drive to the real hospital, best gas money I ever burned .

Tylisha Reed The 2 receptionist on the first floor on the left hand side were terrible! I stood in line for 15 minutes after Echeck in while they giggled and gossiped. The ladies on the right were working very hard to get the long line under control. Finally a lady on the right saw the ladies on the left were not doing their job and asked if they can check people in. She finally called me up and told me I was checked in and to go to 3rd floor, 370. As I get up to the third floor (mind you this is my first time here ever) the rude lady at the middle desk before I can even get the first syllable of my question out, rudely interrupts me “ go around there” I ask for 370? She’s like “ yea… around there” pointing around the corner. So freaking rude like I could’ve been asking you where did you get that bad hair cut from. Ugh I hope this is NOT where I’ll be going for the next 9months! I wish I could rate them all individually because the receptionist for OB/GYN was pleasant and friendly unlike the others I encountered. Yuan圆Jing靖 Systemic Way of Overcharging Patients.
Stay away and Be Aware!!!
I took my son to see Dr. Neak on 1/10/2025. He had a foot injury two days before the appointment. He was not in much pain, but the X-ray showed he had bone fractures on his two smallest toes of one foot.
Doctor looked at the X-ray and said he needed a boot for the injured foot. Shortly after that, doctor left the room. He did not come back again. All was like a regular doctor office visit, and I did not expect he would be back into the room either. Dr. Neak did not stay any time longer than that of a regular doctor office visit.
We waited a while in the room. Eventually a nurse brought in a boot. At first the boot size was too big, and then a smaller size boot was brought in. My son put the boot on, and we walked out of the doctors office.
All seemed normal until the bills rolled in.
The actual bills came in roughly after one month. My insurance company had processed the claims. Let me list them out below. I had called my insurance and had called Baylor Scott White Billing too. I spent > 1 hour talking to them, but it did not help at all. I was surprised even more after learned how the claims were justified. The explanations of the claims would shock you.
Four Claims with charges:
1. Dr. Neak Office visit cost about twice a regular doctor visit would cost. My insurance told me it was not because Dr. Neak was a specialist, but because the claim said the office a long one - longer than a regular dr. office. It is a 45 minute dr. office visit claim.
OK, I thought. It must be the boot thing prolonged the office visit time. A regular dr. office does not need to spend time trying out the boot. Anyway, heres the charge:
*** Doctor office claim: $322.00; Amount Allowed: $217.95 ***
2. A surgery charge in the same claim as 1: I was told anything happened besides the doctor talking to you in a regular dr. visit would be put into the Surgery category. Well, I guess the nurse with the boot thing must be the "surgery".
**** Surgery claim: $477.00; Amount Allowed: $242.96 ***
3. Medical Supply: a separate charge. Must be the boot again.
**** MEDICAL SUPPLIES: $335.04; ; Amount Allowed: $161.95 ***
4. The most outrageous charge of all: Baylor and Scott white charged an "outpatient services". When we called BSW billing and told them we never left the same doctors office, they said it did not matter - they could call the same doctor office visit room a treatment room. Also I was told that I signed all papers when I came in, so it means that I agreed to be charged by whatever they regularly would charge. Regularly, excuse me? Your regularly doing something wrong does not make it right.
Well, I did sign the papers when walked through the door, but that did not give hospital the rights to charge patients whatever did not make sense.
Anyway, I guess It is all the boot, which was brought in by the nurse, was labeled as "SURGERY". Wow, some surgery happened, the hospital must have to seize the opportunity to make a charge too. The claim said - SURGERY happens in the clinic treatment room. Wow, the same doctor office is labeled differently, now the label started to generate some revenue too. Heres the charge:
**** OUTPATIENT SERVICES: $1,180.17; Amount Allowed: $581.82 ***
Baylor Scott White also made an attempt to add an entry of an "office visits" of $325.00 in the same claim they did for "OUTPATIENT SERVICES", but fortunately my insurance gave it a $0 Amount Allowed.
Fellow consumers, I do not think we are patients in the eyes of hospitals and doctors, we are consumers. Please be aware, please be careful. God bless.

