Rockwall Farmers Co-Op I dont even want to give this place 1 star. This was the worst hospital stay i have ever had. Nurses on a surgical floor should check on their patients. My iv was leaking onto my arm. They told me it was fine. I didnt get any of the pain meds or saline i was supposed to have. I was on no food or drink for 24 hours. I needed those iv medications. They should know what to do if a patient has a reaction. Instead, they turned off the lights and shut all doors at 9pm and sat at the desk. I had a reaction in the middle of the night and needed immediate attention. The charge and floor nurses just stood there and looked at me. I needed help. They did not give it. They dis not take care of me. I begged my surgeon to send me home. Please do not take your worst enemy there.

Ms.Jamie Jay I had my baby here and it was a great experience. Every nurse I had was perfect and nice surprisingly. When I went into labor, an entire team came in and it’s like everyone was in sync and knew exactly what their job was. Everyone was smiling and worked so perfect together. Their food was good and didn’t taste like hospital food at all. All of the nurses made sure my baby had lots of blankets, bottles, diapers, I mean everything! The view was nice. The rooms were super clean, they even make sure you are super clean lol. The only thing I have to complain about are the beds are horrible, hard, and flat which is so uncomfortable especially after having a baby like come on now. And the other thing was the lady that was doing my epidural had to be someone new. She stuck me in my back at least 10 times to the point I was literally screaming at her to stop touching me. She went and got a male doctor and he got it on one try. They had to heavily sedate me because of what the lady did put me in so much pain that I never experienced in my life. I wish I would have stopped her after 2 tries. This was May 16 2023 when my daughter Kassidy was born that morning and to this day I’m experiencing back pain. They should be trained to know when enough is enough and to go get help. Other than that it’s a good hospital to have your baby.

Danicia Thomas I went here yesterday, not my first time here, but I would never go back. I went because I was getting flu symptoms. Beware I was around my younger siblings that have the flu so I knew I had the flu. They swab my nose and my throat, but they didn’t do it correctly. I’ve gotten the flu several times in my life every time i’ve gotten the swab done in my nose, which kind of tingles or burns. She barely went to the back of my nose, the same for the strep throat test instead of swapping the back of my throat by my tonsils and my uvula she swabbed the sides of my mouth so they came back telling me I didn’t have the flu and I knew that was incorrect. I’m 37 weeks pregnant. I got there at 3 o’clock. I didn’t get my baby checked on Until about 7:30, which I had to request and asked for because they were not going to check on my baby. At first they brought in ultrasound machine that did not work because he did not pick up any heartbeats the noise was flat sound as she moved it around my belly and she gave me a heart rate that I feel like she lied about because she put the machine across my stomach there was no sound so how are you picking up a heart rate but no sound. They had to order a sonogram from a different hospital at 8 o’clock to get there. Beware I checked I got there at three o’clock and I had to request for this myself. They were not gonna check on my baby if I didn’t say anything. My blood pressure was low the entire time I was there, and my heart rate was high, all they did was give me an IV when I kept telling them. I was severe pain because my body aches were unbearable. The doctor said he was gonna give me Tylenol. It took about two hours just for them to give me two pills and it took them three hours 1/2 hours to come back just for my urine sample & swabs for flu and strep. I got there at 3 o’clock. I didn’t see the doctor till almost 8 and the only reason why the doctor came in the room is because my blood pressure has not gone up and it was low the entire time I was there With a high heart rate. They told me they can only test for what they had The doctor told me I probably had some sort of viral infection, but they could only test for what they have so that means they didn’t have proper kits or whatever to test me so they didn’t know what was wrong And they didn’t have any Covid test. They don’t have OB services there or Maternity ward. They sent me home with a low blood pressure, high heart rate And no prescription for anything. The lady from triage was very nice But again did not swap me correctly The doctors were very Short and dismissive And my nurse Veronique had a attitude. Gigi Who I believe was my charge nurse was the only one sweet and concerned. And every time I come here, they have a problem with drawing blood and getting an IV started. They stuck me three times yesterday yesterday The last time I came here in 2024 they stuck me five times But when I go to my primary clinic, I never have these issues When it comes to drawing blood. I don’t recommend this hospital for any type of emergencies maybe only small non emergency matters And if you are pregnant, please don’t go at all. They’re not properly trained to deal with pregnant women so you are a liability and they really don’t want to deal with you. That is the vibe they gave me the entire time I was there. I got there at 3 o’clock. They seen me immediately. I didn’t leave till 11:30 PM. All just to get one bag of saline that took 4-5 hours to get it didn’t give me any pain meds till 8 o’clock. So I was sitting there with low blood pressure and a lot of pain and the fact I had to push them to get an ultrasound from a different hospital was crazy. Never again!

Keya Goodwin This hospital should be shut down. They absolutely are horrible. Non caring, incompetent and flat out rude. My mom was in excruciating pain dealing with severe arthritis on her entire left side and left knee. They talked disrespectfully to her and I took her out of that hospital and to a hospital that took her in with great care, consideration and respect. Lacking bed side manner and care is not the career for any of the workers at White Rock. The check in staff was nice enough, however, no one was professional.