Cola Johnson I have never been treated with so much disrespect at a baylor scott and white facility. I been to several. These two ladies. One African American and the other I am not positive had shoulder length hair bold.face lied and told me mu insurance fought against the Affordable Care Act and wouldnt be paying 100% for preventative care. After calling my insurance twice they refused to take the information stating I would need to call back and reschedule an appointment and call my insurance to go through this entire process again. I asked to speak to a supervisor. They stated their supervisor was working at killeen loaction
When I called the killeen location to report it , they stated each facility has their own supervisor and I was more than likely lied to. I this happened on Tuesday August 6, I have yet received a call for someone to alleviate the problem or situation.

Marisol My first time at this clinic and my last. My husband and I had an appointment with Dr. Canell to get a pap smear and another test I needed to begin treatment. When she came into the room she was very upset and treated us very rudely. We did not understand her behavior, and we also did not like the way she told us things. In addition, she did not want to do one of the tests. I do not know how they have a person like that, who does not know how to treat patients and is unprofessional. I have never had such a horrible experience like this. I really do not recommend this clinic and much less this doctor.

Kimani Johnson I was blown away by how nicely my first visit to this clinic went. The building was clean and comfortable. Dr. Tillman and her assistant Micaela put me at ease. They saw me early, answered all of my questions, and adjusted my treatment plan to make sure there were no contraindications. I was referred for 1 issue and I ended up getting help for 4 issues. 10/10

SUSAN I get my labs done every week at the Harker Heights clinic. One day, they made one of my labs at the killeen clinic and, out of habit, just went to Harker heights instead. They see me every week it was an obvious mistake and an easy adjustment to make but the young black girl at the desk act as if it was impossible and was going to make me reschedule my whole appt. She finally reluctantly decided to change it but not without attitude and acting as if I was a bother. The girls upfront all act this way when just trying to check in... every week its the same attitude.
I told my nurse what happened, and she was just as shocked as I was why the receptionist made such a big deal of it and just didnt change it. She said the receptionist shouldnt have tried to reschedule my appt and just make the adjustment considering Im there all the time!
I am giving a stars just because the nurses there are the only good thing about that clinic, but 0 star for the girls up front.

Jorge D First time at this clinic and will be my last. Front desk caucasian lady is rude as they can design them she got mad that I interrupted her nail polish session. Customer service is not on her skill set. She is intolerant bossy and challenging. Her facial expressions shows how much she doesnt want to be there I think she will do better as a correctional officer.

Moxie Tomanica It was a few years ago that this happened but I was concerned with the side effects of my birth control and my doctor told me I should be more concerned with my weight and my ability to have Children. Im there to get BIRTH CONTROL dont lecture me about my weight in the name of having children when I dont want any not to mention you are not my primary doctor so mind your business. I have since lost weight but I still think about that womans comment and how it was incredibly inappropriate. I also experienced sexual trauma and she rushed me into my papsmeer which I had not scheduled so it was a surprise and I was trying to get myself mentally prepared and she told me "your partners see it so why do you have a problem with me seeing it" really creepy and not at all comforting coming from a stranger who wont give me five minutes to prepare. I have since grown as an adult and am no longer 22 years old so now it doesnt sit well with me that I allowed that treatment. Dont take your daughters here. Dont take yourself here.

jessica koonts I called to make an appointment because I had missed my period for two months, it took two weeks to get in. I was finally seen on 2 April, the doctor was an hour late at getting me in for my appointment, I explained my symptoms and he ordered a lab workup, which did not include a pregnancy test. A few days later I was having more symptoms and I took a pregnancy test and I found out I was pregnant, I called the office and they told me to just come in on the 12th when I had a different appointment scheduled. On the 12th they called and canceled, I told them I needed my lab work...they were not tracking that I thought I was pregnant because they had not updated my record. The told me if I made it in before 11am they would draw my blood. I went in and had seven viles of blood taken, I didnt get to see a doctor or a nurse and the receptionist told me my labs would be ready on the following Wednesday. Now it is the 22nd and It took two people to find my labs, because they were never inputted into the system, they finally did locate them. but now they are telling me they are still not back even though they should have been in on the 17th. I go in tomorrow to request my medical records be sent to another doctor. I cannot believe how unorganized this office is and how little they care for their patients, I am 8 weeks along and I had to go to a walk in clinic to get a nurses consultation and an ultrasound because I couldnt get anything back from my doctor. I do not recommend Dr. Kempers office for any of your healthcare needs.

A It is very convenient that each department has a reception area. I took a ticket, and they called me. They confirmed my identity, asked the reason for my visit, and what needed to be done. I waited for about five minutes, and then they called me in for an X-ray. After five minutes, I was done, and an hour later, they called to inform me of the results. Everything was handled promptly. The only downside was that the woman at the reception was not very nice or friendly.

Destiny Malchiodi I highly recommend coming on post for the ER. I waited roughly 5 minutes between each person in the intake process. I think 20-30 minutes from my arrival to a room. My whole stay was 2 hrs including bone scan, blood tests and UA. They didnt believe anything was wrong. They did do tests on me despite me looking ok. I am having neuro issues which I have to see a specialist for.
If you have something urgent you will be seen much faster here than at any other hospitals in the area.

Samantha Tinker If I could give it 0 stars I would and this is mainly for the Emergency room. Everytime I come here I end up waiting 2+ hours where they barely do any Triage before sending you back into the waiting room to wait another 2 hours. As a military base I understand that uniform patients get priority during their active business hours but at 5pm you should not be ONLY taking uniform patients before your civilian ones. Had a uniform solider come in AFTER me, with a scratch on his wrist. He was triaged and got a bed before I ever got labs done. Came in the first time with a fever of 102, passing out spells from fatigue and nausea where they had me sit in the waiting room for 4 HOURS! I never even got a bed I had to end up leaving because I passed out in the wheelchair, they ignored me, I left after that. The second time was pain in my hip and lower stomach so bad I couldnt walk and I ended up leaving after 2.5 hours! If you dont have to come to this Emergency room DONT! THEY WILL KILL YOU!

Stephen Lawler I cant express enough how disappointed I am with my experience at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. I’ve had two surgeries canceled due to sterility problem, which has been incredibly frustrating and disheartening. Each time I thought I was finally moving forward, only to be told that my procedure was off the table yet again.
To make matters worse, I was referred to an off-post doctor, but thanks to the convoluted Tricare West system, the referral has yet to go through. Its been months of dealing with pain and uncertainty, and I feel like I’m stuck in a never-ending loop of bureaucracy. The lack of communication and support from the staff has made this situation even more unbearable.

Robert Nolin My wife had an appointment with them.... she was running late waiting on her ride to take her there. She decided to call and inform them she was going to be a lil late and asked them if it was alright to come in still they said yes. My wife is pregnant and has mental issues she takes meds for ....when she got their they turned her around even though she told them she needed help. They said their POLICIES say you got to be their 30 min before the appointment. My wife had a Break down and is now in the hospital because of their POLICIES. Their policies are supposed to be to help people not making them worse by throwing ignorant policies at her so they didnt have to do their Job. Someone needs to do something about this place, my wife has noone else she can go to for her mental problems... and im wondering how many other people who really need help have gone through the same treatment.

A Neither good nor bad, it is very cold in the building, I advise you to always take a warm sweater with you at least. Two girls working at the reception are sitting in sweaters. It is not clear why no one adjusts the air conditioner so that everyone is comfortable. Moreover, sick people and small children come to them.
As far as I understand, military families come to this clinic. Because when entering, to get a ticket, you need to scan the card.
It is not clear why they do not answer phone calls to their clinic, because the girls at the reception have plenty of free time, but I have never heard their phone ring, it is strange...
I was seen quite quickly, I had to wait for the doctor for about half an hour.
Afterward, the doctor told me to go to the pharmacy window and pick up the medicine.
In total, I spent about 1 hour - 1:30 hours in this clinic.
Unfortunately, this clinic did not keep its promise to provide the test results the next day. Nobody called me, so I had to go there myself to address the issue.

William Lovett If this is where your primary care provider is through tri care ask for a new one. This office is entirely unhelpful referred me to the wrong type of doctor that was out of network they do not answer the phone when they do call you back they have an attitude and will try to hang up on you. They will not assist in any way with getting a new referral sent to you for the right doctor. I have fairly low standards for what I expect from military healthcare or healthcare providers in general but at this point they are 4 weeks behind on getting me a referral and despite everything I have done I do not think I will be able to get a referral without switching my primary care provider. If I could give 0 stars I would.

But as far as the front office personnel they need to do better!!! I called the office in Harker Heights got through on the second ring! I will be transferring somewhere else soon!
It’s ridiculous. I know I can book and all that online but sometimes people just need to have one simple questioned answered and you would think by call the office they would be more than helpful nope. I wouldn’t refer anyone here for that reason! And I’ve complained about this before! Nothing has changed

John Mckinnon If I could go lower then 1 star I would. My father is a veteran suffering with mini strokes and Parkinsons. We brought him to this ER, they sent him home....my father wasnt coherent and couldnt even comprehend what was going on yet they sent him home knowing no one was there to care for him. All the while another man who was completely coherent and could walk around just fine they were forcing him to stay against his will. Mind you this other patient was NOT under arrest and wanted to refuse medical care yet they had security force him into a room claiming he was to drunk. The man did not stumble or anything and I smelled no alcohol from him when I was standing next to him. These "doctors" send a non coherent veteran home to most likely get hurt all the while they hold another man against his will. Avoid this place if you value yourself or your family. Ill try to attach the video I took which a security guard tried to tell me I needed to delete I laughed in his face. The video will show my father who needed to use to bathroom and could hardly stand being put back in a wheelchair instead of brining him to bathroom they gave up and put him back in the wheel chair to pee himself. Avoid this place if you have an option they do not care about patients. Once they realized I was recording they quickly tried to stop me knowing I was going to expose theyre mistreatment.

K M Pain Management scheduled an imaging procedure. I showed up at 9 am for a 10:30 procedure, and staff thanked me for filling out the paperwork in advance. I was hoping to be seen early because I have an appointment later today, but informed staff that this was my priority because these images are holding up my Rehabilitation and Neurological heath care. I was then informed they couldnt begin my procedure until I had a driver in the waiting room. That information would have been nice to know 3 weeks ago. So, since my wife is with my daughter at her appointment, I called around. No luck. I could have my wife or the DAV there at the end of the procedure to pick me up, but that wasnt good enough. I informed them that I would sign an Against Medical Advice form, and they cancelled and rescheduled my appointment without asking me. Then, sent me an email at 10:04 with instructions for my procedure. The waiting room was full, I think they were just looking for excuses to cancel appointments. Also, Hip imaging from two weeks ago came back as "unremarkable" when the prior image by a specialist came as "unrecognizable as a hip due to excessive scar tissue and inflammation." OH, and the MRI machine was MK1. I have had probably 200 MRIs in the last 6 years, and never had an MRI is such a decrepit machine.

Selina Hood I would not give them a star. Most Advents are small care facility around bigger cities and not a hospital, and they overcharge and do not give you the care you need. If you go to a real hospital like the Methodist in San Antonio or UTMB, or even MD Anderson, they do not go off their charts because they are inaccurate.

Charles Sulzen I know there have been many negative reviews left here. I report to Desk Wolverine. Ive never seen any type of behavior that has been complained about in other reviews. Sure sometimes things are stressful, they lose stuff etc, but if you remember you arent the only person in the world with issues, and treat them with respect, they have always reciprocated. I am not giving 5 stars, because they are short staffed so everything takes a little bit of time.

Drea Jones How am I supposed to maintain medical readiness with the terrible service this facility provides? I’d rather just deal with the medical issue than come here for the piss poor attitudes & service. I understand they have a lot of patients and a stressful job, however it does excuse rude behavior.
Why is there a number listed if no one ever answers? I walk in to schedule appointments & receptionist always say “come back tomorrow”… Staff are rarely present in the morning, took an early lunch, or claims to have “already logged out of the system & unable to access the appointment schedules” … & if you don’t believe me, read the other reviews. Patriot team seems disgruntled and annoying that you walked in. No matter how much respect & friendliness you show them, it’s never reciprocated.

Ryan Wallace The pharmacy waiting room is full of people while one employee is just playing on his phone in the window since I’ve been here. The only other window employee has had what appears to be a manager talking to her for the last 15 minutes. No new tickets have come up in 20 minutes. Two, zero, minutes. No wonder I only hear bad things about this clinic.
Every time I have been here (can only speak on labs and pharmacy), the employees have zero motivation. It almost feels like they go slow and do the bare minimum on purpose. Whoever runs Darnall needs to get put over here for a few months and turn this place around.
